We were disappointed after our son raved about the pizza from 600ā°.
We ordered a diavola pizza with extra uduja and chilli oil.
The toppings were very thin, so much so that the tomato on the base was really dominant and the pizza was soggy.
It was quite tasty which saved the rating somewhat.
We arrived and we were greeted by a nice, chatty young man at the bar. We got taken upstairs by a lovely, smiley waitress. The initial plan was to just have a couple of gyros, but we decided to go for the platter for two. For only £26 you get salad, dips, souvlaki, gyros, sausages, halloumi, chips, rice & bread. Bargain. Was really tasty too, plus the bar menu was decent prices too. Top notch, will defo come back. Was told about this place by a couple we met on holiday, glad they did.
Just ordered a takeaway (this is not a restaurant) from here and was pleasantly impressed. Only been open a few months, premises are clean, staff were friendly, food was ready when they said it would be. I collected my order.
Samosas and onion bhajis were crispy, pilau rice was fragrant and fresh. Chicken madras could have been hotter but was tasty nevertheless. Chicken tikka massala was also very tasty, only maybe missing some onions or a little veg, but chicken pieces were tender thighs, so a thumbs up there. These additions would have made it 5 out of 5!!
All in all, a tasty meal at a reasonable price, from a clean premises, hope it continues and I wish them luck with the new venture. I will return!!
Fantastic service, food amazing. Now I know you're dog friendly we'll definitely be seeing you soon!
Got to chill with a glass of wine while my takeaway was being prepared š
I am still owed money for non-delivery after 4 weeks and am being ignored.
Ordered takeaway in early April via the website as I usually do. It never arrived and after a few hours I phoned up to receive the answering phone message that the business is closed for over a month.
I sent in an email requesting a refund, and the reply suggested I should have seen the closure all over social media but they assured me I had been refunded. I have still not been refunded.
I don't have social media, I don't order food over social media. If your closure is not shown on your website and your website is taking orders, this is entirely your fault and not mine. You still owe me money.
I left it almost 4 weeks before giving a bad review to give you time to rectify the situation, but since you're ignoring my emails I don't have a choice.
Taking my order the maitre dā stated that she would not accept my request for a medium steak. She said āwhat colour do you want it red or brown ? This is the way we do it as weāve had so many complaintsā. What a ridiculous state of affairs. Iāve been to restaurants all over the world for 50 years and have never come across such a moronic attitude. Itās not my responsibility if some of her previous customers donāt know how to order steak and complain stupidly, but I shouldnāt have to bear the consequences of that and be treated like a child. I wonāt be returning.
Everything was lovely until meatballs. My wife couldnt eat them. Then i wanted to try as well. It was like a herb and packed beef/lamb mince mixture. So basic and flavourless. For our taste, it was inedible. I will not diminish their service or atmosphere because we had a lovely chat with Memati. Service was also good. So 4 star with a maybe to visit again.
