Great place the Lion. Staff are brill. Atmosphere chilled. Downside on last visit was the 3 coke heads sat next to us busy passing stuff under the table and running off to the toilet all the time, coming back with a terrible cold. Nip this in the bud and will be even better

Our go to pub for a girls night out in Stockton Heath! The staff and landlady are very welcoming and always take time out to ask how we are and check we are having a good night. The pub has a great atmosphere, always feels safe and we have never had a bad meal! Fully recommend!

We recently held a private 40/50 person event in the Bridgewater Room of the London Bridge; The room size was perfect, allowing those who wanted to sit or those who want to circulate to do so, thus creating a good atmosphere. The use of the outside area was also a plus. We arrived slightly earlier than the booked time but this did not disturb or panic the staff they handled the situation smoothly We ordered the buffet of sandwiches and chips for our guests and they were perfect - a varied selection of sandwiches and ‘yummy’ chips: Our guests complimented the food. The staffs who were carrying out their duties of serving, refilling, clearing etc. were efficient, polite and discreet. I cannot praise the London Bridge and its staff enough their professionalism, competence, courteousness and well organised aptitudes. We have been here so many times and loved it, celebrating many a special occasion but our last visit for lunch I don’t know what went wrong. 1pm on a sunny Saturday I’d expect it to be bustling but there was only one table occupied. We sat out the back as it was a beautiful day but the outside was untidy and unclean. All the staff during our very short visit were just sat around on their phones. We were served very a limp, tasteless panini that we couldn’t even finish with brown turning lettuce on the side. If I wanted a disappointing lunch I would have had lunch at home!

Went in to get a travel mug, priced at 13.50 on the shelf and the till wanted to charge me 14. Not a big deal but staff said they can’t adjust. 1 star just to get them to notice this and check their pricing and make sure that their on floor pricing matches the till pricing.

Very attentive staff, nice experience. Yes some rooms are dated, but it that a major deal? Very clean, attention to detail. Staff were a credit, Welcoming and had excellence in customer service. Worked as a team & brought atmosphere. I manage a large hospitality residence, so I appreciated their service. Last minute Wowcher break and was great value. Appreciate these people Best Western Hotels ... as they are few & far between in the current market! Deserves at least a 4 star rating on Google, what do people want for the money they pay? The Jumeirah in Dubai? 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
