This is the second time my husband, daughter and I have visited Vincenzo, the last being on my husbands birthday in August. I loved it so much, I was determined to come back even if it wasn't for a special occasion. We were served by Rosa, who was friendly, chatty and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. It appears that the staff are in the main Italian, which gives the place an authentic Italian atmosphere and for me having been all over Italy, this is the best, most authentic, Italian,we have been to outside Italy. Whilst they continue to employ people like lovely Rosa and serve fantastic authentic and thoroughly delicious food, their business will continue to flourish, really looking forward to my next visit😁😍

Some friends and I visited relatively late on a Sunday yet were warmly welcomed even opening their upstairs area for us. Following that I had one of the best Italian meals I've ever had and our waitress was incredibly helpful as well as fun

where to begin? the staff? super friendly, 10/10. the minestrone soup? An explosion of flavor, to my great delight. As my friend put it, “this bruschetta could step on me and spit on me and I’d say thank you. The lasagna and spaghetti bolognese? Moved me to tears. This place is my new home.

Been here numerous times now, my go-to place for reasonable yet tasty italian in manchester!! the food is always perfect and the atmosphere of the restaurant is so cosy and authentic! one thing is that sometimes service is a little slow but it is understandable considering how busy its been every time i’ve visited! would recommend :)

Nice staff but unfortunately the food was very average. We had the carbonara pasta and a seafood pasta dishes. Carbonara almost taste like a powdered cheese, not nice .. the seafood pasta was just alright. Unfortunately I would not go back again

This afternoon, I attempted to book a table at this restaurant based on its positive reviews. However, after an unreasonable delay of over 5 hours, I finally received a response—only to be told my reservation was declined. What I find baffling is that I booked at 4:30 PM, during the time their website clearly indicated availability. Frankly, it’s their loss. I’ve already made a reservation with another local restaurant that values its customers and confirmed my booking right away. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place. It seems they believe they can pick and choose guests without knowing who they are or how much they might spend. Do yourself a favor—take your business elsewhere. This restaurant is a complete joke.

What a gorgeous restaurant with incredible service by Rosa. The food was delicious and it was such a welcoming atmosphere! I can’t wait to come back. We had bruschetta, arancini, rabbit ragu parpadelle, cannelloni, tiramisu and several Limoncello cocktails and oh my gaaaaaaawd it was heaven! Grazi Rosa!

Beautiful Location and great atmosphere. I've been here before and wanted to come back again, because of how good it was (8 months later). We had a starter, the fried calamari and fish which was very nicely presented and both myself and my girlfriend were happy with. Unfortunately on the main course the pizza (photo) had no flavour to it, it was covered in tomato sauce, as if it were a liquid, the cheese slid right off, I was so disappointed as last time it was so nice. I didn't even finish it, it was inedible, my girlfriend loved the pasta she had, so I'm guessing it was just a fluke. In terms of service, there was one waiter (not ours) who came to check on us, however our waiter didn't even speak, I don't know if she didn't speak English or she was shy, but she didn't speak, when we entered I said I had a booking and she just walks away (presumably wanted us to follow, but no indication of it), in the end we were served by the only male waiter, who was very good and friendly. Im not sure about how much cleaning or maintenance goes on in this place, seemed to be dirt and cracks on the toilet, as well as stained seats. The service didnt ruin my evening, but the pizza did, my girlfriend was happy though, so it gets 3*'s for that. Unfortunately, I won't be returning, as thae pizza put me off (Italian restaurant doesn't know how to make pizza), however I reccomend to stop by to anyone reading this.

Girls day out yesterday here. I can't recommend enough. The food was beautiful. Tge service was excellent. I'm sorry I didn't get names but the male waiter who brought Lee will know who he is and the waitress you are welcome to join our ladies who lunch any time. You made our day. Xx

Completely unwilling/unable to accommodate our party because we had an infant. Cancelled our booking. I called up and offered to bring a fold out high chair that straps to a normal restaurant seat, and then still said no. I can't speak about atmosphere or food. Couldn't even be bothered get the spelling of my name right. Terrible phone manner. Update after Response: See Additional Photo: Liars, all of them. As you can clearly see from the first photo I sent, the reservation you declined was for THREE not SIX or SEVEN. I called once to ask if you could take seven, you said no. Then I made a reservation for THREE and FOUR (two separate bookings), and mentioned the THREE included a child, which you then declined (you did not cancel the Four, I did) because you don't have high chairs. I then called to explain we had a booster seat, and your staff rudely dismissed me in broken english. My 1 star rating for service is valid, and I have the evidence to discredit your lying attempt to reimagine the incident.

What a delightful and cosy Italian place in Manchester. When you enter the resturant, you will feel the Mediterranean feel of southern Italy. Food is excellent. Pasta was cooked beautifully and not too heavy. So good Wine is great too Service is professional and friendly

Amazing authentic Italian cuisine, i tried the mushroom risotto, it was really tasty. Would definitely recommend, also the garlic/cheese bread tasted great!, i’ve also tried their amazing tiramisu thanks to Rosa’s recommendation. TOTALLY RECOMMEND! such a nice ending to an amazing meal! the BEST thing is the service! Alex and Rosa were so welcoming and friendly. To all the solo travelers, i’m sure you’ll enjoy your meal there! Definitely recommend it and would go back again!!

Was a walk in on a early on a Tuesday evening. Did not intend to have three courses but I did really enjoyed the penne pasta as a main.Finished off with a coffee and an Irish.The draught beer was well poured.All of the staff that I had contact with made me feel very welcome.No hesitation in eating here again.Highly recommend.

We had a really great evening. Our waitress Rosa was very nice, she explained everything to us. Surelly wasn't easy because english is not our mothertounge. She always looked after us and was really helpful. The meal was delicious, and the desert was the best we had in a long time. If you are thinking about going to vincenzo do it. It's really Worth it.

A really lovely Italian restaurant. I found this online and went with the good reviews. We weren't disappointed. The food was great, staff were good fun and service was really good. Lots to choose from on the menu and our very dear friend was serenaded with a rousing rendition of Happy Birthday to accompany her ice cream! She was thrilled. Great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Came here for dinner on a Monday night, and the restaurant was quite busy. The service was excellent right from the start and thoughtful the whole meal. The waiters are attentive and friendly, elevating the whole experience. I had the Paccheri frutti di mare, as a main, which was delicious. Highly recommend! Also, I'd advise calling ahead to see if they have space, especially if you don't have a reservation.

Delicious, excellent service as well! Atmosphere was lovely, would absolutely recommend - I had the sausage pasta w garlic bread and crème brulee for desert, would reccomend these all - portion size might look small but was VERY filling, good quality + filling food :)

Firstly, Rosangela and Stefano were absolutely delightful. Super warm, authentic and welcoming, professional and kind. We ordered the Cannelloni Paesani - super rico and great size for the price! Just what we needed on a dark rainy Sunday. We also ordered Paccheri con Salsicca - decent, the sausage was the main show and we found the size of the main to be tiny. We also got the bottle of house red, a fruity, full bodied, slightly acidic deliciousness, the tiramisu (decent) and the Panna cotta (excellent). We will definitely visit again for Rosa, Stef, the Cannelloni and the beautiful setting.

We were very pampered for our last dinner in Manchester. The two Italian servers were over the moon with us. What can I say about the food which was super succulent! 😋We enjoyed the house red wine, it was very good! 🥂Very nice evening and very nice memory!!! Thank you again for having us!

Nice enough place inside, although it hasn't changed much from when it used to be a Frankie and Bennys. There are much nicer Italians in Manchester with better food at better prices. Wouldn't bother going here again when San Carlo and Cichetti are just down the road with much better food at cheaper prices.

Amazing service, staff were so friendly and went the extra mile. They surprised my boyfriend with a complimentary tiramisu for his birthday which was so lovely!

More than 5 stars great food and Alex and Mariano are an assett to this place got lasagne was the best ive had also pate amazing and calamari fritta with alioli this place is incredible highly recommend the lasagne it was a piece of heaven thanks for a great late lunch we will be back soon.

We ordered 4 pasta dishes: carbonara, bolognese, napolitana and chicken with mushrooms. And, to which worse! All pretty infamous. Improved hygiene both in the room and in the sinks. Fair service. They also didn't ask because we asked for the bill with the dishes almost ready to start and without ordering dessert, I suppose it usually happens to them.

1st time at this restaurant positive there will be more visits.

After a few days in Manchester I was craving Italian cuisine and Trattoria Vincenzo took me to Italy. I recommend it

Absolutely amazing experience, I came to Manchester to holiday and I was looking for some Italian restaurant, I found this one and I went to try it and was the best choice I made. The service is very kind and true Italian, the place is old fancy and clean, it’s make you fell so comfortably and relax to have your meal. The food is so tasty, it’s really Italian food. I asked for a tradicional carbonara and it’s was the best carbonara I’ve ever had in my life. I’m very glad for the experience, the price is very fair, they are very honest, they don’t including tips in the bill, so please give them tips, they really deserve it!

It's a tragedy how things are cooked here. Ravioli di aragosta with flour cardboard. The waiter took it with composure, but that was the BEST. And that at 17.x GPD

It's not bad and the staff is very friendly but in the end you discover that there is better Italian cuisine out there.

Brilliant little place. The food was outstanding and the waiting staff were friendly and amusing without being intrusive. One of the nicest meals out in a long time. Bravo!

Fantastic food!! All guests were super happy with their meals. Chips were forgotten but swiftly brought over and taken off the bill by the kind waiter to apologise. Spag Bol was beautiful and the waiter was happy to supply me with a mountain of parmesan to go with it!

Food was rather average but expensive

I went here for my birthday and the food was delicious. Mariano, Steph and the staff came out with a desert singing happy birthday and made the atmosphere so welcoming!

Walked in without any booking , staff was very friendly, they managed to give me a table, the restaurant was full. Food was delicious, service was excellent, thank you to MARIANO & STEPH 🫶 and all of them. Was my daughter birthday and they managed to surprise her with an delicious tiramisu with a candle on it and all the staff around her singing. Lovely atmosphere, lovely staff , highly recommended.

The service staff were just wonderful!!! Gentle in mannerisms and with humour delightful enough to shoulder some of the burden of keeping my guest enthused.

Thanks to a wonderful service all in italian (as requested) with explanations and little lessons added. The food arrived promptly, waiters were very available and intentional, the dishes were delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the desserts: chocolate fudge and specialty of the day "zuppa inglese" Grazie mille !

Had a fantastic three course meal here prior to a theatre show, the food and the service were absolutely superb! It was also to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary and our waiter, unbeknownst to us, arranged for a little surprise to be brought out at the end of our meal, a delicious tiramisu with "happy wedding anniversary" piped onto the plate, which absolutely made the experience! A truly wonderful touch! We will no doubt come here for a meal again and would recommend it to anyone!

We visited twice whilst we were staying in Manchester , we were so impressed after the first visit we booked for the second night . The food is absolutely delicious! The menu has a huge variety from pastas to pizzas along with steak, chicken and fish , the choice is endless , something for everyone’s taste , the majority of the desserts are all homemade also , but the cheesecake is absolutely divine ! The best I’ve ever tasted ! So light and creamy . Whenever we visit Manchester again we are definitely going back there ! The staff are so friendly and welcoming and nothing too much trouble . It does get very busy so booking is advised .

Amazing atmosphere, but the food is quite mediocre. Chicken was tasteless, Panna Cotta comes plain. Hair on the napkin… Prices are okay, overall we had a nice afternoon there.

Excellent food and service. Called in on the off chance and they managed to find us a table. The minestrone soup was like a main course in itself. The Pollo Delizioso was delicious and a change for me as I normally opt for lasagne when dining in an Italian. Just made room for Tiramisu but needn't have worried about not being able to eat it as it was so light. Will be back the next time we are in Manchester.

We initially chose this restaurant as we heard some inviting Italian music floating through the door … and we are so glad we did. It was the best dining experience .. not only was the food delicious and very fairly priced, but there was a concise and very appetising wine list that once again didn’t break the bank but the thing that “MADE IT” was the service that we received from both Rosa and Mariano was above and beyond .. Thank you so much for making our evening so special !

Decent atmosphere, however the food was a massive letdown, the food is highly priced just to taste like Sainsbury's food, I had a chicken which tasted like the sauce it was supposed to be cooked in was a pretty flavourless instant sauce that was just thrown on top... I would have happily waited even longer than the one hour for my food just for better quality... It tastes more like english kitchen than Mediterranean in any case and does nlt justify its prices...

Absolutely scrumptious food and the waiters were very courteous and welcoming. The fried calamari is to die for and their tartare sauce was so tasty. I also tried the Paccheri Con Sulaiccia which was one of the most delicious pastas I have ever tried. The Tiramisu was also really good. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for authentic Italian food. I will definitely come here again next time.

This is our fourth visit here and will always be our choice if we want to eat in Manchester. Food is lovely, freshly cooked and with enough choice to serve all but the pickiest eater. Staff are friendly, courteous and attentive. For a city centre restaurant, prices are good and a meal for two including beers and wine, around £80. Well worth it.

AVOID in any cost I rang to go there with my baby and I’ve been told that I can’t hold my baby on my arms Hope it closes down soon
