Dodgy as hell this place, they promote them selfs on Uber as “twisted burgers” even though it’s clearly not! They like to accept your order wait an hour and then just cancel it for no reason.. avoid

Great cafe with friendly staff and volunteers, and tasty food. Always a good atmosphere. There is a play area for kids, and they sometimes have volunteers running activities and crafts for the children. They have a selection of books to borrow or read at your table. It's a great place to come socially, or to do a bit of work with a coffee.

Well kept real ale. There was background music playing which didn't suit our ability to have a conversation otherwise we would have stopped longer.

An outstanding restaurant: great reception, friendly efficient service and some of the best Indian food I ever tasted, including visits to India north and south. A glitch with the booking time was rapidly resolved and drinks were on the house. Really looking forward to going back there again.

I don’t often do reviews, but the Turkish Bistro at Poynton really does deserve one. I booked a table for a special occasion for a larger group and from the initial booking, deciding what to serve the party was effortless and the advice shared was gratefully received on deciding on a perfect menu for all . On the night of the occasion , the service was exceptional , efficient and friendly , everyone remarked on how delicious the food was. Thank you everyone for making the special occasion perfect 👌🏼

Staff act like they don’t want you there. Walked in and waited a few seconds to be greeted. Never happened (3 members of staff all behind the counter). Sat down on a table and grabbed ourselves menus, looked through for 5 mins. Still not acknowledged or greeted. Went to the till and ordered, the only bit of conversation received was “eat in or take out”. In such a manner I felt they might be closing soon and may be annoyed that we’ve come in close to closing time. So I asked what time they close the girl said 10pm. It was 8:30pm. So I chose to eat in. The food was brought to us and the person walked away as fast as possible without even asking if we needed anything else or wanted to order drinks. Honestly agree with the other 1 star reviews this place isn’t going to last long at all if the staff have this mentality and approach

My reason for this score is small portion. I have ordered 2 naans and still wasn't enough for everyone to eat. Food was good is jut not enough couple peaces of meat and just souce. I have spend £40 and family is still hungry.

Visited last night for a few drinks and something to eat and I honestly don't think I will be going anywhere else ever again! Never been to the white hart before so I did ask a lot of questions when being served at the bar but the two young bar staff, Sophie and Danica (I think that's how you spell her name, I'm sorry if it's wrong!!) answered all my questions and honestly couldn't of been any more help! I ordered the salt and pepper chicken and my god, who needs a Chinese takeaway when you can come to the pub for it?! What a lovely dish! Thank you for looking after me tonight girls and I shall be back very soon!

Fab experience, came for daughter’s birthdays. Food was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Lots of happy smiley staff. Will definitely come again xxx
