We had an absolutely fantastic experience thanks to our server, Yiannis! From the moment we sat down, Yiannis made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. His friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and genuine passion for great service really stood out. He was knowledgeable about the menu, offered great recommendations, and ensured everything arrived just as we wanted it.

The highlight was out waitress, Ash. Most efficient, friendly and professional. Impressive was the way she took the order from seven adult men, all different, some had two courses, one after the other without hesitation or writing it down. She heard it once in each case and the food was served exactly as ordered.

Good range of vegan options, and a gorgeous vegan pizza (Vegan Vegetariana). The food is great, the service speedy, and the staff are staff. Yiannis stands out in particular as being friendly, chatty, funny, and attentive and it is always a joy when he serves us. Well worth visiting this restaurant.

Visited Bella Italia during the Manchester Marathon — and honestly, getting served felt like a marathon. Food was a win though! I had the Pollo Funghi — funky pasta shape absolutely stealing the limelight like a pasta-shaped diva. One friend had the calzone, which they basically wanted to propose to, and the chicken, ham, and mushroom pizza was a solid contender — with an “okay.” Now, service… imagine a magic trick where the waitress disappears and doesn’t come back for the grand finale. We were all geared up for dessert, but after some impressive waving, eyebrow raising, and mild telepathy attempts, we admitted defeat and just chased the bill instead. Overall: tasty food, marathon vibes, and a great night for anyone who enjoys pasta and a bit of hide-and-seek. 3 stars — would try again on a less chaotic day!

Had a lovely birthday lunch here, the food is fairly straightforward as you might expect but still very tasty. The pizzas are a good lunch option as their thin crusts mean they're not too filling. Special thanks to our server Joanna who was very warm & welcoming :)

Fabulous experience at The Lowry Bella Italian. We usually go to the one in Blackpool, so it’s the first time we’ve been here. We would definitely go again, mostly because the members of staff - Joanna ( from Poland), was super. Joanna was very friendly, helpful, efficient etc. fab. The food was quite delicious. I ordered goat cheese pasta and coleslaw as a side. The staff looked neat and nice. There weren't many people and mostly families. Going there again for sure on my next trip to Manchester.

Lovely pre-theatre lunch at this great restaurant. Excellent selection of food on the £19.95 two course set menu - bruschetta with lots of topping, delicious garden salad with roasted vegetables and chicken. Service friendly and professional as always, especially Yiannis - highly recommended!

I visited with a friend before a show at the Lowry and was blown away with the service provided by Yannis. He was so incredibly hard working, and despite the restaurant being absolutely packed, he made sure to make us feel relaxed and welcome. Too often I think the staff accidentally relay some of their stress in the body language and dialect when restaurants are busy but Yannis was the text-book definition of service with a smile.

Guter Kaffee - sehr nette Bedienung. Pizza not bad either. Good idea to offer half pizza and salad. The rest of the pizza tends to be cold anyway by the time you've finished it. One improvement I'd offer: the "background" music is far too loud.

I was served by Yiannis today, he was very kind and helpful. The service was great, we were seated straight away and seen to by Yiannis almost immediately to check if we had any allergies and then soon after to take our order. Our drinks were given to us fairly fast followed by our food. The food was lovely and fresh and the drinks were really good as well, both alcoholic and soft drinks. The restaurant itself was very cleanly and overall had a really good experience. I would definitely come again.

My favourite Bella meal so far! Started off with a warm welcome from the staff and even though they was busy everything was done in a timely manner. Main courses were perfect just perfect really do like the vegan meatballs. A couple of cocktails and with the gourmet society card cheapest of our few days away. The passion martini was very smooth one of the best ones I've had. Main course delivered too and had an Italian Gin! Wow full of flavour. Highly recommend thanks to all the staff see you again soon! Amazing visit at Bella Italia, Salford Quays! I have allergies to nuts, gluten, tomatoes and milk, the staff were amazing and very accommodating! The chefs made sure all the food was perfect for us. My mum also has an allergy to gluten and milk and my daughter is coeliac too. Nothing was an issue, the mangers there as well as the staff are fantastic, I want to especially thank Andy, Ash and Ollie for their knowledge and customer service! The manager even wrote it down so next time we come in I know what to order and how to communicate it to the waiting on staff. We can the first week of January, apologies for the late review. I recommend this restaurant, the service is incredible, the food is delicious and the managers are extremely knowledgable, efficient and understanding. Thank you Sue.

Lovely staff. However we ordered three pizzas. The pepperoni topping was sparse and the base was dried up and solid. The chicken pizza was less dry with uncooked crusts. Again the topping was negligible. The veggie was the best but again short on the topping. Won’t eat there again.

Food was delicious (Marco pollo and cannelini). Joanne was a lovely server.

We were here early (first ones in - gotta love early morning pasta). Joanne took great care of us. Food was great, place was clean and tidy, music was at a volume that didn't have me screaming at my wife across the table. Would recommend.
