Playfoots is nice and cosy. We always have late afternoon drink there. Their staff is always amazing and attentive. Bella always takes care of us and she always makes sure that everyone is perfect.

Best full English breakfast we've had, everything on the plate was delicious and well seasoned. Very generous portion. The Matcha Lattes here are perfect, I had one a few weeks ago and it was the best I've had so we came back today for another and some food, all 10/10.

We are lucky to live around the corner from Playfoots which has been our go-to spot for years now. The quality of their brunch is unmatched in Monton, and is among the best across Manchester (ok, we are local and biased, but it’s absolutely true). They are super dog friendly and the space itself has a really chilled vibe. The amazing Bella looked after us today, she’s a fab part of the team, and when she asked if we’d leave a review we couldn’t say no. We love you, Playfoots 🤩

Came in for brunch on a Saturday morning, end up splitting three dishes with my partner. Every aspect of every element of the dishes was excellent and well thought out, complimentary to each other. at a glance, it might seem slightly expensive, but once you taste a the food you’ll understand. Can’t recommend highly enough everything was excellent. staff warm and friendly. 10/10

We came here for brunch on a Saturday mid-morning, were seated straight away and our drinks were delivered within minutes of ordering. We had the Korean fried chicken bagel, ham hock eggs benny and pumpkin Spiced pancakes, and every single dish was DELICIOUS. The individual components of each meal were just fantastic, the espresso mascarpone on the pancakes was out of this world, the ham hock absolutely fell apart and there are no words to describe the Korean chicken bagel. There was a 30 minute wait on food, but it was worth every second. The coffee is delicious, the staff are lovely, and the atmosphere and decor of the interior is gorgeous. Everything was stunning and we couldn't recommend it more. Thank you Playfoots!

First time in Playfoots on Sat 12th Oct and had a lovely time. The place is lovely and cosy and the atmosphere was relaxing. The bar staff were lovely and friendly too. We will be back 😊

Unreal vegan brunch and amazing service

I bring my toddler in here every week as a treat and we always receive the best service. She loves her cake/cookie or treat that's been made fresh that day and she loves to look on the counter to see what's there! And I love my latte ( maybe mimosa on occasion ) Highly recommend!

First time to Playfoots & not the last, didn’t realise what a little gem was on our doorstep, my partner had the full English which was amazing, I had the pancakes with fried chicken never tasted out like it amazing, but too big for me had to bring the rest home for later, 10 out of 10

First time I came here was on my own with a foldable pram and 10 month old baby. I carried and folded the pram by myself and got us sat down. The waiter came over and asked if I wanted a drink and I said coffee. After waiting 10 mins to order food, I took baby to the front desk and asked if I could order food and got told they don’t serve food after 2pm. At this point it was 2.05pm but regardless, they should have told me before I went through the effort of sitting me and baby down (she was due to eat!). I had to take my coffee to go and go to Blossom instead, they were very child friendly Second attempt to go here - I got there early so there were tables available but someone was using the only high chair they have available. Monton is very family friendly, there are so many families and children. How this establishment can have only 1 high chair for such an area is beyond me. Just seems like a non-child friendly place with a lack of consideration for people with little ones

The place was busy, which is always a good sign Three breakfasts - one with pancakes, one full English and one Veggie. All fantastic. Good coffee as well Pleasant service. Not rushed, although the table had a time limit. Can't wait to come back.

The food was incredible and the waiter was dead sound (Irish bloke). Food was so good and filling, can’t complain at all other than tall stools but they seem to be in every breakfast bar these days!

Came at 1pm on a Tuesday. We had the Jerk Mutton bagel and the KFC Bagel. Both were fresh, hot, juicy and incredibly tasty! 100% will be back

Possibly the best brunch I've ever had! Travelled up from London and was so impressed with the varied menu. My son had the KFC pancakes and I had the mackerel sourdough. Delicious both of them.

Cant rate this place highly enough. Absolutely fantastic, the full breakfast is honestly the best I've ever had anywhere and for 13 quid it's well worth it. My daughter tried the avocado on sour dough bread. Whilst she really liked it. Was a tad bit much for her to handle. Will be back thanks guys.

I liked my food, atmosphere not as much. Staff is simply unhappy in this place, guy behind the counter, guy who cooked and brought out our food, girl who " welcomed us" It No hi, hello, thank you or goodbye. Not worth a come back.

Hands down the BEST place for brunch in the whole of Manchester! The food is incredible and the staff are super friendly and helpful! Cosy neighborhood cafe with good food

Really lovely place with great atmosphere and food. Only thing is the coffee wasn't the standard you expect in a speciality place as such. But really great place.

We have been coming here for years. It used to be nice but it isn't any more. The girl making hot drinks was rather rude and mocking. The young lady who served us was pleasant and helpful but unfortunately she was the only one. We now won't go back again.

I love this local cafe. Feel so at home. It's my favourite place in Monton. Well done guys.xx

Visited playfoots cafe and bar for breakfast this morning. The breakfast was amazing. I had pancakes with bacon and my husband had a more traditional breakfast. The staff were lovely and accommodating. Playfoots itself was beautifully decorated and had a nice atmosphere. It was family friendly and had two sets of lower tables for people. As someone who's short I really appropriate been offered this table as the higher ones are impossible to get up on. Small but covered seating area outside. It's was easy to find. Toilets upstairs. Decent alcohol selection.

Beers: 7/10 - Estrella and craft beers - six taps Atmosphere: 10/10 - occasional DJ. Good vibes. Music: 9/10 - DJs choice on the night we were there. Other: On the expensive side £6 a pint. Can by pizza from next door and bring it round! Pizza is unreal. Their food at lunchtime is very tasty!

Lovely breakfast. The service was amazing. I really enjoyed the matcha latte and queried which brand they used. Liam who was serving us offered to sell me one of their bags (at retail price) which made my day. Honestly no faults and will definitely be returning.

We visited Playfoots in the evening when it is a bar rather than a cafe. Its a nice small independent individual welcoming bar.

Despite being told there would be a 40 minute wait for food, we were actually served rather promptly. One can only assume they tell people this, because they are usually extremely busy, and our visit today showed no exception. The food is good and filling, but the one thing that let it down, for me, is the fact that they charged £0.50p for ketchup! Come on guys, what's that all about? If I'm paying for a full English breakfast, I'd expect basic condiments to be included. Please rethink this.

Hands down best English breakfast I’ve had in my life

Atmosphere was nice, loved the look of the interior and the overnight oats I got was tasty. It seemed to take a really long time for the food to come out however, and it was just overnight oats and pancakes. I didn't time it but it was something that was really noticeable especially as it was about 1045/11 when we ordered and 1245 when we left yesterday (and we weren't dillydallying with eating or asking/waiting for the bill). The service staff were fine, so maybe a kitchen staffing issue?

Came for a birthday breakfast on a Saturday morning. Really good service and great atmosphere. Breakfast is big but also good quality.

Food was really good, the only thing was they have to work on their pricing. As I got myself Avo n toast and it came with only 1 portion of bread which is not justifiable for the price and was not very well seasoned either. Coffee was alright ! And the pancakes were really fluffy and great!

Overall it's a nice place where I have been a few times. Breakfasts are very good but in my recent visit I chose something a little different - which would have been nice, I'm sure, if it hadn't been so spicy. I didn't eat very much because I can't handle spicy food - at no point during our meal did anyone ask how the meal was. After eating we were asked how it was and I said "it was a little spicy for me" and she looked at how much was left and said "do you want to take the rest away with you?", Which I thought was an odd question given the fact I clearly didn't enjoy it. Anyway, overall good but not great service - make sure you look up the food online before ordering because there is no warning on the menus of spicy food! I feel disappointed to have paid for a meal out that I didn't actually eat, but lesson learned about looking things up before ordering.

That Korean fried chicken is unreal ya know. Absolutely top draw.

Arrived today with my daughter & grandaughter asked for highchair didn't understand as pointed to 1 & said only got that 😳 then was told to move to other seating as they needed to get through ov we didn't feel welcome so had to walk out very rude would not recommend if with children

This is my absolute fave place for breakfast! Every single part of the veggie breakie is amazing, even the mushrooms & tomatoes are perfectly seasoned. Would highly recommend, can't fault this place.

Popped into Playfoots for the first time for breakfast today . Service, atmosphere and food were all amazing! Had to wait around 30 minutes for food, but boy was it worth the wait. I had the Smokey Bacon french toast and Trudi had the Tiramisu Pancakes. Huge portions of deliciousness on both plates. Cannot recommend Playfoots enough and we will 100 percent be returning to sample more of the amazing food served there. Just Brilliant 👏 👌 😀

Lovely local Brunch/Cafe spot with lovely staff who will always do their best to cater for everyone. Go to of mine is the turmeric latte and vegetarian breakfast which I’ve had a few times and is always made immaculately.

Was turn away by the super busy Vintage Ambiance, only to walk over to this place which is really nice, has great service and fantastic food the orange hot chocolate was really tasty. Full english was also really nice. Spent around £30 for two people two dishes one drink.

We had a 1st birthday celebration upstairs in the lounge area on a Sunday. Whilst we didn't have the food as we catered ourselves due to numbers, I know it's super incredible in general and a must-try! Playfoots and their team were very accommodating with the celebration and helped with the litte things like cutlery, napkins and clearing up the waste afterwards. We were pre-warned that they wouldn't be able to do table service upstairs if they were busy. However their team were great on service downstairs for drinks and so friendly! 😁 Whilst the venue is small, it still manages to cater for a variety of situations; little celebrations, a few drinks, or for brunch for example. The atmosphere is great and if you're lucky, you may even spot a cute dog or two! Would 100% recommend and give them ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best spot on Monton Road, the KFC bagel is the signature dish but don't sleep on the oxtail and shin birria eggs, sensational lunch.

Superb breakfast and my wife (who is from Mexico) said the birria eggs were incredible! Free sausage for the dog was a lovely touch as well, we'll be back!

I've had breakfast here before (full English) and it was probably the best I've had in Monton. I saw a review of someone raving about the Birria Eggs so decided to go try it. Can't fault the food, I wouldn't have chosen this dish if it hadn't been for the review but glad I did. Definitely more a lunch meal than breakfast but very tasty with just a nice level of spice. Also shared some Tirimisu pancakes with my wife, they were OK but wouldn't rush out to have those again. The only downside was the seating situation, it was very busy so we were asked to go upstairs. Now upstairs there are basically 4 seating areas - Round table for 4, rectangular table for 6, bar stool type seating for 2/3 and finally a lower down table with sofa/relaxed seating (not great for food). We were asked to sit at the stools, (which is probably the 2nd worst place to sit for food after the low down table), but I completely understand why as there were just 2 of us. However, before we got drinks another walk in couple were brought up and given the 4 seater table, then after them (we had drinks now) another couple came and were given the 6 seater table. I just think it would have been nice if we would have been asked first if we would like to have been moved to the proper tables if they were going to be occupied by the same number of customers, as we were there first and the stools weren't ideal for a sit down meal. Other than this, the staff were attentive and quick, just a shame this spoilt out enjoyment.

Had a delicious vegan meal here. The decor is very trendy and they also have a few vegan cakes (salted caramel crunch, Oreo flavored cookie etc.). I paid £17 for a cookie and pumpkin and mushrooms on sourdough. Love the originality of the menu. It’s dog friendly place too.

Korean chicken bagel is the best chicken burger you’ll ever have, unbelievable every time. Unfortunately the waiting staff aren’t always the friendliest they seem to have a knack for employing people with surly attitudes, Lonnie excluded he’s always sound. The food quality keeps us coming back though.

I saw Manchester’s finest review and honestly this place did not disappoint, the coffee was actually amazing and the food was really good and great portion sizes for the price, we had the kfc pancakes and the veggie breakfast and both were spot on! Will definitely be back here for a weekend brunch or just a coffee. The service was also spot on and quite quick. I’d say this place lives top 3 on Monton Road for me.

Dog friendly, Yorkshire tea, veggie breakfast was amazing inc halloumi, avocado and veggie black pudding. I usually hate tomato’s in my fry ups but the one here was very nice with flavour!

We were travelling to Manchester from Poland, read about this nice place, and decided to visit. Breakfast was delicious, the place is very busy, but this is totally understandable. We wanted to try more dishes from the menu and visited again this morning. Again, everything was lovely 🥰 Definitely recommend.

This place is 10/10 perfection, Birria eggs are the best thing I've ever tasted it doesn't get better than this portions are massive and the Korean fried Chicken pancakes are just as good fluffy pancakes, the fried chicken pisses on any you'll get anywhere in Manchester! Good breakfast as usual, but please bring back Salford Roasters coffee. You can taste the difference. The new stuff is nowhere near as good for the same price.

The food was delicious, amazing service and ambience. Definitely returning to try more items. Had the birria and KFC chicken bagel. Birria was such tender meat and the KFC chicken was Korean perfection!

New favourite in Monton without a doubt! Went for breakfast today at Playfoots Wow the food 10/10 I got the mushroom on toast which was so flavourful. The portion size was huge and the sourdough bread was to die for! Coffee was amazing. The other dishes were the full breakfast and veggie breakfast which was also delicious. Definitely a new favourite in monton.

Thursday quiz night would be great idea if quiz guy wasn't soooooo LOUD, also very political. And F*** this and that! When challenged on answer said alternatives we also right.🤔 Won't come back on a Thur unless they get another quiz guy.
