Albert's Worsley in Salford

The food was good but the service from one of the managers was exemplary. I found some string in my lamb ragu but the way it was handled was textbook.

We dinned from 12:30pm and it wasn’t busy only a few tables seated however it took a while for our order to be taken and I had to ask someone to come over twice once for water for the table and if we could order dessert.

Excellent friendly service. Great quality food which we know well from previous visits. Always dependable 😛

The ribeye sharer steak for 2 was cooked to perfection. Waited quite a while for our main meal, but definitely was worth the wait. Lovely server, but was too busy with other customers, we felt a little forgotten at times. A server from another table assisted instead on a couple of occasions. Overall, hoping to be back soon.

Great value for money. Used the 2-3 course lunch menu with some lovely food choices and apart from the soup being a little salty, we enjoyed our meal. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the place is just lovely

Lovely get together with friends. Always a lovely atmosphere at Alberts when I’ve been. Warm welcome and taken straight to table. Food was tasty and service was just right. Good choice off set menu. Was really good to be able to get a two course meal for £15. Can highly recommend the delicious broccoli soup. Would definitely recommend Xxx

Great service, very competitively priced lunch menu.

The food, the service were excellent. What is not needed is the live music at that time. With all the chatter going on the extra live music is not needed. We struggled to talk while the live music was playing but as soon as it stopped and we just had background music ithe noise levels were fine.

Thank you Lauryn for making our dining experience so lovely, my mum felt extra special on her birthday! Our steaks and sides were delicious, dessert also :) we will be back again soon.

Shared my 60th birthday with my family here, food was delicious and the service was fantastic. 5 stars to Dom who was our waiter for the evening and was exceptional from the start to finish. Very busy. The staff were attentive until they brought our food, but then we didn't see them for about 90 minutes!

Been here a few times for the lunch time menu. The staff are friendly and efficient and the atmosphere is pleasant for a lunch time meal. I would definitely recommend the steak frites. Just note it is card only.

The food we had was lovely, but as soon as we sat down were told a number of items were sold out! Then when we ordered a bottle of wine that was sold out too. Service was great and the food we eventually chose was delicious, but a bit disappointed that what we were originally going to choose wasn’t available.

It was busy compared to my expectations for a Tuesday night. Food was great but service could have been a little more attentive as it took a long time for a drinks order to be taken.

The food was delicious, our waitress (Gerda) was attentive and friendly and we received a complimentary brownie with a birthday candle as it was our son's 18th. A lovely way to celebrate his special day!

The fillet steak was the poorest quality I have been served for some many years I understand restaurant's these days need to economise but the quality of food has definitely eroded here at Albert's Worsley. A diner who lived locally.

Food would have been nice, had it been hot. The gravy comes in a small metal "jug" type receptacle, not great when the gravy IS hot, and so trying to pick the metal jug up without burning your fingers is difficult. We were given 1 napkin between 2 of us, and when I went to ask for another, I got given small black tissues that you rest cocktails on. It seems to be a venue that looks very nice and clean and you think "oh this will be nice", but in reality it's over priced and disappointing. Didn't even bother with a desert, as 1. They're were no desert menus, and we were not offered one when they collected our plates. When I looked online at the deserts, they seemed pretentious and over the top. Overall a disappointment.

Went to Alberts Worsley to celebrate our son's 18th Birthday with family. Had a lovely time, food was fantastic and a great atmosphere. Didn't feel rushed. Service was brilliant, with attentive staff. Everyone had a lovely time, for some it was their first time. Will definitely return.

Food was value for money. We were able to choose from both the main and 2 or 3 course set menu. Service great, friendly staff, attentive and approachable. Atmosphere relaxed and congenial promoting a pleasant ambience allowing customers to engage in their own conversations.

We have been using Albert’s at Worsley for some years now but after booking a table for the 14th Feb, they contacted me wanting a deposit and are milking the fact that it’s Valentine’s Day, with price hikes etc. I wasn’t interested in their promotions or Valentine’s Day. I only booked the table because it’s usually our restaurant of choice. I’ve told them to forget it and we will dine on a different night at a different restaurant. Just shows you how they treat their regular customers. In a word Badly! We will now have to find a local restaurant that look after their regular customers as Albert’s are clearly not customer focused and in very annoyed about their money grabbing attitude. We will only be going back there if we are desperate! John Cairns

Great Sunday dinner, the meats were cooked extremely well but the veg were a bit hit & miss. The Yorkshire puds were excellent! Special mention to Gerda who looked after us during our meal. Very friendly and attentive as always 👍👍

I have eaten at Albert's worsley many times and I always enjoy my visits and the food I have there. Unfortunately tonight was the first time the food really let me down. I ordered the ramen dish from the lunchtime menu and it was very disappointing. The noodles were not genuine udon noodles and they were very over done. My starter was delicious though.

Booked Albert’s for a catch up dinner with a friend, as it is centrally located for both of us. It was great to see the restaurant busy despite it being mid-January. The atmosphere was vibrant but not overly loud. The staff were friendly, although I would say their some staffs dress code was more casual than previously seen. It was always nice to see people following the same Color theme at least. Our food was good, I particularly enjoyed the mussels which accompanied the salmon fillet. They are also doing Fizz Fridays (50% off champagne). Overall another great visit to Albert’s.

I love going here! The staff are always so friendly and helpful and the food never disappoints! I even had my wedding here! The prices are fair and the drinks are grate!

Usually very happy with Albert’s but unfortunately today I was really disappointed. I found the fish and chips greasy and the profiterole too heavily flavoured with almond which spoiled it.

Me and my partner had not been to Albert’s in more than 12 months due to bad service. We decided to try again and it was so different. We always enjoy the food and this visit was no exception. Food was great. However the service was excellent. Not sure if this was due to an overall in new staff or to Marvin who was looking after the area we were seated in. He was fantastic. Nothing was too much and he was very attentive and chased up drinks and made sure we were well looked after. We probably won’t leave our next visit too long.

Enjoyed a fabulous Sunday lunch, food was amazing!! Had beef, lamb and chicken between us and all delicious!! Service was excellent. Server was Lauryn who was really friendly and attentive and even brought out a mini cake and candle for my son’s birthday ! Definitely would recommend.

Eat at Alberts regularly both at Standish and Worsley. Never had a disappointing experience ever. Food and service fabulous. Staff are brilliant with their knowledge of allergies and people with disabilities. Will always be back.

We’ve been twice in the last couple of weeks. The food has been excellent both times, and the two courses for £15 is really good value. The service has been great both times - we’ve been looked after by Lauryn and Lizzie who were both excellent.
