Express Chippy in Salford

Lovely staff however fish was very eggy and didn’t taste like fish. Chips were okay.

Wow won’t be going back here 14 quid for 2 sausage chips n curry waited half a hour asked for menu to check the price no menus so clearly just making prices up got told to look on just eat went on the menu online worked out should have only been about 9 quid absolute joke over charging so they can pay the 10 ppl working there

Well don't even know where to start food was cold what was supposed to be curry wasn't the fish was burnt the chips were that greasy couldn't eat them only thing was OK to eat was the peas the food all.in all greasy cold an burnt

Worst chippy ever only came in cos it used to be nice but there’s new owners and only wanted chips and curry and a chip barm and I got shouted out for changing from curry to gravy before he even put it on he used the last bit of old chips for this and just left my food on the side while we waited for new chips for the chip barm for about 20/25 mins while we was waiting they was all whispering and being very strange which made me feel uncomfortable so I left it and drove off and they all watched at the window as I drove off all 3 of them I will never go this place again !!!!

I hope the new staff are temporary because everything today was rank. Greasy stale chips that had clearly sat for while. Microwaved donner meat. Over cooked chicken. Cheap store bought naan. Compared to previous visits am soo disappointed.

I have visited this restaurant and as well as doing excellent delivery and take away the restaurant is spotlessly clean, the food is fresh and halal and the staff are really pleasant and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

The crust on chicken pieces was very thick and hard.

I'm not sure if meat suppliers have changed recently, however the kebab I recently ordered had not one, but two pieces of meat that had pieces of teeth inside. I'm not blaming the restaurant, because this isn't something that can reliably be foreseen, but this is making me reconsider future purchases.

This was the first time having food from here it was really good came hot and was lovely chips was good and curry was just right would definitely order again from here👍

Normally love the food but was really disappointed today food was cold,I ordered chicken and chips for my daughter and when I opened it there was 2 soggy scallops shoved on top of it, unless the food quality is dealt with will not be ordering from here again.

Absolutely disgusting.. right so just been in for fish & chips, it didn't look very clean, there was hardly any food in the display cabinets, no price list, something was covering it all, also it was back to front! Had to wait for the fish, which is perfectly understandable, infact, personally I think that is a lot better when buying fish. However, I was very wrong! The batter around the fish looked & smelled weird, not like any I've seen before, it tasted fusty! The fish inside was pink in colour, quite obviously not cooked properly & the chips were old & cold! Atrociously poor quality all round.

First time we have ordered from here and certainly the last. Cold greasy vile tasting battered sausage, fish & chips were cold oily & dripping in grease which tasted revolting. Cheese & onion pie was again cold & very dry. Mushy peas were cold & tasteless but another thing is that I've never known anyone who has mushy peas on the menu to use bright green colouring in the peas. The only thing tha they got right was the curry sause & the gravy. Everything else we ordered went straight in the bin.

The Donner meat was a little cold and the Donner kebab would have been better delivered in a pizza box other than that the food was good I will use again

The best ever! I love your food!

Food came on time and the order was correct however the fish was undercooked and had to be finished off in the microwave. Chips were OK but the quality of the fish was very poor and had a slimy texture.. Curry sauce wasn't great either. Steak pie arrived warm. First time using this chippy and looked forward to it after previous reviews but overall very disappointing.

1 of our fish & chips orders were undone. Called the restaurant and they apologised and said there is nothing they can do. Very disappointed as I had to throw away a meal for 1 us in the house.

Delivery driver didn't social distance. Food was appalling. naan on kebab hadnt been warmed prior to putting meat on, tough chewy meat, chips undercooked, peas cold and as for the fish... I needed a straw! it was fishy slop cooked inside some gooey batter. absolutely vile! Usually not bad this place, this time it was very poor.

The best thing about this place was the fast delivery time, chips and how hot the food still was. The chicken tikka is bland and very dry and the southern fried, spicy chicken wings are basically just wings that have been coated in the same batter the fish go in. Nothing spicy or southern fried about them. Totally false advertisement and money well wasted.

So I've ate from here twice now and the service was polite. Tonight's food was good and cooked well but just had one problem and that was with the fish it didn't seem as fresh as last time I had it but was okay though also I think they could improve by having the drinks brought cold instead of room temperature, so other than that no problems and I probably will be ordering again from here and it maybe the best chippy in my area.

Though the foods always piping hot, I find it a little to bland for my taste. I always find that the chips are dry to, often having to wash them down with a drink so I don't choke. The staff are polite though.

1st and last time, kebab meat dry and over cooked,strange taste even my dogs didn't eat it, chips were soggie. If you order fish and chips there £4.80, if you order them separately like I did they are £4.50 , how may other people have not noticed being ripped off, fish batter was not even crispy. very poor quality of food

The food was awful the chicken was dry and really hard the batter was soft and greenish looking ended up sended my partner back for a normal cheese burger but that tastes like onion rings. Just awful never ordering again.
