Pizzology Manchester in Salford

Truly, truly awful. They accepted a delivery order when they didn't have a driver to deliver it and didn't even bother to let us know. Couldn't get through to the shop and after 2 hours with no food had to go through foodhub to get a refund - and even they had trouble getting in touch with the shop. This place used to be great, it's a shame.

Never again, do not trust this place they said they had delivered but I was stood outside for 30 minutes no cars arrived. Then they turn up in a car with smashed windows and with a passenger smoking. I then had s**ts from the food. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I wish I could give 0 stars, do not get food from the place!! Took 2 and a half hours to get to us and they kept lying about the food being “15 minutes” away and supposed traffic even though there wasn’t any. They kept lying about phoning the driver to check where they werw. The food finally came and it was the wrong order. The pizza was falling apart and cold. The taste was bland and not nice. Avoid this place!!

Took 2 hours to arrive and was stone cold when we got it. The pizza is nice but the wedges were a big let down. Been ordering from here for years but probably won't again, which is a shame as the provide great vegan options

Absolutely horrendous. Complete liars. Do not buy from here. Placed an order on deliveroo, and still nothing has arrived over 2 .5 hours later. After a third time calling the store for an update the employee on the phone told me "The delivery driver arrived and called you, but you didn't answer". I said no call was missed, so then he passed me on to the driver who said "I called, someone else answered and directed me to their address where the food was delivered. Must've been a technical issue that redirected the call to someone else. But the food was delivered" Both are complete lies. My phone number has worked for every other driver calling through deliveroo. But that's not the best bit!!! During this call I clarified my address with the delivery driver, he said yes, that's the exact address he arrived outside, then said he "couldn't tell which house was mine and must've gone to a different house"... but if he'd actually bothered to travel to my delivery address he would've seen that there are no houses here!!! It's a shopping high street, no "wrong front doors" to knock on. No houses at all. No front gates. My delivery address is a HIGH STREET SHOP with bright neon lights and a huge window I can see the street from, and see that no one arrived outside. Just, why lie to me? Multiple times. If the food isn't made and you're not planning on delivering it, just say so. Stop conning people out of money, lying that it's been accidentally delivered to the wrong house and that's "none of your fault". Now I'm fuming, £30 short and hungry.

Avoid. We ordered food at 7pm, estimated was 7:45. At 7:50, i called the restaurant to see where my order was, they said it was on the way. Another 30minutes past (we are 15minutes from the restuarant), so i called again. The person on the phone said, it was about to leave the store. I said okay. Another 30minutes past. My Partner called, and they said 'we attempted to deliver but no one opened the gate' - first issue, I don't have a gate! They said they tried to call, yet I had no missed calls at all. I asked them to please just cancel it, as I was by then sick of them lieing to me on the phone and didn't trust any food they would give me, and they refused. I contacted deliveroo support, who said that the restaurant would need to say its okay to cancel and they have declined. I had to call the restaurant AGAIN, and tell them to cancel it. The person on the phone said he didnt know how, I told him that when deliveroo call, just say YES, and he said fine. It was then cancelled. SO i am hungry, and annoyed. DO NOT PUT YOURSELF THROUGH ORDERING FROM HERE! Liars, Theives, and I have no review on the food, because I didnt get any!

I ordered pizza online,and I was blown away by their new pizza! It arrived hot and fresh, with a perfectly crispy crust, generous and flavorful toppings, and the perfect balance of seasonings. The attention to quality and taste really stood out.

Took over 90 mins to arrive and arrived lukewarm. Such a shame… these guys were literally red hot

took 45 mins from leaving takeaway to be delivered. pizza and 2 sides completely cold. takeaway doesn't answer their phone. Also one if my extra toppings wasn't on pizza. chilli flakes. Will think hard if I ever order from there again

Me and my cousin were really hungry, and we got a half beef and half chicken pizza with a hit cookie dough on the side, we enjoyed the food !

I ordered for delivery and added instructions for the driver when they arrived yet the app has logged the order for collection. I am disabled and live alone so unable to collect the order. the number for the restaurant is constantly "unavailable" to arrange delivery. just eat customer service just said computer says no. awful experience all round and a waste of the discount from my loyalty stamps. unacceptable!!!!!!!

Have been ordering from here regularly for a long time. Pizza used to be great and arrive quickly. But for whatever reason the food quality has massively declined and the service is awful. Waited over 2 hours for a pizza last week, said it was out for delivery for about 40 mins and then arrived cold. They've lost a customer! Wont be ordering my weekly pizza from here anymore.

DO NOT ORDER!!! Waited an hour and a half for cold food. When it arrived the delivery driver has it just in the back of his car, no insulated bag or anything. The superoni pizza (12 inch) had about 7 pieces of pepperoni on it and the other pizza ordered had loads of onions on it (even though we had requested none). Pizzology would imply they know something about how to make a good pizza, however I could get better pizza from my local kebab shop. Incredibly expensive considering the abismal standard, very disappointing. I will never be ordering from here again

We ordered 2 pizzas and 1 chips on deliveroo, said it would take 1 hour, (which is crazy because it's just down the road) and then once it wasn't delivered in the time said, we called the restaurant. They then responded saying it would take another 15 minutes, after 30 minutes called again and they said another 5 minutes and another 15 mins went past and they finally arrived after forgetting the portion of chips. We then called looking for a refund and they hung up on us. Definitely wouldn't recommend. Very unreliable.

Ordered Pizza today three hours ago and still unaware is my pizza!!! Pathetic service!!! Girl on the phone could not even confirm if the order has been picked or not!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Terrible service. Ordered via Uber eats, the store deliver themselves. They attempted to deliver but were unable. Did not get in touch with me or update the app to inform me that they were here. Called the store with zero help. Couldn’t help with a refund either

3 hours wait on an online order for a pizza what a joke

The pizza is usually very delicious, I'm not sure if the cheese has changed recently but it tasted grainy.

Pizza was awful, cheese texture was weird, no cheesey pull, think it might have as vegan cheese mixed in, felt almost curdled, very strange texture, wouldn’t order from here again. The crust was the best part of the pizza

Was in here the other day for donner meat, no word of a lie the owner brings it out in a tub and puts it in the microwave, what takeaway sells microwave food let alone donner meat? 😂😂😅

Nice food. I appreciate the vegetarian and vegan options. My cat was determined to steal the dough balls, which counts as his recommendation. Can also recommend the Invisible Chips, which are a really cute idea.

I ordered stuffed crust but got super thin stuffed crust. Both pizzas were very hard to chew, like stale bread. I have contacted just eat to get a refund.

Just an awful experience. Ordered it, never received it. Spoilt our night. Review amended: the 2 pizzas arrived very late, after we all left, one was as ordered, the other one was just a random cheese and anchovies. Still very poor. Will never try again.

We ordered through deliveroo, was told it would be ready after 30 mins, after.thst time was told it would be 10 minutes... After 2 hours we are still awaiting for our delivery... We have spoken to the shop multiple times and yet we are still awaiting our delivery... The shop still has no idea where our food is!

Very poor food if I’m honest. For a 9inch pizza it was size of a 7inch, it was very cold and full of oil. I also ordered loaded fries, that was 6 fat chips, burnt cheese to the point it was stuck solid to the grease paper underneath and again very cold and uneatable. I only live less than a five minute drive as well but still was delivered cold. Certainly not worth £17 for what I ordered, very disappointing.

First time ordering from Pizzology and I can only sum it up as being pizza roulette! What time will the pizza be delivered? and what will the delivery driver hand to me? Neither the delivery time or order where as requested. Anyway, regardless of this USP, the pizzas actually tasted very good and will last me much longer than I originally thought.

Base was like cardboard, pizzas were really poor. Wouldn’t buy from there again.

Amazing pizzas as always, tasty, hot and everyone enjoyed eating whilst on a break at work. thank for such a speedy delivery. If possible next time we order , as there is always a lot of pizzas can you write on the box which is which to help us out. Thanks for the free wedges too
