The best restaurants in Boothstown and Ellenbrook Salford North West

Después de revisar los tiempos en línea mi esposo y yo caminamos allí un sábado por la noche a las 10:30 (dijo 11 para cerrar en línea) y nos dijeron que los últimos pedidos ya habían desaparecido. ¡Decepcionante un sábado por la noche!

Noisy, crowded, too many tables in a small room. Starters were ok, pretty basic. For main course had swordfish, which was ok (oily, tasting of nothing but garlic) but all it came with was a small side dish of veg - which were so undercooked the carrots were hard, let alone the broccoli which was raw. Will not visit again.

This place goes above and beyond in every department food is gorgeous the cocktails are almost perfect darling

We were at Coal & Cotton for a birthday lunch with my friend on Thursday. Extremely friendly waitress but we didn’t get her name. She didn’t rush us at all and was able to allow us to keep our table for longer as we were there for over 5 hours. Food was excellent and so was the wine, all 3 bottles of it 😂 I highly recommend Coal & Cotton for excellent food and service. Although we did tip I wish we had asked our waitress name because she is a gem and deserves a mention. She was so patient with us and this high level of service is rare these days. Very friendly and happy atmosphere with all the Christmas decorations. We will be back very soon as I want to try the breakfast.

Our third festive meal this season and easily the best. Special thanks to Thomas who was super - very efficient and friendly service.

We have loved woks up and wouldn't go anywhere else, but tonight we have noticed a big change. 1st was the starter box, it had no BBQ ribs or seaweed in it, just lots of fried chicken and fried ribs thatcwere tasteless.. Skinny chicken that has been my favourite meal was full of ginger tonight ( I absolutely hate ginger, so this meal is now a big no from me) also the honey and lemon chicken was totally different and not as nice. Not sure what has changed but really hope it can return to the wonderful food we have had previously.

What a nostalgic experience. Called in on the off chance and instantly made at home. Food was great and service impeccable.

Kids meal chicken strips are burnt and solid. You got beef fries are like slop! A portion of skin on fries had less than half in the box! Kids cheese burger meal was a beef burger meal. Never had a bad meal from here until now!

Checked on line lots of tables for 3 till 5:30. It was 3pm got there and told there was no tables. When I mentioned the app was told you can have a table but you have to eat within a hour. Children’s meal was ok wife’s pizza felt like it had never seen cheese I got the hot beef brisket on artisan bread. Looked like a a beef paste small sandwich or dog food. was cold bread burnt No one came over till the end to late then to resolve anything tried to get attention but everyone was to busy. Avoid gone down hill so much doesn’t compare to other vintage pubs

Worth the wait love this place pasta and pizza are the best around restaurant standards

Nice pub to get food from and there’s also a pool table and a dart board will definitely be coming again
