Lauryn is the best server ! & the roast dinner on Sunday was amazing I would recommend the lamb rump in particular.

Came here for a dads birthday dinner, food was delicious, service by lovely Aga was excellent! would recomend!

We (pair plus daughter) sat down to celebrate a personal achievement. Restaurant was empty, granted it was about 16h30 on a Tuesday. We ordered some bottled beer and tequila which was fine, albeit a bit pricey for a commercial brand of beer. The food however was the problem. Daughter's Panko Chicken was burnt and oily. I felt guilty watching her eat it, and commented on my wife's homemade version being much better. The chips (fries) used in the restaurant is frozen precooked and refried on site, no better than a KFC or McD chip. Wife's steak arrived and on first bite my spouses face and reaction told me something was wrong... she said she will not be eating it and that something is wrong! I cut a piece and upon bringing it closer the stench of excrement filled my nostrils. The steak was rotten, we returned it at which point we had to watch the entire staff have a sniff at the food plate near the restaurant kitchen. A manager came out to apologize, and offer a replacement. We replaced it with a burger, which was nothing to write home about. In retrospect we should have got up, paid for the drinks and left, but we were in shock and hungry. Ended up paying the bill, still leaving the 10% service charge on...because the serving staff didnt have fault in the event. But I ask myself today... could the chef not smell that steak while he was cooking? We will go down road to Miller & Carter next time ;)

Great atmosphere, food and friendly service

Loved every minute ,have been before and was looking forward to the peppered steak again ,it didn't disappoint,served by a lovely lad but didn't get his name,can't wait to go back again x

Went for lunch on a busy day. All the staff are well trained quick and efficient. Very friendly - Lauren who served us was great. Nothing was a problem. The food was brilliant. It's not the cheapest but you are getting what you pay for so it's well worth it. Left very happy.

Food was tasty, but not copious. Service from Aga was spot-on and couldn't be faulted. Not a fan of the auto-added 10% discretionary service charge, though. No idea why food outlets think it's okay for them to add this charge as we don't use the same wages model as the U.S. In this case, we let it go 'cos Aga was very good, Of course, the argument is that it's discretionary, but customers are put under pressure and don't want to appear mean, even if the service they receive is crap. I won't return to any place that adopts this approach and thinks it's acceptable, so the restaurant has now lost the prospect of future repeat business. Good job🙄.

We had a wonderful Sunday lunch with the family, enjoying a vibrant atmosphere and live music. The roast beef was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. A special thanks to Joe for his friendly and attentive service, which made our experience even more enjoyable.

I’ve been meaning to try Albert’s for a while as I always drive past it - it did not disappoint! I had the haddock linguini for lunch and it was just fab. Great atmosphere and vibe in there and our server Joe was excellent too. Thank you and will defo be back!

Served by Marcin today and other staff who were very friendly and attentive. Can't recommend this place enough , we visit often. Food is delicious, prepared and served to a high standard by all. Plenty of places to eat and drink inside and out , booking recommended as this place is popular and can have busier periods. Thanks for a great experience again and we will be back .

Decided to try the new breakfast menu. Great menu on offer. Had the full breakfast and wasn't disappointed. Twinnings tea served in a pot. Service from staff was excellent. 3 very satisfied customers. The atmosphere was pleasant and we sat in the window providing us with an easy Sunday morning breakfast.

Absolutely loved our Sunday dinner sharer, the meal was beautiful. Everything was seasoned amazingly, will certainly be recommending this to everyone.

Firstly very slow service, had to ask could we order. Ordered a garlic bread with cheese & tomato to be told they can’t do that, yet I come to the restaurant often and it’s always done. Ordered a Sunday roast & compared to previous ones here this was diabolical. It’s meant to come with ‘seasonal veg’ the only veg on the plate was carrots when usually green beans etc are included. Raised this issue and the waiter just said the menu had changed & him nor the manager knew anything about it. The chicken was extremely dry & there was a dash of gravy on it. Asked for a side of cauliflower cheese, a bowl of garden peas came out. We sent those back and when the cauliflower did come out there was 4 pieces of cauliflower burnt. It looked like it had half been eaten and warmed back up. Finally, my partner then joined us and wanted to eat food but didn’t want to sit outside, he asked could we move inside and we was told no. Yet OpenTable was showing that there was tables available at that time. Overall a shocking experience which is ashame because as mentioned earlier it’s usually a lovely restaurant.

Great place for lunch, good choices for a 2 course lunch. The lunch menu has good choices but somewhat restricted. Pleasant staff, good value for money. Plenty of free parking. There is a kids' menu so good for a family meal. The menu is changed according to the season. Seating available indoors and outside.

Fabulous experience as always. Alberts met all our expectations and requirements plus our extra requests. Gerda our main server was very professional and polite with a great personality. This is why we return again and again.

Nice food. End of meal coffee was disappointing. No biscuit. ( which in my opinion should be a basic at this type of restaurant. I really didn’t want a dessert. However, most places do a coffee and mini dessert. Nothing like that available.

The food was tasty, but the service was poor. Spent nearly £200 between 3 of us… No server asked how our food was. We have had feedback from the manager Oliver and he has advised he has watched the CCTV and responded to in an unsatisfactory manner. He has failed to understand our concerns, one of them being lack of attention and waiting 20 minutes for a drink at the end. We feel after spending a lot of money over the few years to no longer return to Albert’s worsley.

I love Albert’s but this week the food let it down the beef was very fatty and the roast potatoes were very over cooked.

Poor quality ribeye steaks. I asked for 2 ribeye plain no veg or sides. First time they brought out covered in a garlic sauce which I did not ask for or was on the menu ? Also covered in watercress. Which I told them I didn’t want. Also brought out on 2 plates? They then re cooked 2 steaks on 1 plate again covered in watercress. I’ve had better from Aldi. When you’re paying £60 for a plate of steak it should be high quality and cooked to perfection but unfortunately it was neither. I told them I and my wife had a seed oil intolerance ( alergy ) which they just could not understand. As they cook everything in rapeseed oil which is slowly killing the nation. Why is it so difficult to get a grilled steak.

Interesting and varied menu, with several fish options. The rabbit gnocchi starter was delicious, as was the focaccia and just enough to prepare us for the main event. We opted for salmon and sea bass for our main courses, together with green beans and swiss chard - cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. After such a hearty meal I opted for lavender panna cotta for desert, my husband couldn't resist the almond tart and neither of us was disappointed, they were both scrumptious. It was a Saturday lunchtime and the restaurant was busy but service was excellent throughout, making it a very pleasant start to our weekend.

My husband and I both ordered rib-eye steak well done. His was cooked fine but mine was rare in the middle. I asked for my steak to be cooked through but when it came back it was just the same! On the third attempt I was given a steak belonging to someone else and finally got mine on the 4th attempt. We got splashed with a spilt drink by one of the waiters and presented with somebody else's bill. What a fiasco ! This is not a cheap restaurant and we expected better. On the plus side the staff are very nice and Albert's is an attractive venue ( although a little bit noisy. )

I meet with friends every few months and for the last few meetings we have eaten at Alberts in Worsley. Normally everything is excellent but last night I was a little disappointed with the food. I chose chunky chips instead of fries and when my food arrived the chips were lukewarm and very few in number. My friend ordered skinny fries and got so much more on her plate! I thought I’d go for the healthier option but wished I’d chosen the other 😆 I didn’t mention anything at the time as the staff were busy and I didn’t like to make a scene about a few chips….apart from that we had a lovely evening & love Alberts, it hasn’t put me off as we have already agreed to meet there again next time 🥰

Best Sunday roast ever! Get the platter you won’t regret it

We booked an early table as we were attending a show in Manchester. We only ordered garlic bread as a starter and then a main each. We waited for approximately 20 mins for the garlic bread to be brought which was fine. We then waited over an hour for our main courses. No one came over to apologise until we asked were our meals were. Then the manager came over and explained there had been a mix up in the kitchen and our food was being plated right then. We then waited for further 6 to 7 mins for the food to be served. The food was very nice. However it's disappointing when basics like potatoes aren't served with an already expensive main course and side dishes are £4.50 each. We like Albert's and have visited several times but unfortunately we won't be returning after this experience.

Saturday night extremely busy but first class service .

Love Alberts breakfast. The staff are lovely and we loved sitting on the patio having breakfast. Reasonably priced and a good varied menu.

I recently came for a meal with my friends and had a great experience. I’d highly recommend the seabass it tasted super fresh. We were served by Joe who was very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. I would definitely return!

I was meeting a friend who I had not seen for a while. The food and service were excellent and the noise level perfect for a good girlie catch up . We had the set lunch menu which was very good value for money. I would highly recommend

Came here for dinner with my boyfriend and it was exceptional! It was our first time visiting after having been recommended it by our friends. We had the Seabass and Steak frites which were both 10/10. A big thank you to Joe who served us this evening, who has very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back.

Must say some of our group were dissatisfied with their meals. On the £14.95 meal deal there was no choice to order extras? So they got seabass with potatoes that was it ? No veg , and veg is one of the cheapest things to buy. Gone down in there estimation now and don’t want go again. Said they get better value elsewhere. Which is true.

The food was excellent, but I felt the choices were limited. Particularly with the Lunch Menu.

Lots of variety, food tasty, mains and starters excellent choices for adults and children, however dessert choices for children were a little dissapointing.

Went for a Sunday lunch, not been in ages so thought we would give it a try. I was so disappointed, The starters were basic the Sunday lunch consisted of over cooked roast potatoes, mash and carrots, alongside a small portion of the meat. I dont like yorkshire puddings so I asked for extra veg instead, once the YP was taken away there seemed to be nothing left on the plate except carrots ....For sunday lunch Georges surpasses this in every way as does the Old Hall.

My stater was outstanding but the main Chicken dinner wasn't as good, the chicken was tough and carrots was swimming in oil.

The service we got from all the waiters and waitresses was excellent especially Marcin. The food was delicious and came within a good time. We were there as a family for my granddaughters birthday and the staff made a nice fuss of her. The only thing that could have improved the experience more was if they hadn't run out of a lot of the items on the menu. Thank you we will be back.

Once again we had really good food, in lovely surroundings - and with super attentive, but not over the top staff.

First time eating @ Albert’s Worsley. Great pre 5 pm saver menu, nice choice of dishes, all of good portions, sea bass was beautifully crisp and flavourful! Singer & key board player came on @ 5 which if I was being super critical felt a bit early as it became tricky to hold a conversation with friends we were keen to catch up with. Lovely meal and as ever with Albert’s great attentive service from all, we shall return. Thank you

Lovely evening we were invited to a free drinks and taster evening between 5.30-7.30 it was a bit disorganised so we missed out on a lot of the taster food as there was too many people who were not invited jumping in. We booked to have a meal in the restaurant afterwards which was very good apart from both my husband and myself ‘s swordfish was overcooked. Apart from that the service was excellent and our waitress Gherda was lovely and very efficient.

2 course meal deal sea bass main and cheesecake sweet. Both were very tasty but have to say portions (particularly sweet) were small and snack size. Service excellent but had to wait a while for coffees.

First impression very good as we arrived early and was asked to sit at bar. After being seated we gave our drinks order and then our food. After our starters we were served our mains and then all the staff seem to disappear. The tables surrounding us were full of dirty plates and glasses, we had to wave at staff trying to attract their attention as we required more drinks. After our 3rd course we were not asked if we wanted coffees or any more drinks. The bill came and we paid and left. I always say goodbye and thank you to staff as I leave but as we left there was no one to be seen.

We booked a table for the Sunday and ate from the set party menu. Unfortunately this was extremely expensive whereas Alberts is usually good value for money. Unfortunately this was the worst meal we had ever had here. The Bruschetta was very soggy with an extremely small bit of mozzarella on it. 4 of us ordered the sea bass which was meant to come with dauphinois potatoes these were forgotten about and didn’t come out until we had eaten the rest of the meal. The steak was not cooked rare for another one of the guests which was disappointing. Overall it was far too expensive for what we got. We have always enjoyed Albert’s so this was a real shame.

First time having breakfast at Alberts Worsley, had such amazing service from Oli & Marcin who took such good care of us, but especially the wonderful bundle of energy Chef we came across named Kyron, we shall be back and hope to have the same staff as today, great experience! Thank you guys ❤️

Food very tasty tho limited menu but totally enjoyable food & atmosphere

Love Albert's, I go regularly but last time we were placed on a table next to the ice maker and it was so noisy we asked to change tables which they did. Service wasn't as good as usual - we had to get up to get a server twice as they just weren't coming to us and we ended up with meals for 7 people when there was only 6 of us. Was disappointed that despite letting them know it was a birthday celebration they didn't even mention 'happy birthday'. They ask if its for a birthday when you book so I'm not sure why they ask if they do nothing about it. Hopefully we just caught them on a bad day as usually it's superb at Albert's and the service is usually outstanding
