Bento King M3 Store in Salford

Still waiting for my food over 1h30 after ordering… called half an hour ago and was told it would be another 10 minutes. I won’t be ordering again.

Yummy food, the duck was delicious!

Just delicious. We enjoyed the vegetarian dinner to the fullest.

I was worried I may not allow to be in with my dog but the staff there are so friendly and welcoming. deffo gonna come again! the best Chinese takeaway in manchester with that affordable price.

Food was bland with no taste and I always order bbq sauce to give the rice more flavour but even that tasted like diluted dishwater broth. Don’t get me wrong it isn’t the worst Chinese I’ve eaten but it’s probably the second. The prawn dumplings were good but yet again didn’t have flavour i wouldn’t know what it was if I didn’t order it.

Food looked amazing but it was all cold. Had to reheat everything which really spoilt the salt and pepper chips . Everything else was nice once we re heated it

A lot of the food has spilt, all the meat was very dry, left most of it. Prawn toast and noodles were very good though

Unfortunately I would not order again, a real waste of money:( I got crispy beef however it was chewy and hard with little to no beef in there at all. The egg fried rice wasn’t too greasy however it was just really really bland. The combo mix was also just not flavourful with chewy seaweed. Perhaps this is because I ordered later in the day so the food had been cooked too early? disappointed regardless! Had higher hopes🤷‍♀️

My favourite takeaway! Brilliant food. The delivery driver in the yellow car, as always, as big a highlight as the food too - lovely bloke, always rapid, and so friendly. Nice to have a personal touch/friendly face with a delivery in this day and age!

not sure how this place has good reviews - chicken was chewy and inedible, noodles were dry and the spring rolls had almost nothing but onions and tasted like they were made 2 days ago. I ate about 20% of my dinner and sadly had to leave the rest because it was so unenjoyable. 😢

Avoid at all costs, 3rd order from here, 2nd one was over 45 minutes delivery and stone cold, benefit of doubt, people get caught in traffic right? 3rd order sent chicken instead of prawn, called to explain, handed over to the manager i assume, explained i dont eat meat and sent chicken, response, chicken isnt meat?? Offered a replacement and asked to return the original! Absolutely! I dont eat meat!! No apology from either member of staff. No rice with replacement and prawns like leather

Driver said he tried to call but had no missed calls. Eventually we called the restaurant to see where the food was. He had returned the food to the restaurant. Second driver had no problem delivering. Very disappointing experience as a new customer

Very disappointed, order some food and still waiting, been over an hour, can’t track the driver and the restaurant is not answering phone calls!!!! Never ordering again !!!!!

Driver claimed they could not find the delivery address. The address is a house that is very easy to find on all map and navigation apps. It was just laziness. Food eventually arrived soggy and lukewarm - needed reheating. Will not use again.

The only reason why I am giving it 4 stars is the price. It is quite expensive for a Chinese takeaway however it does taste nice. I love the salt and pepper king prawns! The sesame prawn on toast is also good but sometimes a bit too oily

Expensive, I think due to location close to the city centre. Food, hit and miss. Sometimes really good and other times I wish I didn’t bother. Server was straight to the point and service felt very rushed.

I thought the satay and chips didnt feel fresh and the chicken felt .... not real. Just saying how it felt. The prawn and broccoli was awesome.

Great food - really fast service and helpful with changes to dishes (happy to take egg out of Singapore noodles when requested). Friendly, fast and delicious. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options - chinese standards like Tofu/ vegetables but also quorn. Highly recommended.

Second time ordering from here. Delivery took less than 15 minutes but to be fair, they are only down the road from me. I ordered chicken fried rice which looked very plain but surprisingly didn't taste 100% bland. Although it could really do with more flavour (maybe onions, peas, and more seasoning. It tasted more like egg fried rice. I asked for extra hot spicy but it was very mild instead. Now, my absolute pet peeve is soggy spring rolls. I liked the box packaging used but covering hot spring rolls in a box means the steam will make it soggy. Thankfully, due to the speed of the delivery, it meant they were able to deliver it just before it became soggy. The mini vegetable spring rolls tasted nice and very fresh. Recommendation: Please use the greaseproof paper bags for the mini spring rolls like other Chinese restaurants. It keeps it hot and doesn't become soft and soggy.

Really bad traffic, but really good food!

Work nights in a building on the same street, so use BentoKing weekly. Staff are always friendly, Food is prepared quickly and for a reasonable price, Food is also very tasty :) Highly recommend.

The Singapore fried rice was off

Seaweed was stale, egg fried rice bland, won ton soup.. the meat was really cheap tasting and over salty! The vegetable dumplings had fallen apart and there was 2 of them lol. Seriously worst £35 ever spent and that was with a 10% discount. The bbq ribs were the only nice and edible item we received, the meat fell off the bone and was very tasty. Wint be ordering again

Delivery took an hour and 20 mins to arrive and when it did arrive, it was cold. Really disappointing.

A bit meh, salt and pepper chicken quite bland. Noodles really good, spring rolls soggy but tasted alright, egg fried rice alright. And sent tango not Fanta which should be an arrestable offence haha! Filled a hole at midnight but won't order again

How can I review when I haven’t even received it

The food was cold and congealed on arrival. It needed reheating before it could be eaten. The delivery guy is always great and really polite, i can only assume this was a problem with the Takeaway as i was forced to chase for updates as none were provided.

Food here is always absolutely stunning. Always arrives so quick and piping hot. Slightly expensive but worth it 1000%

Absolutely bang average Chinese scran and double the average price. Tenner for a totally underwhelming chow mien. Don’t bother, it’s not worth the money.

I really like the food preparation in time and taste. Customer service is really good and helpful when I choosing what to order. The food is especially delicious.

We ordered in person and had the server repeat our order but they still got it wrong. Ordered specifically vegetarian items and they still served with meat in. Don't use.

Update: Review below was based on La Citta, not BentoKing. Absolutely love these guys! Food is always perfect, you definitely get your money's worth and the staff are so friendly and lovely! We've been coming here for 3 years- by far my most favourite place for pizza and kebabs! Love you guys, take care of yourselves xx
