Great location alongside extensive Salford Quays. Parking not Premier Inn but easy to organise and modest cost overnight. Great base to explore and motorways close, but can't hear. Room included bath with shower above.

I stayed here on the bank holiday weekend (26-28th May) - from computer glitch on 2 attempts to make payment and getting hold of reservation team (early signs were there) - when I spoke to reservation team on Friday 17 May 2024 regarding the initial booking I was told to do it over the phone only to discover the price had spiked by £40 - the lady on the call reassured me that due to my technical issue and seeing 2 attempts at a lower rate she would honor but because it was close to closing time the manager would only amend it on Monday or Tuesday and to expect 2 emails to expect a change on the new booking under “book now pay later” - the second email never arrived and when I called the initial number on Wednesday 22nd May the receptionist told me to call the reservation helpline which isn’t free. After a few attempts on the same number and different options keys pressed, I kept getting the same person and that’s when I attempted the a hotline given - this number was not free and I had to call O2 to unblock my spending cap to make this expensive call which charged me 13p per min and 65p from my O2 service - after several attempts I spent majority of my spending cap on hold and listening to the automated voice, in the end I only got a 2 minutes when I was informed it was done but I never gotten the email that should’ve been sent - this could have been avoided if they had just issued the confirmation email on the Monday 20 May or Tuesday 21 May at the latest - this cause me nothing but stress and anxiety as the date approaches and it was an inconvenience and an additional cost me to my stay - in total I spend over £12 including VAT just to make a phone call that they failed to communicate with me (why did I have to spend more to make this expensive call) - during the initial phone conversation I asked the lady named Laura if the pictures are accurate because the room looked old and she said “pics are subject to differ each location” - arrived at the hotel on Sunday 26 May, lift not working only received the email alert 3hrs after my booking - the room decor was old (stuck in the 90s) - there was a door on our tv wall connecting to the next adjoining room (I DID NOT LIKE THAT) (it’s creepy & left us unease) - on the eve of our stay we get a knock after 11pm, initially I ignored but it persisted - on the door was some guy, I don’t know who he was, he wasn’t wearing premier in uniform .. some guy with slick back hair, glasses, white T shirt and lineyard across his chest talking about we got complaints about noise and can you keep it down (leaving us confused) - mind you the tv was on lower than 10 and we was only talking.. I took offence to this. - it’s the bank holiday weekend not prison curfew, btw we are adults 27-37yo - when I went to the front desk he was there, a night staff and when I questioned him on why he knocked on our door - to which he replied he didn’t get a complaint, was during walks and said we were loud.. I got irritated, I challenged what’s his problem then he started getting an attitude to which I said so we can’t talk now it’s not like we are loud and have the tv on maximum - on Monday 27 May we heard footsteps on the floor above us for the 1st time but it became a nuisance as it was repetitive and annoying.. literally back and forth pacing. I banged on the ceiling it stopped temporarily and it resume so we ignored it - then at 5am I heard the same nuisance from the room above impacting both my and my partner sleep.. all this went on well after 7am . I felt angry, annoyed from the night staff knocking on our door on day 1 now this on day 2 - Premier Inn slogan is “rest easy” we did not rest easy during our bank holiday weekend stay - I was so annoyed I just wanted to checkout and never said a word of our issue to the receptionists - I recently stayed at Travelodge and I asked the receptionist the exp I had at Premier Inn to which she replied “that’s not normal behaviour to knock on someone’s door when they’re just talking, it’s not like you were loud or had a complaint”

Booked for proximity to the Lowry to go to an event there Needed to change room to family room and ensure room was on the ground floor due to the fact my dad has health issues tried to call reception for 3-4 hours no one Answered Room when booking didn’t say parking was chargeable & it’s cheeky when you’re paying £100 plus for a room to pay for parking on top should be free for guests The room was on the ground floor at the end of the corridor Musty damp smell hits you as you walk to the room the ceiling above has lots of damp stains and patches Room was tidy basic but didn’t smell fresh or of any type of cleaning products Cobwebs in corner one sachet of Coffee one teabag not exactly spoilt for choice no phone in Room to call reception Plug in sink and bath blocked prob full of hair and skin debris maintenance issue Air con makes a lot of noise and rattles Beefeater next door AVOID ! Half the stuff on the menu not available staff have a bad attitude especially the young lady with red hair incredibly rude and abrupt My dad ordered half roast chicken it was hand cooked and pink and bloody I ordered haloumi fries and chicken pieces batter and grease gross Breakfast they opened late staff again can’t be bothered attitude when they open we needed to leave early so went just before 7am supposed to be open 6:30 was closer to 7 portion sizes tiny on ordered hot food staff kept wandering off bad attitude Salt 🧂 container empty seems staff do nothing here Reception sit on there mobiles 📱 ignoring any requests or enquiries especially on Thu 2nd May

As a regular premier inn guest I was rather disappointed by this hotel. Usually, premier inn is such a good chain but this particular hotel needs closing and renovating. There was construction equipment and builders everywhere, now I appreciate that it is not the Ritz but I was woken just after 7.30am by drilling somewhere in the hotel. Then at breakfast there was banging and drilling in the dining room. The staff seemed bored and uninterested in their work, the items on the breakfast station were empty and when asked for something as basic as butter one of the girls just grunted and said "we aint got none". Also the dining room was filthy, we sat by a window and I made the mistake of looking behind a radiator... I wished I hadn't, it was revolting. Maybe instead of hanging around in the corner chatting the staff could clean the place a bit?

Location was perfect, hotel itself was a let down however, very dirty, unhygienic, toilet seat in our room was covered in yellow wee stains, absolutely disgusting. Reception not really bothered about anything. Air con unit in the room way too noisy sounded like trying to sleep in a room with a tractor all night. Only plus was bed was quite comfortable.

On arrival there was a-rat running around on the car park due to all the rubbish in the shrubs. The plug hole was blocked in the bathroom, the lift was out of order and the pillows were hard. Not worth £140 with no breakfast!!!!

Great place. Coffee and tea was exceptional. Really good atmosphere. We had the Reuben bagel and poached eggs on toast.
