We went there for a family meal out this evening. We had a brilliant time there as always. The food is just delicious, the staff are friendly and attentive and there's a great vibe- particularly on the balcony, at this time of the year. I highly recommend!

Just returned from an absolutely unreal meal here at la turka the service from this place is honestly something else. They cannot do enough for you. They are so helpful and kind and made the experience fantastic for my daughter 21st birthday meal. The food was amazing and everyone was impressed with the whole atmosphere. I rang the day before concerned about the distance I needed to drive with a fresh cream birthday cake and they allowed me to drop it off straight from the bakery that day and they stored it in the fridge. I took the cake decorations and banners and balloons and when we got there the following day they had set it all up for us ! Then when it came time for the cake they gave a standing happy birthday with big sparklers and everything. I would 100% recommend here. Then to end we got the bill and there was 40% off. UNREAL. What an amazing place x

I’m local to ala turka work few doors away. Myself and husband who live in Stockton heath decided to go last minute. Was honestly the nicest meal, best entertainment, the customer service was 2nd to none. We had one best evenings. Bravo bravo WHY haven’t we gone more ? Just gorgeous. Thanks for looking after us. X

This is our go to venue for any occasion. They can’t do enough for you. Nikko is the perfect host and goes out of his way every single visit, he never stops and you can see how he leads the team. Never had a bad meal at Al la Turka and have been coming here for many years. Great food, attentive staff and a great atmosphere. Always a warm welcome from the restaurant manager who goes out of his way to make sure you have the best experience.

The restaurant itself is lovely and the service is okay. The food however was really really poor. Had the roast and it was so tough and didn't have any flavour. Really disappointed. Sister had some of the Turkish food and she found that it was just okay (chicken iskender).

We had a lovely meal and service was great , food beautiful, people were lovely! BUT THE ONLY THING WHICH IS A MAJOR POINT IS THERE ARE NO TOILETS FOR DISABLED PEOPLE! we had to leave after our meal to go to a local pub to use their facilities! Which did mean the restaurant lost out on us buying more drinks which the pub benefited on as we purchased drinks there ! ALSO I HAD TO GO AROUND THE BACK OF THE BUILDING TO GET INTO THE RESTAURANT USING A VERY DIRTY LIFT AND THE AREA WASN'T VERY CLEAN EITHER! SUCH shame because the restaurant is lovely and food !

Oh Wow. We went last night, not been for ages and it was brilliant! Food was epic ... we shared a hummous to start and had the mixed grill feast for 2. Food was plentiful, we are having left overs for lunch! Flavours were wonderful. Great service and surroundings.

We had a gorgeous meal last Thursday and the bonus is that it's 50% off during January. We shared a lamb and chicken kebab, had some sides and hummus and our food was cooked to perfection. The tastes are great and the service is brilliant. The team are so warm and friendly, they really do go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your experience and love the food. Thank you so much 👍

We have just been to A La Turka for my stepsons birthday and we had a fab time. The service was brilliant from the moment we walked in to the time we were leaving. Jesus our waiter was brilliant with my son, he was really friendly and very helpful. We ordered the meat feast platter for two and pizza, the food was gorgeous. The meat was lovely and it was 30% off which helped it to taste even nicer :). The birthday cake, candles and singing were a great treat and much appreciated. I would definitely recommend a meal here, we had a great time!!

Pre booked a table for 5 online for our sons 21st. We were greeted with smile and given a choice of tables. Got given menus and ordered drinks which arrived promptly. We all ordered different meals which were served after around 15/20 minutes. All the meals were cooked to perfection and generous portions. After the meals the staff made a big Happy Birthday fuss of our son and served him a small cake with a candle in it. Overall it was a lovely experience and would highly recommend A la Turk.

It’s been around five years since I last visited, I wasn’t impressed then and I wasn’t impressed tonight. My friend and I went because they had an offer for 40% off. We were seated at a table at the end of the terrace where they seemed to forget about us. We had to ask for our drinks many many times, our starters came within 15 minutes so it seemed promising but they took a good 20 minutes to clear our plates once we finished. We then waited another hour before asking where our mains were, the waitress with some attitude decided to tell us we haven’t waited an hour. The food then came within five minutes. My friends lamb kebab was chewy, the mixed grill was okay. I wouldn’t be happy to pay full price. Won’t be returning. Disappointed

Last time I was here was a Christmas Party…no alcohol this time but we sat outside on the upstairs terrace and had a nice lunch. Lots to choose from and went for a selection of Tapas dishes (4 for £12!). Others had the Chicken Kebab and Curry which looked v’air nice. Overall a good lunch and very good value!

Excellent restaurant with good menu, always aim to please, with passionate people and service, so helpful always making your visit feel special.

Our booking couldn’t be found and rather than try and sort the issue, they just looked at us until I suggested we have one of the many empty tables. We were then left for a very long time until our order was taken, then the food took ages to come. All in all, we were at the table for 1 hour and 15 minutes before the food came. When the food finally arrived, it was…fine. Edible but nothing special. All in all, a very mediocre night with expensive prices. Some advice for the staff would be to stop grimacing and generally be more attentive to the people paying for their service. Just a thought. I wouldn’t go back.

We went in yesterday to a fairly empty restaurant.. we had been here at Christmas and had a great experience so wanted to return … Asked for a table for two for me and my friend … he made us feel like a total inconvenience going in … he then said he didn’t know where he would seat us … 🤷🏻‍♀️ I then said there seems to be a lot of space he then said no .. walked behind the bar and told us to leave … a real shame … definitely in the wrong job .. we went over the road and had a great meal … that restaurant was packed … I think that speaks volumes …

The food was good but the attitude and manner of the waiter serving us was terrible.( looked and sounded like he was doing us a favour just being there) We took two relatives from Australia who were visiting and 6 family members. My wife called back in a few days later to complain and the same waiter was in. He began shouting and calling her a racist. He would take no responsibility for his poor service. If the owner reads this you have a real problem with this guy. God forbid he is the actual owner, hopefully not! We would never step in the place again and I myself intend to find out who the owner is and see if his attitude is different. Be warned People!

Me and a friend went to A la Turka last minute. A table was available at 8:30. We shared a calamari starter which was really good. I ordered the vegetable mussaka and my friend ordered the lamb kabab. The lamb was tough as boot leather and was left. The mussaka was really chopped vegetable in tomato sauce with cheese on top. In short very disappointing not value for money and I won’t go there again

Poor Quality Meats very overpriced and a 10% service charge ! When you ask for the bill they bring the card machine and stand waiting so you don't get chance to read the bill till they've gone. Would never visit again.
