Feel Good Club in Manchester

slow waiting for a table. when we finally got the table, there was a long queue to order since customers have to order at the till. there was only one woman taking peoples orders who was doing her job very slowly and even stopped to make herself a drink and drink it while there was a long queue of people. took 35 minutes for brunch to arrive. seems like a nice place if we came at a time that was less busy but was unimpressed by the slow service. Food was decent with a good portion but not worth the wait or money.

The place is lovely but the kitchen cannot hold the high capacity during brunch time. We waited for almost one hour, and the oat wasn’t cooked properly, it went lumpy and gooey. Also the toast was burnt.

visited after work for a coffee catch up with a friend, despite being after 5pm the staff were more than happy to make us a coffee before closing and cleaning the machine, the vibe was great, good amount of outdoor seating. a lovely visit :)

Went with my mum for late brunch food was brilliant.. coffee and avacado toast, hallomi, eggs divine Atmosphere very relaxed and very dog friendly. Will be back with our pooch!!!

Just wanted to say a massive thanks to all the staff at The Feel Good Club for hosting my daughter's wedding today. Food was amazing 🤩 bar staff fabulous and the whole atmosphere was fantastic 5 stars is not enough to say how wonderful the day was

Thank you to the feel good club for hosting my sisters wedding yesterday! What a fabulous time! The food was delicious, especially the salmon pasta, and the staff were wonderful. Thank you to the team And the music was exactly what they asked for. And thank you for saving the cake when it arrived saying the wrong thing. 10/10.

Lovely decor and concept, visited a few times. Coffee is always perfect, merch is gorgeous and an all round lovely spot. Special mention to the girl who gifted us a turn in the Photo Booth 🩷👏🏼 My only criticism is that it’s been taken over by students and laptop users during the day, which means it lacks the community feel I believe it was aspiring to, but I reckon this changes in the evening when the alcohol starts flowing! 🍻

Love the atmosphere in here, huge space and great for studying with friends. The rose coffee was very yummy, will be back to try the food!

After hearing a lot about this place, I finally visited today, as I'm dog-sitting and heard it's the most dog-friendly place possible. Pros: Great location, nicely decorated, welcoming signs, posters and online presence. Cons: My visit was made pretty miserable by waiting around 40 mins or so for a muffin with a fish finger patty and two slices of lettuce on, which cost me an eye-watering £10. I like and appreciate the concept of slow food and waiting for good things. But not for this long and not for food of this standard. By the way, I also ordered a little dog sausage, which was fine and a nice idea. But, by the time the muffin arrived, my coffee was stone cold and the dog was restless and hungry, so I had to eat it asap and leave. Anyone considering a visit, I'd say maybe stop for a quick coffee, but don't order food. There are much better options in the area - sad but a fair conclusion, I think. People don't have a lot of money nowadays and competition is high, so with this level of service, this cafe is shooting itself in the foot unfortunately.

Beautiful freshly made food and drinks and a lovely light and friendly atmosphere, with helpful and cheery bar staff and some beautiful gifts in the small and interesting shopping corner. Hartley recommend this relaxing cafe to all who seek a quiet and relaxing place to enjoy. Also, We really love the photo booth!!!

Lovely place to work and put some hours down on the laptop.. great tea and drink selection and love the fact it’s dog friendly too.. the only reason I marked the service down is that I arrived at 6:10 in the evening and quickly found a table.. ordered a drink at the bar and that promptly arrived at 6:20 (nothing said at anytime about closing for a gig at 6:30) a lady then proceeded to walk to every table except mine to tell everyone about the closure. Perhaps better to inform me before a purchase that I’d only have 10 mins to consume.

A mood lifting atmosphere with a good range of simply prepared foods and a good understanding of dietary requirements and allergies. Wish the font size on menu was bigger or a copy of the menu printed on A3 for those with a visual impairment.

Poached eggs were basically hard boiled and the hash brown was basically all crisp and no potato

Recently went back to feel good club after a stint of avoiding it due to their busy service, but true to their core messaging, I was reminded that we all need to slow down and good things take time. Went back recently with friends and super enjoyed my time there, so went back again for a solo work day and had an iced matcha and ceasar salad ! Very laptop friendly.

Atmosphere is nice in this cafe, however food was not great, toke so long to arrive and the staff isn't very friendly. The bartender didn't seem to be adequate after being partying the night before. Won't be back.

very nice atmosphere! a really chilled place to sit for a coffee/study. Plenty of seating! prices reasonable. Only downsides were that the toilet was quite filthy and my hot drink was given to me in a glass which i had to wait for it to completely cool down as i couldn’t physically hold it.

Unfortunately, nothing to feel good about. Food service took forever. And nobody really cared. One of the worst experiences I've had in a bit. 45mins wait for breakfast and the orders after us got their food served first instead. Not cool.

Me and my partner were so excited to try here such a shame it wasn't great. Ordered 2 coffees, mine was absolutely delicious the other was almost certainly a dead shot that had been there for a while as the coffee was awful. I ordered a drink that they then didn't have! And also didn't even have ice. The food took over 1 hour to come. My partner and I both work in hospo and are super empathetic towards things like this but by the time it had come it was cold. Such a shame as the atmosphere was great and the layout and vibes were lovely. Might try again to give it another shot!

What an absolute delight! If you love life, love people and are accepting of all head to this place. Great if by yourself or with people. It is more than a cafe , it is therapy for the soul. Manchester is an amazing city and cafes like The FGC putting this city into the European stratosphere. THANKS!!!😊🙏🙏

Came for brunch with my partner fast service and a nice atmosphere. The cali eggs were really good and my hot chocolate was so pretty! My partner found his latte a bit bitter though. I would deffo come again though we had a lovely time playing all the board games as well !!! Also bonus points for being dog friendly 🐶

During the weekday, great place to work with some coffee. Love the wall of dogs (seen multiple cute dogs in the cafe as well)

Great place, was fully packed on a Sunday. Good for events , quite spacious. Not many food options but mainly good for drinks and hangouts

The staff were very impolite and unprofessional. We waited for our food for over 1 hour while other tables who sat after us were being served before us.

Food was ok but SO NOT WORTH the wait. We waited over 1h and 20minutes for a simple brunch order. The worst part was the staff was totally unbothered by our and other tables’ frustration and they were just casually hanging out together. They also seemed annoyed by everything we asked and did not even apologize for the long wait

The most wholesome brunch experience ever. The staff were so nice, warm and welcoming. The vibe was super relaxed and chilled even though it was busy. The food was super tasty and the coffee was amazing. We ended up coming back two days in a row and I'll definitely be back everytime I'm in Manchester! Also they had a message on the menu about not including calories which was so sweet and we really appreciated ❤️ Thank you!

We went in and waited at the front to be seated, as the sign requested. Staff passed us by 3 times, and were avoiding eye contact. We were ignored for 10 minutes before my partner decided just to sit down, at which point staff finally acknowledged us and gave us 1 menu for 4 people. There were plenty of empty seats and it wasn't especially busy so I just don't understand how this was acceptable. Anyway, we were then told to order at the bar. We ordered, and our coffees came in glasses without handles which meant they were too hot to hold for a while. But it was good coffee. I watched the table next to us wait 20 minutes for their coffee, though our coffees came within 5 minutes. We then waited for 40 minutes for food and we were not told there was any expected wait. The food came and it was warm, but not hot. I had eggs florentine and it was some of the sloppiest florentine I've had. The more I ate it the less I liked it, I honestly think I only liked it in the beginning because I was so hungry by this point. The hash browns were good though, and someone came round offering a free shot if beer. Honestly, I would give this place a miss. We were very close to asking for a refund and leaving. It's like they knew to deliver the food at the exact moment we were going to leave. At this point, sunk cost fallacy just meant we ate it as fast as possible so we could leave.

I have been to Feel Good Club a few times and have never had the best experience. This past weekend I went with friends, on arrival we were given no menus and weren't told how to order, we had to grab a menu from a couple sat next to us and worked out that you needed to order at the bar. When my drink arrived the server quietly said what the drink was and then without even giving us time to respond said "can someone just take this drink" in an aggressive manner, slammed it on the table and walked off. After 45 minutes of waiting for food we caught the attention of a different server to ask how long our food would be, they told us that waiting time was 1 hour, which we were never told on arrival, if we had been told this we would have gone somewhere else. It was actually 1 hour and 20 minutes before I got my food, and the rest of my groups food was served at different times even though we ordered together. It wasn't packed when we were at the cafe and the meals we ordered were very simple. It is definitely not worth the wait. Unfortunately the atmosphere was uninviting, which is a shame as this cafe is meant to promote positivity and be a welcoming space for all. It is safe to say that me and my friends did not leave feeling good.

Great food but during the 4-5 times I’ve visited I feel like some staff act like you’re an inconvenience 😂

Visiting Manchester this weekend and decided to try here for some food. When we arrived there was a small queue of about 10 people that moved quickly, when we got to the front we were told “all of our tables have just been filled right now” we asked how long the wait would be and she said “a long time, everyone’s just sat down”…. so everyone’s just sat down at the exact same time? THEN people left and they sat a table that was behind us in the queue. Beyond a joke, never even asked if we wanted to wait and have a coffee outside or anything.

Honestly a bit disappointed. I had wanted to try this place for ages and finally got some time to do so. When I did, it was very disorganised. I waited at the front in case I had to be seated (there was no sign I could see to say you had to wait but I don't want to assume) stood for a good five minutes trying to make eye contact with the waiters but nobody approached me, so I decided to go sit at one of the free tables available. Went to the bar area for a menu as there wasn't a food one on my table, only cocktails, decided what I wanted to order, and went up to the bar area with my menu in hand. There were four people behind the bar and not one of them decided to even acknowledge I was there. I got closer to the bar and said excuse me a couple times to get their attention to ask how it worked/if I could order there or if it was table service but suddenly they started chatting amongst themselves about something. Figured they were busy so went back to my table, tried to see if there was an app or something I could order from or something online about ordering, turn round send there's a huge line of people all waiting to order at the bar area, and just left because it was going to be ages before I got served at that rate. Not a single staff member acknowledged me the whole time I was there, and the two waiters seemed completely overwhelmed trying to get things to tables. Never done a review before but this just wasn't a great experience, sorry. I understand if times are busy but it takes two seconds to say - hi we are super busy, you can order here/somebody will take your order at your table/we have an app etc. More than happy to wait but had no clue what was going on.

Visited here today on our trip to Manchester from Scotland, we’re seated without menus or told how to order, my partner ordered the mac n cheese which was flavourless, over cooked and not warm. I had ordered the breakfast, which again was not warm, after a 40 minute wait for our food. Had asked for poached eggs and didn’t get them (received fried) and both meals couldn’t be finished. No apology from staff about waiting times etc. which I understand as it was busy however was a bit of joke.

We visited it for coffee and light breakfast. The place is colourful with nice music. We waited for quite some time at the table and while they were watching us, no one came to order. Then we realized that we had to go to the counter ourselves to order. It would help if there was some informative sign on the table or something the entrance. Coffee was really really good. The bagel was tasty but it was disappointingly small. You can find out the size of the portion if you have a look at the photo with the bagel and the fork. When at some point I hinted at one of the waitress, she saw me and simply turned away. I got up myself and went to them. I politely told them "i would like to say that the bagel is too small for £9". One of the waitress just said "ok" and the second "no worries". A little later one of them came to our table and we thought she was going to tell us something, but she just came to take our plates. Since you want your customers to express their disappointment related to one of their dishes while being at the cafe (based on your replies to the other reviews), I don't understand your behaviour to me... It is disappointing. Sorry to say but it was the worst experience we had in Manchester... @@@@@ Edit after Management’s reply: Being well-intentioned and polite let me tell you -because it is the only way I behave- it's your team you spoke to, that seems to be trying to cover up my experience. Under no other circumstances would I have been going through this process but I am truly OFFENDED by everything I read. So let me present once again the facts the way happened: Never and no one informed us about the self-service! We were never greeted by a person at the entrance! Never! Walking in and until our order came, there was no reason to misbehave toward the staff. We were taking pictures of the place having a very good mood. I never interrupted the waitress while she was serving someone else! I went to the counter myself because she was ignoring our signals and insisted talking to the other waitress. We never saw the SLIGHTEST willingness to find a solution! Neither when I commented on the portion size nor when they came to our table to collect the dishes. I have a huge experience working in Customer Service in a big company and I would never misbehave towards any staff member. You are presenting me like a person I am not. Fortunately I had a second person with me, who was also shocked by the whole handling but above all by your reply. If you have a security camera, you may check the way things happened and you will confirm that I am telling the truth!!! And I am not writing all this to you with anger, but with great disappointment.

Visited around 11am with multiple tables free. We ordered at the bar and then sat at our table awaiting our food. An hour later our food had still not arrived so my friend asked a passing waitress what the wait on food was. She told us that food was still around a 45 minute wait despite not being told that at the bar. After around 1hr and 10 minutes after ordering 1 of 3 orders arrived. 10 minutes later and after 1 friend had finished their food I went back to the bar and asked where the other two meals were. The waitress explained she’d just been in the kitchen and our order was next. I sat back down however 2 other tables orders were brought out. I went to the bar a second time to explain our food had still not arrived now around 1 hour 20mins after ordering. The waitress replied what do you want me to do? No apology or explanation to where our food was. I explained I’d like a refund, my friend said she’d like her food if it was going to be soon as she was starving. The waitress cancelled my order and gave me a refund, but also refunded my friend still giving her her meal. Very poor service and rude staff.

This place was absolutely terrible. Went in for breakfast and didn’t get any food for over an hour after taking our order. They lied and told us it was coming when it hadn’t even been cooked. They still charged us for coffee when they offered us a refund. I cannot recommend people avoiding this place more.

Went here with my friend the other day ended up going on TikTok and looking at coffee places in Manchester and checked the menu out online and for prices in Manchester they are very decent not overpriced, The staff where all lovely and so kind to us when we got the coffee they where amazing good milk textures and had the cute little art the food was amazing as well genuinely worth every penny , it was a lovely atmosphere and once again all the staff where so kind !!

While the actual place is lovely and I'd probably go for a drink at some point, the food and service was not amazing. It was quite busy when we arrived at 12 so we expected a bit of a wait which is fine, although they didn't say anything about wait time. They were lovely when we ordered the food at the bar (a round of toast each and some drinks) but we sat and waited over an hour and then asked where our food was. They brought over toast (which was cold and not even toasted) which was swimming with butter which was not great. We were really looking forward to it and it would be fine if we'd ordered an actual full breakfast, but an hour for cold toast is not good. Also I think there should be a sign to say to wait for a table as we couldnt see anything so we just stood there awkwardly.

I absolutely love it here, the staff are always friendly helpful and good fun to chat too, the food is incredible and the new menu which was just launched is brilliant. I especially love that I can bring my dog here, it's super dog friendly and the staff are all more than happy to give the dog a fuss. I cannot recommend this place enough by far my favourite place in Manchester

Absolutely loved this place- went with friends for a breakfast and coffee chat- we all were able to get what we wanted (meat eaters and vegan in the party) - the coffee was delish and i had a hot oat latte, then went back for an iced latte. perfect both times. The rainbow paper straws are a nice treat. Overall, it felt like a safe and inclusive place to enjoy - relaxed atmosphere and lovely food- they even have some merch in the corner and a few of us had to buy some of the super cosy hoodies! :) will return ASAP! Things to note: +Very reasonable prices for middle of a city and local place +gender neutral toilets, plus disabled, clean and well maintained. +queer friendly +lovely affirmations to make you feel good, happy posters doted around +exciting indoor greenhouse seats around 8- best to reserve if poss for special occasion! +good disabled access, ramp entrance and lots of space between tables, plus seating outside.

Always a lovely experience when I pop into Feel Good Club. My friends and I were talking about how we just feel so comfortable and safe when we hang out there. The staff are really kind and attentive. Drinks are lovely! Lots of milk options as well as food. My only gripe is that this fabulous place is in Manchester and I live down south!!!

Went in with some friends for an evening drink. We ordered some cocktails and, straight after taking our order and serving our expensive drinks, the staff told us (impolitely) they were closing for an event immediately and that we had to leave. Disappointed with a usually nice place, didn’t feel particularly good.

Unfortunately not as good as it has been prior. Ordered a large order of drinks for a table of 5 and then 10 minutes later being told they are closing for an event and we needed to leave. No mention of this before and happy to take £50 for the drinks from the table before they told us this. Disappointing.

Unique menu, great brunch options, some plates look simple from the description but they are served to perfection. Zingy avocado toast and yummy mushroom toast. Nice staff, good vibes👍

I love coming here to do some work in a nice space outside of my home, hang out with my pals, go on dates or just treat myself to a nice hot drink. The matcha I had today was unbelievably good, my partner had a pink hot chocolate which I highly recommend. Also had a big breakfast which is served until 1pm which is a huge bonus. Love this place, would give 6 stars if I could

As someone that's on the large side and suffers with MH. I don't travel, but I went here from Middlesbrough on a recent visit to Manchester. What a place! I have never felt so welcome. No judgement looks from anyone, the people and dogs were amazing 😍. Would definitely visit again and again. If I lived nearer lol.

Been here once or twice but thought I’d leave a review because some of the bad reviews made me angry (you lose all validity if you try to be funny by saying “he/she/it”). I went with my sister and her daughter for the Derby Day outing, so we stopped in FGC beforehand to collect our tickets and get some breakfast. We were greeted by one of the owners Kiera, who is so friendly. I ordered the avocado toast which was a gorgeous start to the day and a great hangover cure. The atmosphere of Feel Good Club is always great. All staff are polite and approachable and always make me envious of how cool they are haha! I also have to say I can tell just from the derby day how much Kiera, Aimie and the rest of the FGC team care about making a fun and safe space. Everything went to plan swimmingly, everyone was friendly, coffee was delish! (Keep intending to pick up their house beans when I next visit!) Don’t be a w⚓️ and go into places expecting staff to bend over backwards just for you. The team there work incredibly hard and give a lot back to the local community with their open mic nights, donation tubs and their other fantastic events. Can’t vouch enough for FGC! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had eggs florentine a couple times. The first time it was really amazing and that’s why else retuned. Second time it wasn’t that great though unfortunately. It possible to see on the pictures I uploaded loaded that they also look quite different. For our taste the second time there was too much sauce and the egg was a bit too hard. Sauce looked a lighter yellow as well. Anyway it’s a great place for a brunch.

Popped in for breakfast loads of room. Service was friendly and polite. Food was o.k. (had full English) though £3+ for a CUP of tea was a bit extreme though... Not sure I'd head back but glad I'd visited.

Went for lunch on a Saturday. Ordered and was told after payment that food would be 35 minutes. Found that odd, but we had time to wait so we didn’t mind. After 45 minutes we asked about our food and the waitress was walking away as I spoke as if she knew what I was going to say. She checked on our food and said it’ll be 5/10 more minutes. 25 more minutes went by no food and no waitress would look in our direction. Got up and left without bothering asking for a refund as we knew it was going to be an issue. Terrible experience
