The space is beautiful and staff were really nice. It’s a shame the waiting time was really long, there was only 5 of us. The dishes came nicely presented, quite pricy for how much you get, the flavour was okay but not wow especially for the price and atmosphere of restaurant.

Lovely decor, nice food, the service was great! Our server David was very friendly and attentive and was very helpful in guiding us through the menu.

I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch, the place was empty but I really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. I indulged myself with 2 spicy margarita and had the black tiger prawn rice, which was tasty and filling. Even though I was full, i had the pork belly, which was cut into eight portions. Everytohmg was great from the service to the food.

This place is phenomenal!! Love the service and food. Quite affordable too if wanting quality.

The overall experience for my 30th birthday couldn’t have went better from the event down to the food and the service was elite organised a private menu to facilitate for my drinks brand and stayed open until on a extended licence for me so the over all experience was great well worth it. It was really quiet the afternoon we went but still a very pleasant dining experience. David our server certainly went the extra mile and nothing was too much trouble. The menu was very extensive and David explained all the different dishes and recommended certain things after asking our preffered types of food. Definite recommendation from us.

Amazing, first time and definitely not the last

Food was okay but not worth the price and the atmosphere was below par. First time eating here and sadly it will also be the last. After reading reviews we were pretty optimistic about the place. Menu looked nice, cocktails sounded interesting and the decor from the pictures all looked great. Upon arrival we noticed it looked pretty empty but we had an early booking (4.30) so put it down to this. We then got shown to our table which is the point our experience took a turn for the worse. There appeared to be a total of 3-4 couples all sat at a small square table. The tables were in a line all in very close proximity to eachother and with a very quiet atmosphere it felt like you could hear every word of eachothers conversation. Now I understand that this is not the only place in Manchester to have a layout like this but when you are paying the prices they are charging we were expecting at the very least to have some privacy whilst dining. After sitting down for about 5 minutes we then noticed several electric heaters dotted around the place. Clearly the place has an issue with cold temperatures and we seemed to have been given a table that was badly effected by this. Maybe this is the reason all the customers were bunched so closely together so we could all radiate body heat amongst us? It was that cold that coats are recommended. Just not the experience you expect when paying over £100 for 2 people to eat out at all. We were then greeted by the waitress who explained the menu. We were told that the way it works here is that the dishes just come out when they are ready and it was said in such a way to make it seem like this was some kind of perk or selling point. This to me just seems a lazy approach as it suggests they are putting zero effort into planning out the timing of the cooking. My preference is to know the order of my food and for the food to arrive at the same time for both of us to eat together. There was around 20 to 30 minute wait before the first dish arrived. In terms of the food, the chicken rice rolls were actually really good. The dragons breath pork noodles were also tasty. However, the rest of the food we had ordered was nothing to write home about sadly. All in all, when comparing Namii Kitchen to other places in the area at a similar cost (Tattu or Ivy Asia for example) this place just is not in the same league.

I went today to this amazing place. Where I found the great food, pretty much tastes and the atmosphere so warm. Although, the greatest thing was the staff (David), so cordial and friendly, thanks David. I’ll come back for sure;)

Had a great time with my friends on the last day of 2024 at Namii. The service was amazing. Our server David is friendly and observant. The food portion was huge. We were so full but then we had some desserts and tea as well. The mango sticky rice and yuzu cheesecake were good to share. The tea pots are so pretty; David said the owner bought the pots from Hong Kong. The tea was fragrant and put a soothing ending to our meal.

The ambience is really beautiful, but that's where the positive impressions end. We booked the New Year's Eve special for £56 per person, the food was really mediocre. The main course was a steak and absolutely not edible, apart from the fact that it didn't arrive at the same time and I had to watch my friend eat it for fifteen minutes, it was full of tendons and absolutely not edible. Our drinks didn't arrive all evening either. I was told that they would take the steak off the bill, but they still barely deducted anything considering how much the steak normally costs, and they simply charged a service fee of 12%, which I find questionable, because it's not common anywhere here and wasn't specified anywhere beforehand, and for a service where I didn't even get drinks for 2 hours and the food was completely postponed? Very questionable and anything but justified.

Service and ambience were wonderful :) the food tasted really great but imho just too expensive especially when rice has to be ordered separately and the main dish just isnt big enough on its own. Therefore one star less.

This restaurant has honestly been the best restaurant I've ever been to visit. The food was outstanding and the staff where very kind and pleasant to talk with. The vibe of the restaurant is also very pretty. Very Instagramable! Highly recommend this place

Our servers were Maye and Sam and they were honestly lovely, i left a comment asking for a little birthday surprise and they remembered and brought out a little happy birthday dessert, they were so lovely and helped us through the menu as we were there for the first time, they gave great suggestions, the food was amazing, it was something different for us but we ended up enjoying it and having a great experience

choose wisely my friends having looked at the reviews, we were looking forward to this. Seemed like this was a restaurant that could cook weird sounding dishes that would be delicious This is not the case Deep fried battered Okra? Great. With deep fried battered padron peppers? Err, ok? With a sweet and sour sauce? Well this sounds too weird to be good, I'm in. Then it arrives and has some raw cherry tomatoes and POMEGRANATE seeds. These things do not belong on the same dish together and definitely not in your mouth at the same time. Bizarre and not in a good way. Plus some of the padron peppers were definitely just big chunks of normal green peppers. The other dishes were average at best, but there were other people there who seemed to be happy, so can only imagine we just chose poorly. Cocktails were good and the staff friendly. 3 stars (-3 for the pomegranate, +1 for the portable heaters and the pink decor)

We dined here for our work Christmas party! The food was amazing and there was lots of it, probably too much. I took some home! Very nice cocktails, Maye was looking after us and she looked after us well. only issue was they stuck a £80 service charge on the bill, I had also tipped £25 and didn’t realise there was a service charge, maybe let your customers know about this as it’s a very dishonest approach. While Maye was a great waitress the only negative I have is that we were not advised about the service charge!

This place honestly did not disappoint! The food was absolutely amazing and it was topped off by great service from Dev. This was a meal for my 1st anniversary with my girlfriend and we are thankful it was made so special. We will definitely be coming back again in the very near future!

Looks to be a good restaurant, but service was very bad. We were there 15 min with no service, drinks, etc before leaving. Case of customers being lucky to eat at a trendy restaurant instead of it being the other way around.

We enjoyed dinner at Namii during the week. It was relatively quiet but that’s to be expected on a weekday and suited us. The food is good, the service is great (thanks David and co!) and the location is very convenient for those in the city centre.

Walked in around 9:50pm gentleman at the door was hesitant to sit us down and told us that’s the kitchen had “closed” and basically tuned us away, he said kitchen closed at 10 I know how hospitality works and that sitting the last table can be frustrating but you never know who is walking through the door. To my luck the owner was in and reminded the young man that it wasn’t 10 and that he should sit us down, he apologised and we were greeted by our server JOSH he absolutely made the experience for us . I’ve recently moved to Manchester and this spot was a random google search but honestly the food and hospitality from the owner and Josh were 10/10 atmosphere was top notch, drinks were spot on. A big shout out to Josh, now that’s what you call a server and who you want to greet your customers when walking through the door. I will 100% be back all thanks to Josh. A star ⭐️

Pleasant atmosphere. Drinks were good. Service nonexistent, probably because they add service charge automatically. They have 8 staff walking around in circles not tending to tables. Food was fair, not worth the price. Summer roll was good. Potato corn fritters over cooked and too crispy. Black pepper beef had about 7 slivers of beef in the dish. Coconut sticky rice had not flavor of coconut. Would try somewhere else if I was you

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Namii, and it was truly a five-star experience from start to finish! On top of the stellar service, the food and ambiance at Namii are exceptional. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. I can’t recommend Namii enough if you’re looking for a spot with amazing food and even better service, this is the place to be!

Most disappointing meal I have had in Manchester. Overpriced for the serving, and were even charged for still water! Service fee on the bill too when it took 20 minutes to get a beer in an empty restaurant - would not recommend

Lovely cocktails and food and a great service!

Yummy food. Two of us had 4 small plates to share. Only downside is that the prawn crackers were very fishy. Food comes out as and when it’s ready which can be an issue when you are waiting a while for a dish. We did end up spending quite a lot of money, and the portions weren’t very big.

Superb meal. Our waitress Faith was lovely and had good knowledge of the menu. Atmosphere is nice and relaxed. Food was delicious. Chicken dumplings were incredible as was the squid, pork belly, and Dragon Breath Udon noodles. Would recommend.

We had a very pleasant experience in Namii. From the start our waiter (David) was very helpful and attentive, making sure we understand all the dishes and asking if we need recommendations. About the food itself, the prices are slightly higher than at other places, but it's justified in the quality of the dishes. We had two main (wok) dishes and two sides and a pho. We were surprised by the variety and depth of flavours. We also had a mocktail - floral phenix, which was equally as good. In short, the place is definitely worth trying out!

Food was very nice. I had the jade wings... the sauce and the crispy skin was delicious. I also have prawn crackers and the south China ses upon noodles... was cooked fresh and was delicious. Only thing I would have changed is the prawn to come deshelled. Good service, decent absence...abit cold due to aircon though.

Just want to say this isn’t so much a compliant but a warning!! On Uber there is a “ namii kitchen and cocktails “ We did not get to the correct destination!! Ended up in an estate in the dark unknown to where we were as we are not from the area! I had to ring the restaurant to see if they could push back our reservation as we were now going to be late ! The young man on the phone was so lovely and pushed us back half an hour to get to the right place , he explained that they’ve had this issue before and have reported it to google and I have reported it to Uber , both parties doing as much as they can !! Food was gorgeous but desserts were quite small for the price , but still yummy ! Great service from everyone around us , a brilliant team effort! Thanks to Lucas for pushing back our reservation time x
