Came for poker night on Tuesday Lauren and Amy really looked after us so will be back next week 🍻👍🏼

The Stag Inn is becoming my prefered choice for dining out , kids even prefer it , great food , friendly staff quick sevice

I’ve visited twice now and both times Lauren was working, nothing is too much for her made me feel very welcome, food was great, will definitely be returning and recommending to friends & family

Stopped off here for lunch with a colleague. Ordered drinks and food from the bar. Service was very friendly and efficient. Food came in good time. We had a couple of starters and items of the main menu. Good portion size nicely cooked and tasted great. No issues at all. Left site to a smile and a thanks from the staff.. Great experience thankyou

Ribs were lovely, Fell straight off the bone. Server katlyn was fantastic. Very helpful Will definitely visit again!!

Ordered on deliveroo X2 clucking hot stack burger meals Poorly presented, very soggy burger buns, and no onion rings as advertised which was deceptive. Spicy chips was underwhelming.

So today I took my lovely friend and her son out for lunch . Her son is a special needs child. The staff (lauren) was so lovely with him made our lunch very enjoyable

First time ordering from here, and it was amazing! Came within an hour, still hot! Really really good! They deserve all the great feedback they’re getting!

As always a great meal at The Stag Orrell. Served today by Ashley for the first time, super friendly and helpful. Great deal on wine too, buy 2 glasses and get the rest of the bottle. £35 for 2 adults and child bottle of wine and 2 soft drinks. Talk about value for money !

Went in for food the other day and received some brilliant service from Mark. He made sure that we were well looked after and was very friendly. Definitely will come back again.

The service I received was exceptional. I ordered the mixed grill with peppercorn sauce this arrived very quickly and was sizzling and delicious

Just been to the stag with my wife for a drink . Was on the way home and got the taxi to stop at the stag. It was 22.50pm . Last orders is 23.00pm and the website also says open. Went to the bar young girl looked surprised and said sorry were shut . Lads sat on the table with full pints still so they had just been served, And I said it’s ten to 11 your last orders are 11 ?? She looked at her phone and realised the time and then said someone had taken the till out so we can’t serve . had to leave . Absolute piss poor service . I live local with my family and will never go back . Don’t advertise your open then move the goal posts when you want . Your a public house and your opening hours are what you advertise. Absolute joke

Visited the stagg last week, Mel on the bar was very friendly and helpful excellent service.

Had fantastic service off laura from going in the pub . There were 18 of us altogether. All the food was hot and everyone had good meal and desserts.

Place has gone downhill since Emily left and you know it. The waiter Sam was great, nothing was too much trouble. Still a banging boozer tho.

I usually come on Thirsty Thursdays for the two for one drinks and occasionally try the food. Today I ordered the mega mixed grill and was more than impressed. I will be coming again as the portion size was great. The service of the waiter Sam went above and beyond bringing knifes and forks and tasty food.

Calked in for a bite to eat on the way passed, wonderful friendly staff & a great pizza. A special shout for Lauren on bar & Will font of house, so friendly & welcoming to a new customer.

Came in for lunch while the weather was nice, food was brought quickly and tasted delicious. Atmosphere was wonderful and is great how they’re dog friendly! Ashley was lovely with a bright friendly smile on her face. Overall lovely service and would definitely come again!!

Food was fantastic , arrived hot and fresh. Service by Lauren was immaculate and very helping along the way , with a smile :) Will definately be returning , couldn’t have gone any better for me.

We went in on Saturday and got served by Ashlea. Honestly it's refreshing to be served by someone smiling and laughing. She helped make us feel welcome and we will definitely be back again soon. The food was nice the drunks were nice. All in all a lovely night out.

Don't normally review pubs but we had an amazing night here. The staff were brilliant and friendly especially Ashley who made us feel like old friends. Will definitely be back.

Called in for an early evening meal so it was quite quiet. We had never visited before and we found the staff really friendly. There was plenty to choose from on the menu, all at a really reasonable price. We ordered 2 starters, 2 meals (not from the saver menu) as well as two drinks ( large wine and a pint) and all came to £41....very reasonable!!!!. The food arrived in good time and was nice and hot and very tasty. Overall, we were very impressed and will definitely be calling in again. Thank you.

Good place to be with family and friends.

Waited a long time for the mains to be brought out cold. The starters were brought out half way through eating the mains - we had to ask 2 times when these would be coming out. Still didnt get our full order. Gravy was missed off the steak order - Steak was really fatty. Restaurant wasn’t even that busy when we came. A shame really.

We made a reservation but arrived early. The chap got us seated as quickly as possible. We ordered a fish and chips, tandoori chicken, and 2 steaks. The fish and chicken were OK. The steaks were both well done instead af medium. It was ok. The staff were very friendly.

Bar and waitressing staff very welcoming. Interior and exterior of the building was very clean. Food was very good quality

We came in a few Mondays ago, I’ve not been in for a few years, Infact decades! Wow it’s changed. We sat where the bar used to be, it’s changed so much. We came in for food, but unfortunately the kitchen was closed. The staff were having their Christmas party and, we totally understand that they chose a quiet Monday night to do it. We had a drink anyway and the staff that covered were very friendly, exchanging banter on different phrases, he was a Geordie and now I know what Mackem and Takem means, what turned into a drink whilst we were there turned in to many drinks, and bumped No into an old friend and many more drinks. We’ve booked that night for a table this weekend so hopefully we’ll still have a decent time.

Visited for dinner and the food was lovely. Lauren our server was more than helpful as well.

Mark gives us good and friendly service and makes you fill welcome.

Non badge holder parked badly in disabled bay. They park there alot. Music inside was blasting so unable to talk. Group of guys behind us loud and rowdy , one swearing and smoking e cigs. Needs chairs that disabled can get out of either really high or the seats in the arm chairs are so gone they are too low to get out of.We will not be going back. Can't say wat food is like as didn't have any. I was glad to get out.

Please keep vaping to the outside area.

Good starter bar for a friday night

Service was outstanding from Cath very helpful and polite. Very welcoming pub with lovely staff and people. Food was fresh and hot and had so much flavour. We ordered chicken fajita and pork belly with rice and chips. Would highly recommend to everyone 100%. Thank you again and we will be back

Visited today, service was excellent. Mark was superb and young man serving at the bar( apologies I didn't get his name) was very polite and friendly. Meal was served hot and delicious. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Warm quiet atmosphere and children friendly. This wasn't our first visit,but today we were part of a large group and everyone was catered for efficiently. Very disappointing, order hot drink and server forgot spoon, said she would get but never appeared. Food only just warm on all 3 meals. One server sat about talking to customers for a lot of the time?!

Massively over priced for portion size, presentation of starter was shocking. Staff not very friendly and was never asked if everything was ok with our food like all other pub/restaurants always do.

Food was very disapointing..service ok!

Me and my wife had the nachos for starters , probably the worst nachos we have ever had , basically nachos with blobs of liquid cheese , salsa and chillies. This is as the description on the menu however it does not please. Wife had chicken fajitas which was not the best. I had sausage and mash for main , sausage had no taste and had gristle in them , did not eat. Was not impressed with the food as a whole

Attended for Xmas dinner. Staff were pleasant but obviously rushed off their feet . Had to wait for a table to be cleared, got seated eventually after 3 requests. Starters were really nice (2x prawn cocktail, 1 liver pate ) Xmas dinner arrived, turkey was okay , veg was all over cooked, hardly any gravy,,Yorkshire puddings soggy , roast potatoes where shockingly poor , they had been nowhere near an oven , just dropped in a deep fat fryer several times as they where rock hard , basically a very poor roast dinner . Dessert was soggy microwaved apple pie . Staff did ask if all was ok but I didn’t want to cause a scene as they where obviously stressed and overworked. Extremely disappointed, total waste of £150 ruined our Xmas day

I had the mix grill and have never had a piece of steak so tough. The table that we reserved was filthy. And let's just say that it's not a family place with all the bad language we heard. 😞
