Fresh brunch menu always served beautifully

We arrived at 1pm and was told a 30 min wait time we were finally brought our food at 1345.

Family of four went for tapas on 4/12/24 it was awesome thankyou for your hard work

I have just really enjoyed my second Tappas evening at this lovely place. The food is always excellent, breakfast, lunch, or evening, and the atmosphere is warm & friendly. Breakfasts here are certainly one of the best around. Very much recommended. 😊

Really enjoyed an evening of tapas. Food was great. The Spanish tortilla is unmissable - recommended. A memory of warm Spanish dining on a cold winter evening. The cocktails were also well received.

Last night we had a private function here and the service we received was amazing! They were very helpful when initially arrived helping to decorate the venue, the service was friendly, polite and nothing was too much trouble. From start to finish the whole experience has been commendable. I would definitely recommend this venue if you are looking for somewhere to hold a gathering. Thanks again to all the amazing staff you are truly very professional 👏

My husband and I have been to burger night and tried the tapas this week. Both were absolutely delicious and really good value for money. We will definitely be visiting again.

Met with a few family and friends (10 in total) and received quite rude service from the bar staff, made us feel very uncomfortable. Seemed they had limited drinks left. When ordering drinks he was very arrogant with zero customer service. We didn’t realise you’re not able to Walk into a pub on a Sunday afternoon without pre booking and hiring the whole place out for 10 people. Which he recommended we did in the future. We managed to have 2 drinks each before his unbearable attitude and making people feel uncomfortable to order another drink was enough. We have been in on a Sunday afternoon previously which had other people in and never experienced issue hence the reason we decided to call in. Sorry but we’ll stick with other establishments in the area that are quite happy for the customers to spend money in their business.

Decent well presented bar. Good for light food, coffee and/or a pint. More 'bar' than 'pub'. A pleasant atmosphere with friendly staff and a good standard of light food.

Food was excellent but didn't understand why I got my dessert before my main. Service was great would recommend 👌 thanks

Fantastic little bar. Lovely decor, welcoming atmosphere and great selection of drinks. We booked the venue for a suprise birth celebration. Multiple booking options from private functions to open reservations. The team were very accommodating.

Lovely little place to chill and have some tasty food. Relaxed atmosphere and a great coffee. Really friendly staff and very helpful and down to earth. Also noticed a great selection of beers on tap!! Must return when not driving 😂

Went for lunch first class service and first class food loved it going back for more next week !!!!

Nice pub in the former Post Office on the corner of Church Street in Orrell. There are sheltered timber booths at the rear in addition to the internal seating. There is a good selection of beers, together with some bespoke cocktails in addition to the more normal ones. Food is also available if you feel peckish as well as Nobby's Nuts! Staff are very nice and welcoming, and the Copper Tap is a pleasant place to visit for a drink, plus live music on Saturday.

This is possibly the worst service I’ve had in a foodie place. We was told a 20 minute wait when ordering the food which wasn’t a problem but as I am writing this review 1 hour and 20 minutes later two of our party still haven’t got there food and the other 3 have had and eaten their food which took over an hour to arrive. Two of our party have had to leave for an appointment so they only had 15 minutes to eat their food. The experience of going out with family for a nice breakfast/ lunch was spoilt by very poor service most of all the staff need to be honest with the timing of food coming out the kitchen. The food when it came was actually nice but really spoilt by the service. Not once have we had an apology for our inconvenience nor offered to purchase a drink we have actually ordered a drink 20 minutes ok and that hasn’t turned up yet.

Had a few cheeseboard from here and they are amazing and great value for money. Staff are great and the atmosphere brilliant

Great food and beer in a great little bar with fantastic outside area

I’ve visited the copper tap for both food (mainly brunch) and for drinks at the weekend. Both are equally great! The food is gorgeous - eggs Benedict being a personal favourite. And the nightlife is bustling with a warm, community atmosphere. Decor gets a lot of these stars as it’s just stunning!

Saturday 1st July 2023 This Orell bistro pub is a eating house but it had as picture I took shows 2 great small brewery hand pumped ales on This micro pub styled pub is so easy going inside and the food must be good looking at the clientelle in here today I would give this pub top matks for hand pumped ales alone

Good food and beer, outside drinking area and dogs welcome outside. Some nights they have live music on. Some nights you can't enter as they have private functions.

Food is excellent. Great beer garden. Dogs allowed in garden only.

Really nice modern pub/bar nice staff, clean and tidy... wonderful beer garden with open and sheltered seating. A good looking menu ... we enjoyed our spicy cheese chips. Real ale on offer ... what more could you want ! 🙂

Superb Bar & Bistro, Excellent food & drinks - Highly recommended

Terrible experience, went in, took about 20 mins to get seen, food took 45 mins - 1 hour to arrive and when it did, the chicken was undercooked, my friend had to spit it out as was pink, when mentioned to server she asked for the plate to show the chef who said "it's just a pink bit of the chicken" are you joking? They comped that meal but I also ordered the cheese toasties, which took longer than my friends dish to arrive, this too was awful the cheese was too much with little else and costing nearly £8. Shocker. Don't go here, find somewhere nicer with more space and where you don't feel like an inconvenience and aren't getting robbed by extortionate prices.

Fantastic Food, Eaten here a few times and not had Anything that we don't like. the service is great. I don't know the name of the woman who works in the mornings but she is lovely, really attentive and nicely spoken, makes a change in this current madness! Drinks are a bit expensive if you compare them to the likes of the hungry horse etc. but its an independent bar so you pay more. outside seating area is good with the heaters. I was going to give 4 stars because there is always room for improvement but sat here and thought there nothing that could be improved worth dropping a star for.... one thing would be to install some A/C there isn't enough flow of air to stop it getting very "Moist"! Condensation builds up very quickly with only a few people being in there, the big window at the front steams up and has water running down it. this in the medium term will cause you a lot more headaches than shelling out for some proper A/C.

Food was good, but service was painfully slow. Felt like we were an inconvenience for the waitress.

I celebrated my Baby shower here with family and friends. It was absolutely perfect. From when I first got in touch with the owner Liz I received excellent service. Nothing was too much trouble. She was happy to cater for a selection of dietary requirements too which was wonderful. On the day, all of the staff went above and beyond to make sure that the day ran smoothly. The food was delicious and all of my guests where really happy. If you are thinking of hosting an event here or just visiting for a drink and a bite to eat. I highly recommend it. Thank you to all of you lovely people at the Copper Tap!

Fab place ! 1st visit with friends , staff very helpful and accomodating . Had cheese board and salad to share , Amazing !! Very reasonably priced too Defo recommend !

We bookd a table for 6 when we got there we were given 2 tables wich ment we wernt all sat together..we wanted food we wernt given any menus had to go the bar for them ..the service was not good we were waiting ages for our drinks ...we ended up walking out without eating and went sumwere else.

Absolotly awful would never go again. Top price for beer, service extremely slow. Toilets very dirty. Only one male toilet. Tables broke outside. Very cheap and flimsy. Umbrellas up on tables. Shocking experience.
