The Red Lion in Warrington

Great place the Lion. Staff are brill. Atmosphere chilled. Downside on last visit was the 3 coke heads sat next to us busy passing stuff under the table and running off to the toilet all the time, coming back with a terrible cold. Nip this in the bud and will be even better

A traditional pub with friendly staff... big rear beer garden with lots of seating and tv screens

Go here quite often with my father at the end of our frequent walks. It's rather friendly, th only downside is the interior is a bit worn. Overall, good quality drinks and nice staff.

Food was great, had a sizzling chicken grill which was lovely, food was served quick and staff were friendly.

Lovely little pub,nice staff but they don't do food. But they do have bar codes on the tables where you can scan and have food delivered to your table from local eateries.

Nice little boozer good ales on nice beer garden for good weather if we ever get any but it is heated shelter aswell 😀

Definitely a locals beer bar at the weekend. Toilets remind me of the film trainspotting! Disgusting. Broken seat, smashed door lock. Don't let the kids use the loo! Urine everywhere. Find another pub.

Good pub with decent beers It isn’t dog friendly despite what the reviews say, there’s one tiny area with about two tables crammed in that’s dog friendly. Dogs aren’t allowed in the rest of the pub

My dad's dad used to call time in this pub along time ago. I REALLY DO WISH THAT THEY WOULD RELOCATE THE OUT THE WAY PLEASE!!!! IES HORRIBLE TOILETS! Nothings worse on a game.. MOVE YOU

Always a good night out , friendly staff

Decided to pop in for a quick half as we were early for a meal. I’d always wanted to try this pub. As soon as we walked in a group of regulars did everything they could to make us feel uncomfortable. I found out later this place is know for it, I can’t imagine the custom they must lose because of these idiots.

A local pub for local people. If you do manage to breach the human barricade of locals constantly standing at the bar you will be rewarded with a very decent pint of Guinness.

Really pleasant staff, a good choice of food and drink.

Popped in for a pint whilst waiting on food. The staff were welcoming from the off and the other customers were having a bit of 'banter' with the staff and others. The place was clean and tidy and there was football been shown on a number of screens (sound not to loud). There was also a snug area along with an under cover, well lit beer garden.

Reasonable prices and cheerful staff then throw in lots of local colourful characters but lots of space to sit if you want quiet time with your special one 😉

Very nice pub with a lovely outdoor area. A nice place to take the kids during the day as they have lots of grass to run around on and plenty of sheltered tables for us adults to keep an eye on them

Service is ridiculously slow. Took me 45 minutes to get serviced.

Warm Prosecco not impressed- queue to bar is too long to raise the issue very disappointed- who wants or accepts warm Prosecco

Place and beer good bar staff poorly trained and more interested in chatting with pals than serving customers. A shame its a good pub (manager/owner please give your staff a shake up).

Dog friendly pub, retained most of it's old character despite a refurb Bit expensive Shame they turned what was a lovely bowling green into a poor attempt at a beer garden

Desperately needs decent cider , would visit more often

Had my 65th birthday get together there last week on the Bowling green. Live music, Band then a Singer. Social distancing was no problem. Great to see friends and well looked after.

Great friendly local that is succeeding in adapting very well to all the restrictions.

Sad without the bowls green. But they are up and serving beer. And the bowling green does make a lovely drinking space.

Excellent... they really have social distancing sorted... the bowling green with margues are being used for customers.. . staff amazing... dog friendly with staff interacting with them and providing doggy treats..

Nice family pub. Sizzle inn food. Included in the AA App discount benefits if you are a member. I think it's 20 % off food and drinks if you tell them before ordering and present your AS card or App code. Great food and a play area/ ball pit and slides for the children. Plus shops next door and near bye, which is handy.

Excellent, village centre, multi—roomed pub with bowling green to the rear, Thwaites pub, good selection or their beers

Not a place I particularly like. There's no upholstered seating or carpets, so the noise is deafening. The ladies toilets are disgusting. Door locks smashed off, dirty walls and sinks. The radiator must be a health hazard it's directly below the hand dryer which has caused a black layer of bacteria. There's better places to go to.
