Absolute marvellous experience, came here on a Sunday for a family birthday. The food was all delicious and the server, Adam was exceptional, friendly, professional and he couldn’t do enough for us.. Would highly recommend and will definitely return. - Family from Sydney Australia.

Good busy basic boozer. Football on loads of screens. Range of beers including 2 or 3 real ales. Accessible toilet downstairs , beer garden at back for smokers.

just went in for tea with my grandparents and all 3 of us enjoyed the meal! 10/10 served hot and didn’t take a long time either. Service was 10/10 lovely staff very friendly!

Food is overpriced for a small portion and cold, not a good selection of lager too many teles with sport on not everyone is into sport and nowhere to sit without seeing it

Me and my son both got giant pigs in blamkets Yorkshire pud and mash it was absolutely rank sausages not cooked cheap meat full off hard bits in them cheap powdered mash horrid meal

Sorry but ignore the previous reviews regarding Christmas Day dinner. Food was lukewarm warm after waiting 3 hours for it and someone one a very lucky boy getting the “free” fizz as we never got any at all. So glad you got family and friends to post fake reviews for you

Came today for the Christmas Day meal; not something that I would usually do but with my Dad having an operation a few weeks ago he wasn’t able to do it this year. As soon as we arrived (me, my dad and my toddler) we were seated to our table, the food was incredible, the staff were all very polite and friendly. It was extremely busy but they all had a smile on their faces; personally I think it’s incredible that staff give up their day to do the job that they do (sometimes sacrificing time with their own families) to be able to provide others. My Dad has a BIG appetite and towards the end of the meal he couldn’t eat any more. I have to personally give a MASSIVE thank you to one staff member in particular Sam; she made the experience even better as she was incredible with my toddler; at his age he can get a little bit fussy at times especially in a new environment and with lots of people but she was so attentive, gave him pictures and crayons to keep him occupied and at the end of our meal give him a little selection box as a treat= my toddler was a VERY happy little boy. A MASSIVE thank you to all the staff at The Weavers Arms for making our Christmas Day as incredible as it was and the BIGGEST thank you to the cooks/chefs because the food was DELICIOUS. 100% recommend!! Thank you again guys 😊

Excellent pub, loved the atmosphere. There's a smoking garden outside. Also quite near the pub is a large car park and 60 min parking at the side of the pub. We will visit again.

My self ,wife and 18yr old granddaughter called in today for lunch i had all day breakfast, wife had the fish baguette, granddaughter had mac n cheese all the food was ok BUT the length of time we had to wait was unacceptable of over 1 hour with not even an apology sorry but wont be using weavers again.

Good atmosphere with friendly staff and good food. Good selection of drinks and reasonably priced. Parking is possible within a couple of minutes walk. Plenty of screens to watch sports etc. wheelchair access possible. Toilets are upstairs but are kept clean.

Slow food service and was not that busy waited nearly an hour for 3 simple meals

Came in for lunch as we have done many times in the past. Ordered our meals and disappointingly had to wait 50 minutes for our meals to arrive despite not being too busy. Unfortunately, some of the food wasn't hot but barely lukewarm and it was clear that some of it sat on the side for a while before coming down. In that time we saw only 1 meal come out. If there was a delay we should have really been informed as we wouldn't have minded waiting but instead we heard "it'll come down when it'll come down". It's not exactly the bar staff's fault but the kitchen who's preparing the meals but there should be better communication.

Two of us went for lunch yesterday, the staff made us feel so welcome when we arrived. the food was lovely, the pub was reasonably busy and our food still come in good time wasn't a long wait (which is great), staff check on us at table and are very happy to help, I will definitely be returning

Weavers Arms is a great public house, staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. Food is great and it's a great place to meet and have a good catch up and laugh.

I come in quite often for food with my children great atmosphere family friendly always make a fuss over the children food is delicious and affordable. Will definitely recommend staff are lovely.

Lovely bar. Was over for the weekend from Belfast and was able to book a table for food and to watch the football. All staff very friendly and helpful and the toilets are absolutely immaculate, I was amazing, the cleanest toilets in a bar ever. Would definitely recommend

Happy all round with this place. Everything was good just not excellent. Wanted to try something other than the local spoons. Slightly more expensive here but only just. Gorgeous little gem. The service is perfect, the servers are ever so nice. The food was a solid 9.5/10. The drinks selection is fab.

Great place (our local) the staff and especially the manager nothing is too much trouble. Cheap and cheerful pub grub and great atmosphere especially for sports. Food is amazing and always looked after.

Very tasty food for very good prices. Waiters/Waitresses are pleasant and will resolve any issues you may have. Regular sports events too. When busy, waiting times can become a little long but definitely nothing extreme. Would definitely recommend especially for families

Well,having been clearly ripped off in London recently it was with some reluctance that we agreed to a four course beujolais evening with friends. We should not have concerned ourselves. We had a quite lovely evening. The restaurant was understandably packed. We received quite brilliant service from enthusiastic and well trained staff. The sommelier was so knowledgeable. The food was quite brilliant. The most delicious French onion soup, piping hot. Steak frites, the steak melted in the mouth.. crème brûlée or poached pears …yummy and a spectacular cheese board. A bottle of well chosen wines with each course….save for a generous glass of pudding wine with desert. This was a quite superb experience…we shall most definately return. Thank you so much .

Usually do not have a problem eating here food is always good service is good too however just been for lunch (three of us ) and workmen was in doing jobs banging drilling sanding .this made us feel really uncomfortable and couldn't be heard talking to each other .surely these kind of jobs should be done when the place is closed

I would like to say the service we was provided by the staff Ben was incredible. Came for food as a support worker and the compassion and accommodation he provided was amazing. Making sure the sound was at a right level and even offering to turn on a bigger TV when noticing the person I support was enjoying the small one. Kept checking everything was fine, need more people like Ben!

Came here on Saturday to watch the rugby what a day, looked after from the start the atmosphere was amazing all screens showing the rugby for the town yet people moaning England football couldn’t be shown due to the sheer volume of people wanting the rugby which is massive for the town, it was one day us leigh fans wanted. other pubs trying their best to damage a business for no reason all because a pub is doing well, this pub is doing amazing and allows children in which is amazing so they can be involved in the towns success some people need to grow up.

Booked a table in advance and requested a table by a tv for the England game, which kicked off at 10.30. Arrived at 10am and every tv was showing golf, despite the game starting soon. Explained that we’d booked a table and was told to “just sit anywhere”. Asked if the game would be shown and was told that she would request the big screen to be turned on. Sat at a table and waited a few minutes for the screen, which wasn’t turned on. Asked at the bar and the man serving said “I’ll do it when the queue has gone down”. The pub was heaving with sports fans waiting for the rugby, which didn’t begin until 2pm. I’m hugely disappointed that a sports bar had taken such an outdated and frankly discriminative approach to the women’s World Cup. To be told to wait for the queue to disperse before the screen could be turned on was ridiculous, the queue was not going down any time soon with one person on the bar and a constant flow of sports fans coming through the door. The place was clearly too busy and understaffed ahead of the rugby, which I understand is a big sport for the town, but there was plenty of time to show the football before the rugby began. I had specifically requested a table for the World Cup game, which had obviously been ignored. This is a terrible example to set for the pub, and I will not be returning.

Came in for breakfast Saturday very busy due to leigh playing rugby so we understand there would be a wait for food but have to say it came out piping hot, very helpful staff drinks brought to our table watched the england game whilst we waited for the rugby to start - roll on august when the football starts this is my new home for sport

This pub is great for sports food and drinks, very clean and tidy well managed and looked after. Bring back some entertainment for us leigh folk to enjoy

Came with family really glad we did the staff and management here go out their way to make sure your looked after can’t wait for the football season this is deffo the place to be!!!!!!!!! Fantastic choice of real ales and a beer garden which is something else.

Kept passing this place and saw a couple of beer reviews on untapped Unfortunately when we did get in wasn't good dirty tables food and rubbish on floor in places (not like they were busy Sunday 6pm about ten people in) music way to loud for normal conversation and to cap it all one of my all time favourite beers was on and it was terrible to cold ( its not lager ) no head badly Kept.. coachouse the brewer would be appalled .. if its your kind if thing good luck .. nit for us

The place to be for sport I’m sorry but no other pub in leigh can beat this, very clean place, staff always at hand to help new guest ales plenty of TVs excellent food. Amazing what can happen under new management keep it up guys.

went in here last night for a couple of drinks.It was very quite when we got in at about 7.15 and not a single bar staff behind bar one of the bar staff eventually arrived to serve the other one does more talking to her work colleagues than doing what she is supposed to be doing always messing with her phone

Ordered food at the bar, the barmaid was too busy looking for her glasses so she could see the menu. I pointed to what I wanted and ended up with the wrong order. The waiter went to sort it, my wife, who is diabetic and suffers from anxiety, left the premises as the problem had upset her. On coming back to tbe table, she heard the barmaid saying that the food is what I had ordered. I told the barmaid that she should have listened properly to what I had ordered. My wife went to bar demanding a refund and only received a refund for her food. Went in hungry, came out hungry, wont be going again

Always come for breakfast for about 2-3 years the last 3 times we have walked out due to no white bread...the lady manager is so miserable and doesn't even apologise.....shes rude and we feel so uncomfortable around her ...won't be visiting g again soon.......

Always a pleasure to eat here. The food is lovely. The staff are so polite and super helpful. I love the guest cask ales, the breakfasts are outstanding. Great atmosphere and can’t praise the bar staff and the table staff highly enough. Highly highly recommended for both food and sports, plenty tv’s so you can always get a decent view and staff will always change any of the booth tv’s to another channel if you ask them to.

went in here for a couple of drink only stayed for one as there was no heating on a young lady asked could they put it on and they did 5minutes after it started to warm up they turned it off again because the bar staff was to warm people where walking out us included we go in every friday evening if no heating on next week we won’t even be buying a drink

Friendly pub. Many of the clientele are regulars and very pleasant. Staff are all cheerful and polite. Prices are low for a town centre pub.
