First time visiting this restaurant but read the reviews and thought I would give it ago. Booked it for my husband for father's day, with our girls. Staff were very welcoming, very calm organised atmosphere. Service and food was very good. Would definitely recommend and return. Oh forgot to mention, my husband had a lovely surprise when a member of staff brought him a complimentary father's day gift. Thank you.

Me and my partner fancied a curry and was unsure where to go, qurashi popped up on stockport eats with a 10%discount. (I didn't take pics as I was starving!) ordered 2x chicken tikka starters, n 2x curry's, 1 pilau rice and a garlic nan, it was around £32 quid which included a £3 delivery charge. Anyway the quality of the chicken was good but the sauces had a sweet taste, I had a bhuna which isn't usually sweet, it had no spice to it either, but was pleasant enough. My partner had a korai and asked for it spicy, it wasn't spicy. The rice usual sized portion but not the usual pilau colour rice, no complaints we ate it lol I usually look forward to a fresh decent sized garlic nan but the one that arrived was circular and dripping in grease with a yellow tinge, should of took a picture. Sadly we didn't enjoy it enough to want to return again.

Went for my 5 year old daughter Birthday The food and service was excellent. Magic tricks for the kids. They also brought out a card and gift voucher and a cake and candle. The lamb chops are superb. Nice big ones with excellent marinade I would really recommend them. We will definitely be going again. Great place

Order some food from here never received it waited and didn’t hear rang the restraunt and no answer. Wasn’t just for me it was for my husband and 2 children. WOULD NOT RECCOMEND

Food, staff & atmosphere brilliant. Had my husband's 80th Birthday family meal last night 4/5/24 for 12 people & the food was spot on. One of the staff even did little magic tricks for us & they even produced a Birthday Card with a discount gift voucher. Can definitely recommend the whole experience.

Our first visit, (6 of us), we all had different meals and all enjoyed the food, it was a birthday celebration and they were very good. It was nice that we could all hear each other speaking not like some places, they don't do alcohol, that wasn't a problem for us. We will certainly go again.

We walked in and there was only 1 couple in (sat in the window) they sat us behind them (in the window) obviously trying to make the place look busy! They came and literally threw the cutlery onto the table and then came back and threw a serviette at my partners plate then one at mine! The waiter came over and abruptly said "what do you want to drink?" we said "do you seve alcohol" he said "no" and walked away - at this point we left - can't comment on the food coz we left but we have never ever had cutlery and napkins thrown at us! There's so many excellent restaurants out there who's staff treat you as you should be treated - this place doesn't even deserve 1* We, definitely won't be going back!

Utterly confused by the ratings of this place. Should’ve seen the warning signs when the chap on the phone told me to hurry up (???) when I was trying to pay him. The meat in the mixed starter was simply appalling. So bland and so sad. The chicken was just ok. The curry just tasted so underwhelming and basic, almost supermarket quality. The meat in the curry tasted like it was just pan fried and chucked in. The pilau rice is actually just boiled rice. Took over 90 minutes to arrive. Bad bad, simply so bad. (And @ the restaurant: yes, I have been to India. 4 times).

Been coming here for years and it always top notch every time I come. Food is stunning and perfectly cooked and seasoned. Even with the new BYOB policy, it actually made the meal cheaper. Will definitely continue coming back!

Fantastic place great service great atmosphere food is amazing - and the beauty of it is you get to bring your own beer, glasses and wine chillers are provided however they do have fabulous mock tails or milkshakes highly recommend !!!

Great night at Qurashi. 12 of us came to celebrate my parents 40th Anniversary. Food was hot and fresh, with lots to choose from. They kept hold of a cake we brought in and brought it out for us when we were ready for it. They wished my parents a happy anniversary and gave them a card, which was a lovely touch. Would highly recommend Qurashi. We often go and enjoy ourselves, but tonight was a special night. Thank you to all the staff :)

We went here after I've had previously been here when visiting my mother in Romiley. We had always found the food tasty and service good. WOW, WHAT A CHANGE! They are no longer licenced, so you have to take your own alcohol. We went on a Thursday evening at 5.30pm and had a window table . We ordered our food and when the poppadoms came we all commented on the poor quality of the chutneys.....how they could call them chutneys I do not know as they were just pots of juice. Our starters of onion bhaji and mushroom bahji we could only eat the mushrooms as the onion was just a sloppy greasy mess of no taste whatsoever. Mains were the same curry sauce with a minimum of additional seasonings no taste at all. Then, in arrived a Rotary group of 16 who they were obviously expecting and they arranged their tables all around us making us feel very uncomfortable indeed. There has obviously been a change in chefs and or management here, which I can only say is for the worst, I do not think they will be in business much longer. The food was poor, the timing was slow as the chef was obviously cooking the Rotary clubs pre order?? The manager offered us a £5 voucher for us to use the next time to which I said there would not be a next time, he then came out to my car as I was driving off with a further £10 voucher......as I explained yo him the meal should have been free.

We ordered from here tonight. 24.10.23- the food was absolutely incredible. There was nothing bad to say about it at all, fresh hot tasty food full of flavour. First time ordering and it will not be the last. Hard to find a decent Indian, but I believe we’ve found it.

Tried for the first time last night,was very pleasantly surprised very friendly helpful staff, delicious chicken shaslick with curry sauces etc all served piping hot.definitely recommend in fact we have booked a table for Christmas Day

Had been wanting to try this place but they've left me waiting nearly 2 hours for a delivery and it's still not here.

Time and time again we come here and every time we are very satisfied, the staff sorry friends are brilliant and the food is excellent reasonably priced nothing is too much trouble Today we celebrated our wedding anniversary and we had a brilliant time highly recommended

We ordered our Saturday night takeaway from here for the first time last week and we were very impressed. Delivered on time, nice and hot and it was absolutely delicious. We'll definitely order again and look forward to dining in there.

I then had onion bhaji which were crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. For my main course I like a sweet dish so I had malai murgh. I've never had it before. It was delicious. Boneless chicken marinated in yoghurt and mild spices and cooked in a creamy sauce and cashew nuts and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese. Yum. Lemon rice and peshwari nan. You can bring your own alcohol but not soft drinks. There is parking for a few cars outside. I'll definitely be coming back. Delicious.

Lovely meal here with family. I tried a different curry to what I would normally have and really enjoyed it. They also found out it was my grandson's birthday and appeared with a card and cake and sang happy birthday to him which was a really nice touch. Thank you!

Came here based on reviews. My curry was lovely, my husband's had no taste whatsoever, almost as if they forgot to add the spices! We were a bit disappointed overall.

Food OK, choice very wide (prefer a more limited choice of individually prepared dishes rather than lots of dishes that are just meats with different sauces poured over them). The restuarant does not serve any alcohol, contrary to the impression given in reviews/descrptions. You may take your own but there is no bar/beer/wine etc.

Ordered chicken tikka masala the most popular dish ofcourse. Prompt delivery as my order was placed at 1030pm which I was grateful for them to deliver. As it was approaching the end of service. Onion bhaji was fairly dry tikka masala was good a bit more sauce perhaps would of made it. rice was boiled hot large portion. And my coucunt nan was flavoursome. Overall the food is fairly good I have had better but I've had alot worse I would order again 🙂

Excellent food as usual. Even though you now have to bring your own alcoholic drink it's still a very welcoming place. Plus the bill is lower without the drinks bill added. A super restaurant with great food that will keep us returning time after time.

It was a very busy Saturday evening when we arrived, so we had to wait a few minutes for our table, however things soon settled down as a couple of large parties finished their meal and left. Food was lovely and staff looked after us well. This is a deservedly popular local eatery. Will be back soon!

Still waiting for delivery after 2 and a quarter hours. Only ordered because delivery was meant to be within 45 mins. Rang the restaurant and was hung up on. Very poor. I understand weekends are busy but stop taking orders when you reach the point...

Came with the family had a wonderful evening. Food was great and staff was friendly. What really pleased me was the spare nappies wipes and bags by the changing unit, was really sweet and helpful for me and my baby.

Two colleagues and I went on the last day of the month which being a Wednesday offered us the £14.95 discounted menu. Execelent value for superior quality food . No real gripes, had to ask a couple of times for lime pickle and one of the waiters was clearly distracted by the World Cup football. The quality of the food parked all that in the corner. Wevwill be back no doubt about that

First time we’ve tried this place, and was honestly disappointed. The hospitality was poor, it was as if we weren’t welcome and they just wanted to get rid of us soon as possible and take our hard earned money and leave. No one asked how our meal was, waiters walked away when we tried to order something simple as water, and when it arrived it was placed with a bit of an attitude. The food was pretty average, barely any flavour but was atleast quick. Shall not be returning.

Massively let themselves down. Told to collect our food 20 minutes after ordering it. Arrived and told there was an issue with the kitchen. Had to wait a further 45 minutes for 3 dishes. Indego next time.
