Gorgeous food tonight really enjoyed it especially the salt n pepper munchie box

Lovely people lovely food. Never had anything better than a salt and pepper munch box and sublime wontons best food I've ever had.

I was hoping for a belter scran after reading some of the reviews but I was extremely disappointed. The chips were dreadful, under cooked and a distinct taste of oil with zero seasoning. Chicken fried rice was cold and the prawn toast was average at best

Beef curry fried rice was delicious. Rice was delicious and beef nice and tender.

Excellent choice for a meal . portions are very large and tasty . we specially like the fish. Next time we will try one off their meals.

Ordered a salt and pepper munchie box for collection everything wasn’t nice no flavour and food in general didn’t taste good what so ever and portion size wasn’t good. staff where nice but won’t be going there again not worth the money

Food was cold and had no taste asked for Donna meat and it came with pepper and onions and a sauce that wasn’t asked for that tasted awful Rang to tell them they had sent the wrong Donna meat to be rudely told that’s how it is and that’s how it’s cooked love ! Absolutely disgusting customer service Won’t be ordering again food was vile Bring back the two women who where previous owners

After reading so many good things about this place we decided to give it a go and we wasn't disappointed,our new favourite Chinese Highly recommend the salt & pepper munchie box

We waited over 2 hour for the order to be completely wrong! Awful and wouldn't recommend at all,I definitely will never order from them ever again.

Absolute disgrace, my mum went here to order on her own with no mask on as she is exempt. She told the Chinese woman she was deaf and had to lip read the Chinese woman wouldn't take her mask off and just kept pointing at her ( I assume talking as she was pointing) My mum is deaf and let the shop heartbroken because of the way the Chinese woman was with her.

Waited for over 2 hours for delivery did ring up a couple of times to complain however staff were always very apologetic however when the food did arrive it was lovely and hot best we’ve ever had 👍

Ok. Chow mein was very salty with lots of sauce. Not great. Served with a poched egg - a (not good) new one for me. Chips were fresh and tasty though.

Absolutely disgusting ordered food to be delivered. Forty five mins later rang to check they said they thought I was collecting. I told them that I ordered a delivery she said she'd send it with a driver. Another 45 mins later rang be telling friends and family not to use them. again. Got told it was on way. When it finally arrived the food was cold and the prawn toast was absolutely disgusting and tasted like old cooking oil. Totally disappointed I've rated 1 star just for the simple reason the delivery guy was very apologetic even though it wasn't his fault. Will never be using this place again. And will also

Best Chinese food in St. Helens

Food was delivered fast it was hot and delicious. The portion sizes were great value for money

Nice clean place. Very busy so phone your order through first! Decent sized portions and very tasty sauces. Special fried rice is lovely and the special chow mein is spot on as well. Chips have always been fresh and whenever we've had our food delivered, it always turns up early. Highly recommended.

They're never open and one day they're on just eat and the next they're not on just eat. Business needs fixing badly because the food is amazing.

Friday family tea ordered through Just Eat. Order delivered on time. Food was great, one of the best Chinese meals I've had from a take away in a while. I had beef in black pepper sauce, beef was so tender. Would definitely order from them again.

You walk in there and you'll be completely ignored for at least five minutes. They far too busy with Just Eat orders to bother with you or what you want, even if you have phoned your order through. Just a friendly "Hello we'll be with you in a moment" would go a long way.

Quick response, excellent curry sauce and my favorite place for egg fried rice when I am in the area.

Made a phone call to pick up 20 mins . Went and had to wait another twenty mins, then the server put the chicken order in a microwave in front of me :0 , the chicken had a funny smell and taste , then the rice was as hard as bullets and I only got 3 wontons . Worst take away we’ve ever had and would avoid at all costs

I have used this take away for over 40 year's and tonight's food was the worst I have ever had. The fried rice has always been the best in town but fried straw is the best way to describe it and they can't make chips go save their life won't get another penny from me.

Last few times we have had food from here it's not been the best so stopped going.

This place has steadily gone down the tubes over the last couple of years. My most recent visit resulted in me taking my order back it was that horrible. Chicken and king prawn curry that wasn't chicken as every piece had tiny bones in it, and the prawns where green! It's actually put me off chinese food altogether. Should be shut down.

keep giving this place the benefit of the doubt but last straw tonight. Placed order for delivery at 8pm received email to state that the order would be delivered at 8.30pm not able to do anything about this as paid via just eat. at 8.30 pm no sign tried to call the takeaway and line engaged, retried and retried and guess what - engaged!!! Eventually got through at 8.55pm to be told that the driver was there and they were putting the order together!!!!!! they had my number so why not ring to advise of the delay. Asked for a £5 reimbursement due to delay to hear the "owner" say no the order is being packed and the phone went dead!!!!!! Rang back and advised that I wanted the refund and the food delivered ASAP (stroppy I know but if you were sat in the restaurant you would demand free drinks if waiting for 1 hour for food or you would walk out) but as I had already paid felt quite within my rights to ask for this. At 9.05 pm driver arrived with the food which I did take and also he had the £5 which he asked if I wanted it!!!! cheek of course I do!! Will NOT be using this place again as we have always given them the benefit of the doubt for the delay in delivering but enough is enough.

Absolutely rubbish!! Didn't deliver our order for 2 hours, rang up to see why and was rudely spoken to by whoever answered the phone saying they had sent it to the wrong address!! I said how is that even possible when we gave our phone number and Postcode and had ordered from them before. He said well we had other people who called after you...so that makes it ok then...?!

Had chicken curry,fried rice and spring rolls, we shared it there was so much, really tasty and hot. Will be back very soon

Nothing much to say about fiveways, everything was very good. We rang up and placed our order ten minutes before driving to pick it up. Upon arrival our food was all ready and waiting. Food was great and had no problems.

First time we ate from there food was lovely will definitely be going back fast as well with the delivery.

My favorite is the special chow mein with Prawn Crackers. Always busy on a weekend, you can have home delivery or even order on-line as well. Great value and always to the same good standard.

Just had chicken curry, my significant other had sweet and sour chicken which she thinks is better than most restaurants and our son had sausage and chips. All delicious and good value for money.

I have been to this takeaway many times and I have always had good food, the owners are friendly and do make things off menu when asked, I have had a mushroom curry which they made as an off menu item and also a few other items. I have not known them to refuse when it is possible to do an off menu item but you have to be reasonable of course and not ask for stupid stuff.

Think this chippy is good value and nice selection of food had some great food here especailly the fish cake s best ive had

Love the egg fried rice from here perfect for when i cant be bothered to do my own, chips are amazing with massive portions, bbq is a little watery and prawn crackers are hit and miss

The strangest (and worst) Special Fried Rice I've ever had and a Sweet & Sour Chicken that had a thin chemical tasting sauce with the greasyest chips ever. Avoid at all costs!

Great portion sizes but your order is hit and miss, sometimes fresh, sometimes warm ups!
