Not good, no beef doner when we attended. Walked straight out again

Really nice food and staff are sound. If youre a student you get 15% off which makes it really good value for money

Dirty tables, unwelcome service and okish food. It actually all depends who is working there at the moment. I went there today and wanted to place the order by the counter but the girl who was serving told me to use a self service kiosk. I had not much time so I asked her to do it by the till and she started to pretend she was busy and ignored me I asked again if I could place a quick order and she told me she was busy, finally she did it after a long wait. After that she was taking and joking with the rest of the staff so clearly she wasn't very busy... just lazy 😅

I had them in London and thought mhhh let me try it in St.helens and it didn't disappoint. They even have new addition to the menu. Definitely recommend the doner box

Food delivered through uber eats had item's missing, tiny little portions and was freezing cold and inedible, even the dog wouldn't eat it. Waste of time and money. Uber refunded me 9 pence.

So slow it's unreal. 30 mins for a kebab in a near empty restaurant.

Had food delivered via Deliveroo, paid extra for priority delivery, food was stone cold, not even warm - freezing, the cheesy hash browns had zero cheese on them, rest of food was meh, came with a melted freddo which probably melted whilst it waited for the delivery. Won’t be returning.

So disappointed in myself for returning here after the last visit and yet again today I was poisoned and the robbed by the manager at St Helens I have a video yet to upload . And as proof plz don’t take your kids here and avoid at all cost

Absolute joke the staff are ignorant and can’t be bothered to busy laughing and giggling with people in the back. the portions are tiny and it’s expensive £9 for a kebab that’s all bread. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ITS NOT WORTH IT it’s just not worth myself.

Ate here a few times now and everytime the staff are efficient and friendly, food taste lovely and fresh. Tables are always clean and the self service screen is easy to use. Plenty of parking available.

Maybe we turned up on a bad day, but the restaurant didn't look busy. Wait seemed to be driven by the amount of just eat drivers waiting for orders... Food is OK, order wasn't completely accurate but we only realised when we got home. The kids do enjoy the food though.

The staff members here are amazing. I arrived half an hour before their closing time however the service was very satisfactory.The food is always great, German Doner never disappoints me. They have gym box option for people who cares about calories, perfect.

Staff lazy fries and wrap where stale, chicken was burnt yet freezing cold my friend complained about he’s fries fries they said they will make him a new portion and they left him waiting half an hour, staff too busy chatting, the food is usually nice but this was awful like it had been sitting out not sure if we came on a bad day but today food and service was terrible.

St Helens branch, poor quantity and quality of food. Burned and tasteless, didn’t bother raising an issue because it’s 1230 and I’m starving… won’t be coming again plus the manager was shouting at an employee over some cheese…. Gets a 2 star for the Dr Pepper and chips. £14

Honestly the kebabs are great but i dont understand how the staff get my order wrong so frequently. They'll always miss of my extra items, miss off the toppings off my chips etc. It's not massive things but when you pay for extras you expect it to be right. I've had 3 deliveries and every single time our food is stone cold and the order is wrong. The last delivery only my wife’s food came, my food and my kids food didn’t turn up so I drove up there al only to be made to pay for my food again as they said it was not their problem. Diabolical service.

Fist time I had to wait 50 minutes . The staff was slower than the sloth. Second time was twice faster, bat the meat was dry like chips and the bread was cold. Certainly this is the worst German Deoner I’ve visited.

Most disgusting set of staff I have ever seen in my life. Took 1 hour to get a kebab. The staff were saying racist remarks about other customers under their breath. I was speechless

Great food, been a few times now and really enjoy the quality of what we get. The only issue is it is painfully slow; if you’re coming here anticipating ‘quickly grabbing something’ you will be very very disappointed. It usually takes on average about 20 minutes for our order to be done and we have this to takeaway so awkwardly sat waiting.

Good Doner. I'm surprised, normally GDK are not that good but this one is. It's just slightly expensive and sometimes they put less in it, so your hunger might not be 100% gone, but it's good taste.

Ordered a box with dips and a drink. What arrived 1 hour later was a wrap with dry meat of some description, no dips, incorrect drink, and some chip like items glued together with a yellow substance, in a bag. Nothing like the picture promoting it. All cold. Delivery chap, very pleasant, informed me that they are now closed, but orders still on the counter. Rather vile. Think I'd rather go forage for dog excrement bags in Taylor park

Got 2 OG kebab with fries. Mostly salad very little meat. Ordered online to be ready for 7pm. Got it at 7.25pm. I live 5 mins away and the food was cold when I got it home. Don't think I'll be returning for a while. Disappointed

Placed an order via Deliveroo at 19:25, GDK accepted it 19:28. Rider after rider accepted the job, went to GDK and then it would be assigned to another rider. That went on for 2 hours(!), before we eventually got fed up of waiting and called GDK. The person on the phone recognised the order and said that a rider had stole it from the counter. This order was £66, which I’m happy to say has been refunded by Deliveroo, with no help from GDK. I wouldn’t recommend ordering food from here for delivery, as it’s clear they just leave it on a counter for anyone to touch, or indeed steal.

A great place for doner Kebabs with plenty of choice. Pleasant staff and friendly service.

Ordered on just eat. Delivery took over two hours. Called to enquire about the order and was promised that the order was next up and would be on the way soon. I get being understaffed or whatever, but if you can't reasonably meet the order, I'd rather you reject it and I'll go elsewhere. Don't waste my time!

In chicken donor kabab with cheesy fries and jalapeños that costed £9 something, this is the quantity they gave , literally half of the box. And no chicken at all, whole box is fries . This is not the first time . Don’t accept the order if u don’t have stuff left, don’t send such orders after paying that much money. I m not ordering again . Thankyou for your service

Just ordered delivery from the place and haven't received all order. Instead of solving the problem we was told to call back to uber and ask them to solve the problem. That definitely was last time ordering from this place. It's not our issue if thems drivers are stealing. Terrible customer service.Very disappointed.

Only ever came to get takeout for my family but they've always been happy with the food . Can be slow but the foot has always been correct

I'm a fussy eater and not a lover of kebabs or salad, however I've changed from having a face full of kebab which is nice and messy to a doner fries and salad box with garlic sauce which is to die for.... my weekly treat

Quick late night bite to eat an hour before closing, Olivia was extreamly pleasant and helpful...great customer service. However the doner meat in my burger was stone cold. Chips and springs rolls were made fresh and were piping hot. Nonetheless the great customer service is an excuse for me to come back.

I visited German Diner Kebab yesterday. But I am very disappointed by the staff because they missed to add to my order one item(paid for it). The food is tasty and I will still come but next times I will double check my order.

Empty and long wait, Spend around £10.50 for the chicken shawarma sandwich, but there was a lot of salad and less chicken, need better training.

Overall, good experience as tired it for quite a few times. However, their kababs can be inconsistent interms of taste. Would recommend.

This place is the best for a real Donner kebab 😋🔥 The meat is great quality and you get plenty of it with nice a fresh salad and a sauce of your liking. When it comes to quick takeouts this is one of my go to places.

Absolutely Awful. Ordered food at 8.55pm Receipt printed at 9.18pm for Food Delivery Food turned up with several items missing at 10.25pm Clearly the Food had been sat in the bag for over an hour, it was stone cold and soggy only fit for the bin. On complaining offered £3 refund. Extremly poor customer service.

Came to eat in and couldn’t find clean table to sit on. Not busy at all. Shocking. Staff not bothered. Hygiene standards below zero.

I usually love Doner kebab and I think it is the best. But after today’s experience I think I am going to change my mind, at least for this specific site. After I had food with my partner yesterday, we both felt sick right away, I suggest you check your meat and the other products before serving it to customers as it can affect someone even worse.

Went there before closing on 13/04/24 staff in the kitchen make my order without using gloves and at the same time doing cleaning as well felt disgusting even though was very hungry but I asked for refund manger came didn't even apologise not even ask me reason why I want refund. Staff and manager need serious training how to handle food and how to deal with complaints.

First-time experience, really enjoyed the experience. Great concept, plenty of combinations . The food was tasty and filling. Great alternative to other fast food restaurants.

I absolutely love your food but my last order left me disappointed. I customised my order to remove fresh tomatoes since I'm allergic. Order arrived, my item even had a sticker with a note saying "Remove tomato" which I was happy to see but the tomatoes were still there - buried inside the other salads so I only noticed halfway through my meal. Took my medication but it was already late, I'm left with painful rashes now.

As a party of 7 we waited 40 minutes for our food, ordered mixed kebabs to be told there wasn't no beef, so swapped everything to chicken. The mixed turned up and a chicken salad which was ordered came as a beef, when asked about it the girl just shrugged her shoulders and walked away. Fries arrived freezing cold. No one appeared to be in charge, staff just talking to each other ignoring customers at the main counter. Tables left greasy etc. 1st and last visit. Avoid at all costs.

This place is ridiculous. Every time we tried ,they never get it right. Wrong order , no receipt to you to check on your order and in addition very small meat portion. I would never come back. Too many chances , that is enough.

I was a returning Customer Huge Fan at least for a few times/ month for a few years now. Their Cheesy Doner Box has never been " a lot" , portion wise, but i always loved the taste and i'm small build so it usually satisfied me just right. Well the updated box the food came in last time is the new low. I was very dissapointed and i'm a size 8 so i don't eat a lot lot. The food is even less than usual. I could count the chips, literally. The "Extra mix" Chicken was NOWHERE NEAR the amount it should have been , and it was also such tiny strips i had to scoop the chunks up with spoon because the fork couldn't hit the target. So basically probably the very bottom of the grill i guess. The cheese sauce i don't even mention because that's also something i usually have to order 2x to have the food acceptably covered. I'm sorey but THE PORTION IS A DISGRACE. No matter how good the taste is and it is very- very good but , but for a 36£ of order, the new portion is not cutting it anymore. 40£ is 4 days worth of food. Also any other Big competitor would send decent amount of food for the 17£ your Box costs. Kfc , Dominos u name it. This restaurant has to come down to earth. Not going to order from them anymore.The only reason i didn't take it back upon delivery is because i just sold my car, otherwise i would have.

Food is ok. But don't come to eat with friends if you do not finish in 1.5hours. otherwise you will get a parking fine We spent around 200 pounds for 3 families. And stayed 10 minutes longer than they are letting. Got to pay 100 pounds.

After several quality kebabs over past few months I got one I can only describe as inedible. It was full of hard crunchy bits of I think beef.
