Me and my wife went for lunch Saturday 31st August we ordered kebabs on flat bread and chicken skewers on flat bread and a side of chips first of all the meal was excellent hot and tasty the place it's self was clean and roomy nicely laid out we was served by a young man Ashley who couldn't have been more attentive he was very helpful and very knowledgeable nothing was too much trouble a nice pleasant young man we will definitely be calling back

Was feeling hungry on my journey home so called in to The Robin Hood and decided to have a steak. What can i say it was the juiciest most delicious steak ive had in a while. I saw the manager come out of the kitchen and of course i had to compliment him on his food. He was very nice and polite and made time to talk to me. Will definitely be back soon.

This place is such a lovely cosy stop off pub,every time we have visited neither the staff or the food has ever failed to disappoint.

Went for a meal today and was served by a lady called Billie who was absolutely amazing so helpful what a great person she is, it was a busy day with it being a bank holiday ,food was great as always and we didn't have to wait long at all I will definitely recommend.

The food was great and the service was also really good in particular Carla 👌 would definitely visit again. The menu and choice of drinks was also really good

Having not used this pub for donkeys years we decided to try it for my mum's 93rd birthday lunch on tuesday. She had the chicken mix with chips & onion rings and really enjoyed it. My husband who has coeliac disease has to be gluten free and had his own non gluten containing menu & had the gammon sizzling meal with jackets & peas. I had a chicken burger which was lovely. It was my birthday today, Saturday & hubby took me again. I this time had the chicken mix and thoroughly enjoyed it.. nice crispy wings & tandoori thighs. Hubby this time had the hunters chicken with jacket & enjoyed that too. Today we were served by a lovely lady called Carla who went out of her way to make sure about the gluten free options available. All in all it was a very enjoyable meal, finished off with the chocolate sundae which was to die for. (Well it was my birthday) Would definitely visit again. Only one thing I would maybe like to see is the offer of gluten free chips. Would be nice for hubby to have a choice from a jacket spud occasionally. Jacket spuds can get a bit boring every meal out. Other than that well done Robin Hood and thanks Carla for a good experience. X

Just been 5 of us, wait was atrocious, food was poor, and had to clear our own table as staff couldn't cope. Never Again Ever.

We stopped on a whim while on a road trip on a Thursday night for dinner. Not only was it a trivia night, but 2 for 1 burgers too! We had so much fun playing trivia that our quick dinner stop became a 2.5 hour experience! The food was great and everyone was so friendly. Highly recommend a stop, especially on a Thursday night.

I came in on 01/08/24 for some lunch, I forgot too ask for a name but the man with the beard took my order and even tho we was quite picky he helped in every way possible. He made our experience one not to forget, the food was sensational, fast fresh and exactly what we wanted! Would definitely recommend

Ordered food and paid .. then to be told that they don't have what we wanted. So take our money then decide to say we don't have what we wanted.... Sooooo very wrong ... Not impressed. Trying to eat our food n all over our food was flies so we couldn't ever enjoy it all had to leave it. Not one staff asked if we enjoyed the food or nothing absolutely disgusting

Lovely food, brought out really fast, piping hot, and tasty! The lady who brought it out was lovely too! We booked as it was a Sunday and it was busy so worth checking but there were some walk in tables left.

1st time visit with kid. Great food and great staff. Look forward to trying the rest of the menu. The claw machine is a bonus for 2 years old. The only downside was table no.19 was a bit wonky, but still 5/5 👍

Brilliant day/night tonight the new manager was on the ball, making sure everyone was ok, very well organised even tho it was busy. 👍 bar staff were brilliant. 👏👏

We came on Weds early evening and Toby was such a good server and so helpful the food was great too. We also enquired at a late stage to book a table for Sunday for dinner and to stay and watch the England match for 10 people. The Landlord went above and beyond to accommodate us. Along with Toby phoning him to book us in. We have had the best food served really fast , fresh & with a smile and we are in the best place to watch the football and hopefully history in the making. The table and atmosphere is fabulous. Can’t thank you and your staff enough Cheers Guys & Girls. Let’s Just bring home the trophy it would be the icing on the cake. We defo coming back .

12 of us visited today 14th July for my father-in-law's 90th birthday. The food was good no complaints at a great price. Service was great. Must say one of the waitresses called KATIE was EXCEPTIONAL made my father-in-law's birthday extra special. Especially bring out his birthday cake. BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF. X

Went in on birthday 12,7,24,no service had to wait 15 mins,tried to order food what a joke staff said they finished shift so No food.never seen crappie service, it's not the first time in this pub me and my friends will NOT go back ever so sad..

We visited the Robin hood in Clifton today. There was a party of 10. The service, food and atmosphere was amazing. The price and choice of meals was mind blowing, spoilt for choice. Sorry I didn't take pictures as I was preoccupied with my friend who is visually impaired. I had flat bread with steak, onions, sauce and baby gem lettuce with a side of fries. Then I had a very nice piece of chocolate fudge cake with ice cream. It was all beautiful and plentiful and hot. What a lovely place to visit. Well worth it. Xx

My tacos where short of listed ingredients, presentation and heat... I was very disappointed with the meal and service. No member of staff came over to ask if everything was OK? . Overall a unsatisfactory visit.

It's okay, think food has gone a bit downhill over the years and service is a bit slapdash.

My family always go here for birthday celebrations. The food is nice esp the steaks and the things on the grill. It had great weekday offers and great vibes. Would defo come here again!

Had a brilliant experience here all down to a manager named Katie who completely went above and beyond! I had ordered the rib and chicken combo and whilst the ribs were wonderful, the chicken was dry and tasteless but Katie could not do enough to fix it! She is a wonderful manager with brilliant customer service and cannot thank her enough!

Our first visit for a family dinner. Excellent customer service from Katie. The food was spot on. Shame about Jack and his appalling attitude. Luckily, Katie and the food saved the day. We will return.

Went for a meal with the family all 12 of us were served by Katie who was very hospitable and quick to attend to us when needing anything , she is a credit to your company!

Came last night and ordered a ribeye steak. Staff were really friendly and the food was cooked perfectly! Gave our compliments to Paul the chef as we were leaving. Will definitely be returning!

Slow cooked rib of beef absolutely stunning, chicken wing challenge made my day to start on , food is great , service is hit and miss , maybe brand new staff but i wasnt dissapointed as the food was delicious. Outside area descent but youre next to motorway so lots of car sounds , little slide and fun for kids so you could chill outside if nice weather

Food was typical pub grub. It was nice the servers were friendly. The rooms could do with being updated or having a very good clean but all in all it served its purpose. Wouldn't go out of my way to go back but as u attended a birthday lunch there it was nice!

My friend and I have been going here for food over past few month and we haven't had a bad meal yet,the menu is great, there is lots of choice,the food is always presented nice and always hot when it arrives,great service off friendly staff.

Came In today for tea with my family, the food was lovely I had tikka tandoori which was stunning… kids had burger and pasta they enjoyed it but hands down the bast part was the service from Katie, this is the 2nd time iv been in this week and she was amazing, friendly and so happy no matter how busy she was she was always happy to help always had a smile… will definitely be returning 😊

Had a roast dinner and was absolutely beautiful. Everything was cooked to perfection. Katie even brought me a pint to the table whilst I was eating so I didn’t have to queue.

Called in this lovely pub for breakfast and was welcomed by Billie. What a great lass. Found us a table and brought our drinks over with a smile. Shared a funny story and made laugh. Compliments to the chef as the breakfast was really good and value for money .

My dad and I had the mixed grill skillet and all meet was so tender, as someone who has oesophagus problems it was refreshing to be able to eat all of the meat, easy to cut and so easy to eat, compliments to the chef and all staff were very helpful

Absolutely shocking service bar staff are so slow tables not cleared for hours and being given dirty looks off staff Staff wearing headphones and coats walking around the venue and in and out the kitchen highly unprofessional and unhygienic Absolutely disgusting tables not cleaned properly and unpolished and unclean cutlery

Was sent a voucher for food at this pub... bit of confusion, firstly with staff saying voucher had expired, then saying it wasn't a Green King voucher... anyway, long story short, voucher swapped by really polite bar staff. Food excellent value, quick service and piping hot. Great value and really tasty! It seems Green King vouchers come in many different shapes and sizes and names! However, as I say, great polite staff who were working really hard. Thank you.

Went in today 2.4.24,the whole place has changed for the worse,last year was great,the place was buzzing,great food,the staff was on top of everything,went in today,the place is grubby,i leant on the table,my coat stuck to the table,food on the floor,plates,glasses,were left on tables,theres a new female chef in there,she could do with a good bath,roll up hanging out of her mouth,she was in the toilet where my daughter was,my daughter said she was on toilet,when she came out she DID NOT WASH HER HANDS, " COME BACK SEAN" and the staff you had,

No sausage with the mix grill and no explanation. 8oz rump steak like shoe leather. Staff ignore you at the bar and then seem to serve you under duress! Not a good night tbf! Although on a good note, the waiting staff are very efficient and attentive and our dogs got the shoe leather steak! Not happy 😒

Booked a table of six lovely food all hot and fresh one of the best meals I’ve had in a greene king pub faultless.All the other food that I saw come out of the kitchen was bang on too well done who ever was on the pass FOH friendly too.

Went 17-3-2023 at 14:30 dined with my kids I had chicken wings with piri piri sauce, the wings would have been much nicer if the skins were crispy and the sauce🤔, Kids had the chicken mix they liked it until they started on the Mac and cheese was very bland and not very cheesy, wants some improvement, but over all a pleasant meal and not over priced at £37.95 the staff are very nice and helpful, to be fair this is probably one of the best menues I've seen in all the places I've been to for a pub, maybe a few more vegetarian options would be great, pint of shandy, strawberry cider and a coke was £14.05, would I have a return visit🤔keep up with the great work 👍

What an amazing experience. We were served by a woman named Katie. She provided the best customer service I've ever had. My little girl was upset and she came over to cheer her up. Also made sure we were happy with the food. She was very well manned and made us have such an amazing night Thank you Katie we definitely will be coming more often

Absolutely amazing! We had the Steak Fondue sharer and it was mouth watering delicious! Love coming here and will carry on coming here. The ladies serving us Laura and Katie were so nice and accommodating. The food was quick, hot and tasty, we even stayed for dessert which was gorgeous. Amazing venue, would 100000x recommend to anyone!
