Food was not bad came from Sheffield and was recommended Burgerizm by somebody, would i visit back probably not. Placed an order and rang the store for extra cheese on the burgers but apparently they don’t do it said the woman. She wasn’t the politest of people, i wasn’t trying to get away without paying if anything would have paid for extra cheese, but she said they don’t do that which is a bit bizarre. Anyhow the start of the whole experience was a let down and the food was not something i would brag about so yeh that was the first and last time i visit this place.

Whatever genius thinks sending an order on a pushbike wheb there are several miles between my place and burgerism is crazy. Clearly I cannot heat a burger up and it's going to be cold by the time it gets to me. Won't order again

My oh my, they do the juiciest smash patties ever. Maybe I overdid it with the double (4 patties!!) but it was worth the potential heart failure. It’s a shame that the fries aren’t that nice and they don’t do milkshakes either which makes an elite combo with a greasy burger. Still enjoyed the meal, but please learn how to put the lids on the dip properly. I lost 65p worth (see pics)

Wholly Double It’s as filling as the thickest bun I’ve seen on Google. The hamburger has a beefy flavor and is very juicy. It’s really delicious with the salty flavor of bacon. 🤭 The cheese he uses is the kind used on American hamburger buns, so it has a cheese flavor. Chicken Sandwich His fried chicken buns are delicious You can tell that the chicken breasts were soaked in good-quality whole milk during the marinating process🥳 So the food is not dry at all, it is so moist and has a light milky aroma. fries At McDonald’s in Hong Kong, I have always only eaten a quarter pack of medium-sized French fries, but with this medium-sized French fries, I can eat them in a box myself 😂 It is pre-mixed with seasoning powder, just like shake shake French fries. The flavor tends to be mildly spicy, with lots of smoked paprika. The texture of fresh French fries is that of potato skins, and they are fried to be crispy on the outside and soft on the outside. However, Qianqi is not good at baking it. You have to start eating it as soon as you get it 😂 Because it is made on demand, so if you put it in a box and bake it for only five minutes, it will be dry😖 P.S. It does not accept on-site orders. Even if it is at the door of the store, orders must be placed online on its official website. So you can estimate the time according to the distance between you and him🐣

Not sure what’s changed here and it’s a shame because whatever made Burgerism special, it’s clearly lost it. The burger was so underwhelming , nothing like how it used to be! You can literally pick up the same gourmet style burger anywhere in Manchester now! Even the sauce isn’t the same (blue cheese). It seems like they use cheaper ingredients! The burger itself was very average, not enough salt and a bit rubbery. Had it kept to its usual high standard, would be happy to pay over the odds ! But £50 for 3 meals and a single burger, just doesn’t cut it I’m afraid ! How disappointing

Ordered via Uber Eats. Food order showed up as delivered and yet, I had not received anything. I called and was told there was nothing that could be done and that the driver must have stolen my delivery?! So, I re-ordered as we still wanted out meal. £60 later for two burger meals and they then arrived cold. Tasted good but not worth £60.

Ordering from here is super convenient using their online/QR code system, they have parking and bring the food right out to your car! Special mention to Mickey, whose customer service skills were top-notch. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a fresh, delicious meal with amazing service.

Very disrespectful staff members , more than 20 drivers waiting deliveroo and other people for there orders .. staff sending out messages telling people to come to entrance and collect food , while no staff member was even coming to window !! , unprofessional need to take classes for experience in manners and language skills. Whereas it clearly says food will be sent to your car . A staff member sent a message to us to say come to window to collect food , we waited for 45 minutes for the food , my order was for 8 pm got order at 9 pm , food was cold and gone wrong . One staff member popped out , and I had to ask what has happened to my order , she replied saying “ it’s not in pocket can’t you see “!!! Veryyyy rude no manners staff complete ignore phone calls . Rang 48 times to speak to someone still no reply . I am a regular customer never had issues but this has put me off burgerism and I will be telling everyone about this issue and no longer will go back there . Burgerism did not even applogize for such rudeness or even say sorry for delay . Lots of other people having same issues and getting very angry . Very sad to see such rude staff .!

First time we have ordered from here, as had heard good things. Shame that they didn't send the correct order, burger missing, was told it was their error but if we wanted the burger we'd have to come for it as they didn't have a driver. I thought that was the whole point of paying for a takeaway. They said Uber eats would provide a refund, Uber eats refunded £3.13 instead of the full price of burger. Those family members who did get their order enjoyed the good, as for me, I ended up with no food!

10/10 burgers. I can hands on heart say they’re the best burgers I’ve ever had. I’ve ordered multiple times and I’ve never been disappointed. Foods always piping hot too. Only one time I ordered and the food was cold maybe the driver didn’t have a food bag? Never the less the food was scranned! Highly recommend.

Dead spot. Tasteless meat. I have in fact ate taster air than that burger. Would not recommend to people with no taste buds. Highlight of the meal was a fruit salad sweet from my childhood. I repeat dead spot!!!

I get that my delivery was 4/5 mile but hot bags exist these days . Chips colder than ice - burger was nice but also Luke warm for £21 I won’t be ordering delivery again that’s for sure .

This place was over hyped. The meat was poor quality and had weird hard bits in it. The fresh onion was so bitter and there was no sauce. I wouldn’t go back. I heard so much about this place and was excited to come but it was a huge disappointment overall. Don’t waste your time.

Worst people , staff is arrogant to delivery drivers , especially the boss who doesn't like to mention there name as well. She says she doesn't care even if you complain and treats people like they are nothing.

Ordered online for a work lunch and delivered by deliveroo. The food was delicious we all enjoyed it however the fries (x4) were missing from the meals. I tried to claim via deliveroo but it was rejected. I telephoned and spoke with Yuan who was very helpful and said that he will send the details to head office for review hopefully they will arrange a refund. Thank you Yuan

Food here is absolutely disgusting, not worth the amount your paying £15 for a burger meal you’d expect top notch this is definitely not worth the price your paying especially when your food is tasting tasteless! Complaint to burgerism and they don’t have a care in the world.

I bought food from this evening and spent nearly £40, I collected the food as usual but when I got home some of my order was missing. I phoned up to enquire where my food was and the manager who I spoke too was very rude and didn't really do anything to resolve the issue saying they had no drivers to drop-off the missing food from my order even though they always have drivers doing deliveries! When I could not see a resolution i told him I wanted a refund and he very rudely hung up on me, when I called back he was still rude and passed me onto someone else who said they had refunded me but can't tell me if it is refunded? 🤷‍♂️ I won't be buying food from burgerism in future after this experience, I've used this branch for a few years now and it's slowly been getting worse recently!

Just a hole in the wall within an industrial site? You had to order via a QR code and the burger would be handed out through the wall.. we left before ordering

Not what I expected. A crowd of Uber eats drivers waiting outside a window. If you want to order you use a QR code and as far as we could tell you have no interaction with anyone inside - expect someone handing you food through a window which you can't see through. Very odd, didn't order.

I ordered 3 chicken burgers and was upset about the quality. I used to love Freebirds, but now the quality has declined and the price is nearly double compared to the 2022. (£6.95 to £10.50) I don't mind to pay new price as long quality following the price .

Ordered via uber eats for an office lunch upon arrival one of our guest opened the Blue cheese dip to find that it was crusty and had visible blue Mold inside. Clear health and hygiene red flag. We had a joke about it as they ordered blue cheese but didn’t expect moldy food. No one eat the food so it all went in the bin and headed out for lunch. 👎

Ordered the Vegan burger today and I was really disappointed. I have ordered Burgerism a lot over the last few years, always been impressed with their vegan burger. However, today has put me off ordering at all. The fries were fine, quite a decent portion. The burger patty however was just revolting. Smelt weird, really mushy and dry. The vegan cheese was naff (it’s usually quite nice) Heap loads of pickles, even though I asked for non. I feel sick just thinking about the burger. I will be ordering elsewhere for a better, more affordable burger.

First timer! Chips were incredible. Burger was delish. The food is well presented and immaculately packaged. Food obviously freshly prepared. Beef of a high quality and this was obvious from the smell and taste. Service was excellent by the member of staff who brought out our meal, and made a humerous remark about our conspicuously liveried vehicle which made us smile! I'd like to see a wider range of drinks, particularly sugar free. Would return.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL EXPERIENCE AGAIN! more fool me, I have had multiple issues with my food from the Gatley branch but as they started off so well, I foolishly gave them chance after chance. I ordered on Friday and once again, the wrong food was delivered. It seems that it is impossible to contact anyone at Burgerism and when you do eventually get a response 2 days later, its totally pointless and offers another voucher. A voucher for food which out of 3 orders has been the incorrect order twice and inedible, cold and soggy food the other time. Avoid at all costs. Orders are always wrong and the customer service is the pitts! for an independent business, they need to do better with their customers, they totally DO NOT CARE

I'm not going to lie, The beef burger from here was the best I've had in England, really tasty and juicy. With the seasoned skin on fries, it was lovely. The burgers weren't huge, nothing compared to the video advertisement, but yet surprisingly filling. A few days later I tried the chicken fillet burger which was fat and juicy, but It wasn't a patch on the beef burger, in fact I'd say popeye's chicken burgers just take the lead on burgerism. But don't let that put you off as these are still gorgeous. Now then..... chicken wings. I ordered 2 flavours. Bbq and buffalo, both were incredible, the bbq was tangy and full of flavour and the buffalo was not too hot. The sauce tasted a little like nandos peri sauce. Over all, there is no doubt that I will return there to indulge again in the beef burgers. Maybe even try the double... 4 pattys. I'm a big lad but I think even that may be a little too much.

The food was really expensive but very nice, however they forgot half our order. They said come and pick up the rest, but why would we have ordered a takeaway if we were available to pick it up.

Regular and loyal customer over the years. Just had an order with missing items which Deliveroo refused to refund. In what world is it ok to expect a customer to pay for something they havent received?? You can see from the receipt the item wasn't packed as it wasn't circled but the customer is still expected to pay for employee fault? I know its only a small amount but it's the principle and not the price. Im not one to complain but it's not the first time I've had issues with you guys so felt had no choice. Especially disheartening after being a loyal customer for so long! Reply to response - if you actually bothered to read my initial review properly you would see Deliveroo refused to refund for some reason hence posting this review in the first place! Unfortunately, you seem to be suffering the same fate of many chains that sacrifice the customer service that made them popular in the first place for the pursuit of greed/more locations. 'Reviewing your processes' still leaves your customers out of pocket!

Nice burger (if not the largest) and very tasty fries. Drink choice could be greater, but overall much better than the big multinational burger chains for quality and taste.

First time order, expectation was high, sadly this place didn't deliver a good experience. Asked for no tomato, got tomato, asked for well done burgers, they weren't.. Burger was a sloppy mess, chips were decent but not enough. Also putting cold drinks next to hot food is just a basic no no yet they did it. Will just go to 5 guys next time and give this place a miss, sad really as I'm local and would like to support the Salford economy.

Bit of a new one for me, drive into an Industrial estate to a unit. Ordered online and it came in 10 mins from a very friendly girl with coloured hair Liked the personalisation of it all from the receipt with “enjoy” to the signature inside the burger box - very very tasty it’s great to find these independents who produce some great tasting food 👍🏻👍🏻 Deffo added to the list of return places to eat when I’m back in town.

I requested for no lettuce specifically. They added it still with no bun. Worst service ever. I spent £9.25 for nothing. Threw them all in the bin. On your website, you need to distinguish ‘no lettuce’ from ‘no bun’. It doesn’t make any sense to put both together because they’re not synonymous in any way! Gosh!!!

The place has experienced impressive growth over the years opening in a few locations. It would be admirable if they would use some of their money to demonstrate some social responsibility to hire cleaners for the local area. The place has created a local culture of eating the meals in cars, and don’t have indoor area. Us local residents are tired of seeing burgerism litter every single day on the roads and paths.

Ordered 2 meals to be delivered and only 1 burger arrived. Called straight away just to be told I could either go and pick it (don’t drive) or I could request a refund from the delivery provider. In my opinion the food to be sent is the absolute minimum expectation.

Unfortunately compared to the ones i had in london these are awful. No proper sear, burger too thick. Meat patty full of unchewable things in it. No dry aged meat flavor. No good sauce, boring onion tomato and pickle inside. No chutney. Garlic ranch boring not seasoned no garlic. I can make better one at home. Its just some business, not really foodie stufd.

They used to be the best burger spot in Manchester but not anymore. I was such a big fan that I'd order twice a month. But since last 2 month, a total of 3 orders, burgers have been overcooked and really dry. Tried to make the team aware on their insta but they pay no heed to complains. Disappointed cause they have the potential to be the best in town.

Ordered for the first time. I was only mile and half away from takeaway in salford quays. Food turned up after an hour and 10 minutes and it was cold. I had to warm it up in microwave and couldn’t taste it properly. Not happy as first time ordered it.

Just ordered a burger to try it for the second time and it’s still as great as I remembered. Amazing sauce, melted cheese,seasoned beef patties and lovely pickles. The turkey bacon was tasty aswell I wish it was a bit crispier but that’s just preference not an insult. The delivery came with a cute picture and fruit salad sweet. The lovely messages left on the box such as ‘enjoy’ and please leave us a review were adorable that I couldn’t ignore them and not give a review for what was an 9/10 burger only reason it’s a 9 is cause I like crispy turkey bacon other than that PERFECT!

This burger is a highly sexual affair for any purveyor of burgers. I assumed the role of ordering the Veggied Burger, of which I have consumed many times. Dominating such a handsome burger is no mean feat… Sometimes lasting 10 mins and sometimes 30. I can’t wait for it to come from their kitchen again!! BLOODY GOOD BURGER.

First time trying this place never again. Waited over 20mins for my order which was pre orderd when i finally got my food gourmet burger was very cold staff offered to make me anther burger which i waited another 25mins minsm, only to be told they dont knw who took my call and my burger wasnt even being prepared at this point the rest of my order was cold and not edible .Waste of time and money will not be returning again. Ordered for pick up today at 1.05. Arrived there, massive queue, was told it will be a bit late but no timeframe. At 1.32 I was told it will be another 6-8 minutes. I can't wait that long, I was on my lunch break and had to return back to work. Now I just hope a refund will be processed. To sum up, drove 25min all the way from Radcliffe to get some food for my lunch break, I was left with the 50min return trip, petrol wasted and no food. UPDATE: After the episode described above ilI decided to give Burgerism another try. Ordered the bbq ranch sauce and I received the one in the picture below. Really dubious colour on the sauce, ended up not eating it.

I was really disappointed with the quality of the food and overall service. I placed my order at 9pm the food did not arrive until 11:45pm. It was cold, messy and not very appetising. Will not be ordering from here again.

Always get a great burger from here, sometimes the wait time even with a preorder and a collection time can be longer than expected but with how popular it is it doesn't surprise me at all. I can't rate the atmosphere as it's a pickup / delivery only venue although the I know they have done in places, just not so close to work that I can sit in on my dinner

I know that it is expensive to operate a dine in food concept, but Burgerism really need to get into this. I cannot think of a better food experience that you can’t enjoy in a restaurant setting. The food really is the best. I love burgers, I have loved them since childhood. I was the kid obsessed with Americana and what can be more American than a burger? Burgerism make the best, melt in your mouth and fill your belly burgers. Their chicken wings are Devine. But you can’t truly enjoy them as much as you could, because you always have to wait for the Ubereats guy to schlep across Manchester. Once that sweet, sweet heavenly food gets to your door, from the Salford dark kitchen via a 2001 reg Citroen Saxo, the heat has gone out of the affair. Literally. So I thought I would go direct, cut out the middle man, and order for a pickup. I have them my time of collection. I arrived on time… and was sent back to my car to wait for thirty minutes. That’s the insane thing about this review. Why ask me to book a pickup time, if you cannot make it and don’t at least say sorry for keeping you waiting. But trust me. Get this burger if you have hot already. It. Is. The. Best.
