Rudy's Pizza Napoletana - Didsbury in Manchester

We came here on a Thursday so we managed to enjoy our evening and we weren't rushed as if it had been at the weekend. The pizza was nice , and the staff was friendly.

We came here last week and it was absolutely gorgeous! The staff are welcoming and friendly. We were served by Dan. My boyfriend couldn’t decide on which pizza to get either one of the specials or one of the normal menu. He went with the pizza of the normal menu. At the end of our meal we were paying and he came over with the special pizza on the house! Dan definitely deserves a promotion. Made our day! Highly recommend!

We visited Rudy’s Didsbury last night for a valentines night out and it was such a lovely experience! The food was so tasty and the atmosphere was nice and cosy. Even though it was busy, everyone was really nice and we’d like to mention Lizzie especially, she was amazing and so friendly and welcoming! Thank you so much for the yummy desserts!! 😍 we can’t wait to return!

Have dined here a few times in the past and always had a very good experience but our last trip was a bit of a let down. The food was good but the server, Niall, seemed to have a bit of an attitude for no reason. He wasn’t particularly welcoming and when asked about whether the garlic bread would come before the pizzas or at the same time his response was that we didn’t even order garlic bread (wanted to know when it’d come out before we order it). He didn’t really check on us to see if we wanted anymore drinks or if we wanted to see the dessert menu - we did. Didn’t bother to tell us about the specials until asked - the bueno cheesecake was very nice. We then ended up being ignored for about 10mins when waiting to pay the bill while he walked around the restaurant, seemingly aimless. I get that we all have off days and working in hospitality on a busy Saturday night is tough but perhaps this is something to consider for the future.

We arrived late and had to sit outside as there were no seats inside but I couldn't fault the service. The food was great

Early leave from work today, treated myself to a garlic bread pizza. Great value for money. Wish I could say I didn't eat the whole lot as it was huge but-. Good start to a birthday month lol

We came here almost every week. Dog friendly. Rudy's do the best pizza west of Napoli.

I went in with my elderly father and they treated him with so much kindness and respect. We both thoroughly enjoyed our pizzas!

Had to wait quite a while for food & cancelled 2nd round of drinks as didnt arrive whilst eating, still not arrived when finished eating....however, the waitress was very apologetic & acknowledged the long wait & also the pizzas were lovely....bonus the waitress came over with 2 boxed pizzas when we was leaving to take home and again apologised....quality

Had a a great meal here was looked after by Daniella who got us a table for 3 as a walk in during a busy friday dinner service (this was greatly appreciated). Also very well looked after during the meal as well by the same member of staff. Quality of food, presentation and level of hospitality was fantastic and impecable considering how busy it was. Bar staff were also amazing whilst waiting for the table can’t say enough good things. FOH and BOH didn’t provide a lower standard of service due to it being busy.

We went to Rudys yesterday for a birthday event. There was 15 of us so when we called to book they suggested us sitting in the private room. It was great and although our party included children and was loud and hectic, the servers were so friendly, attentive and just great. Food was delicious as always. Thanks so much!

Awful! We ordered Rudy’s through Deliveroo and the pizza was cold, we had to put it in the oven and it wasn’t fresh at all, hadn’t even been cut. The tiramisu came warm and was vile. For the price they charge I’d expect a lot better. Definitely won’t be getting it again, binned most of it.

First time at Rudys - we were super excited to see what all the buzz was about! pizzas were average but the service was very poor. Made to wait ages for our main course and all three orders turned up at different times meaning we couldn’t start until 10 minutes after the first one turned up. Had to get the staff’s attention by getting up from the table twice to ask how long our food is going to be. No apology offered and had to complain to the manager about the service who ‘enlightened’ us how ordering at Rudy works. Safe to say we won’t be coming back.

The pizza here was really nice, one of the best I've had for a while actually. Great service and not too expensive. Parking isn't ideal but there are plenty of residential streets within about 3 minutes walk. They've tried to create a more Italian feel, including a lot of the names of the pizza toppings. English translations would have been good but the waitresses know what's what. I'd definitely be up for coming here again!

I’ve been to the Rudy’s in MCR city centre a couple of times and have always enjoyed the food there. This was my first time visiting the Didsbury restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. I had the ­€‘Agnello Vegana’, a lovely pizza witg plant-based lamb. Pizza is probably one of my favourite foods and I think I actually prefer it without the cheese. The atmosphere at the Didsbury restaurant was great and the staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Will definitely be going back there soon!

Everyone knows Rudy’s pizza is amazing, but it’s just an awesome place to go. The vibe is always great and the servers are all lovely. Love it!

We have been here several times. On Saturday we took my son and his friends for his birthday party. The staff were patient, friendly and very helpful. The service was great! A big thank you to all. The food was excellent as always. An amazing job. 👍

Great independent restaurant, good quality and value....

Pizza base was overstretched and a bit soggy, way too thin in the middle. Service was inattentive and careless, atmosphere noisy and a bit messy, but I like the minimal enterior design.

Good quality restaurant. Parking can be limited but off street can be free. Vegan options are also very good

Great pizza. Great atmosphere. Great service. This was one of the best pizzas that I have had. You should try the Afagatto desert to finish off the meal. A special thanks to the very lovely Noah for making our meal so special.

We went last night for my daughter’s birthday! Absolutely loved it! Everything about it from the atmosphere, the staff, the wine, but the food!!!! I consider myself a pizza snob, I am always disappointed! Until last night! That has to be the best pizza I have ever had! Cannot wait to go back and will be telling everyone!

Always a fan of Rudy's. Might be a bit biased here but it's our favorite pizza place in Manchester. My staple order: Triple Pepperoni pizza, cappuccino and their cheesecake.

Would be great if we actually managed to eat there. 3rd time we've now gone 1 hour before they close for a take away pizza which takes minutes to cook, plus we do not want to sit inside as we live 5 minutes walk away. Weve had the pizza before which are noce however do not advertise you close at 10 and your ovens are off by 9. Lost our custom and will be advising people to use Franco Manca instead who have pizzas just as good and better staff and customer service.

I love Rudys so much, it’s mine and my boyfriends favourite we go all the time. Literally never had a bad order from there, food is so good I have ordered three times in two days! (Shameful I know) but worth every penny. Already can’t wait for my next Rudys

What a shame! A few months ago, this was the place to go for a good pizza. Unfortunately, no longer. We ordered two pizzas tonight. Both arrived with an extremely limited amount of toppings. Just as an example, one of the pizzas was Capricciosa. It was supposed to have San Marzano tomatoes, of which was one; Grana Padano - none; Prosciutto - 2 thin, short slices; 4 olives; artichoke hears - 2 small quaters; basil - none; portobello mushrooms - a few as we paid for exta. As it was a takeaway order, we had to add some toppings ourselves and put everything in the oven to make it a meal. Altogether, we paid £11.70 for a slide of dough with scrapings of toppings. We have to think of another place to order pizza from next time.

Another lovely Pizza at Rudy's. The staff are always very nice giving great service The food is lovely and my 14 yr old son loves it. It is becoming his favourite place to eat out. Always busy with a good atmosphere I feelmit is suitable for all age groups. We will be visiting again very soon.

The sauce on that pizza has kept me up all night if yk what I mean and it was really stuffy inside the food was mediocre at best and the staff weren’t great. That’s sauce tho was so bad and now I can never eat pizza again so hope ur happy

We do love Rudy’s a lot. Been numerous times. One of the best pizzas around. My partner is half Italian and has strong pizza radar, this is a place we like to come back to time and time again. Extremely generous size pizzas, but won’t leave you feeling fully in a stodgy way. Well thought out and delicious pizza options too. Great for vegan, veggies too. High quality ingredients from the toppings to the sauce. Standard is high. You can feel the love they have for what they do. Staff are always very attentive, friendly & helpful. General manager also cares a lot for the place & their customers. It really shows. Very genuine care & service through and through. We live close to the peaks and it’s worth making the journey. Looking forwards to being back again.

Fantastic atmosphere! Great music and superb food, the food was amazing everything listened too and accommodated for. The service from “Daisy”,was amazing, smiles all round, positive throughout and recommended things that I didn’t know I wanted. All together the food was amazing and the service from Daisy made the evening more enjoyable. Defiantly visit again.

Crusts too small recently which makes them really hard. Not airy and fluffy like they should be. Was amazing when they first opened. Missed off the fresh basil on the pizza which I feel really makes a difference so that was disappointing and not enough cheese. Didn’t feel like much effort went into making the pizza. Rudys used to be the best but not anymore for me

Finally managed to get in here, it was fully booked for months. Turned up on a random rainy Monday night without a booking, it was still busy. Would give the service six stars if I could, absolutely top notch. Accomodating, friendly and attentive. Was made to feel so welcome by the bar staff who chatted about the beer with us for a while. Pizzas were huge, tasty and incredible value given the quality. Buzzy vibey atmosphere with a wide age range and type of guest. Will 100% be back. Highly recommended.

The best most authentic Italian pizza in Manchester. Endless options and nice beverages. Also recommend the desserts the are all very tasty. My favorite pizza is triple pepperoni because you have a sauce called honey chilli and it makes the taste ever better. All the Rudy’s are pretty much similar.

We love Rudy's, it's one of our favourite places. However, we weren't happy that they didn't have a kids' menu and kids' activities when we visited with my 3 year old son. The service and food were great.

This is the worst pizzeria I have ever tried on Deliveroo. I cannot recommend them. I edited my review, because the restaurant asked more details: 1. The pizza was late, about 30 mins. 2. It was fully cold and dry. 3. I asked sun-dried-tomato, I received normal tomato that was like a plastic. 4. I asked for vegan cheese, which was dry and caused my stomach problem (I have been vegan for more than two decades and never experienced this) 5. The extra dip's I ordered (chilli honey)... It's box was opened so it flowed out and It was at the bottom of the paper bag so I could not even taste it, + the Coke was fully covered by the dip. I think that was everything.

Love Rudy's and the one in Didsbury is yet another example of their superb quality.

It was standard fired pizza. Iv had pizza from other non dedicated pizza places. Nothings special at all and does not live up to the hype. Pizza was strangely chewy so much so that my jaw hurt after. Boring.

An absolute gem of a place. The service was fabulous and the food was first class. Watching the pizzas going in and out of the traditional oven was a real treat. The tiramisu is to die for....

Went to Rudy’s on Friday have been to a number of their restaurants before. Experience was terrible lots of staff helping themselves to drinks on their phones not really interested in the customer. Not enough salt in the pizza dough. Shame don’t end up like Jamie Oliver and Carluccios sort your staff out
