A lovely little gem serving delicious momos. Whoever made this place is smart because the interior is very modern and casual, yet the food is very authentic and tasty - great for attracting the younger demographics in the area.
You can choose different fillings, styles of cooking and sauces for your momos, so you can make numerous different combinations. I would recommend ordering 3 plates of momos for 2 people, or 2 plates and an appetizer.
Everything is seasoned very well, although it is not spicy, so do not worry if you order the spicy version- it is not super spicy. I particularly recommend the bison filling and the deep-fried style of cooking for the momos.
The price is very reasonable - we paid 36 GBP for 3 momo dishes, an appetizer and diet coke.
From the moment we entered the restaurant, the service were friendly and welcoming. The food was piping hot and delicious. They did get the cocktail order wrong but, this was quickly resolved. Will definitely return next time we visit Manchester. Lovely, somewhat hidden gem that is away from the hustle and bustle and offers a quieter atmosphere to the larger restaurants in the surrounding area.
So so so sorry for the late review. Ive been meaning to do it for ages. Went there for my birthday last year and it was such a lovely time. Wonderful people and absolutely amazing food. Loved talking to everyone and I will absolutely return. Recommend if you want to have a memorable and lovely evening ❤️
Came to Thirsty Korean after it reopened from the previous location. Second day in business, they kept being incredibly attentive and pre warning us on potentially food being a bit late. However, we didn’t find the food being late at all, considering we arrived without booking with quite a few other tables arriving at the same time. The service was really attentive and the food was just as good as we remembered it. So excited for this to be open again and closer to where we live!
We stopped in as part of a tap room tour of Manchester. Despite dealing with a load of chaotic blokes trying to order the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Great beer, great service and a great atmosphere. One of my favourite taprooms in Manchester
