Very very tasty falafel wrap, reasonable pricing and a extensive menu. Also it smelt amazing, really want to come and try the moussaka next! Everything was freshly prepared.

Delicious food and a friendly host!

We had moussaka, and two pizzas, pepperoni and vegetable, the host was attentive and customised our pizzas to our tatse, each ingredient was fresh and tatsed amazing, the food was filling yet light. I am definitely making this on my favourite local and looking forward to try other food items on menu, also had home made tirimasu, absolutely yummy.

Food was to the point and fresh ingredients. The owner Ali is amazing and very passionate about what he cooks and delivers. He is very chatty and welcoming. So please do say hello to him.

Strolled in late night for a pizza .The guy was very friendly and gave a good suggestion and the pizza turned out to be great as well . Will be coming back to try some more dishes 😊

I came in here for the first time yesterday with my mum and sister. Absolutely amazing food 100/10 service was impeccable an all round amazing place, I will definitely be back and be telling all my friends about this place. I haven’t found food like this at a reasonable price in a long time and I’ll definitely become a regular here. Today was my first time on trying levantino and oh my god it was absolutely stunning I had half chicken with chips, my kids had a margarita pizza and my husband had the carbonara pasta I can't put into words on how much we all enjoyed this food and the men who own and run the restaurant are amazing and welcoming if your ever in copson street in Withington please go and visit you will not regret it honestly it's all made fresh infront of you it's a must try..thank you so much levantino for your hospitality and wonderful food.

We had a craving for halal Italian food and found ourselves with limited options. Fortunately, we discovered this amazing restaurant, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we walked in, the owner greeted us with a warm, friendly smile and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. He even crafted a custom garlic and spicy tomato bread that was simply divine. Every dish we tried was bursting with rustic, authentic flavors, and it was clear that the ingredients were incredibly fresh. The care and attention to detail in each bite were truly impressive. We are thrilled to have found such a fantastic spot for halal Italian cuisine. If you're in the mood for delicious, authentic food, this place is a must-visit. You will not be disappointed!

A hidden gem! The creamy pasta dish was delicious and authentic. I regret not ordering the pizza this time around but I will be visiting again very soon. The chef, Ali, was extremely welcoming and you can tell he takes great pride in his food. Must visit!

Came here with my colleagues for lunch. It was very good! The staff were friendly, the waiting time was reasonable, and the food were at good quality. Recommended.

Shawrma was very poorly prepared, poor presentation . Hygiene could have been better by wearing gloves or using utensils rather than touching all food with hands

My partner and I went to this restaurant at the end of a trip from the states. We were served amazing, fresh food by the owner (Ali) who was the most pleasant man you could meet. We had hummus with real EVOO. Pasta cooked perfectly and authentic Italian garlic bread. We stayed longer for dessert (an amazing rice pudding) and conversation. After we left, my partner and I noticed we felt rested and in a much better mood than when we arrived. I’d give it more than 5 stars if it were available.

Fantastic place. A great range of breakfast, meze, wraps, middle Eastern and Italian dishes. This time I came for a quick lamb kofta wrap which was full of fresh salad and freshly cooked kofta. The kids love the pizza. Falafel are also second to none. This is the best place in Withingto n and does pasta arrabiata wonderfully too. Excellent service.

The owners are really friendly. The food is good but nothing to die for. If you are nearby and want to have a decent pizza this is a really good place to.

Hidden gem in Withington. This place is full of flavours and Alì is a magician of food, you just have to let him cook and allow yourself to feel a new experience every time. It's a place to treat with deep care as is really a delicate gem. Also best crispy pizza ever.

Levantino is a hidden gem in Withington owned by the ever so friendly Chef Ali. What an experience we have had today from start to finish, we felt like we dined with the chef! Chef Ali is extremely passionate about ingredients and this is delivered through the high standard and quality of his food. At the beginning he goes through the menu with you and gives you his recommendations. We mainly came here to sample halal authentic Italian food ( which in itself is so rare to find! ) however we ended up trying a variety of food including arabic delights; from cold mezze, chicken shawarma ( the most succulent juicy chicken we have ever tasted) and finishing on the italian side with pasta ( customised to our liking and so delicious) and the most amazing pizza I have ever had, tasted exactly like a neapolitan pizza - it was devine you felt you had dined in Naples. Oh and the tiramisu and rice pudding are 10/10! Thank you so much to Chef Ali and Chef Abdul for their hard work and their delicious food. We will be back again! Give this place a try, you won't regret it.

Ali was so friendly and his recommendations were spot on. The best Italian food I have had. Better than any food I have had in Italy! We had 2 different pasta dishes, pizza and desserts...all absolutely delicious. To top it off, everything is halal! Will definitely be visiting again

Lovely food, friendly welcome, reasonably priced

We were on a short trip to Manchester and we would cook at the B&B, but once we visited Levantino we wanted to visit more often before our trip was over. We were treated kindly, the prices were reasonable, and the food was delicious. We could feel the chef's passion for food and caring for customers; the daily specials are exciting and must be tried. I hope I will have another chance to visit this city and Levantino.

Nice place, have a good time here. It was very delicious. I ate here with my friends for three days. It was very disappointing to think that I would not be able to eat it after returning to Taiwan.

Was visiting my parents who live around the corner. Saw the Google reviews and menu for Levantino and that pretty much made the choice for us. Had dinner here tonight with my mum. Ali and family were amazingly warm and so passionate about the food they freshly prepare in front of you. And they should be so proud, the whole experience was amazing. We shared 4 mezzes and I had the liver main course, every dish was bursting with flavour. I dont photograph my life, but felt their business deserved a strong review and we had already finished our food... As can be seen we cleared the plates (portions were generous!) Only leaving a wafer thin vine leaf.... which they wrapped to take home, along with some baklava to share with my dad who couldn't join us this night. My mum is sold as well and I think this will become a family favourite 😍 so much to choose from on the menu as well!! We wish them every success 🙏🙏

Always passed by this place and never ventured in, I did today and the experience was absolutely delightful. We ordered to go and Ali, who took our order, was so sweet and friendly, he even offered us little samples of the menu during our wait (which were gorgeous btw). The food we ordered was delicious, no other word for it. Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!

We decided to order takeout from Levantino on a whim this evening as we were really intrigued by the menu outside and I’m so glad we did! Really friendly place, so thankful for the tiramisu recommendation & some tasters of other dishes whilst we waited for our food, which didn’t take long at all but was nice to sit in and enjoy the gorgeous smell of food and have a better look at the menu for a future visit. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, from the tabbouleh & meat panini down to the chips & fresh orange juice … we’re already planning on coming back, there’s a lot more we want to try! I am Italian and I dine here regularly, they serve amazing fresh food. This little restaurant and take away is a little gem . I recommend their pasta, they give an abundant portion and it tastes like home made by my mum (and cooked al dente). Just go and you'll see.

I asked Ali if he could cater for a family gathering I was having at home. I could not have been happier with the wonderful food that was made for us. Every single item was delicious. The lamb shoulder was super tender, the chicken was delicious as was the gravy made from scratch! Loved the sides. Tiramisu and rice pudding were the perfect two desserts to keep everyone happy! Thank you Ali and the team - I wouldn’t think twice about going for this again.

We were in the area so I looked up a local place on Google. Wow. As we walked in we were greeted by the owner, then followed up with "Have you been here before?". He then explained the roots of the Italian and middle Eastern dishes. We went for a middle Eastern mix of starters, which were amazing, plus a complementary aubergine taster. This was followed by pizza, on an amazing thin base, lovely. Everything is cooked in front of you, with wonderfully chatty and service. If we are ever in the area again we will visit. I recommend.

Great food and very welcoming would recommend

An elderly man at the restaurant was quite rude. He kept going back and forth between smoking outside and coming in to cook. While I was discussing my order and the ingredients with a friendly lady, he suddenly started making sarcastic remarks about my comments. Rudely, he began in Arabic and then switched to English in a sarcastic tone, as if he took offense to my simple questions about the ingredients. The lady appeared to be quite intimidated by this old man, and you could tell she was visibly embarrassed. As for the food, it was just average, and considering the high prices, I wasn't too impressed. I've decided not to return to this place and will be taking my business elsewhere. It's funny how I had initially thought this restaurant would become my new favorite since I moved to the neighborhood.

Had the Shish Kebab platter with chips, absolutely delicious, best chips I've had in a long time, the platter is served with a side salad and the Shish is moist. Staff are super friendly as well highly recommend a visit

[UPDATE] THEY NOW HAVE VEGAN CHEESE!!! Lovely staff, great service, and even better food! I am vegan and still found a bunch of different things to eat. 1) mousaka: really well done and just the right hint of spice 2) hummus: delicious yummy 3) pita: finally, a place that serves legit pita! 4) tabouleh: made fresh right in front of you. It’s crisp, refreshing and delicious! 5) pizza: light, crisp, airy crust, and topped with veggies and a delicious pizza sauce.

The food was great, flavourful and we ate everything off the plates. The food came very quickly after ordering as there were a few people making the food. They were friendly and gave information about the food and told us which dishes were spicy. The only issue was the fire alarm going off in the middle of eating and it was so loud but he turned it off as quickly as possible.

First time here and didn't disappoint after seeing other reviews. Very friendly staff who gave some recommendations like the Foul Medamas and Frutti di Mare pizza.

I'm not normally a reviewer of things - but Copson street's Levantino is a real gem. They make a great falafel wrap - the outside is crispy and the inside is light and smooth. There's loads of other stuff on the menu which is probably also delicious. The chefs clearly know what they're doing and put the quality of the food first. It's all reasonably priced too - and the staff are really friendly.

Me and my wife had been saying we should check this place out and we’re glad we did! The owner was very helpful and recommended things we should try (we wanted to try something new). The food was really good, fairly priced and a huge amount of variety! We had sliced beef inside of a slightly spiced sauce that was very rich with flavour! We will be back to try the pasta and the pizza! Definitely worth taking a chance on

Went here as I'd gone past it many times. Thought I'd have a lunch see what it was like and I was so pleased that I did. My cousin and I went for the the kibbeh which were so nice full of flavour and not overly cooked had a nice crunch on the outside and the inside was filled with meats and nuts and so nice I could have had a few more. We ordered the lasagna and the bolognese both of which were amazing. Cooked perfectly and had the most amazing taste. The mozzarella garlic bread was so light and airy not dense at all. There are so many options to choose from which when I go again I will choose something else completely. Definitely a nice place.

My family and I enjoyed our first visit to Levantino. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. We had hot mezze, cold mezze, vine leaves, and tabbouleh as well as chicken nuggets and chips and freshly squeezed orange juice!

I don't think I would get such delicious food and the most masterful is the touch of home cooking, full of flavors. Ali makes you feel at home. And the RICE PUDDING is from another world.

Love this place good food and good vibes

Tried the chicken with rice, pasta, baklava, and hot tea. Food were truly amazing. The chicken was moist and juicy with crispy skin outside. Seafood pasta was creamy, flavourful and spicy upon request. Baklava was flaky and less sweet, just the way I like. Friendly chefs and comfortable seating area. Would definitely come again !
