Nice cafe/bar and good staff . Only 2 working and it was a leaving party we went to and they were brilliant. Good place for a party!!!!!

Me and my husband came here for breakfast and absolutely loved the place! The staff were super friendly, welcoming and great with allergie sufferers. Didn't have to wait to be seated. It was decorated nicely and the menu was easy to navigate. It was easy to find and there were plenty of car parking spaces located behind the shops. There was a breakfast menu that was easily found online and a specials menu. The food was incredibly nice! I had a special of waffles and Nutella with marshmallows and my husband had eggs, toast and beans. We had lattes which were really nice! I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu! Open mics and live music advertised on the boards and lunch offers. Vegetarian options available. Would recommend Definitely will be back! The tapas menu looks fantastic!

Gorgeous food and friendly staff

Went in for brunch today. Nice little cafe and bar, quite busy as well so I recommend a reservation. Appreciate the flexibility on a substitution on the breakfast, good vegetarian options as well. Coffees came out nice and quickly and we really good. The timing on food was a proper disappointment though, people who came in after us with larger orders were served a good 10-15 minutes earlier. Staff are pleasant though, food quality was good.

Love Masons Bar, always very welcoming and have heating on! Ella and Monica especially are always very cheerful and offering their assistance! Would recommend!

Lovely place, met up with some friends and spent a good few hours in there, No pressure to finish up when it got busy, very friendly staff, food was fresh, delicious and hot. Would definitely recommend and hopefully be back again.

Get the tapas. It’s amazing and great value too.

Excellent food great service and good atmosphere

We decided to give it a go as we love supporting local businesses. Very disappointed after todays visit, place smells, tables are dirty and full of empty glasses that should be collected sooner as there was 3 girls at the bar doing noting but biting their nails and playing with each others hair!!! And then touching glasses, plates with food they serve. Absolutely disgusting 🫣 😤 clearly they have no training or knowledge about food hygiene and handling.

Hello. I visited Mason's for breakfast, last week. The food was very good. Suggest warmer plates, though. otherwise, excellent! About 2/3 months ago, I visited twice, within a few weeks and the food was poor. I submitted a review, advising this. I am so glad to report much improvement. See you soon. Sorry to say. Visited for Breakfast Sunday 29 Oct. Very poor and disappointed. Should have realised when served remarkably quickly. Food all pre-prepared. Nothing hot. All items in varying degrees of warm-ish. Toast cold and spread congealed. Get back to getting the basics right, Mason's!

Whilst on a day out at rhs Bridgewater decided to have lunch but queue was very long. Decided to see if could find anywhere local and came across Mason's by chance, and so glad we did. Friendly staff, excellent food at reasonable prices what's not good about that. Highly recommend.

Lovely place. Good selection of gluten free options and high quality ingredients making it a worthwhile option for coeliacs. Great drinks also. Usually full of people though!

What a great little place! Situated on the precinct, it looks quite unassuming from outside. Inside it’s very rustic, with mismatched tables and chairs and exposed pipe work. Every time we’ve visited, whether it be for breakfast, lunch or just drinks, we’ve been very happy with both the food and the service. The harissa steak and eggs is definitely up there with my favourite breakfast I’ve ever had. The cocktails are yummy. And they even have a bookshelf filled with books, colours and board games for the kids.

Nice and relaxing there when I take my grandson there with the bonus of good food and service

Lovely little place. We went here for Mother’s Day and it was lovely. I don’t think it was worth the money but service and taste was fabulous. One suggestion maybe for next time… turn down the music from the singer we couldn’t conversate and could hear the other customers shouting to speak too.

We are visiting the area on our canal boat and came across Mason's while out walking. What a find! We've already been twice and will definitely be back! There is a lovely atmosphere in the cafe and the staff are super friendly, helpful and engaging. There is a good variety of dishes on the menu but I have to say we enjoyed the tapas best. The dishes are well presented and flavoursome. Highly recommend a visit. Within easy walking distance of the canal.

Fantastic food, great atmosphere.

A little gem. Visited on a cold wet Saturday morning in January. The exterior looked a bit bleak & the outside could have done with a brush. Lots of slippy leaves which my elderly Dad struggled to walk on without assistance. Inside however was a treat. Cozy setting, friendly staff, great menu & amazing food. We dined off the breakfast/ brunch menu. Great portion sizes, arrived hot & well presented. Highly recommend the hash, steak & eggs. Can’t wait to visit again next time we are in the area.

Now my favourite meal of the day is breakfast , for me it needs to be quality ingredients over any kind of quantity. I have been for breakfast there in 3 timets in the last 6 weeks and everytime perfect. Couple of times Ive been is that there is no room but i love having breakfast outdoors and must be a tip at how good their food is with standing room only. In fast it has stopped me eating poor quality breakfasts during the week (good for health reasons) to save it as a treat going to Mason's. Takes a lot for me to right a review so keep doing what you do.

Food was yummy , good choices too

It was a little difficult to book (no website, unclear what time they served food until, no online booking system and no one answered the phone the first couple of times I tried). Eventually managed to book for 5.30 Sat (the latest booking for food). The menu is small, I went for the tapas, meatballs, patatas bravas and salt and pepper calamari. All my dishes were great, hot and tasty. One friend had the chicken skewer which she said was really good and the other had a chicken sandwich which was packed with chicken and she said that was tasty too. I also had one of their winter warmers, hot chocolate with biscoff, marshmallows and cream which hit the spot! The atmosphere was good and it turned into more of a bar than a cafe around 6 pm which meant the music got loud and the lights went down. It wasn’t a cheap cafe but it was good quality food and we’d definitely go back.

Staff were really rude and unhelpful. Asked if I could come in with the dog to order a drink to have outside, no, asked if I could take a menu outside and order from there, advised I couldn’t take menus off the table. In the end I left as clearly weren’t interested in serving me.

Paid £9 for a bacon butty which just came on soggy toast, can of coke was £2 fookin 50, after waiting for 20 minutes and finally getting served we went to the van to find you got are order completely wrong as you did with the fella who was sat across from us waiting, worst cafe I’ve ever been too I advise everyone to stay clear

We always like it here. Just had a few cocktails and a beautiful tapas. Well worth a visit.

Visited for brunch and was really impressed. The place was lovely and clean, the staff were really helpful and the food was very nice. I was particularly impressed with the alternative options (gluten free toast, oat milk) which I haven’t found to be always available in the area! Would highly recommend!

Sat down, ordered drinks and food. Drinks arrived, later told that the kitchen was closed. Not happy as we were very hungry and now had to pay £7.50 for 3 soft drinks we only ordered to have with our food. Paid bill and left. Not happy at all. No sign to say no food after 4pm. We did get a sorry but I didn't feel this was enough when we clearly came for food to.

One of my favourite restaurants / bars in Boothstown if not my favourite! The breakfast here is amazing, I LOVE the food! The quality is amazing and all of the staff are really friendly! The food in the evening is nice however the breakfast is the best. The music in the evening is always good and I love coming for drinks / cocktails. The prices are very reasonable. Perfect addiction to Boothstown. ❤️

It was my husband's birthday and he decided to start the day with a full monty at our local cafe - Masons. We hadn't been able to visit for 12 months and wanted to support a local business. The serving staff could not have been kinder to my husband - making him feel wonderful on his birthday. After he had finished a beautiful, generous and freshly cooked breakfast, they surprised him by all singing him Happy Birthday complete with a brownie and candle. It was such a lovely thought - and he was really made up. We are so lucky to have Masons nearby - the food is delicious and the staff are so friendly.

Love. Love. Love. Food is always great. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. Family friendly, always clean and usually prompt service. Drinks are lovely, the occasionally have a rose latte available which is phenomenal. Cook breakfast is a treat, as are the lunch options!
