It was raining at the cricket so we popped in here for lunch. Our friend loves his craft beers so we thought we'd have a look in case we returned here later, however the selection is very poor. We had lunch, my husband and friend had the hot dog and I had the vegetable soup (the only one on offer), which I had to send back as it was barely luke warm. It was OK but a little peppery. I know it was lunchtime on a random Thursday lunchtime but the place was empty and cold. We decided not to return that evening!

Rip off £9.00 for a peroni and a can of 7 up . There's making a profit and taking the absolute piss .no need would not recommend to anyone

I went to Manchester first time yesterday evening, came across this pub and the only gluten free thing listed was chips. I asked them are they cooked in a separate fryer? "Um no they're not they're cooked in the same fryer" As soon as I questioned further why is it still listed as gluten free, they tried saving their backsides by saying oh we sometimes have a separate fryer. At the end the day they're still listing something as gluten free when it's not safe, some people might not ask and could have a bad reaction..

A bit disappointing with the beer selection, no stouts except Guinness in a can. The one real ale was nice. But not into hoppy ipa's so that was it...

Over £16 for two pints, which is the most I’ve ever paid for beer in the UK I think.

Poor service, atmosphere and limited choice of drinks and food. Much better options nearby.

Located opposite the Lowry this small bar had a limited selection of draft beers but was pleasant.

We popped in for a few drinks, a wide range of beers for different tastes, my wife who isn’t a beer drinker found something to try and liked. Good atmosphere and friendly staff.

Walked in on chance not to busy and got seats staff friendly and helpful did not eat on this occasion had a few beers and a hot chocolate bot not over priced but will definitely be back

Great little bar with a wide choice of drinks. I'm a rum drinker, and I tasted some of the best flavoured rum in there, great atmosphere. Great staff

Nice location but staff not good, went in at 21.30 ask what time they closed and was told 22.30, asked for drinks at 22.25 only to be told the bar had closed

This bar is in quite a busy part of the Quays and can be really busy at the weekend. The staff are always super friendly and there is a good selection of drinks. Some nice tables outside too for the one day of the year when it's sunny.

We were going to a show at The Lowery on Thursday the 11th May and stopped for a drink here. First of all I managed to get a Gluten Free larger and that’s rare . The lad rescuing us was really friendly and even changed my phone when it was clear my phone hasn’t charged properly and out tickets were on my phone . After the show we came back to this bar with other people we met at the shown and stayed till closing . Great venue

Friendly lad working behind the bar on my Sunday evening visit. 75% full and was just right for drinks before and after the gig. Will return here again instead of the Lowry theatre bar. Nice decor.

Didn't have any food but it did look and smell good

The peroni on draft is first class. The food is absolutely delicious. Staff are great. We love it here. The menu is varied and snack type food but filling. It is excellent value for money and lovely and fresh.

31/10/22: a quick stop off before watching The Shawshank Redemption at The Lowry. Quite a poor selection of draft craft ale. The name does not depict the venue and sadly lets it down. About 4 craft ale lines, the rest was lager. Standard brews, nothing out of the ordinary. However, they did have a fully stocked beer fridge with cans and bottles. I felt we would have been better suited staying in The Dockyard that had plenty more choice on draft. Chose to have Polly's Brewery pale ale and a Best Bitter.

Nice little pub just outside the lowry. Decent selection of beers. Plenty of seating. Staff greeted us with a friendly smile.

Best glass of wine I'd had all night !

We called in for a drink after a show at the Lowry. One of the staff helped us out with bringing the wine and glasses out to us. At the end of the night we needed to find a taxi to get us back to our digs. One of the staff gave us phone numbers and we got home safely. Great little bar.

Friendly staff good food reasonable prices pop in

Terribly understaffed. Missed opportunity for them really as graduation ceremonies were taking place at the Lowry.

Modern cafe/bar. Good seat by window and I had Paulaner beers. Rather disappointed in choice of draught beers for a "Craft" bar - only two that I could see and one of them was Hobgoblin.

Walked in and ignored by everyone. No acknowledgement. Wasn't busy either. So moved on to a more customer focused location. Visited 2nd June 2022 14:20

came in today with mum we r both tea total so we had two pots of tea. A nicely furnished cafe/bar we sat on 2 comfy seats is nice when it's warm to sit outside. Might try some food next time we come to the lowry. Came in again today had our usual pot of tea and we ordered food it was lovely I had a chicken wrap and mum had a cheese and ham toastie. We went in again before we went home and had another hot drink. I would highly recommend it's my favourite eating and drinking place it's always clean and the staff are pleasant. I might try it at night time one day

A young man was serving us and he was absolutely lovely! The service he provided with a smile made our night after a show at the Lowry. Would definitely recommend to a friend, brilliant ! :)

We come to this bar quite often and after having read some of the reviews about bad customer service, I’m quite shocked! We’ve never experienced bad customer service since coming in here. Always nice to us and go out of their way. The food is really nice and they have a lot of choice for beverages!

Great little hidden gem in Salford Quays - great beer, bar food, and service. Just an update here, there's a new menu and it's very good.

Decent place for drinks before the lowry. Not really a craft beer place, it has some cans in the fridge. But maybe the name is referring to coffee? Probably.

Decent looking bar with only one real ale but when it's Thornbridge's Lord Marples on good form you don't really need a big range.

This is a great place with excellent service. The owner is extremely friendly and runs a lovely bar. Highly recommended!!

Avoid this place. Went for a after show drink, and should have realised this place is not intrested in customer service. We had to clean our own table. While staff stood at the bar watching. Then told we could not order more drinks at 11.30 as they had closed.!!!!

Avoid at any cost. Bad costumer service. Very arrogant man behind the bar. Table not cleared. Been told no more drinks around 11 pm.

Good friendly and helpful service

Attended Private Functions on both occasions and can honestly say it's a great place. The atmosphere, service, surroundings are lovely. Nothing too much trouble, staff very friendly and efficient. Definitely would recommend a visit.

Disgusting, diabolical customer service... and even worse, includes that of the Manager! 2 of us sat down to eat and drink on Sunday, prior to a vist to the Theatre. All good, until football fans came in and then we were told no more food orders being taken as they were so busy. Bearing in mind it was only ten minutes before we advised a member of staff behind the bar, we were just waiting for 2 others of our party before we could order ( one of which was 82 years of age) When we questioned why did they take our credit card to secure payment of food and drink if they were intended to stop food orders , all but one member of staff, actually became very aggressive. They did not charge us for our drinks, quite right too. Having said that, the Manager then told all 4 of us, including my 82 year old Aunt ' there is the door' We were gobsmacked! Never experienced such awful, rude behaviour from a member of staff anywhere, particularly the Manager, who was so arrogant to admit to being the Manager!! Shocking.

I have just been told “there’s the door” by the owner. To quote “I own the place” because we wanted to order food. Do not give this place your custom. AVOID

Wouldnt recommend you take a special trip out for this place but if you are in the area, it's really nice. Nice beers and wines, lovely service and an outside terrace too and right opposite the Lowry. The olives were very good too, and dont know why i should be surprised by that?

Was looking at a few places for a quick bite to eat. This place is great, cheap food and a wide range of drinks. Can't fault it

Truly well disposed little spot for easygoing feasting and beverages. Newly prepared food. Perfect and awesome assistance. A secret diamond! Will make this spot a normal frequent for breakfast and lunch in inclination to the chains. Wish I'd saw it previously!

Booked Craftbrew for a wake and the staff were brilliant. We got so many comments from family and friends about how great the venue was, the staff and everyone loved the buffet! Thank you so much for everything, my grandad would have loved the party.

Visited on a Tuesday afternoon after the IWM. Bar and outside was quiet only a couple of tables occupied. The food was great. Really good quality for the toastie thick cut bread and good amount of ham& cheese and the chicken and avo wrap was perfect. Chips were really nice and Portion sizes were generous. Food was brought out quickly. Bar man was pleasant and accommodating. Really nice relaxed atmosphere and great value for money.

Good food and coffee, love the atmosphere too. I visited during the daytime but I’ll be returning at some point to experience the evening vibes. Would highly recommend.

Dropped in on a Friday night for some food and to kill time before heading into the cinema. Whole experience was great, staff were attentive, friendly but also laid back. The food we had was fresh and tasty and the drink selection was excellent. With popping in for a couple of you're in the area, for sure.

Lovely few hours sitting here in the sun. Staff were helpful and food was good. We were eating out on the evening so just shared nachos and fries which were lovely. Would definitely visit again.

Passing numerous joggers with wildly varying priorities from my own, on my journey to media city, I finally located Craftbrew and bagged one of the few available tables. Everything that sounded great on the menu included meat but ever the quasi vegetarian; I managed to avoid the temptations of the flesh and ordered Veg Fritata and Wedges which proved to be a good if unspectacular option and the latter came with Bacon on which I just cracked on and ate.The beers served up were good but slightly expensive at £4 a pint and although there was a wide range of cans, one of the beers had run out (Manchester Union) and I was expecting a few more options on tap/ draft.

Really friendly little place for casual dining and drinks. Freshly cooked food. Clean and very good service. A hidden gem! Will make this place a regular haunt for breakfast and lunch in preference to the chains. Wish I'd noticed it before!

Lovely place friendly staff great service

Just been for lunch, shared a chicken wrap, meatballs and salt and pepper chips, all the food was really good, presented well and hot. There was a young lady on her own serving a few tables, she did great, we didn’t wait long at all for drinks or food. Usually visit Craft Brew on Saturday afternoon just for drinks but thought we would have a change, will definitely have lunch there again.

Sadly non dairy coffee was very poor, more barista training would go a long way

Good beer and food - safe distancing measures good too

This made a very pleasant change for a meal at the Lowry Outlet, the weather was very chageable and the service was excellent as well. Try something different for a change and enjoy it.

Called here instead of having a drink in the Lowry Bar before Theatre. Early evening saw mostly people finishing work for a quick drink and bite to eat. Staff friendly and good atmosphere.

Nice place for lunchtime drink, decent range of beers although was served by serious young lady in a cap that had lost the ability to converse.

Craft Brew is a great place at Media City. Lovely atmosphere great to meet up with friends for good food and drinks. Definitely should go there Christmas market on each wkend till Christmas week. Lot's of shops and restaurants to choose from, plus theatre and cinema for all the family.

Average range of beers, kitchen closed early, not worth the trek for me.

We always go here when we visit the Lowry. The choice of beer is good, with a range of three handpumps (two from Marstons), and the place has an excellent range of food. The bar staff are friendly and efficient.

Called in when passing .nice & quiet at first.then picked up but nice atmosphere with people out for food or drink .to a rush of theatre goers calling in after show.just sat on comfy couch chatting.nice varied background playlist .owner seemed nice stopped for a chat .would reccomend.

Really nice beer fantastically expensive

Expensive and had just 2 'craft' beers on alongside the usual array of mainstream lagers. Lured in by the promise of more. Stayed for one and left.

The place was great, nearly three pints of Jaipur IPA later, my room is spinning. Staff were really friendly, beer good and music just right. I came for one, stayed for THREE , hopefully won't regret it tomorrow (please god).

Very good. Young lady & gentlemen very proffessional & friendly. As we where going to the theatre, they could of done with another pair of hands.

Their services are amazing, lovely staff, beautiful environment, I honestly would recommend Craftbrew a million times as a place to hangout.
