The best restaurants serving American food in Ordsall Salford North West

I love finding somewhere that is privately owned and sources most foods locally. Add to that brilliant staff, a great menu, mouth-watering food, lovely decor, great views & truly yummy food and I’m very happy! Social 7 sits on the 7th floor of the Landing building in Salford’s Media City on the outskirts of Manchester. Unfortunately it doesn’t open for breakfast til 8.30am but the wait was worth it. The warm welcome from the 2 guys and my yummy food when it arrived made it worthwhile. Great value for money too, for top quality and beautiful surroundings. I’ll be back!

1. Burgers amazing (I really enjoyed this double cheese was really nice I must say enjoyed it a lot) 2. Chips decent 3. Chicken wings poor (these let it down big time could do better in my air fryer easily) 4. Overpriced imo if chicken wings were good I wouldn't moan so much but I only ate half expected big things considering the burger was so nice) 5. Only 1 alcohol wipe in bag disappointed as was a double meal so again seems petty but for price and the fact we drove off opened bag and only one inside was annoying) 6.would definitely eat there again but just order burger and chips

Great atmosphere & amazing food, the customer service is immaculate. I used to go to other shops but since I got put on to this, I haven’t looked back. Prices and portions are spot on.

I would not recommend. Go somewhere else; there are plenty of much much better restaurants in Manchester. I went here with two friends.Our first waitress that took our order was very miserable and stand-offish. We then waited forty minutes for our food. The main meals were tasty and warm. Another waitress came to ask if we had had finished our main meal twice, and also tried to take my drink that I was not finished with. I asked her to put it back on the table. She then came back a third time and started clearing my friends plates whilst I was still eating. I asked if she was trying to rush us, and if she was aware of a deadline for the table needing to go to another reservation. She said no, there was not. It was very rude and was uncomfortable to carry on eating with her clearing the table around me. The dessert sharing platters were moderate. A few of the cakes were so dry we left them. I asked two waiters for table water, which arrived with our bill at the end. Don't bother going here.

I’m afraid to say this was a disappointment. Small and overdone steak, wilted rocket salad, empty restaurant. Reminded me of Jamie’s Italian, the kind of restaurant t that has a celebrity chef name on the door but the food is not up to scratch. Walk a few minutes round the corner and enjoy a meal in Prezzo or Wagamama. Just don’t spend your money here.

Would not feed to my dogs Chicken dry and when have wings been in a bucket? Popcorn very small but hot chips warmed up Having spent £35 here would not have given to my dog
