Beautiful little hidden gem , Waitress was lovely sorry didnt get your name from greeting us till we went , food amazing from starters , calamari , prawns , bread , mains wow barbercued lamb ribs wow , ckicken wings , cocktails best ive tasted and “ really stong “ and priced well lovely place music was good as well in back ground had a lovely family meal will return thank you xxx

Absolutely love this place. Chilled out calm relaxed atmosphere. Great friendly staff. Food is amazing and really cheap for the amount and taste... can't beat a nice pint of san Miguel with some nice food. Taking my family and dog tomorrow.... the also have yogo classes and ice bath sessions.... top top place.

Waited 10 mins for steak pie it was cold don't bother unless you got two hour dinner slow service

Mr Waffle is probably the best dessert bar in the area. The portion sizes are good, the tastes are perfect and the milkshakes are absolutely amazing. They have a great range of chocolate and sweet themed milkshakes, and they're definitely the best I've had. The only downside is that the opening hours can be a bit hit and miss, but when they're open, perfect!

The establishment was immaculate, I've never seen a place as clean as Sam's. Food portions (chips), large. Food quality (chips) 50 50. What you could eat was very good but unfortunately there was quite a few crispy bits in there so about a third of the chips had to be thrown away. Would I go back, not really.

Tonight's search for the perfect chippie took me to Lams, Carr Meadow Hey. I've got to ask why chippies seem to find it so difficult to make edible chips and Lams didn't disappoint. I ordered my usual meal of steak and kidney pie and chips, oh yeah I asked for a sausage for my dog. When I got them home and put them on the plate I can only say that the chips were awful, on a par, or even worse than Peep's. After picking out the crisps, bits and even chips still with the peel on I was barely left with enough chips to go on a small plate. On the plus side, the pie was nice. Oh yeah.... the sausage, the dog wouldn't touch it. The search goes on.

Occasional hair in your fried rice but that's it

1st time for this restaurant and not disappointed at all absolutely delicious , place is spotlessly clean staff very attentive the food was hot and plentiful we had our staters brought out with the meals so had a pick of everything we have passed this place a thousand times now we know we will be back a thousand more thankyou very much for a lovely meal

Possibly the best micro pub in liverpool. Great atmosphere, staff and lovely locals. boo the resident dog is a star. Love the quiz night despite not knowing much myself my amazing team make the evening a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Everyone here just gets along. Best pub on south road.
