Excellent service and very friendly staff!!

Nice enough food, had the mo’bay chicken - was quite nice actually. Cocktails good as always. Where this turtle bay falls short is that service takes a while, takes a while to be served and then even longer for food to come out. What I didn’t understand is that one person on the table ordered wings and dumplings and they brought them out separately… my food came last after a long wait. It’s not nice for people to be eating at different times, we should all eat together.

The food was really excellent, the burger had a new and different taste and the quantity was sufficient. As for the appetizers, they really had a Jamaican flavour and the Caesar salad was delicious.

George was super lovely and attentive. Great experience

Had a great time, staff were lovely, really helpful a d attentive, came for bottomless brunch, omg was brill food delish and the cocktails kept coming, danni and J were both great would highly recommend and def come back, 6 cocktails down and very happy lol x

Food and atmosphere is really good, Lola has been amazing and the staff is very friendly.

Was served by Lola, what a credit to the company, so welcoming and making sure we are all ok. Lola was always smiling and made conversation.

Visited Sunday 24th August with are Grandson food was great and Tasha was brilliant great service.

Our server Maiya was very friendly & accommodating to our every need thank you. It was our first visit today, considering I’m JA heritage & the food was excellent even though I added some extra hot sauce. I cleared my plate, thought I ate at home We even added a small takeout for our son. Price was very good value for our £ as we had plenty refreshments.

Lovely athmosphere, friendly welcoming waitress. Food took a little longer but we didn't mind too much. As the delicous food made up for it. We had carribean katsu curry and jerk salmon with coconut rice (would prefer bit more slaw), both quite spicy but very yummy dishes. The mac and cheese bites were super awesome, too. Tried jamaican lager and few rums, had a great night. Will defo visit again :)

We were here for over 2 hours, the vibe was so good! Were served by Teja, who was great conversation and had amazing recommendations. Both the drinks and the food were fantastic - definitely try as many of the Caribbean rums as you can. Super affordable as well.

Had a fantastic experience with the bottomless brunch, our server who was Lola was very attentive and friendly and served all 7 of us 6 drinks throughout. The food was also delicious, much better experience here than other Turtle Bay brunches in Manchester.

I went here with a friend on an exceptionally hot day for Manchester - they were seemingly busy, and the service was OK. As we arrived, we let the guy on the door know, but we were waiting for a very long time. I also asked him if they do iced coffee, and he said no, but they have hot coffee, which was confusing as I'm sure they have ice :D A lady at another table got quite frustrated about the wait too, as we saw some other team members inside chatting, so I went in and told another team member that we've been waiting for a while. She said that if we're sitting outside, they couldn't see us. Just a word of advice - do not blame the customer, especially without checking the facts first. Apart from this they were friendly and nice, just a little bit disorganised. Now I'm the biggest fan of Caribbean food, but I didn't want anything too heavy on a hot day, so I ordered the sunshine salad with extra jerk chicken. It was half a bag of supermarket lettuce with a few kidney beans from a can, with half a handful of rubbery chicken for £11+2.50! It was not filling or delicious but super overpriced. It should be listed as a side salad for max £5. I give them a few plus points for eventually making me an iced coffee after I explained how to mix hot coffee with loads of ice :D

****Avoid the Pork Belly*** We decided to have lunch here on Saturday. Looked like a nice place and the staff were pleasant. My wife had the chicken which she really enjoyed and I had the Pork Belly. Wasn’t particularly good…….to which I found out why later that day and I’ve had food poisoning since. Up all night sick and diarrhea and really bad pain in my stomach. Spent the whole of Sunday in bed really poorly. Such a shame as we liked the place but never be returning for sure. Sort out your hygiene?! 🤢🤮💩

We came here last week spent over £200 on* food and drinks had the best service and dining experience in a long while, we came today just because of how good it was. Today was absolutely horrific to say the least the manager on the door called Michael was so rude and arrogant I was honestly lost for words. He asked us what we want to order I said the same as I did last week; 2 sharing platters but wanted to substitute the normal fries for sweet potato as I have a massive intolerence to normal potatoes, he began to spin a barrel of lies about how the chefs kick off about it and then claimed it’s because they are more expensive 0.60 extra for what would of been over £100 worth of food. That seems like the silliest business idea I have ever heard of. We tipped the kitchen £10 last time and I explained all this to him how it’s not a very wise business decision to be like that and he rudely said we are going round in circles we aren’t doing it they shouldn’t do it in the first place and that’s that. I don’t get spoken to that by random people in the street let alone someone waiting on my table I highly suggest you do your Due diligence and educate this MICHAEL about 1. How to speak to customers & 2. About making reasonable business decisions. If we chose to eat inside and was served by an actual Server who are always polite and courtious we would already be eating what we had last Sunday followed by the same tip. This MICHAEL really needs to fix his attitude it was beyond comprehension and from a manager as well is wild and for reference to anyone else coming in. His description is wearing a sock beanie with a solid fringe avoid at all costs the guy will ruin your experience. I asked for a review card after his awful interactions he came out put it on my table and tried to walk away swiftly without me even catching his name. Diabolical.*** PICTURE OF FOOD IS REFERENCE TO LAST SUNDAY & YOU CAN SEE LOOKS GOOD WITH SWEET POTATO FIRES *** & now as we sit drinking drinks he’s just staring at me through the window like a child.*UPDATE STAYED FOR AN HOUR OR TWO FOR DRINKS AND NOT ONCE DID HE REMOVE MY EMPTY GLASSES, I ALSO ASKED BAR STAFF TO TURN HEAT LAMPS ON AS IT WAS 8:00PM HE SAID HE HAD TO ASK THE MANAGER AKA SOCK BEANIE, HEAT LAMPS NEVER CAME ON EVEN THOUGH LAST SUNDAY THEY WAS ON FROM 5PM. THE GUY NEEDS A REALITY CHECK

Turtle Bay is a nice place and the food is good. I liked the tastes and especially the dish I ordered which was curry goat hash among others. It is a spicy dish so if you don't like spicy foods don't try it. The jerk salmon and the Kingston fried chicken were decent but not something to talk about. What I didn't like was that all the glasses we used, 2 for beers and 3 for water were smelly and this affected a lot this review. The deserts, banana toffee cheesecake, ice cream and the salted chocolate brownies were very good. I added 4 star for the service because the food took some time to arrive. However the personnel was excellent. Very polite and kind, especially Dani, the waitress responsible for our table.

The food was delicious and we had a friendly welcome, being shown promptly to our seat. Every single member of staff was very friendly and helpful and we were served by Lola who was professional but chatty about our day and the menu. Great place, we will be back!

Our Server, Queenie, was fab. She had a lovely outgoing personality and looked after us brilliantly. I had an issue with my first choice of food but she sorted it out quickly and in no way did it spoil my visit. We love Turtle Bay and we will certainly be back next time we’re at The Lowry. xx

Our servers were so nice, especially Teja. We had a 2 hour booking for bottomless brunch but got to stay at the table a while longer since there was no booking after us. All staff very chatty, food and drinks all fab.
