Six of us visited the King Street restaurant in Manchester on a Thursday evening. It was busy, but not full. I started with a couple of ‘bites’ - the pesto chicken with sliced potatoes was nice and very tasty. The mozzarella and prosciutto board was a decent size, but really quite bland and tasteless. Like it was straight out of a supermarket plastic wrapper. I then had sourdough Ham and Mushroom pizza, which tasted ok but looked as though it was seriously ill - pale, undercooked and cold and sloppy in the middle. My friend also ordered a pepperoni pizza - his was overcooked and burned down one side. Does your pizza oven need looking at maybe, or did we just get the trainee chef? I also ordered a side salad with olives etc… the ingredients were nice and fresh and the salad leaves were crisp, but the oil used for the dressing (or the sun dried tomatoes) was musty, bitter and old and ruined the flavour completely. The Montepulciano wine was probably ok, but I couldn’t taste it as it was so cold. When I asked for the two unopened bottles to be replaced with warmer, room temperature versions, I was told they were the last two bottles on the premises. Hmmm… really? The atmosphere was ok and I know its the time of noisy Christmas office parties, but the table next to us were really loud, to the point where they were even singing football chants and banging the tables with their fists. None of the staff asked them to be quieter and by this time we couldn’t be bothered complaining. The service was quick and efficient and the staff were very pleasant. I won’t be coming back here though and I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody - which is a shame because when the food was prepared properly, it was really quite nice.

My son was in Manchester for the last three years at Uni. This was my favourite coffee shop when visiting. Limited food options but everything they have is really fresh and really good. Can be busy at times. Free WiFi and laptop friendly.

Absolutely amazing! Great choice of sides and the meats were just fantastic. Chilli beef nearly blew my cap off though! The pineapple was delicious!

The food and staff were fabulous the four of us loved this experience like no other. Adam himself is a lovely chatty guy whose love for food clearly shows. Love to go again soon.

Bartender was on one with the music! DJ extraordinaire! Loads were up dancing which made for a great atmosphere!

Just magnificent. It attracts the young and beautiful and the wealthy and you can see why: it's got everything you want from a night or afternoon out. It's massive and it was buzzing (too busy for my liking but that's me). The venue is astonishing; what a gorgeous building. Full marks.

The burgers 🤤🤤🤤 Agree with other reviewers though, the toilets were abysmal

A group of us are going to a nearby restaurant and wanted somewhere decent to have a drink first. Although very busy, this place did the trick and we had a nice time. We were in Christmas party season so the main bar was extremely busy. No problem, we found the temporary tent place next door did the job really well and we stayed for a couple of beers. Not many people seem to know about it and perhaps thought it was for a private party which meant the bar was quiet and we got served quickly. The northern Irish barman was excellent and we got served quickly. It's well over £6.50 a pint which I guess is the going rating Manchester know but the beer was good and the Atmosphere busy and fun.
