The best restaurants in St. Helens North West

We ordered a Beef Rogan Josh, Keema Rice, Seekh Kebab, Bombay Potatoes and a portion of Onion Bhaji. Everything was spot on except the Onion Bhaji. They were completely inedible and burnt to an absolute crisp. It was literally like taking a bite out of a piece of coal. I will order again but I'll be asking for fresh Bhaji as these ones had clearly been sat on the side for hours and possibly warmed up once ordered. Again. The rest of the food was brilliant so I will order again!

Well established take away premises. Good menu choice. Standard, competitive pricing in comparison to other nearby establishments. Friendly, hard working staff. Can be busy at usual high demand times but well worth the wait. Telephone orders accepted.

This is the absolute best Indian takeaway in St Helens, by far... We normally order king prawn tikka starter's, with a king prawn puree, not the cheapest but bloody good. Followed by a mix shashlik kebab between the two of us.. Truly amazing food ! Thanks guys ,keep it up...

Got chicken balls in sweet and sour chicken.. rice and sweet and sour sauce fine. Chicken texture horrible and squeaky, like rubber... had to spit it out.. very disappointing

40 minute delay on arrival despite ordering via phone. Really poor customer service

I picked The Stanley for a family meal and catch up. The food was outstanding as usual and the service was friendly and professional. I would have no hesitation in recommending this place.

Today I was a part of a walking group of 28 people! i really was not expecting the amazing standard of ALL the dishes that came from the kitchen. It’s a few years since i have eaten here, but it was delicious 😋i had the multi seed avocado with tandoori chicken kebab with a pineapple and ginger dressing absolutely gorgeous. My friends all raved about their choices all the dishes were hot, considering it was a large group service was great 10/10. Well done Tracey and Theresa and your team 😋 I will be back next week and will recommend to all my family and friends.

Always find it cold in this establishment. Food was great as always , staff were really friendly and helpful.

Most disgusting set of staff I have ever seen in my life. Took 1 hour to get a kebab. The staff were saying racist remarks about other customers under their breath. I was speechless

Absolutely horrible food. Chips were definitely warmed up, fish had more batter than actual fish and the peas came in a lump. Avoid this place if you value your health.

Good place to go for a quiet meal with friends and family

I visited on Monday. The girls on shift at the time were great. Friendly and very helpful. I felt sorry for the girl who served my chocolate and salted caramel cake, who seemed mortified about making a mistake of putting my cake in a bag and not a plate but I said it was not a problem. We all make mistakes 😊
