Great Bar with great Craft options visited for Ipswich Town match at Old trafford. Deffo would come back next time

Came here for a friend's birthday which coincided with mothers day. Just want to say a massive thank you to AJ for helping me with my booking and welcoming us with his great energy! Food was spot on (friend ate the vegan burger to suit her dietary needs) and the bar staff were all so lovely. I will definitely visit again!

Pre theatre visit, enjoyed a selection of sushi, gyozas, salt and pepper fries and a katsu curry. Shared between 3 and all fabulous. Really lovely staff too.

The staff are always rude and keep messing up my order

Two bad experiences in a row. Our last takeaway order we actually received was really disappointing. Instead of roast pork or char siu, the "pork" was Spam... Then we thought we'd try again tonight, and they rejected our order online.

Once again the prices have gone up which I get but answer me this, why is it The Old Plough you pay £5.75 for a pint of Stella yet the SAM Brookes a mile away has happy hour 7 days a week including Stella at half price. Just because the plough is one of the few that keep The Hyde’s legacy going they feel it’s ok to put the prices up so high yet not offer the same happy hours as other outlets. The cross keys is another, as I’m sure there are more. Honestly if one price is good enough for one pub then it’s good enough for all of them. Remind yourselves of the pubs that keep The Hyde’s logo going and give a bit back to the customers in those establishments instead of pricing them out to drink elsewhere

Called in before a show at The Lowry, was very quiet as we were early on a Tuesday, free parking for one hour which really should be longer, the staff greeted us with a smile and were very friendly, the restaurant is very well presented and clean, the food was spot on, I had a chicken tikka balti, perfectly spiced and delicious, but what made it special was the Naan bread, best I've ever had and that's saying something, very reasonably priced as well, will definitely be back.

Roast House is a solid late-night spot when you're craving comfort food without breaking the bank. Their prices are fantastic, making it an easy go to when you want something quick and filling. While the food isn't the best ,like the cheese not quite melting and the fries being just okay, the fact that they're open all night makes up for it. Sometimes, you just need a reliable place to grab a bite, and Roast House delivers on that. If you're looking for an affordable and convenient late night option, this place is worth a try

Location ideal comfortable bed nice clean room lovely staff especially the guy on breakfast who was so pleasant to everyone. The breakfast was fantastic. For the price you couldn’t fault it.

I had a fun night out at the Matchstick Man near Media City. I’ll tell you what the steak is a really lovely cut. This comes Courtesy of chef Dylan on the chain around and including Joe , and some amazing staff. The chips with my 11 ounce steak was really crispy and the peppercorn sauce was a little bit of a twist a little bit spicy and a little bit excellent actually very excellent thinking about it With garden peas on the side and a generous splattering of onion rings it was a veritable fee to say the least Beautiful wine, but a very good price I will continue to come back to the superb restaurant / public house. Did I mention the puddings? Well I will now because the cheesecake is absolutely marvellous. Okay this is the wrong way round but the chicken wing starter was awesome. My whole meal with drink came in less than £25 and I am most impressed by this , especially near Media City If this is the standard of the food in the area, bring it on

Mum and I were on a coach trip to the Lowry and looking for a non spicy lunch for her as she's very sensitive to the spices they seem to put in everything these days. We chose Cafe Rouge for this reason as it seems to be simple classic food. She had the Demi Poulet and I had a Duck Confit. Both dishes were superbly cooked and full of flavour, proper comfort food! We also had a glass of red wine which was divine too. We shared a Creme Brûlée for dessert, also delicious. The only thing is that we waited a bit long for the food, almost finished a full glass of wine before it came, so we had to order another. I suspect these dishes were so good because they take time to cook, but an accurate estimate of the wait and a recommendation of nibbles if you're hungry would have been appreciated. We also waited for the wine, the dessert menu and again for the bill and had to remind each time. The staff are very relaxed and don't rush you, but if you are on the clock not to miss your coach like we were, it can be a bit stressful to keep having to remind all the time. Would have been 5 stars otherwise!
