Bar none, the best around, been around 5 times now and it never disappoints, me and my partner love it here, so tasty and different from the normal indian fayre in most restaurants! Taste sensation, if youve not been here, GO but not on a Friday night please as thats when we go, and its not that big! 🤣🥰

Average food with very high price!! Manager shouts on staff at least 4 to 5 times we notice in front of the guests.. Feel very bad for those students working here… Should have more professional one to one talk…

Amazing experience!!! We discovered this by reviews online, and would definitely recommend back!! The food was delicious, and the servers lovely, easy visit in Cheadle as it’s next to a free after 6pm car park!! Highly recommend!

Went in for some food as was passing by. Had eaten there before, but hd not been there for a while. It was just as awesome as before. Made me feel like I was eating at home with my mum cooking. Harsha Reddy was so helpful and attentive. Go - if you want authenticity and taste and a great team

Excellent authentic taste and healthy cooking method. Only restaurant in Manchester that did not hit my tummy badly among those I tried so far. Feels like home food. You get a Home made south Indian food taste which is simple and tasty. North Indian options are also there which are equally good.. All in all this is pure unadulterated Indian. It won't disappoint..

My wife and I enjoyed the grazing platter. I also tried the thali and my wife, the masala dosa. The dosa didn’t have a lot of filling which was a shame, otherwise flavour was good. The sambhar and coconut chutney portion was also very small. My non-veg thali was a veg thali with one meat option. There were extras that you wouldn’t find in the standard thali but they were so small & basic that it didn’t justify the higher price. My only complaint was the food didn’t come out together. For a restaurant, this isn’t good service.

The food was nice but the portion size was a joke. Have never seen such tiny pots for chutneys, there was barely enough for 1 poppadom. About 20 chips in a portion. The chicken tikka kebab was nice.

The food is very good. Booking well in advance is thus recommended at busy times. Alternatively come early doors when seating is easy. Came with Albrecht today ( July 2023). He is over from Bamburg. The serving staff will happily explain the menu to those needing guidance. We have tried most items and never been disappointed. The restaurant is small as are the tables but it all adds to the atmosphere. Having said that..we tend to go elsewhere for more room. Cheadle has a lot of choice. Small bottles of Kingfisher or Cobra at £3.95 is OTT. ( no draft beers.) Love the goat keema pav and the gobi Manchurian is the best! Chilli chicken pretty damn good. When busy you might need to queue for the one all singing and dancing toilet.

An unpretentious and unassuming restaurant with some of the finest flavours that we give ever tasted in Indian street food in the UK, and actually better than a lot in Asia. The Goat Keema Pav was superb. Excellent service by delightful and helpful staff. Hugely recommended.

We have been visiting the Indian Tiffin Room regularly since it opened 10 years ago. The level of service is exceptional, nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. They are all friendly and polite. The food is the best Indian around. The fishers are always full of flavour and very tasty. Definitely worth a visit

Fantastic meal and excellent service, the waiter given us the famous Indian street food recommendations and they was all spot on- it is a small restaurant but the staff couldn’t do enough for you.

This truly is the best Indian dining experience we’ve had as a family. The most delicious dosas and sev puris you’ll ever have. If you want exceptional, traditional Indian street food, this is the place to go. The staff are just lovely, respectful and attentive. Just love it.

Lovely little restaurant, with a really interesting & varied menu

Loved the cosy atmosphere and some people say it needs to be bigger but I think that would take away the personal touch, the food was insane. Every bite was delicious! And I've tried things I wouldn't normally, traditional and delightful restaurant. Personal touch, and felt authentic 😊

Amazing! Booked at 1pm today. Seated with parents at 7pm. Very kind staff moved us so parents would feel warmer. And then the food. Wow, really fabulous. Spiced to perfection, tender and succulent. Of course, mums lamb chops are better. Will be back soon. Thank you 😊

We turned up on a Saturday evening with no reservation. They very kindly found us a table and squeezed us in. They were very friendly and welcoming. The food came reasonably quickly and tasted lovely. Good flavour. The menu is very limited, but it is a street food restaurant. No popadoms unfortunately. All in all a good find, as we were just passing through on our way home from Manchester after a band recording session. If we are up that way again we will definitely pop in again.

Visited this evening for dinner. Opening of our fast. Explained the situation to the waiter asking if we could Order but request the food is delayed until fasting opens.ITR Leeds obliged and bought our starters and drink bang on time for fast opening (which was 25 mins after we ordered) and the mains arrived 20 mins after wards piping hot. They really looked after us. The table next to us, the patrons were also fasting. They were served with the same efficiency. Perfect service and the food was EXCELLENT

We did not had a reservation but the staff were very happy to accommodate us. Authentic and delicious Indian food. Staff very attentive. We will visit again if in Manchester. Highly recommend!!

We usually eat in at ITR Cheadle when we’re in Stockport but circumstances meant we went for the takeaway option this time. The food is unfailingly good when you eat there and the takeaway absolutely lived up to expectations - the food was superb. And the meal was ready at exactly the time I’d asked for. They’re great people and offer a great service.

A beautiful Little hidden gem in Cheadle village. We ate here for the very first time and I can honestly say this has been the nicest Indian street food we have had in a very long time! Tasted so fresh and full of flavour it didn’t disappoint! We will certainly be coming again! Also the service was lovely and warm and we were very well taken care of. Great little restaurant. Fab is really good and service is spot on and reasonably priced.

Small venue but oh boy is the food delish. First time going and highly enjoyable. Was there with a couple friends and the waiter really helped us out choosing from the menu. Make sure to try the Dahi Puri as a starter. Overall, excellent food, really friendly staff and just across from a car park for easy parking.

Good meal though thought it was pricy for the size of the portions. But family enjoyed the meal, nice vibe to the place and friendly staff.

Food is good ,but they take 10 pounds for service charges named as standard , and the top of that, on the payment receipt they mentioned that service charge not included. I must say 10 pound is too much in the name of service charge named Standard

Outstanding service, delicious food and reasonably priced. Manish and Shyans both provided fantastic service on both occasions all dishes were presented of a high standard and absolute delicious. A restaurant that is a must and if your ever thinking of going for an Indian, Indian Tiffin rooms would always be my first recommendation, booking is a must.

We ordered a takeaway tonight, having eaten in the restaurant before. Appreciate the tenderness of the meat and the overall quality, but both curries we ordered were incredibly salty, especially the lamb dish. If we'd been eating in we would have returned them. I actually don't mind a bit of extra salt, but even for me this was too much. Given the amount paid, I can't say it offers the best value for money. The search for a really decent Indian takeaway in South Manchester goes on.

Nice and delicious food..i like briyani much friendly staff

ITR is a serious find. A small high quality Indian cafe with a tight but always excellent menu. Highlights are the biryani, Dhosa, and don’t miss the chicken lollipops! Service is good and quick, food is authentic and tasty and you will not leave hungry. It’s a cafe type place, so tables are close and it’s hot and noisy, but no one kicks you out. Enjoy if you get the chance.

Great Indian street food, lots of options veggie, hot, cold, lots of items to share. The Vada Pav was really tasty and came with a couple of dips. Chilli paneer lovely. Chicken Vishaka was rich and fiery. Staff were very friendly and attentive. They even have their own beer, a pale ale and lager.

Booked ahead as this place is usually busy. However, It was quiet on this Friday eve in August. I hope its just because of the holidays. The food was delicious. We ordered several small dishes between 4 of us and one main - chicken biriyani. We were full so took that home with us. Service is friendly and efficient. Food quality still top notch. I hope it gets busier again in order to keep going.. But not so busy I can't get a table 😁

Oh my goodness what an incredible restaurant. The food is 10/10 and so is the service. Harsha was our waiter and he was so dedicated to ensuring our experience was perfect. We asked for a recommendation starter (between 4 of us) and it was PERFECT. The food is so obviously fresh and cooked to perfection. Cannot fault this exquisite restaurant. All I can say is outstanding the food is well worth this 5 stars if I could give it move I would at first I wasn't sure how it worked but the head waiter came over and explained everything and the amazing food was endless so was the politeness of staff we went as a group of 4 and all enjoyed what we ordered to share the chilli chicken just wow 👏 I also ordered the butter chicken and that was stunning I could go on and on about this place but if you are thinking of going you will not be disappointed keep up the amazing work

To sum up the review of Indian Tiffin room :too spicy, too little quantity and too much price. This is my 4th and final order from Indian tiffin room. Will never order again. Really not worth the price. Please don't regret spending your money.

Honestly, the best Indian food I've ever had. Every dish is unique and mouth watering. Our waiter for the evening was obliging and happily recommended a perfect selection of starters, as we wanted everything and could not come to a reasonable decision. Would definitely recommend.

It’s not authentic Indian food and moreover the manager is very rude. Totally not worth it. I’d rather travel to India to get the best experience. Don’t be fooled by the ratings they are paid reviews. Ignore this place.

Great restaurant, I think the food is excellent, the flavours are just great, my absolute favourite is the Dhaba style chicken closely followed by the Lamb Kashmiri, as long as we haven't eaten too many of the fabulous starters. Staff are great, we do go to the Manchester restaurant but Cheadle as it is smaller is far better dining experience. Book to avoid disappointment

Got to try this place if you like Indian food. The starters and curries are amazing and the Peshwari naan was the best I've ever had.

If I could give less stars I would. Possibly one of the worst experiences I have had in any restaurant in my life. SERVICE: Staff were rude, took a significant amount of time to even take our drinks orders (which took 30 minutes to arrive and orders were incorrect), food arrived late AND instructions were not followed. The restaurant was also extremely hot with very little ventilation i.e. no air conditioning. FOOD: I have had my fair share of Indian food and I know for a fact this was not good. We ordered a range of food (Butter chicken, Nihari, lamb chops, curry) and all were bland, tasteless and unenjoyable. This is also ignoring the fact that the food took over 45 minutes to arrive. To make matters worse of this terrible experience, we found HAIRS in our food and in the dessert (which was provided for free since we found a hair in the food!). We let the waiters / staff know about our grievances and nothing was done to rectify. Our total bill was £290. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE! ABSOLUTELY AWFUL PLACE!

Appalling service. A lot of what we ordered didn’t arrive and we ended up repeating the orders several times. There was a hair in the dessert and when this was pointed out no apology was given but the issue dismissed. The place was claustrophobic and it felt very hot and stuffy. Really disappointed!!

Excellent place for authentic Indian food, varying types of food from street food to classic dishes. Portion sizes are generous and will please many people who visit. Highly advise booking a table as can get very busy at prime times, and this is only a small establishment with not too many tables. Highly recommend visiting if you are looking for some good food at good prices.

Great service and atmosphere. Managed to accommodate a group of 5 without a booking. All dishes tasted authentic although the Chicken Biryani was a little plain.
