Very delicious food, friendly staff and service.

Horrible experience. Rude front of house staff. Made us wait 55 minutes for food and blamed for coming at busy time. The Indian manager was rude and unprofessional. Above all the bad reviews the biggest issue was food quantity, curry was literally 5 spoons. Only opt for home delivery as it would save your time and efforts.

Arrogant staff. Poor service and communication. Long waiting time between dishes. Food was not too bad but quantity too less for the price being charged.

Great restaurant! The curries were good quality, although the rice could be better, it was quite dry. The family garlic naan was really good. It was a nice atmosphere, the staff were really nice except we went on a saturday evening and the service was quite slow.

We were expecting the kadhai paneer curry to have a good flavor, but it was lacking in both flavor and salt. This was very disappointing. I provided this feedback to the waitress, but she disagreed and insisted that I should have asked for more salt and spices before ordering. I believe that asking about the spice level should be a standard practice when taking orders, and salt level is a basic expectation. The waitress was rude and did not apologize for the experience. We had enjoyed paneer dishes on previous visits, which is why we returned to try more items.The mashroom manchurian and soya chap was good.

Sanskruti Restaurant is our family restaurant and it never disappointed with good vegetarian food. Highly recommended if you are looking for vegetarian meal.

Absolutely loved my visit here! Was blown away by the food! I'm not normally into vegetarian food! But this place blew my mind! It was an incredible culinary experience....definitely recommend it

Superb vegetarian Indian restaurant serving a wide range of food styles from Asia. The depth of flavours was amazing and I didn't miss the meat at all. All of the courses and dishes we tried were very high quality. This was my first visit but I am already planning a return. The dosa looked amazing and I will be back to try one.

Wow - what an amazing find! The food was utterly delicious - so incredibly full of flavour. Such a wide choice as well I didn’t know where to start with choosing. My son is not vegan but there was such a fantastic range of food he did not miss the meat - he loved his dish and was very full!

Worth a visit, just for the masala dosa never mind the rest of the menu. Epic for a starter

Don't order pani puri and bhel puri it's not tasty.

Best and the best vegetarian vegan indian restaurant in Manchester, their street food is the best, even better than what I had in india. And you don't have to think that there will be any cross contamination as all food is vegetarian

Absolutely loved the food and service! They had so many Veg options to choose from! And every dish we ordered was delicious! Loved it so much, visited both Liverpool and Manchester branches! Staff was kind enough to turn the AC off to make the atmosphere moderate!

Food was okay, but the service was terrible. It took 40 minutes just to get our meal, and the staff was inattentive. Wouldn't recommend unless they improve their service.

Always well presented, fresh, delicious food, lovely surroundings and friendly, efficient service. Loved the poppodums, dips, ragda patis, peshwari nan and malai kofta.

Overall lovely but overpriced dishes and charged for popadoms and chutneys is unheard of. £7 device charge for two people also surprised at.

This place is great! A real gem. I've not been for years and a friend reminded me of it, so we went for lunch. It's up there with the best places you could go for a curry in Manchester!

Never going to not give you five stars but a little disappointed by the makhanwalla this time, needed a little more cooking down or something to balance the tomato! Everything else exemplary.

Possibly the best Indian food I have ever eaten. An absolute series of wonderful surprises . The standard is off the scale, every dish superbly cooked. Service is outstanding, highly professional but so very friendly. I will be returning very soon. Spectacular.

Delicious vegetarian food, desserts were amazing!!!! This place is bit pricey, but the quality is very good. They offer prior reservations and seats are available even for walk-in. Free Parking facility available behind the restaurant (next to coop road). Very good place to hangout with friends and family, food tasted amazing here. Starters are must try, they newly introduced thali and South Indian cuisine. Veg biriyani available only on Friday, Saturday and Sundays.

Really great menu, lots of variety. The giant naans are amazing, great texture, and they actually put on a good amount of garlic! The food didn't appear quickly (but it wasn't really slow either), and gorgeous smells were coming from the kitchen which I feel is a good sign the food was being cooked from scratch. It tasted very fresh too, but I would have liked more paneer in the Paneer Kadhai. It was still delicious though, and the spice level was great. The mango lassi was so dreamy and the staff were very pleasant. We were early too and they accommodated us. As we dined at 5pm there weren't many people in the restaurant but I can see it having a great atmosphere later in the day. Only 7mins on the train from Piccadilly, I will definitely be coming back to this gem next time I'm in Manchester!

Food quality was not good no taste, preparation was not up to the mark overall not at all satisfied. They should improve immediately.

Been eating at this amazing venue since it opened in 2014 and never had a bad meal...the best vegan and veggie Indian restaurant in Manchester, if not the whole Greater Manchester region, hands down! Food as ever was perfect this month, even if the vegan cheesecake was still frozen when it arrived, despite the 20min wait LOL. However, as others have noticed in recent reviews (June-July 2024) the wait staff seemed thin on the ground, perhaps due to the Summer holidays? My friend noticed one of the bar staff making up poppadoms and chutneys up at the back of the restaurant, but he was not wearing catering gloves (had been using his phone, serving at the bar, handling food, then back to the bar etc). None of this would stop me returning, just that this visit overall wasn't as good as usual. Some first time customers might be put off, no matter how good the food is if service is lacking, or they spot possible hygiene concerns.

What is the reason I can’t order anything from you on just eat? Is delivery area reduced

Been going there since few years, Food is better than average but prices have gone unreasonably expensive for the Manchester area. I would be skipping it going forward. 9.5 pound for a dosa and 12.5 pound for a single curry - these are more expensive than London central prices. One customer less.

Really great food but I would expect much more from the staff. They were unwelcoming, abrupt, and kept interaction to a minimum. And to add insult to injury they added a 10% service charge to the bill. Not happy.

Very rude and arrogant staff behavior, was not costumer oriented and she messed up the drink. The food was okay, not so good and tasty as other Indian restaurant in Manchester. Felt the dosa was burnt. I got a table was very congested, the next table chairs were touching.

A return visit to this entirely vegetarian/vegan Indian restaurant a few minutes drive from home. Sev puri to start for one of us. Crisp balls filled with vegetables and chutney – just about a mouthful each, if you open wide. That was followed by an old favourite from the Punjabi section of the menu, in the form of kaju masala – a cashew nut curry. It’s quite creamy and, unlike many of the dishes here, there’s a lot of sauce, just waiting to be mopped up by a really nicely made paratha. That was my partner well and truly sorted. For me, there was a samosa chaat –crispness from the broken up samosa, potato and chickpeas, a whack from chilli softened by yoghurt and a sharp twang from a tamarind chutney. Then I had a dosa. The pancake was served folded, rather than the more usual cylinder. It wasn’t an improvement , as it didn’t retain its crispness. But it did taste really good, with a well spiced potato filling . There were the usual dosa accompaniments in the form of a coconut chutney and sambhar. Service is efficient and food comes quickly. Ideal if you’re in a bit of a rush but, unfortunately, not a place to linger over dinner with your loved one.

we had our office meeting dinner there and everythign was deliecious came on time they also accomodates our requests and customer service was excellent. Highly recommend .

One of the best Indian food I ever tasted outside London!! Paneer Labaabdaar was very tasty, Garlic naan was super fresh and masala chips were a bit soggy as I ordered on uber but the taste was very nice. Would definitely recommend it as it's authentic Indian taste. Thank you very much to the staff and chef who prepared my order:)) would definitely come again when I am near Manchester:))

Sanskruti is one of our "go to" places if we want to eat out or have a celebration dinner. The food is always on point. It always tastes like home. I highly recommend it!

Food looks, smells and taste perfect. The portion is good size too. The staff is very professional and help you choose right combination if you are not sure what to order. The restaurant has nice Indian interior with bollywood music played in background to complete the experience.

Best vegetarian curry we've had. Great selection of dishes. We had the Thali which was an excellent mixture. The young ladies serving were very friendly. Highly recommend.

Overall, a good Indian vegetarian restaurant with the visit but certainly not the best I’ve been to. The thandaai drink is excellent, but the shev puri and vada pav was ok at best. Masala dosa wasn’t crispy as it should be, per my experience of real Indian food. The best thing was the samosa chaat, really superb, one of my favourite street foods and it didn’t disappoint!

staff was nice but food tast was not good we ordered baby corn Manchurian and after kajukari Punjabi subji both tast was same to same no change ,just ingredients difference only,but curry was same, no difference ,my money was wast and they took service charge 10% extra ,I didn't understand what was that in final Bill.. if someone reads so please explain this thing and I suggest to people be careful before you ordered ...

Ordered from Sanskruti on a whim and the food is absolutely brilliant. I was with a foodie who makes a mean curry themselves and they thought it was great too. The delivery time was quite long - it did take over an hour to arrive - but it was definitely worth the wait. Will 100% be ordering from them again.

They didn't send the correct items. The nasal chips and family garlic naan were missing, and I received a lentil dish instead of the paneer that I ordered.

First time trying this local restaurant. Food wasn’t as nice as other places, some items were bland, tasteless and missing the usual vital ingredients. Wont be returning. The idea of having a vegetarian restaurant is very good - but this place was disappointing.

Love Sanskruti - have been coming here for years. My only complaint is that any time there is a promotion on - they never take it off the bill and you have to ask every single time. Makes you feel like they are just trying to catch you out so you pay full price. Feels very cheeky. Please sort it out!!!

Big fan of Sanskruti. Glad to see them in Manchester... Pretty much everything they make is good. We've only been to this one once, but we ordered regularly from the Liverpool branch during lockdown.

Really nice vegetarian food. Naans(specially family naan) were fantastic. Update: In my last visit, the main dishes were not so good especially dal tadka (which was without tadka). Reducing 2 Stars on food. Maybe there should be a standard recipe to maintain the same taste.

Must go place for vegetarians in Manchester. Food is very delicious. Price is little high compared to other restaurants but quality and taste is great and not comparable with others.

2nd visit in as many years. The first time we came, the food although spicy, we really enjoyed it very much. Hence another visit was due. Due to my young girls, we tend to order milder food. Some foods that we ordered mild, were still spicy. Fillings in the masala dosa weren’t as quite as filling… I guess shrinkflation!! Although the prices were quite hiked up from last years visit. The paneer makhanwala tasted as it was made from a tin of Heinz’s tomato soup, with a few mild spices added in…seriously 😳 Anyways, we’ll be looking to move on from here sorry to say. Total spend was around £110.00 disappointing!!
