Lovely restaurant with great staff. The food is incredible and well worth a visit. We highly recommend.

I’m a regular here and probably the best vegetarian food you can find in Northwest. I’ve also had them cater food for a couple of events I organised and they’ve been fantastic with most of the guests asking where was the food from. Highly recommend!

Already filling up at 6pm on a Saturday but could find a table for 2 without a reservation. Been wanting to come for several years and glad I finally made it! Free parking behind Co-op. Mixed veg pakora were light and crispy, Dosa impressively large.

Excellen good quality Thalis although not quite as authentically Gujarati as I anticipated, slightly anglicised.

What a place. What a find. What a recommendation by my daughter. The Indian restaurant by which all others should be judged. I am going to find it really hard to go back to my (admittedly very good) local Indian restaurant having eaten at The Sanskruti, and if I do I will find it very hard not to compare and criticise. I have nothing but praise for the waitresses, the manager and the cooks who provided great service and even greater food. All three of us that ate were nicely full and savouring the dishes. I couldn't even begin to say how good the food was, so the only way is to try it yourself. Its value for money - in fact, way beyond that value. Thank you all at The Sanskruti. I came to Sanskruti this evening after searching for hidden gems in Manchester and seeing this restaurant with Rajasthani dishes that have a special place in my heart. The restaurant exterior is modern, authentic and uncomplicated, and the service throughout was warm and natural. I ordered garlic naan, chana dal, chilli paneer and a pint of cobra. The portion sizes were decent and my eyes turned out to be bigger than my belly so I ended up taking most of it home, but I've eaten well this evening and look forward to another portion for lunch tomorrow. 5 stars and I will recommend and return ✨️

Great food atmosphere and service - including welcome to our party with two wheelchair users. The team spotted us before the first of us arrived at the front door and got the ramp out very quickly to get our party inside with ease and moved furniture to get us sat down with great ease. Thank you.

First time here and blown away by the quality of the food. The cashew nut curry was a particular revelation - stunning. Our only issue with the food was that there was too much - which gave us a lovely lunch lunch the next day. We will definitely be back.

I have ordered my dinner today and selected delivery time 7.30pm but didn't turn up so I tracked order and was showing 25 more mins and I called to restaurant and guy said food is ready but driver is not here and delivery will be late. Bare in mind that on site 'just eat' was suggested and I selected that. Finally when food came, i've asked driver and he said he waited 15 mins because food wasn't ready. Food was average. I have paid £4.49 for delivery for just 15 mins away place and £2.99 for service charged for rubbish service. Very disappointed and never order again.

Love this restaurant. My favourite curry house. Only place I can get a gf naan, and I love the descriptions of the homemade lemonade drink "free from chemicals". Definitely deserves the awards for its innovation and authenticity.

Went on thursday evening.menu given straight away . Took a long time for someone to come and take the order. All food came in drips and drabs. Masala dosa were nice . Ordered seek kebab which was nice last time. Very dry and crumbly this time probly wouldn't order again.

My daughter loves this place so she booked a table for the family to celebrate her birthday. Order was taken quickly and drinks served fast, then we waited one hour and twenty minutes for food to be served. We didn't complain just waited. Until one of the staff clocked we had no food and came over to say the food will be served soon. I think our order had not gone into the kitchen. Finally food came and we could not fault it. The only problem was there was no apology for the time it had taken or an explanation. Staff seemed on edge because there was no smiles.

THIS IS THE THIRD TIME I ORDERED GARLIC NAAN AND ridiculous cheesey naan arrived. Only fuming because I love Sanskruti's garlic naan SO much. Please read the frickin tickets!!!!!!!! This is a joke

Delicious, inventive, beautifully spiced and seasoned.

I ordered Veg Jaipuri and Paneer lababdar through Uber eats. Veg jaipuri had a massive piece of cauliflower with a stem, taste was average. Paneer lababdar very few pieces of paneer just filled with onion and tomatoes and pretty sweet to taste. Only positives portion size was good.

Super fast delivery, however my food was completely cold! Called the restaurant to see what they could do and they couldnt do anything. Who orders takeaway to have to microwave it when it turns up! Will not order from here again

Saturday is quite noisy with large groups - but that's great for business. But perhaps areas could be kept for quieter diners - like the area behind the newer bar section. Aubergine dish was superb, as was the garlic naan. The vegan version of the samosa chat could be enhanced by the use of a little vegan soya yoghurt. Poppadoms were spot on.

Had a nice team dinner for 10 and the service was great! Food came out on time and tasted delicious, generous portions

Sanskruti provided us with an excellent experience - an early evening booking with friends. Each of the menu choices were delicious and well presented. Reducing the slight delay between starters and main dishes would have resulted in 5 stars for service. Would definitely come again to enjoy more of what the menu offers.

This is the best Indian restaurant in South Manchester in my opinion. My only regret is that it isn't a bit closer to my home in Sale. It's my 5th visit & will definitely return.

Love it here. Have been coming on and off for 10 years. Never fails to wow. Can recommend the kebabs and the smoked aubergine curry. But can't go wrong with anything.

Forgot to take a pic till we'd stuffed ourselves. Outstanding Indian veg food, plenty of vegan options, and clearly marked gluten free. They even have a gf roti. We shared: tandoori mushrooms, sheesh-kebabs, tofu makanwalla, kofta something-or-other, tarka dal, and my friend had peshwari nan while I had the gf one. It was all excellent. We shared a bottle of fizzy water and I had a vegan mango lassi - first time I've ever seen it on a menu. It cost 75 quid, which seems like an eye-watering amount to spend on a meal without alcohol, though the food is of superior quality. It's a couple of years since I last went so I can't remember if the menu has changed, though it's reasonably limited, offering mostly staples with an imaginative twist, and we wanted to order everything. Portions are small, I'd say mains here are the size of side-dishes at most Indians, though normal for more upmarket places. Go with an empty belly and full wallet, and leave happy. Book online for 10% student and Blue Light discount during the week, and book generally because they do get busy.

Sanskruti restaurant is a wonderful place. The food is delicious, the service exceptional and the atmosphere is convivial. Added bonus for me is there are bike racks right outside. I'm already planning a return visit 😁

Food, service, and atmosphere were great! I personally would have preferred stronger flavors in the chutneys, but that's subjective so doesn't merit knocking a star off. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only (hopefully constructive) criticism is about the table reservation software—my reservation was cancelled, seemingly automatically, three times. The final cancellation notification arrived while my friend I were dining! But anyway, watch out for that and be ready to rebook if it happens. It wasn't very busy (early slot on a Wednesday night) so it didn't cause any problems for us.

We had a takaway and food was not great. Ordered masala dosa and it was ok but very bland. The daal makhani was so salty that was impossible to eat. It’s a shame because I remembered food was nice. Maybe they just had a bad day

Our second visit to Sanskriti, they do not disappoint with their service, taste of food and authenticity. Being a vegetarian, this place gives plenty of options to choose from. Recommended.

Food was slightly disappointing. Starters were fine but the main course dishes were below par. Only about 4-5 small paneer pieces in the kadhai paneer!

Deliver time changed and was much later than the time on the original booking. But to be fair, it was New Year's Eve and the weather was awful! The food was great as always! Love the restaurant and highly recommend it!

We’ve been going to Sanskruti since it first opened in Manchester and although they have grown and expanded the quality of the customer and service has been as wonderful as always. It’s by far out favourite Indian restaurant.

Possibly the best veggie indian restaurant i’ve been to in Manchester! Amazing choice of dishes and the biggest dosa i’ve ever seen!

I order takeaway from here often and the food never disappoints! I’ve dined in a few times it has a great atmosphere and is decorated beautifully, my most recent visit for my birthday one server was a bit rude and let them down, but everyone else I’ve been served by has been wonderful.

We have been here many times now and brought family members too. One of our family members from another city actually requested to go here as they love it too! Food is always spot on, tasty and fresh. Staff are friendly and welcoming as well. Will definitely visit again.

Fabulous family Birthday meal. Delicious authentic Indian food which reminded us of our times in India. Birthday cake and candle for the Birthday boy was a really thoughtful touch. We most definitely recommend this fantastic place!

Fantastic dosas, lovely atmosphere

I've really enjoyed the food here and visited a lot over the last few years as well as ordered many takeaways, but on a recent visit the service was lacking. There have been 3 occasions I've visited during an email promotion where you put the code in the notes when making the booking, however when coming to pay the bill it is never applied. It feels a bit like they're trying to catch you out so you just pay the full price. After asking the server for the discount they were much less friendly, just walked away after I tapped my card on the card reader and didn't ask how the food had been. I feel a little put off visiting again unfortunately.

Had a fantastic time. We went to celebrate Bhai beej and we were not disapppinted. Food was fresh and tasty. We had a selection of starters to share then nan and some differnt curries. The methi paneer was mu favourite. Thank u for a lovely evening. All our food was without onion and garlic as well.

The app said our order would be delivered between 19.20 and 19.40. Delivery was confirmed around 19.40- it was not delivered. I called Sanscruti who advised me to call Just Eat's customer care line- there isn't one! I was directed to contact Just Eat on the app which I did and the reply was I will have a reply in 2 days which is no good when the food was to eat tonight. Very frustrating. The app showed the driver near to our house.

Horrible experience. Rude front of house staff. Made us wait 55 minutes for food and blamed for coming at busy time. The Indian manager was rude and unprofessional. Above all the bad reviews the biggest issue was food quantity, curry was literally 5 spoons. Only opt for home delivery as it would save your time and efforts.

Arrogant staff. Poor service and communication. Long waiting time between dishes. Food was not too bad but quantity too less for the price being charged.
