Very friendly staff and beautifully cooked food in particular the Highway Chicken Tikka which was excellent !

Had a lovely evening with a group of work friends. Food was amazing and the waiter got us mix starters which went down very well. Dosa and curry’s were good too. Would recommend sweet lassi if you haven’t tried before. Thank you!

Love this place. Excellent and delicious Indian street food. Pleasant staff. Reasonably priced. No criticisms at all apart from a very minor gripe - it’s quite small and can get a bit hot, so leave your poncho at home.

Chicken Biryani was dry and lacked flavour.

I had a great lamb thali here (was not on the menu, but they accommodated). I asked for the curry to be spicy and they delivered - not holding back, which I like. The thali also came with daal, potatoes, raita, pickled onions, a small dessert and one lollipop wing (which was delicious). The star of the meal was the flat bread. It came puffed and scalding hot, as it cooled, it collapsed into a wonderful soft vehicle for snatching up pits of lamb and lentils. There were also nice crispy bits around the edges. Service was great as well - friendly and attentive. All around a top notch first meal in a town I had never visited before.

After a 5 hour drive, stopped here with my boss for a late dinner. Food was delicious with so many choices on the menu that we would happily have chose. My samosa starter and lamb curry main were excellent although perhaps slightly hotter than expected. Service was good and would definitely make a return visit if in the area again.

Bar none, the best around, been around 10 times now and it never disappoints, me and my partner love it here, so tasty and different from the normal indian fayre in most restaurants! Taste sensation, if youve not been here, GO but not on a Friday night please as thats when we go, and its not that big! 🤣🥰

Me and my friend decided we would just pop in and see if they had room for us. Luckily, they did and the food was amazing and reasonably priced. The staff were very kind and even took the time to come and speak with us about the restaurant and there other sites. I will definitely be back.

Being a fanatic Paneer fan I ordered Chilli Paneer, Palak paneer and Garlic naan from this place as the reviews looked great. But after the food arrived and tasting this I would rate them 1 out of 5. The palak paneer was tasteless with a lot of Garam Masala. They need to pipe down on this and make sure people can taste other spices aswell. The chilli paneer was bland and a bit chewy. Garlic naan was a bit burnt but could have passed if other dishes were up to standard. I might have caught them on the wrong day, and also got my food delivered, but experience might have been better if I had gone to the restaurant. I wouldn't recommend it but try at your own expense.

Lovely restaurant. We have been here twice now and both times the food has been really nice. The flavours in the food complement each other. It is a little spicy, but not overpowering and you can still taste everything you’re eating. I would definitely recommend and will be going back.

The food was very bad. It was smelling so bad we couldn't eat at all. Had to throw away all of it. I won't recommend anyone to have food from here.

Food Is absolutely superb. This is not your normal Indian curry house, this is a exquisitely presented and the flavours are fantastic. This is a highly recommended restaurant but be prepared you will need to plan ahead as it is hard to get in spontaneously. You definitely need to book a table.

I tried Pav Bhaji, Tibetan Schezwan Momos, Dahi Puri, and Medu Vada. The Dahi Puri was fine, quite average. However, the Momos and Pav Bhaji were just brilliant. Frankly, I haven't had such an amazing Pav Bhaji ever in the UK. Will surely go again for the Pav Bhaji. Also, there is a parking lot just opposite to the place.

Been dining at ITR for years at their Manchester City Centre restaurant and the consistency in the food at this branch too is amazing! I love their chicken biryani that comes with a whole chicken leg marinated in spices and cooked low and slow till juicy and tender. Rice is well seasoned and aromatic too. By no means it's cooked the traditional way or we would be waiting for hours, but the end result is still delicious! I'm always surprised how I manage to finish the whole pot of that biryani! This restaurant is small with tight spaces as compared to the city centre branch. However, the service is prompt despite being fully packed, and food delicious!

Utterly disappointed ordered the Lamb laal Maas, instead I got a container with 98% sauce and 2% trace meat! Insane! I expected better, plus the curry isn't really flavoured through the meat, so likely meat cubes added to sauce upon ordering.

Consistently good food and great staff

A small branch in Cheadle but the menu, taste of food, and service are as good as in Leeds or Manchester. Loved going here as I always love visiting Indian Tiffin Room and having their delicious food.

Wasn't expecting to get a bread roll with the goat keema, thought it would be traditional Indian bread.

Came here with friends. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is lovely and the food is unreal, I literally wanted to try everything on the menu. Went for the non veg Thali. Wow. So many different flavours, all very tasty. Big portions. Also very reasonably priced.

Amazing experience!!! We discovered this by reviews online, and would definitely recommend back!! The food was delicious, and the servers lovely, easy visit in Cheadle as it’s next to a free after 6pm car park!! Highly recommend!

Went in for some food as was passing by. Had eaten there before, but hd not been there for a while. It was just as awesome as before. Made me feel like I was eating at home with my mum cooking. Harsha Reddy was so helpful and attentive. Go - if you want authenticity and taste and a great team

I am absolutely disgusted with the quality of the food delivered it is completly false advertising. There was no salad with the starter and the oicture clearly states salad and the chicken tikka kebab was six pieces of chilcken in a plastic tub with a handful of onion. £26 for absolutely nothing... rang restaurant and he told me they do serve the salad for take aways and refused to take back my order.

Excellent authentic taste and healthy cooking method. Only restaurant in Manchester that did not hit my tummy badly among those I tried so far. Feels like home food. Asks for spice levels and also allergies every time taking order showing concern for customers health. Great service from every employee at Cheadle branch. Thanks team!!

Wonderful meal here with friends - incredibly helpful service and particular thanks to the manager to took great care with an allergy. We would thoroughly recommend!

You get a Home made south Indian food taste which is simple and tasty. North Indian options are also there which are equally good.. All in all this is pure unadulterated Indian. It won't disappoint..

My wife and I enjoyed the grazing platter. I also tried the thali and my wife, the masala dosa. The dosa didn’t have a lot of filling which was a shame, otherwise flavour was good. The sambhar and coconut chutney portion was also very small. My non-veg thali was a veg thali with one meat option. There were extras that you wouldn’t find in the standard thali but they were so small & basic that it didn’t justify the higher price. My only complaint was the food didn’t come out together. For a restaurant, this isn’t good service.

The food was nice but the portion size was a joke. Have never seen such tiny pots for chutneys, there was barely enough for 1 poppadom. About 20 chips in a portion. The chicken tikka kebab was nice.

The food is very good. Booking well in advance is thus recommended at busy times. Alternatively come early doors when seating is easy. Came with Albrecht today ( July 2023). He is over from Bamburg. The serving staff will happily explain the menu to those needing guidance. We have tried most items and never been disappointed. The restaurant is small as are the tables but it all adds to the atmosphere. Having said that..we tend to go elsewhere for more room. Cheadle has a lot of choice. Small bottles of Kingfisher or Cobra at £3.95 is OTT. ( no draft beers.) Love the goat keema pav and the gobi Manchurian is the best! Chilli chicken pretty damn good. When busy you might need to queue for the one all singing and dancing toilet.

An unpretentious and unassuming restaurant with some of the finest flavours that we give ever tasted in Indian street food in the UK, and actually better than a lot in Asia. The Goat Keema Pav was superb. Excellent service by delightful and helpful staff. Hugely recommended.

We have been visiting the Indian Tiffin Room regularly since it opened 10 years ago. The level of service is exceptional, nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. They are all friendly and polite. The food is the best Indian around. The fishers are always full of flavour and very tasty. Definitely worth a visit

Fantastic meal and excellent service, the waiter given us the famous Indian street food recommendations and they was all spot on- it is a small restaurant but the staff couldn’t do enough for you.

Lovely little restaurant, with a really interesting & varied menu

Quite clearly cutting back on more expensive ingredients. 3 small pieces of paneer in a paneer curry and Kachumber salad that was a good 70% onion. Disappointing and not on par with dining in experiences

Loved the cosy atmosphere and some people say it needs to be bigger but I think that would take away the personal touch, the food was insane. Every bite was delicious! And I've tried things I wouldn't normally, traditional and delightful restaurant. Personal touch, and felt authentic 😊

Amazing! Booked at 1pm today. Seated with parents at 7pm. Very kind staff moved us so parents would feel warmer. And then the food. Wow, really fabulous. Spiced to perfection, tender and succulent. Of course, mums lamb chops are better. Will be back soon. Thank you 😊

We turned up on a Saturday evening with no reservation. They very kindly found us a table and squeezed us in. They were very friendly and welcoming. The food came reasonably quickly and tasted lovely. Good flavour. The menu is very limited, but it is a street food restaurant. No popadoms unfortunately. All in all a good find, as we were just passing through on our way home from Manchester after a band recording session. If we are up that way again we will definitely pop in again.

Visited this evening for dinner. Opening of our fast. Explained the situation to the waiter asking if we could Order but request the food is delayed until fasting opens.ITR Leeds obliged and bought our starters and drink bang on time for fast opening (which was 25 mins after we ordered) and the mains arrived 20 mins after wards piping hot. They really looked after us. The table next to us, the patrons were also fasting. They were served with the same efficiency. Perfect service and the food was EXCELLENT

We usually eat in at ITR Cheadle when we’re in Stockport but circumstances meant we went for the takeaway option this time. The food is unfailingly good when you eat there and the takeaway absolutely lived up to expectations - the food was superb. And the meal was ready at exactly the time I’d asked for. They’re great people and offer a great service.

A beautiful Little hidden gem in Cheadle village. We ate here for the very first time and I can honestly say this has been the nicest Indian street food we have had in a very long time! Tasted so fresh and full of flavour it didn’t disappoint! We will certainly be coming again! Also the service was lovely and warm and we were very well taken care of. Small venue but oh boy is the food delish. First time going and highly enjoyable. Was there with a couple friends and the waiter really helped us out choosing from the menu. Make sure to try the Dahi Puri as a starter. Overall, excellent food, really friendly staff and just across from a car park for easy parking.

The delicious food at The Tiffin Room never disappoints & the staff are lovely & friendly 5*.

Good meal though thought it was pricy for the size of the portions. But family enjoyed the meal, nice vibe to the place and friendly staff.

Food is good ,but they take 10 pounds for service charges named as standard , and the top of that, on the payment receipt they mentioned that service charge not included. I must say 10 pound is too much in the name of service charge named Standard

Best Indian meal i’ve had for a while, butter chicken is to die for and the service is top notch.

Outstanding service, delicious food and reasonably priced. Manish and Shyans both provided fantastic service on both occasions all dishes were presented of a high standard and absolute delicious. A restaurant that is a must and if your ever thinking of going for an Indian, Indian Tiffin rooms would always be my first recommendation, booking is a must.

We ordered a takeaway tonight, having eaten in the restaurant before. Appreciate the tenderness of the meat and the overall quality, but both curries we ordered were incredibly salty, especially the lamb dish. If we'd been eating in we would have returned them. I actually don't mind a bit of extra salt, but even for me this was too much. Given the amount paid, I can't say it offers the best value for money. The search for a really decent Indian takeaway in South Manchester goes on.

Nice and delicious food..i like briyani much friendly staff

ITR is a serious find. A small high quality Indian cafe with a tight but always excellent menu. Highlights are the biryani, Dhosa, and don’t miss the chicken lollipops! Service is good and quick, food is authentic and tasty and you will not leave hungry. It’s a cafe type place, so tables are close and it’s hot and noisy, but no one kicks you out. Enjoy if you get the chance.

Excellent flavours, just disappointed with the lack of paneer in the maithi mottar malai, especially when I am paying £12+ for this dish.

Great Indian street food, lots of options veggie, hot, cold, lots of items to share. The Vada Pav was really tasty and came with a couple of dips. Chilli paneer lovely. Chicken Vishaka was rich and fiery. Staff were very friendly and attentive. They even have their own beer, a pale ale and lager.
