Forgot to take a pic till we'd stuffed ourselves. Outstanding Indian veg food, plenty of vegan options, and clearly marked gluten free. They even have a gf roti. We shared: tandoori mushrooms, sheesh-kebabs, tofu makanwalla, kofta something-or-other, tarka dal, and my friend had peshwari nan while I had the gf one. It was all excellent. We shared a bottle of fizzy water and I had a vegan mango lassi - first time I've ever seen it on a menu. It cost 75 quid, which seems like an eye-watering amount to spend on a meal without alcohol, though the food is of superior quality. It's a couple of years since I last went so I can't remember if the menu has changed, though it's reasonably limited, offering mostly staples with an imaginative twist, and we wanted to order everything. Portions are small, I'd say mains here are the size of side-dishes at most Indians, though normal for more upmarket places. Go with an empty belly and full wallet, and leave happy. Book online for 10% student and Blue Light discount during the week, and book generally because they do get busy.

Sanskruti restaurant is a wonderful place. The food is delicious, the service exceptional and the atmosphere is convivial. Added bonus for me is there are bike racks right outside. I'm already planning a return visit 😁

Food, service, and atmosphere were great! I personally would have preferred stronger flavors in the chutneys, but that's subjective so doesn't merit knocking a star off. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only (hopefully constructive) criticism is about the table reservation software—my reservation was cancelled, seemingly automatically, three times. The final cancellation notification arrived while my friend I were dining! But anyway, watch out for that and be ready to rebook if it happens. It wasn't very busy (early slot on a Wednesday night) so it didn't cause any problems for us.

We had a takaway and food was not great. Ordered masala dosa and it was ok but very bland. The daal makhani was so salty that was impossible to eat. It’s a shame because I remembered food was nice. Maybe they just had a bad day

Food was slightly disappointing. Starters were fine but the main course dishes were below par. Only about 4-5 small paneer pieces in the kadhai paneer!

Deliver time changed and was much later than the time on the original booking. But to be fair, it was New Year's Eve and the weather was awful! The food was great as always! Love the restaurant and highly recommend it!

We’ve been going to Sanskruti since it first opened in Manchester and although they have grown and expanded the quality of the customer and service has been as wonderful as always. It’s by far out favourite Indian restaurant.

Possibly the best veggie indian restaurant i’ve been to in Manchester! Amazing choice of dishes and the biggest dosa i’ve ever seen!

I order takeaway from here often and the food never disappoints! I’ve dined in a few times it has a great atmosphere and is decorated beautifully, my most recent visit for my birthday one server was a bit rude and let them down, but everyone else I’ve been served by has been wonderful.

We have been here many times now and brought family members too. One of our family members from another city actually requested to go here as they love it too! Food is always spot on, tasty and fresh. Staff are friendly and welcoming as well. Will definitely visit again.

Fabulous family Birthday meal. Delicious authentic Indian food which reminded us of our times in India. Birthday cake and candle for the Birthday boy was a really thoughtful touch. We most definitely recommend this fantastic place!

Fantastic dosas, lovely atmosphere

I've really enjoyed the food here and visited a lot over the last few years as well as ordered many takeaways, but on a recent visit the service was lacking. There have been 3 occasions I've visited during an email promotion where you put the code in the notes when making the booking, however when coming to pay the bill it is never applied. It feels a bit like they're trying to catch you out so you just pay the full price. After asking the server for the discount they were much less friendly, just walked away after I tapped my card on the card reader and didn't ask how the food had been. I feel a little put off visiting again unfortunately.

Food was fantastic. People are lovely. 2nd time there, we'll be back.

Best Vegetarian around. 1st choice always.

Had a fantastic time. We went to celebrate Bhai beej and we were not disapppinted. Food was fresh and tasty. We had a selection of starters to share then nan and some differnt curries. The methi paneer was mu favourite. Thank u for a lovely evening. All our food was without onion and garlic as well.

Really delicious food and fantastic selection of dishes!

The app said our order would be delivered between 19.20 and 19.40. Delivery was confirmed around 19.40- it was not delivered. I called Sanscruti who advised me to call Just Eat's customer care line- there isn't one! I was directed to contact Just Eat on the app which I did and the reply was I will have a reply in 2 days which is no good when the food was to eat tonight. Very frustrating. The app showed the driver near to our house.

Arrogant staff. Poor service and communication. Long waiting time between dishes. Food was not too bad but quantity too less for the price being charged.

Horrible experience. Rude front of house staff. Made us wait 55 minutes for food and blamed for coming at busy time. The Indian manager was rude and unprofessional. Above all the bad reviews the biggest issue was food quantity, curry was literally 5 spoons. Only opt for home delivery as it would save your time and efforts.

We were expecting the kadhai paneer curry to have a good flavor, but it was lacking in both flavor and salt. This was very disappointing. I provided this feedback to the waitress, but she disagreed and insisted that I should have asked for more salt and spices before ordering. I believe that asking about the spice level should be a standard practice when taking orders, and salt level is a basic expectation. The waitress was rude and did not apologize for the experience. We had enjoyed paneer dishes on previous visits, which is why we returned to try more items.The mashroom manchurian and soya chap was good.

Great restaurant! The curries were good quality, although the rice could be better, it was quite dry. The family garlic naan was really good. It was a nice atmosphere, the staff were really nice except we went on a saturday evening and the service was quite slow.

Sanskruti Restaurant is our family restaurant and it never disappointed with good vegetarian food. Highly recommended if you are looking for vegetarian meal.

Superb vegetarian Indian restaurant serving a wide range of food styles from Asia. The depth of flavours was amazing and I didn't miss the meat at all. All of the courses and dishes we tried were very high quality. This was my first visit but I am already planning a return. The dosa looked amazing and I will be back to try one.

Food was okay, but the service was terrible. It took 40 minutes just to get our meal, and the staff was inattentive. Wouldn't recommend unless they improve their service.

This place is great! A real gem. I've not been for years and a friend reminded me of it, so we went for lunch. It's up there with the best places you could go for a curry in Manchester!

Possibly the best Indian food I have ever eaten. An absolute series of wonderful surprises . The standard is off the scale, every dish superbly cooked. Service is outstanding, highly professional but so very friendly. I will be returning very soon. Spectacular.

Delicious vegetarian food, desserts were amazing!!!! This place is bit pricey, but the quality is very good. They offer prior reservations and seats are available even for walk-in. Free Parking facility available behind the restaurant (next to coop road). Very good place to hangout with friends and family, food tasted amazing here. Starters are must try, they newly introduced thali and South Indian cuisine. Veg biriyani available only on Friday, Saturday and Sundays.

Really great menu, lots of variety. The giant naans are amazing, great texture, and they actually put on a good amount of garlic! The food didn't appear quickly (but it wasn't really slow either), and gorgeous smells were coming from the kitchen which I feel is a good sign the food was being cooked from scratch. It tasted very fresh too, but I would have liked more paneer in the Paneer Kadhai. It was still delicious though, and the spice level was great. The mango lassi was so dreamy and the staff were very pleasant. We were early too and they accommodated us. As we dined at 5pm there weren't many people in the restaurant but I can see it having a great atmosphere later in the day. Only 7mins on the train from Piccadilly, I will definitely be coming back to this gem next time I'm in Manchester!

¡Ha estado comiendo en este increíble lugar desde que abrió en 2014 y nunca tuvo una mala comida... el mejor restaurante vegano y vegetariano de Manchester, si no toda la región del Gran Manchester, manos abajo! La comida como siempre fue perfecta este mes, incluso si la tarta de queso vegana todavía estaba congelada cuando llegó, a pesar de la espera de 20 minutos LOL. Sin embargo, como otros han notado en las últimas revisiones (junio - julio de 2024 ) el personal de camareros parecía escaso en el terreno, ¿quizá debido a las vacaciones de verano? Mi amigo notó que uno de los empleados del bar estaba haciendo poppadoms y chutneys en la parte trasera del restaurante, pero no llevaba guantes de catering (había estado usando su teléfono, sirviendo en el bar, manipulando comida, luego de regreso al bar, etc). Nada de esto me impediría regresar, solo que esta visita en general no fue tan buena como de costumbre. La primera vez que los clientes pueden ser despedidos, no importa lo buena que sea la comida si falta servicio, o detectan posibles problemas de higiene.

Been going there since few years, Food is better than average but prices have gone unreasonably expensive for the Manchester area. I would be skipping it going forward. 9.5 pound for a dosa and 12.5 pound for a single curry - these are more expensive than London central prices. One customer less.

Favourite restaurant in Manchester. The food is always delicious, service perfect and wonderful atmosphere. Also, very reasonably priced.

Very rude and arrogant staff behavior, was not costumer oriented and she messed up the drink. The food was okay, not so good and tasty as other Indian restaurant in Manchester. Felt the dosa was burnt. I got a table was very congested, the next table chairs were touching.
