Awful! Do not buy from here! Had a very difficult day to start with and had to order food, nothing came for 1 hour and 35 minutes. Came past 11pm. Contacted store who just said on its way. Nothing came. Called again and it had shut!! A delivery person came without ebtire order. Incredibly disappointing. I want a refund

We have ordered many times from here however the delivery times have gone from an average of 1 hour to 2 hours (previous two orders). Ridiculous wait for a pizza & it prevents us from bothering too often. My advice pre order it at 4pm if you want it in the evening

The best Cajun pasta I have ever had!!! Delivery takes a while but it is soooo worth it!

Normally really enjoy the food from here. But this evening the food was cold. The pasta dish I always get was bland, tasteless, very oily and not enjoyable at all. The cheesy garlic bread was not the best

My food has taken 2 hours to come, i spoke to them and they said they haven’t even made my food as they only make the food when it is allocated to a driver , i had a notification that my food was on its way at 7:40. it is now 8:30 and italian express haven’t even made my food yet. frustrated and disappointed once again

2 hour wait for food when it said an hour. Rang them twice and they apologised but it’s just not good enough, i wouldn’t bother again.

Excellent food as usual and on time

Ordered a week or two ago, typical wait time is supposedly 1hr 10. We waited for more than 2 hours on a relatively small order, received cold food eventually, and it was all squashed in the boxes. Partner had to microwave their meal. No response when reviewed on their site. We usually go here for Pizza but I'm starting to think it's not worth the risk anymore.

ordered a pizza through just eat, said it would arrive within 45 minutes. had to call the restaurant who said they were busy and the order would be another 45 minutes. then had to call the restaurant again who then said it would be another 15-20 minutes. poor communication and pizza was cold.

Used to be really good and food is nice but recent delivery times and customer service have made me have to stop ordering from them. Orders take over 2 hours to arrive and when you call they either lie about it being out for delivery, don’t answer calls or hang up. After waiting over 2 hours today I requested some compensation via Just Eat and they refused. Poor service and they don’t care about customers who have been ordering from them for years. It’s a shame.

Great food but they were so busy I ended up calling through after 1.5hrs to find out it was going to be another 30 mins, so went to collect instead.

Never had problems with our food from here but the meatballs tasted funny and where pink in the middle, the mushrooms in sauce were ok but no flavour other than cream, the cheesy garlic bread was full off solid air holes. Delivery time was great thou

Food was marked as delivered when it wasn’t, when challenged it showed as out of delivery again. Food was cold when it arrived, the calzone base was soggy and garlic bread seemed stale. Seemed like the food had been sat out for a long time before it got to us. It’s a shame as usually good from here

Took over 2 hours and 30 mins to be delivered, every time you called you are told the driver had just left with it and it will be 10 minutes.. not he first time this has happened either - this is the last time using here

We always order from here as the food is delicious , however it was over an hour late . The fries and garlic bread were cold . Just eat contacted them for a refund , which they refused as they were busy . Don’t take orders if you can’t honour . We ordered at 6.30 and received our cold food at 8.40 . Very poor service and not cheap for cold food . Highly disappointing .

not up to the usual standards tonight. delivery was woefullly late (to the point the app actually said delivered). Then found out the pizza was wrong and slightly burned. Had many good meals from this restaurant but it seems standards are slipping recently

Ordered a mushroom pizza and paid for sundried tomato, goats cheese, pineapple and jalepeno on it. Came with no goats cheese, no sundried tomato, barely any pineapple or jalepenos and absolutely COVERED with mushrooms like a laughable amount. It was literally dripping because it was so soggy, disgusting

Always been a fan of this restaurant food is always on point. But the last few orders have been very late and the price you pay for the food isn’t reflected in the quality of service.

Pizza was cold and un- eatable, order placed and delivered after over 2 hours later. Will not be ordering from here again.

Terrible I didn’t receive the order , stated driver had attempted to deliver twice and no response when they called me …NOT TRUE . Rang up informed putting order through. Waited again rang up cancelled order I hope I am refunded….. just terrible

nearly 2 hours it took for delivery and got the pizza order wrong. ring up and was told it will be 20mins to send the right pizza out. 40mins later and still hasnt been delivered. wont be ordering again!!

Would not recommend this place for takeaway, 2 hours still no food, blame the systems for the order not coming through, no offer of compensation, not the first time I have experienced this, last time the food came after 2 hours 15 mins, food was freezing. No care given from the staff at the lack of service. Definitely Avoid.

Waiting 2 hours for pasta is wild. They couldn't find my order. I told them I ordered it on their website and all of a sudden it's out with the driver 🫠 it still took half an hour from there. It's a takeaway ran by a bunch of teenagers and it shows.

Ordered for collection was ready when I arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. Ordered carbonara, garlic bread with cheese and bbq ribs, was really disappointed pasta sauce was curdled and swimming in grease, ribs were lacking substance and not much meat and the garlic bread base was so thin it was rock hard and garlic bread was cold.

I waited 2 hours for my food and the garlic bread was cold. My children had fallen asleep so most was wasted and uneaten due to the length of time it took to arrive.

Delivery took 2 hours 15 minutes. Rang to chase twice and was told the drive left 5 minutes ago. Pizza arrived cold, dough thick and uncooked. Used to be amazing, not sure what’s happened! Would not recommend!!!!!!

Great quality food. Arrabiatta is perfectly spiced. Garlic bread.. can’t fail. Chips… just like Maccys but hot. Sponge cake.. really tasty A really nice restaurant meal. Turned up warm and tasty

Worst Italian food ive ever had. The Spinach and ricotta is 100% batch cooked and frozen, it was like wasabi paste and completely tasteless. Unacceptable from a restaurant that advertises itself as always using fresh ingredients. I had 4 bites and couldn't eat anymore. What a waste of £18.99, I won't ever be back.

My whole order cost nearly £50 to find mould on my deserts!!! And they were out of date since may 2024 when it's now 24th September 6. Turned me off my whole meal it all went into the bin ! I've photos to prove it which I will post online as they have just refunded my for the two cakes that had mould but not the rest of the Order which I just would not trust to eat !

Food was lovely but the extra items were not there in the food in my partners dish. Which spoiled the meal. Mine was lovely as always please read the order first and some one else check it’s been done. We love this place best Italian takeaway round here. We have been having your meals 10 yrs now. Was a little disappointed tonight Mike said it was the worst tonight from you. So sorry we luv your food.

Great delivery and service tonight

First time ordering from here. Food was really tasty, hot and fresh. We had the spaghetti carbonara and it was beautiful, wasn’t keen on the slight buttery taste to it though but it was good nonetheless. Garlic bread was nice as well. Thank you :)

Will not order from here again usually takes a while for delivery but tonight it was an hr or so, food come freezing cold so no one wanted to eat it spent almost £40 and when I reported this to deliveroo I got £8 refund…not the first time this has happend and we do like the food but won’t bother again.

Ordered for delivery, took over an hour and 45minutes to arrive. Despite the app saying the food was out for delivery, when the shop was called they said the food was still being prepared and then hung up the phone. Poor customer service and the food was definitely not worth the long wait times.

Food was delicious. Hot when it arrived and the portions of chips and coleslaw were more than generous. Very good pizzas. Ordered twice from here now and everything has been great. Recommend this place based on the service and the high quality of the food and it's nice and hot when it's delivered.

Really gone down hill recently. Used to be lovely, authentic Italian food. Now it’s just the same as every other pizza shop but double the price.

I ordered a deliveroo and it took 1 hour 45 minutes (45minutes over schedule time) . I called 4 times from the expected time to be told it is on its way….not great customer service! They did not provide an upto date notification and I had no way to track the delivery! The food was ok, nothing special and to wait nearly 2 hours ruined the whole meal! Don’t order deliveroo it’s not worth it!!

Every time I order from here I get the pesto pasta and ask for it to be without mushrooms, and every time it comes exactly like that. I am probably around 10 minutes away from this place yet when I get it delivered it is always very hot and comes in plastic tubs (which probably helps it stay hot). There was a time when I had accidentally placed my order to my boyfriend's house instead of my own and rang them to see if it is possible to change the address. The young girl on the other end of the phone was very accommodating and assured us that she had changed the address and the order came to me with no issues. The drivers delivering the orders are also very friendly, I had one today and I asked if he had been waiting long, he assured me he hadn't and said he didn't want to knock too loudly incase others in my household were asleep. From what I have noticed, Italian express likes to hire friendly staff who are accommodating and care about their customers. I have ordered from Italian express countless times and I have not once had an issue, which is rare for takeaways in my area. I am again one happy customer who will continue returning!! I have also noticed it is quite a bit cheaper if you order on their app compared to delivery apps like uber so I will be ordering from there from now on :)

The food has gone down so much. The pasta della casa had little to no sauce with it and the little sauce their was was watery. Again, the ribs used to come with so much sauce but this time none. Also I ordered 4 cans of vimto and only 1 arrived, how can you get it so wrong. I won't be ordering from here again.

The pastas here are amazing...you pay a bit more but it is worth it. You get what you pay for. My fave place when I want a more sophisticated takeaway pasta meal

Very disappointed with the pizzas ordered. The Anatra (duck pizza) piled with masses of spring onions and cucumber, hoison sauce too strong. One pizza overcooked on top, the other undercooked underneath. Not acceptable quality, especially when paying a premium price. Standards seems to have dropped here.

Nice food, but very expensive for small pizzas. Please lower your prices! Can't justify using this a lot. Other places much better value.

Used to be really good but now the pizzas seem to be undercooked. Dough isn’t quite right & seems as though the pizzas are put through the oven just a little too quickly Expensive for what it is. Better off getting a Dominoes! This used to be the go to place for us but no longer sadly.

Great food however I can’t seem to understand why the delivery time is sooo long. We live in Eccles it should not take 2 hours to get to our address. It’s just disappointing when the food is great. Wouldn’t recommend due to delivery

The food ordered tastes great, looks good. Absolutely no issues there but the length of time from order to actually getting the food isn't. Whilst I appreciate the Thurs before a bank holiday the restaurant may be a busier waiting from ordering at 7:30 to receiving it at 9:25 is not acceptable. It taints the experience and quite frankly if I knew it would be that long I wouldn't of chose this place. When ordering it said 45mins to 60 mins and then when it was placed it changed to 90 mins but then I still had to chase it up when it got to the 90 mins mark! Overall, sadly the food isn't worth the long wait

We ordered a take out from Italian express. The order took an hour and a half too arrive, the food was actually pretty good and you get a good amount for each portion i has wedges with chicken and bacon along with spaghetti meatballs, my wife ordered carbonara. Now I'm not a massive fan of Italian food but I must admit it i quite enjoyed it. The price was a little steep but I find Italian restaurants tend to be pricey. My preferred choice is usually Indian meals. So if you enjoy Italian food and you have money to burn its a good choice.

The pizza was so thin that I have never seen any similar before in my life. It has little to do with any kind of pizza dough, the topping was placed on a plain tortilla sheet. I will never, ever order from here again.
