Had an amazing meal the food was outstanding and the server Ranjith was so friendly and very helpful and was understanding to my friends vegetarian needs and was very thoughtful as it was my birthday and he bought icecream. BEST and only BEST FOOD I've had in Manchester. Food was so delicious and the cocktails we had complemented it perfectly!! The best and authentic indian food I've had in Manchester. Very clean and tidy restaurant with welcoming staff. My absolute favourite was Pani Puri, Chilli chicken , dahi Puri, and Pina Colada.Very cosy and vibrant decor. Do come visit for a unique dining experience in Manchester ☺️

Hitchki offers a great mix of traditional Indian dishes with modern flair. The service was impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff. I'm a vegetarian so I highly recommend Dahi puri, pani puri, Paneer butter masala and my absolute favourite Peshwari naan. Best foood I've had in Manchester till now. Will definitely be back✌

Fantastic meal out - the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, and the food was first class. An excellent place to go if you have food allergies - the gluten free / allergy in our group was very well catered for (the menu is also well designed for this). I had a fantastic dining experience at this Restaurant, thanks to Ranjith's exceptional service. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful. The guy Ranjith has recommended few dishes which are the crispy calamari,cocount prawns were spot on. His attentive and friendly service made our meal even more enjoyable and he never made our glasses empty. Highly recommend both the food and excellent service!

We went to this restaurant on a regular weekly Friday. Ordered Manchurian in starters and bhindi masala, onion kulcha and kadhai paneer. The portion size of the sabji is small. Didnt quite enjoy manchurian as dont think taste was authentic, it was too tangy. Food was quite spicy as well and service was way too slow. Overall an okay restaurant.

Always a pleasure to eat at Hitchki. By far my favourite restaurant in South Manchester. Mostly we eat in because of the delightful atmosphere and the friendliest of staff but takeaways are just as good if you can’t get a table. Thanks as always Jodie (sometimes known as Tracey 😆)

We went on a weekday evening. Since the restaurent is small and they have few waiters it is best to go on a weekday evening. You get better service and the Delivery guys are less so the food and service is done with care. The Indian fare is varied from Mughlai, to Punjabi, Delhi and Konkan. All items are specific preparation like Andhra Lamb, Malvani Chicken, Loan Prawns. All are lovingly made, very tasty. But not for those who want westernized, bland or sweet curries. If curry has to be spicy it is. Street food is also very tasty.

Ok - just in case you aren’t sure - Indian Street food is served almost tapas style so the portions aren’t going to be huge but trust me they are sufficient! The flavours are phenomenal and the quality excellent. You need to be able to cope with medium spice at least to really enjoy food here. Came on a Thursday early evening and by 7pm was nearly full. I am not surprised. Everything we ate was fantastic and the service very attentive. We weren’t rushed in any way but were done within an hour and fifteen! Cant wait to go back with friends

Brilliant food.Railway Lamb was spot on

First time using this Indian and it will certainly be the last. Butter chicken made with small pieces of chicken thigh at a staggering price of £13.95, as others have said, I wouldn't mind if the chicken was high quality, but this chicken was tough and inedible. A good sauce does not make up for poor quality meat at this price. Chilli chicken portion extremely small, with overpowering taste of 5 spice. Chicken was also dry. Never tasted a poorer quality onion bhaji which was accompanied by some sort of barbeque sauce? My advice would be to avoid this restaurant and eat elsewhere like Dehli Dream, where I have found the food quality to be much higher.

Our first visit to, won't be last. Really excellent food and service. Would highly recommend anyone to go. Not too expensive either

2nd time here and the food was amazing. We ordered the street sharing platter for starter which is unbelievable value for money and very tasty. The mains were equally delicious. Service was spot on, I would highly recommend.

Delicious food, however didn’t realise the food didn’t come with rice. At the restaurant it is included. Still very tasty and would re order.

When my wife suggested this local Indian restaurant in Cheadle where we where staying I was excited. Unfortunately when the food came was super disappointed by the tiny portions and the average food. We have much better in South Africa. We had paneer tikka, salmon tikka, a veg curry dish and a naan bread. Expensive average food with high prices = welcome to England.

Our table was booked for 7.30. The main course finally arrived at 9.30. How did this happen? When we got there they said "Your table isn't available yet". We went to the pub next door for twenty minutes. A starter came and went. An hour passed. Eventually the mains began to emerge, bit by bit; we sat looking at them until the last one arrived. 9.40 by this stage. At no time did the waiter - who was perfectly pleasant - apologise, offer any explanation, or even offer to knock the drinks off the bill. The food was perfectly OK. But why would I ever go there again? And why would anyone reading this take a chance on Hitchki?

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. Beautiful decorated street food intimate restaurant with outstanding 5 star food paired with attentive and helpful servers. Hands down the most delicious, well seasoned food I have EVER tasted. This is our second time visit the restaurant and we traveled 1.5hours to visit again and it was so worth it. I highly recommend and will definitely be revisiting in the future.

great taste but portions a bit small...

Was watching on the app... Driver went different direction first, clearly for other orders. My expected delivery time kept increasing and then when the food arrived it was cold. May as well have got a microwave meal as have to heat up.

The food is wonderful. Possibly the best Indian around Cheadle. Highly recommend (especially the paneer dishes)

The food was acceptable, disappointingly small portions and poor value for money. Five tiny pieces of Fish Amritsari with little taste, Chilli Chicken was tough, the garnish was a nice green chutney with half a cherry tomato. I wonder what happened to the other half?

Family party of 10, went on my hubbys and my recommendation, and glad to say everybody enjoyed the meal, all stating, they will definitely return, as the food was so good. I had the Bhel Puri for starters, which is a spicy puffed rice dish,with pomegranate seeds, so tasty, then had the Chicken Kolhapuri, which was so flavoursome. £357.00 for 10 people, all had starts, mains and 2 or 3 drinks each.

The starter is supposed to be 5 items but we only had 4 delivered. All really great, but missing 1.

The food tastes great, but the portion size is ridiculous. You should not still be hungry after spending £75 on a take out meal for 2 adults and 3 children. I could maybe understand if we're eating out at the restaurant. Shame.

First visit, heard nothing but great reviews… but either I was unlucky it had a new inexperienced chef. Top 3 worst curries I’ve ever had. Firstly shocked at the price of their butter chicken, £15… but was happy to pay that if good qualify. Sadly not, had to spit out the chicken three times as pure gristle. Pilau rice full of cardamom seeds and star anise which totally over posted the taste of the whole meal. Naan bread small, flat and flavourless. Maybe/hopefully just a one off… but nowhere near what it should be

This place deserves a 10 . We had a pretty good Idea of the food here from the moment we walked in as the place was very busy, always a good sign. Table service was quick and it was the young girls first day, she was very pleasant too. We didn't wait long at all for our food. I must say if you haven't eaten here, then you are certainly missing out! The best Indian street food by far and so much choice. Everything was delicious. Don't be afraid to try something new there will always be something on the menu for you. We even managed to get a seat by the window, which was a bonus. First time here for us and we will definitely be returning Thanks for the amazing food and to the lovely staff too

Amazing food as always, there is also a 2 for 1 drinks offer before 6pm at the moment. Cannot fault the food or staff, always perfect. Just one small issue on this visit, the music was quite loud and for the whole time we were there it was reggae music, not really adding to the ambiance of an Indian restaurant!

We have our more than our fair share of great Indian restaurants in Cheadle but I think Hitchki beats them all for the quality of the curries 😀

If I could give 6!stars for food I would. Eat out a lot and this is the best we’ve had in the uk in a long time. Great service too.. although felt a bit pressured to leave at the end of the evening. Lovely restaurant.. great decor. 4 stats for atmosphere due only to number of customers on the restaurant but quiet rainy Sunday night

First visit along with Jorvic. One of several good Indian Street food options in Cheadle. Been open about 3 years thus managed to survive Govt attempts to kill small businesses. Next door to James Watts. Visited just after 5pm opening and discovered 2 for 1 drink offer from 5 - 6pm. Jorvic tried a pint of the Bombay beer; not to his taste. Tried Kingfisher next. Still prefer Cobra which was also on tap. Shared 3 excellent starters. Keema Pav, Gobi Manchurian and a lamb and beetroot dish. The main dishes come with rice or naan included. We had a Chana dish and another lamb dish. All lovely. Plenty of interesting dishes so will definitely be back.

Food very very nice Service too good Ambience/ place? Knocking off 2 points for it as this place does not cater to all genre. The music was super loud you can barely hear the person sitting across or besides you. A club with the DJ but without the dance floor? So think twice if you are taking children or the elderly with you. Or am I missing out on the info that family with kids and their grandparents cannot come here? The lights were so dim that we had to on our mobile phone to check the bill! Perfect place for after office parties or for college/ uni students :)

This is without a doubt the best ever Indians we have had. The food was stunning. Every dish was absolutely delicious. Can not wait to go back. Service superb 👌. What a find.

Absolutely incredible food and 10/10 service, could not fault it. 2 glasses of wine/ two beers for 5.25 with the 241 offer which was a pleasant surprise!!Would recommend getting either the naan/ rice per person PLUS another naan/ rice between a couple, or a side, if you have a good appetite. 2 mains and 4 alcoholic drinks came to £37- I wished we lived closer as would have eaten it all over again in an instant.

Food was delicious but let down by chewing down on a sharp piece of chicken bone. This is a terrible shame as my fiance is a huge curry fan and says what we ordered were the nicest tasting curries he has ever had. Service was impeccable, food was really good, it was just let down by the horrible chicken bone. ☹️

We are not from the area and called in at lunch after other options around didn't appeal. The restaurant was empty, so I wasn't expecting much. But it was fab! We have the lunch special Thali, which we all thoroughly enjoyed. There was a meat or veg option. Great value, lovely food and full stomachs

This is our regular Indian restaurant. It’s unbelievably nice. The Achari Boti Tikka for a starter is sublime. For main the Butter Chicken and Railway Curry are so rich and delicious. The peshwari naan is also great, with a drizzle of honey and pistachio crumbled on top. Good options for alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks including 0% Cobra. Book online as it gets super busy.

Family meal as our son flees the nest and a gr8 choice. If you like to experiment with the flavours this is the place. I had the Malvani. Hot but soon dissipated. Just what one wants. Good service. Food is really good but the size portion could be more bigger. It came in small bowl for price of £15.. it was ridiculous. As group of 6 we had to order more. One curry is not enough for 1 person. Disappointed.

Sauce was good, nothing amazing but decent. It’s chicken thigh not chicken breast, so that’s a preference thing but the thigh is really fatty. Chips were okay, naan was pretty good, thin but not burnt. Rice was good.

Love this place, it is small so good if you don't like a big noisy restaurant, food is consistently excellent and not your standard Indian offering, a much more interesting selection.

Lunch time menu was a set menu which was nice My gripe is they didn’t tell me it was cash only and asked me to go to the cash machine I only use Apple Pay so can’t draw cash out Should have been told this...

Lovely atmosphere as soon as you walk in. Date night with hubby. Had the sharing Tandoori platter, which was lamb chops, kebabs chicken, all were very tasty and succulent. Both had a chicken dish, but different. Bith dishes were excellent. Will definitely visit here again.

Nice flavours however, butter chicken did have a slight kick to it which I don’t mind, but probably not as mild as my child was expecting. Not sure if the chicken is cooked on the bone but there were a few bits of bone or big bits of gristle in the curry which wasn’t very pleasant.

Very disappointed! Portions are very small and a rushed service, literally we was served a 2 course meal and was in and out within 35 mins! Food was good though just not enough of it and they don’t serve poppadoms which I found a little...

This is as good as it gets. Perfeclty cooked mixed grill starter, out-of-this-world garlic prawns, amazing curries, and fresh naans. Maybe the portions could have been a bit bigger, but you cannot complain because everything is so high-quality that the value for money beyond question. I will dream of this food. Very good staff make you feel looked after. Can't recommend it highly enough. No wonder it was almost full on a Wednesday evening.
