The best restaurants in Ordsall Salford North West

We visit this restaurant a couple of times a year and today it again lived well up to our expectations. The food was prepared to an excellent standard and the service was friendly, confident and efficient. A special mention for Lizzy who was very engaging and helped make our dining experience even more enjoyable.

Really lovely food I had the veggie burger and my partner has the duck breast. TR service from Elliot was great. Had an amazing evening.

The hotel is situated in the centre of Manchester in the medieval quarter close to the shopping district. Next to a canal, it has 23 floors with views of the city the higher you go . The rooms are of a standard layout but are larger than the usual rooms you find elsewhere . They're very clean although the only issue is that the hot water isn't instant . You have to let the water run for 5 minutes or so . Once you get hot water it is hit !!!! So worth the wait. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and a sincere thank you to Louis for his help . He couldn't do enough for me ... the food is excellent and freshly cooked with servers attending to your every need . I stay there due to work and will be staying again in another two weeks time . A very highly recommended hotel....see you soon.

Popped in for a drink after arriving in media city for a weekend trip. The barman (didn’t get his name) really looked after us. We wanted an off menu drink and it was absolutely no trouble at all. We were told to get comfy and it would be bought over to our table. We then moved in from outside and were a little chilly so he popped the heater on next to our table. We were only going to stay for one but stayed the whole evening, including something to eat. The cauliflower wings were AMAZING. Thank you to the barman working on Friday 21st March. He makes an amazing ‘Old Fashioned’ too …

Absolutely devasted to hear the news of this place closing down permanently! It was our regular spot while living at Lockside Lane for a whole year, we loved the food, loved the beers and loved the atmosphere, our pooch loved it there too! I’m glad SevenBro7hers is still running at other locations at least, because they’re a really great business overall. Lots of great memories at this place. They had a collage of Polaroid photos of all the dogs who visited, which they called the “wall of dogs” and it was such a lovely touch. Please open a new spot in Fallowfield! The students around here would love it! All good things must come to an end, I suppose… such a shame. Thank you for hosting us!

Had lunch at Media City branch today. Beautiful food, served and presented very well. Fab cocktails, the sweets were divine. Both servers were friendly, chatty and made our visit.

Massive issue with toilets, someone in hotel had obviously blocked the toilet pipes which caused our toilet to back up a lot. Reported this to staff several times and they said they couldn’t do anything. As a result of this we had to restrict how many times we went to the toilet. Not good considering be able to use the toilet is a necessity

A lovely place to have some lunch. The food, the staff and coffee are lovely and a cut above anything else in this area. A wonderful stainglass window creates a lovely light inside. Such a shame to learn it's going and I wish the staff the best of luck because they are all great.

I always rate Costa for the coffee higher than any other coffee shop, which is why I have their app. However, there are two major areas that let Costa down nationally. The first is the slow clearing of tables. The real biggy for me is the state of the loos!! The loo itself wasn't too bad however, I like to leave a loo clean for the next person and the problem was not the patrons but the loo brush holder had clearly not been emptied or cleaned in a long time. I'm sorry, but this indicates to me a lack of 'behind the scenes' cleanliness and is not acceptable. This is not unique to this store but is a national standard shortfall for Costa. It needs sorting higher up the chain.

terrible delivery, ordered food through the Deliveroo app, waited for an hour and a half for the order from this establishment, the quality of delivery is 0, it is impossible to get through to the restaurant by phone, don't even think about ordering food there, because they simply won't get through to this establishment by phone and you will still have to ask for a refund, the restaurant itself delivers, but does not answer calls and does not do anything and I never waited for my delivery, fortunately I got my money back
