This place was the bees knees! The food was delectable; the atmosphere was warm & accommodating, and Niti and the rest of the staff were very friendly. To top it off, there’s often classic emo/pop/punk playing, which certainly adds to the charm! The momos are my favourite, too :-)

This is such a nice restaurant, friendly people and beautiful food 💖 we had steamed Momos and the dips were made to our spice levels! Delicious momos. The cheesy chops were so nice and a great side dish with the spicy sauces. We had the paneer shishlik sizzler, the paneer cooked to perfection and the tomato sauce on it was sooooo tasty. Plus chatpate salad for the crunch. Yum highly recommend. Eat all the things, then have dessert 🤩

What a gem of a place! I recently booked onto their new momo making workshop with my friends. It was so much fun and a great way to spend the evening. Our momos were delicious and cooked exactly how we would have liked. Thank you so much! We can’t wait to come back

Went on a busy Saturday night and we were sat downstairs, which was freezing we had to keep our coats on. We ordered drink and food after about 10 minutes of being seated, drinks came pretty quickly. We sat for over an hour with one drink after ordering food, no one came to take another drinks order or tell us how long food would be. We gave it another 15 minutes before asking as we had another booking to make which we were definitely going to miss having been sat in the restaurant for almost an hour and a half now! The server seemed confused when we asked how long food would be and asked when we ordered, which we told them over an hour ago. Food then came pretty quickly but we were now in such a rush to leave as to not get a no show fee for the next booking that we couldn't finish or enjoy it. Everything was really tasty from what we ate although very very spicy! All 4 dishes we got were extremely spicy so I would recommend getting a bread or something neutral on the side. The pork steamed momos were excellent! Our experience was really bad to be honest and I wouldn't be back, which is a shame as I think the food is authentic and tasty. The service was terrible, no communication at all and just not very pleasant when asking for what is going on. I appreciate Saturday night service can be crazy as a chef myself, but communication to those seated with bookings is essential if they are waiting for 1 hour plus on food and drinks orders. Two tables around us seemed to have the same experience with waiting for food and the other sat for over half an hour without their first drink order being taken. We paid full price for everything and had to go to the bar to pay as we needed to leave and there was no one in sight to ask for the bill. How long we waited wasn't even acknowledged by the same server.

Food is absolutely top. Lovely intimate place I found the menu a little confusing and had to ask the waiter but they were very friendly in explaining it to me. Maybe just change the wording slightly.

Such a great experience here! The food is so delicious and you can smell how good it is from across the street! The staff were really friendly and helpful, particularly whilst trying to accommodate a member of our party who was both vegan and allergic to garlic! They were incredibly careful about allergens and still managed to provide us with some great options for them. The atmosphere is cosy and overall it was a great experience!

He mirado el exterior de este lugar durante años y había probado la mayoría de los lugares a su alrededor - esta noche finalmente lo hice en y wow, tuvimos una gran comida y nos sentimos como si hubiéramos hecho nuevos amigos. El Little Yeti me recuerda a los locales que me encantaron en Manchester a partir de los 80. No es flash, pero es original. Está dirigida y poblada con el tipo de personas que te levantan el ánimo y tienen una habilidad de la que están orgullosos de compartir. Estaba lleno arriba y a los 10 minutos de sentarse en el anexo del sótano, también estaba lleno. Es amigable. La gente que lo dirige habla contigo y comparte un poco de sí mismos y es animado. Lo más importante es que la comida, Nepalese Street Food, es muy sabrosa. Habíamos cocinado Momo al vapor con salsa picante. Perfecto. Luego tuvimos Pollo Tikka Roti, Daal, Mint Dip y una botella de Rioja. Todo salió bien y las combinaciones fueron puntuales. El Daal estaba picante con un pequeño bocado y estoy lleno y muy feliz.

This place comes highly recommended online, so I visited and tried some King Prawn Momos (very similar to gyoza). Just need to go back and try the others, now!

Stepped into this place with high expectations but wasn't very impressed. Let's go step by step. The server was very friendly and food was served quickly. I have a habit of cleaning the plates with paper towels/tissues and glad even my friends did. The plates were soiled. We asked them to change them. They did. Then ordered the spicy achar momo, which I would rate 3/5 as the coating was too thick and hardly 2 tbsp chutney served with 8 pcs which wasn't sufficient. My friends ordered the veg one. Then the chicken Chowmein which was extremely spicy due to loads of pepper used in it but was tasty so would rate 4/5. Now comes the twist, we ordered for Chatpate which was supposed to be the famous Wai Wai noodle made into salad, instead we were served Puffed Rice which is used to make Bhel. We asked them about it and they said their noodles were unavailable hence the replacement, they even offered to give it on the house but we didn't have that. The point here is, they should have informed us if it was unavailable. We being Asians know what a wai wai is, but for others who don't know, this isn't the right thing to do. They would simply eat it. The staff or owner was not sure who it was asked if we were Nepali and we said no. But for me this is a type of cheating which I wouldn't appreciate. When you serve a cuisine, you represent that place/city/cuisine/country and I feel you should be very transparent with it. Good luck to the team.

Entró en este lugar con grandes expectativas, pero no estaba muy impresionado. Vamos paso a paso. El servidor era muy amable y la comida se sirvió rápidamente. Tengo la costumbre de limpiar los platos con toallas / pañuelos de papel y me alegro de que incluso mis amigos lo hicieron. Las placas estaban sucias. Les pedimos que los cambiaran. Lo hicieron. Luego pedí el achar momo picante, que calificaría 3 / 5 ya que la capa era demasiado gruesa y apenas 2 cucharadas de chutney servido con 8 piezas que no era suficiente. Mis amigos ordenaron la verdura. Luego el pollo Chowmein que era extremadamente picante debido a las cargas de pimienta utilizada en él, pero era sabroso por lo que calificaría 4 / 5. Ahora viene el giro, pedimos Chatpate que se suponía que era el famoso fideo Wai Wai hecho en ensalada, en su lugar nos sirvieron arroz inflado que se utiliza para hacer Bhel. Les preguntamos al respecto y dijeron que sus fideos no estaban disponibles por lo tanto el reemplazo, incluso se ofreció a dar en la casa, pero no teníamos eso. El punto aquí es que deberían habernos informado si no estaba disponible. Los asiáticos sabemos lo que es un wai wai, pero para otros que no lo saben, esto no es lo correcto. Simplemente se lo comerían. El personal o propietario no estaba seguro de a quién le preguntaron si éramos nepalíes y dijimos que no, pero para mí este es un tipo de trampa que no apreciaría. Cuando sirves una cocina, representas ese lugar/ciudad/cocina/país y siento que debes ser muy transparente con ella. Buena suerte al equipo.

I decided to give the momos a try. Was a little disappointed as the covering was too thick and the stuffing wasn’t up to my expectations. The achar was good but not spicy enough.

Place is nice but the famous thing is momo which not near to momo . Their stuffings is good but layer of momo very thick . won’t recommend it. They need learn how to make thin layer of momo, Chowmein Is good . Even chicken taste was not so good

Cute place with really nice decor and very friendly, relaxed staff. I don't know how authentic the food is so if you are looking for a place to experience a different cuisine then I think there are better places for that. However, the food was delicious and I don't think it makes any pretence of being authentic/what you would get in Nepal. We ordered prawn momos and roti wraps which were both nice. Great for a casual night!

What a gem of a place! Never had Nepalese food before, but what a taste sensation! Food was great, we ordered the roti wraps and 4 half portions of momos ( challenging amount of food but wasn't for leaving anything as it was so tasty) service was the best, we were recommended what to try with the momos and the staff were refreshing friendly and seemed proud of what they were offering. A great vibe about the place, all tables were taken but it still felt intimate. Couldn't stop us going back here in the future!

Nice little place with tasty food.

Went to Little Yeti for a late meal on Saturday night, and were warmly welcomed by the owner. The food was all very tasty, buffalo momo, and achar dip was lovely, but the mushroom shashlick and paneer shashlick were favourites. Although it was late, we didn't feel as though we were being pushed out of the door at the end of the evening, and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Many thanks

Lovely little place, friendly staff, nice food, quite quirky and colourful & very enjoyable experience. Took a while for food to come out (as was the case on other tables) but well worth it once it arrived. Great wraps n chips and really liked the little dumplings. Would give a higher mark but 2 types of beers were unavailable, which puzzled me. Were they not prepared for a busy Saturday night service? Overall though very nice evening and enjoyable food.

Amazing Nepalese food. Very nice and fresh looking momos with tasty variety of sauces. Service is AMAZING the waiteress literally explained every single dish in details and recommended us wonderful plates. Butter chicken was really good as well and they had a nice starter with fried mashed potato 😍 Chocolate momo desert is a must have. Crispy with hot nutella inside and vanilla ice cream scoop on the side 🤤

Food is well spiced and it always tastes great. Be aware most items are fairly spicy so keep that in mind when ordering.

Our food was pretty nice and the staff were welcoming, but we were overcharged by 50% and in the rush of splitting the bill I didn’t realise. So it was a very expensive wrap and cola!

You choose a momo (dumpling) filling, you get it fried or steamed, you choose a dipping sauce. Loads of other things going on but we're there for the momos. They offer wraps which Indians would call kati rolls, superb. The noodles aren't typical Indo-|Chinese, but still lovely Just go..

Around 20 of us came to Little Yeti for a birthday meal on a Saturday. The service was amazing, Niti and the team are beyond lovely and looked after us incredibly well. The food is tasty and just couldn’t get enough of the momos, the whole group left satisfied and with craving to get back!! Thank you for looking after us, 100% recommend this restaurant - the passion for what they do comes through wonderfully.

We had the momos cooked in garlic with spicy achar sauce and they were amazing. The service was super friendly and the pop punk music made for a really cool atmosphere!

This meal and cafe /bistro was so good I could cry ! We advised them ahead of time that I am coeliac and it was no bother to them, they were so kind and as soon as we arrived they acknowledged it again. Almost all the menu could be made gluten free , even the mo mos We had the chicken and veg mo mos with 4 different sauces, lamb chops, Dall, salad and the masala fries. They were all absolutely delicious and the staff were friendly , kind, helpful and the atmosphere was wonderful. I felt so glad that my allergy was considered and not made a big deal of but that I could enjoy the food. My boyfriend who is vehemently not gluten free shared my GF mo mos and genuinely could not tell the difference. Would recommend to all !

If you’re Nepalese and want to go for authentic Nepali cuisine then it’s not for you guys! I was completely disappointed by the food as it were told traditional Nepalese food, doesn’t taste 1% of traditional nepali food. Good for English people, who doesn’t know what actually is Nepalese food.

First time coming here and it was the best food we have had in a long time! Really good unique comfort food. Loads of vegan and veggie options. Loved the music too. We were the only people in the restaurant as it was a rainy day but staff were still really nice and attentive. Cant wait to come again🥰

Great little Nepalese cafe with fabulous momos.

Decided to try this place after reading the good reviews. It’s a very simple place quite small inside and a few tables outside. I ordered the prawn momos and the butter chicken roti wrap with fries (which I was recommended) The momos were really tasty full of flavour with a nice spicy dip. The butter chicken wrap was basically butter chicken curry in a wrap and didn’t really do it for me to be honest. I think it would be much better with a bit of grated carrot and onion or something on the side or in the wrap to give it a crunch or something. The butter curry tasted like a less sweet version of somewhere in between a korma and a Pasanda which I’m sure a lot of people would like. Fries were lovely and crisp I would come back and would like to try another main course

We love this place! Service is always great, staff are attentive, friendly and efficient. The food is a treat! My children also love the food and we always have a lovely time! Defo reccomend!

Delicious, would 1000% return and remember to take photos next time 🫣 it did get really smokey at one point with spicy cooking though. And though friendly, I didn't feel like the staff were very attentive. Particularly enjoyed the mango coconut naan.

Really great food. Girlfriend and I took the chicken momos and a tikka masala wrap for sharing. Momos look kind of small but they're very filling and really tasting. Maybe a slightly strong cumin note but it's a matter of preference and I enjoyed them. The wraps are rich and smooth although on a spicier side so I really enjoyed them. Surprisingly cheap, so you can easily feed 2 people for less than 30£ and the staff is just lovely

Hello, Being a part of North Eastern India. I am familiar with Nepalese food and expected little bit of flavour similar to I am used to but it was horrible. It appear to me that Momo and Chowmein was made of bad curry paste. Never tasted in my life. The Dough of momo was thick and soggy. The filling of the Momo was horrible both chicken and pork. The chowmein was noodles thrown into bad dry chicken tikka masala. Forget about the taste. Never again. You have put me off from Nepalese food.

Do yourself a favour. Eat in or take out. it's delicious!

An informal cafe style restaurant serving superb, very different Napalese food. This quirky place is a favourite of mine. We recently visited for my birthday and were not disappointed. The steamed pork mo mo’s were delicious, the spicy special potatoes incredible and the wraps as good as ever. Our friends said the fries that came their wrap, were the best they’d ever had! There’s a good selection of drinks on offer, the house red wine was excellent and I’d recommend booking, as it’s a very popular place.

We dined on a surprisingly busy Tuesday, and they opened up the downstairs area just for us! The food was delicious and I was shocked when our waitress said she hadn't been working in hospitality long, as she seemed so comfortable and friendly. Great job!

First time at this restaurant ..absolutely fabulous food..so tasty and nice service and atmosphere, not expensive ..will certainly visit again when in Chorlton..deserves 5 star rating

We’ve eaten here before last year and also got takeaways. It has been nice. But got a takeaway today and the CHICKEN WINGS WERE RAW, there were literally no more than 5 chips, the lamb nestled in less than a 1/3 of the tin it was so small and the wrap contained only two prawns. It wa utterly terrible.

Favourite place in Cholrton. Paneer was delicious, chips are to die for 😋 Very friendly staf. Been many time, will be back again.

Took an hour and a half to arrive. My partner enjoyed theirs. Mine was not so good. Lamb ribs were all fat and bone, no meat. Probably won’t be trying again.

The momos and masala fries were so tasty, great for lunch. The staff are super friendly too, I can't really handle my spice but he adjusted the spice level of the fries for me. I will go back for sure.

Tried the Momos and Masala Chips and both were delicious! Service was quick and staff were lovely, couldn’t fault a single thing. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more off the menu!

This is the second time I’ve been when in Manchester.
The little Yeti never disappoint with their momos, masala chips & sizzling meat choices.

I’m just bummed I wasn’t well enough to try the chocolate momos :(. They’re not conventional with their take on Nepali cuisine & I love that. It’s got Nepalese staples like Momo, Sekuwa etc but it also has western influences e.g. masala chips, the wraps. Such a good balance, the food is tasty & the service is *chef’s kiss*.

I ordered food from there the owner is very rude and meet me with what do you want straight not what would you like to order or anything else. I wanted a chowmein veg no vegetables there doesn’t taste anything the worst I have ever had
