Food was ok but SO NOT WORTH the wait. We waited over 1h and 20minutes for a simple brunch order. The worst part was the staff was totally unbothered by our and other tables’ frustration and they were just casually hanging out together. They also seemed annoyed by everything we asked and did not even apologize for the long wait

The staff were very impolite and unprofessional. We waited for our food for over 1 hour while other tables who sat after us were being served before us.

The most wholesome brunch experience ever. The staff were so nice, warm and welcoming. The vibe was super relaxed and chilled even though it was busy. The food was super tasty and the coffee was amazing. We ended up coming back two days in a row and I'll definitely be back everytime I'm in Manchester! Also they had a message on the menu about not including calories which was so sweet and we really appreciated ❤️ Thank you!

We went in and waited at the front to be seated, as the sign requested. Staff passed us by 3 times, and were avoiding eye contact. We were ignored for 10 minutes before my partner decided just to sit down, at which point staff finally acknowledged us and gave us 1 menu for 4 people. There were plenty of empty seats and it wasn't especially busy so I just don't understand how this was acceptable. Anyway, we were then told to order at the bar. We ordered, and our coffees came in glasses without handles which meant they were too hot to hold for a while. But it was good coffee. I watched the table next to us wait 20 minutes for their coffee, though our coffees came within 5 minutes. We then waited for 40 minutes for food and we were not told there was any expected wait. The food came and it was warm, but not hot. I had eggs florentine and it was some of the sloppiest florentine I've had. The more I ate it the less I liked it, I honestly think I only liked it in the beginning because I was so hungry by this point. The hash browns were good though, and someone came round offering a free shot if beer. Honestly, I would give this place a miss. We were very close to asking for a refund and leaving. It's like they knew to deliver the food at the exact moment we were going to leave. At this point, sunk cost fallacy just meant we ate it as fast as possible so we could leave.

We were told to wait for seats then were left for 15 minutes with several empty tables, we seated ourselves as the staff ignored us. Upon ordering food and coffee we waited for 40 minutes to tepid and mid food. Rude service and overpriced food, dont bother

I have been to Feel Good Club a few times and have never had the best experience. This past weekend I went with friends, on arrival we were given no menus and weren't told how to order, we had to grab a menu from a couple sat next to us and worked out that you needed to order at the bar. When my drink arrived the server quietly said what the drink was and then without even giving us time to respond said "can someone just take this drink" in an aggressive manner, slammed it on the table and walked off. After 45 minutes of waiting for food we caught the attention of a different server to ask how long our food would be, they told us that waiting time was 1 hour, which we were never told on arrival, if we had been told this we would have gone somewhere else. It was actually 1 hour and 20 minutes before I got my food, and the rest of my groups food was served at different times even though we ordered together. It wasn't packed when we were at the cafe and the meals we ordered were very simple. It is definitely not worth the wait. Unfortunately the atmosphere was uninviting, which is a shame as this cafe is meant to promote positivity and be a welcoming space for all. It is safe to say that me and my friends did not leave feeling good.

Visiting Manchester this weekend and decided to try here for some food. When we arrived there was a small queue of about 10 people that moved quickly, when we got to the front we were told “all of our tables have just been filled right now” we asked how long the wait would be and she said “a long time, everyone’s just sat down”…. so everyone’s just sat down at the exact same time? THEN people left and they sat a table that was behind us in the queue. Beyond a joke, never even asked if we wanted to wait and have a coffee outside or anything.

Visited here today on our trip to Manchester from Scotland, we’re seated without menus or told how to order, my partner ordered the mac n cheese which was flavourless, over cooked and not warm. I had ordered the breakfast, which again was not warm, after a 40 minute wait for our food. Had asked for poached eggs and didn’t get them (received fried) and both meals couldn’t be finished. No apology from staff about waiting times etc. which I understand as it was busy however was a bit of joke.

Honestly a bit disappointed. I had wanted to try this place for ages and finally got some time to do so. When I did, it was very disorganised. I waited at the front in case I had to be seated (there was no sign I could see to say you had to wait but I don't want to assume) stood for a good five minutes trying to make eye contact with the waiters but nobody approached me, so I decided to go sit at one of the free tables available. Went to the bar area for a menu as there wasn't a food one on my table, only cocktails, decided what I wanted to order, and went up to the bar area with my menu in hand. There were four people behind the bar and not one of them decided to even acknowledge I was there. I got closer to the bar and said excuse me a couple times to get their attention to ask how it worked/if I could order there or if it was table service but suddenly they started chatting amongst themselves about something. Figured they were busy so went back to my table, tried to see if there was an app or something I could order from or something online about ordering, turn round send there's a huge line of people all waiting to order at the bar area, and just left because it was going to be ages before I got served at that rate. Not a single staff member acknowledged me the whole time I was there, and the two waiters seemed completely overwhelmed trying to get things to tables. Never done a review before but this just wasn't a great experience, sorry. I understand if times are busy but it takes two seconds to say - hi we are super busy, you can order here/somebody will take your order at your table/we have an app etc. More than happy to wait but had no clue what was going on.

We visited it for coffee and light breakfast. The place is colourful with nice music. We waited for quite some time at the table and while they were watching us, no one came to order. Then we realized that we had to go to the counter ourselves to order. It would help if there was some informative sign on the table or something the entrance. Coffee was really really good. The bagel was tasty but it was disappointingly small. You can find out the size of the portion if you have a look at the photo with the bagel and the fork. When at some point I hinted at one of the waitress, she saw me and simply turned away. I got up myself and went to them. I politely told them "i would like to say that the bagel is too small for £9". One of the waitress just said "ok" and the second "no worries". A little later one of them came to our table and we thought she was going to tell us something, but she just came to take our plates. Since you want your customers to express their disappointment related to one of their dishes while being at the cafe (based on your replies to the other reviews), I don't understand your behaviour to me... It is disappointing. Sorry to say but it was the worst experience we had in Manchester... @@@@@ Edit after Management’s reply: Being well-intentioned and polite let me tell you -because it is the only way I behave- it's your team you spoke to, that seems to be trying to cover up my experience. Under no other circumstances would I have been going through this process but I am truly OFFENDED by everything I read. So let me present once again the facts the way happened: Never and no one informed us about the self-service! We were never greeted by a person at the entrance! Never! Walking in and until our order came, there was no reason to misbehave toward the staff. We were taking pictures of the place having a very good mood. I never interrupted the waitress while she was serving someone else! I went to the counter myself because she was ignoring our signals and insisted talking to the other waitress. We never saw the SLIGHTEST willingness to find a solution! Neither when I commented on the portion size nor when they came to our table to collect the dishes. I have a huge experience working in Customer Service in a big company and I would never misbehave towards any staff member. You are presenting me like a person I am not. Fortunately I had a second person with me, who was also shocked by the whole handling but above all by your reply. If you have a security camera, you may check the way things happened and you will confirm that I am telling the truth!!! And I am not writing all this to you with anger, but with great disappointment.

Visited around 11am with multiple tables free. We ordered at the bar and then sat at our table awaiting our food. An hour later our food had still not arrived so my friend asked a passing waitress what the wait on food was. She told us that food was still around a 45 minute wait despite not being told that at the bar. After around 1hr and 10 minutes after ordering 1 of 3 orders arrived. 10 minutes later and after 1 friend had finished their food I went back to the bar and asked where the other two meals were. The waitress explained she’d just been in the kitchen and our order was next. I sat back down however 2 other tables orders were brought out. I went to the bar a second time to explain our food had still not arrived now around 1 hour 20mins after ordering. The waitress replied what do you want me to do? No apology or explanation to where our food was. I explained I’d like a refund, my friend said she’d like her food if it was going to be soon as she was starving. The waitress cancelled my order and gave me a refund, but also refunded my friend still giving her her meal. Very poor service and rude staff.

While the actual place is lovely and I'd probably go for a drink at some point, the food and service was not amazing. It was quite busy when we arrived at 12 so we expected a bit of a wait which is fine, although they didn't say anything about wait time. They were lovely when we ordered the food at the bar (a round of toast each and some drinks) but we sat and waited over an hour and then asked where our food was. They brought over toast (which was cold and not even toasted) which was swimming with butter which was not great. We were really looking forward to it and it would be fine if we'd ordered an actual full breakfast, but an hour for cold toast is not good. Also I think there should be a sign to say to wait for a table as we couldnt see anything so we just stood there awkwardly.

Absolutely loved this place- went with friends for a breakfast and coffee chat- we all were able to get what we wanted (meat eaters and vegan in the party) - the coffee was delish and i had a hot oat latte, then went back for an iced latte. perfect both times. The rainbow paper straws are a nice treat. Overall, it felt like a safe and inclusive place to enjoy - relaxed atmosphere and lovely food- they even have some merch in the corner and a few of us had to buy some of the super cosy hoodies! :) will return ASAP! Things to note: +Very reasonable prices for middle of a city and local place +gender neutral toilets, plus disabled, clean and well maintained. +queer friendly +lovely affirmations to make you feel good, happy posters doted around +exciting indoor greenhouse seats around 8- best to reserve if poss for special occasion! +good disabled access, ramp entrance and lots of space between tables, plus seating outside.

Been here once or twice but thought I’d leave a review because some of the bad reviews made me angry (you lose all validity if you try to be funny by saying “he/she/it”). I went with my sister and her daughter for the Derby Day outing, so we stopped in FGC beforehand to collect our tickets and get some breakfast. We were greeted by one of the owners Kiera, who is so friendly. I ordered the avocado toast which was a gorgeous start to the day and a great hangover cure. The atmosphere of Feel Good Club is always great. All staff are polite and approachable and always make me envious of how cool they are haha! I also have to say I can tell just from the derby day how much Kiera, Aimie and the rest of the FGC team care about making a fun and safe space. Everything went to plan swimmingly, everyone was friendly, coffee was delish! (Keep intending to pick up their house beans when I next visit!) Don’t be a w⚓️ and go into places expecting staff to bend over backwards just for you. The team there work incredibly hard and give a lot back to the local community with their open mic nights, donation tubs and their other fantastic events. Can’t vouch enough for FGC! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It possible to see on the pictures I uploaded loaded that they also look quite different. For our taste the second time there was too much sauce and the egg was a bit too hard. Sauce looked a lighter yellow as well. Anyway it’s a great place for a brunch.

We were not signposted how long the wait would be, had to chase up our food after 30min had passed, it took 40min in the end to get two fairly simple breakfast orders. Neither arrived exactly as described in the menu, however, the food itself wasn’t bad. While none of the staff were particularly warm, welcoming, or interactive, one member of staff wore a top which, with any slight movement, left their entire chest exposed. Both my partner and I are completely laid back and fully accepting - however, considering a couple with a child sat directly next to us, and several times we witnessed interactions where this person’s state of undress visibly made patrons uncomfortable, this was a bizarre and off-putting thing to intermittently witness while out for brunch. Would probably come back for takeaway cake and drinks, but not for sit-down service.

The food was tasty but on the menu the big breakfast came advertised with bacon, which when served it didn’t have. When we asked they said it was a typo and they could get some if we wanted, but with the wait for food by the time the bacon would arrive, no doubt we’d have finished our meal. If we could give more than 5 stars we would! Arles, our 21yr old had the best birthday breakfast party here! These people spend all their love and energy into making this a Feel Good cafe are not falling short of their motto. Arles had her dogs in for the celebrations.. we were allowed to decorate, and probs if we had gone even more to town on the decorations, it wouldn't have been a problem. We stuffed all the dogs into the Photo Booth too and Maisy the whippet seems to pose like a super model in all the shots ! barely a human in sight. I should mention the food. My business is in commercial photography which includes food, so I know a decent plate of food when I see it. Presentation is incredible and the chef knows their stuff. Cath and I have allergies, Mine GF and her a Rapeseed allergy. Both were handled in the most 'not a problem' way .. Honestly completely refreshing! We will be back.. We LOVE the ethos, live by it and will be back. THANK YOU!!!!! Emma, Cath, Casper, Arles and of course Eva and Maisy!!! x

I was really looking forward to spending some time at Feel Good Club. There online presence, and social media output it on point. It feels like a place that is going to be warm, welcoming, and memorable. Unfortunately. It didn’t live up to the hype. I entered and you are greeted by a host podium, with the instruction to wait to be seated. Pretty standard. The dining area was busy, plenty of diners and creative types working on their laptops. However, not only was there no one stationed at this podium, no one in the team was paying attention. Eventually I guessed I should just wander over to the bar, which two servers behind focused on their work. I made my order, had to choose a table to sit at, and made my way to said table. The table was not clean, it had been vacated not long before. As I wandered over to the table, I passed someone who must work in marketing making designs of menus… but no one was available to clean the table. During my stay, the table was not cleaned. I sat at the table, cracked out my laptop to check some emails, and settled in. However, I got stuck. Not because the emails were testing, but because the tables were almost super strong in their adhesive qualities. Literally everything stuck to the table. It was like a pub floor the morning after the night before. Not very pleasant for breakfast. The saving grace for this place was the food. A simple cooked breakfast, and one of the best I have eaten in a very long time. The sourdough toast was perfect, Grandaddies sausage (a fantastic pork producer) were cooked to perfection as were the eggs. However there was no interaction when the food was brought over, and no check back on the food. As I got up to leave, the team member who served me crossed my path, no more than 30cm in front of me. No recognition, no thank you, no good bye. This place could be so good if it lived up to its social media persona. Instead, it was a cold and forgettable experience. Not somewhere I would go again.

A work colleague recommended we meet here. Really enjoyed it and great to have such a nice, relaxed space also so central. Look forward to returning soon 😀

Unfortunately, was quite disappointed with both the service and the food :( We were not informed that food was going to take a while until after we ordered drinks, so: • Hot drinks were brought almost immediately, but it was more than 30 mins wait for the food; by then, the hot drinks were quite cold. • I missed my train and had to pay for an Uber in the end. • When the food arrived, the staff didn't apologise for the wait. About the food... in comparison to similar places in the area, the quantity and quality of the food was worse: less amount and not good taste. • The edges of the sourdough were completely burnt/black. • Baked beans way too soft and tasteless. • Scrambled tofu was spicy and tasteless (this was not mentioned and I have an intolerance to spicy food [nor were we asked about allergies or similar]). • Sourdough had so much margarine that its texture completely changed. And it was like eating a scoop of margarine. • Apple juice tasted way too artificial, really not enjoyable. Also, I think the overload of positive phrases (even on a full-body mirror literally in front of the toilet!) feel a bit like toxic positivity, especially when even the service doesn't make you feel valued as a customer. I've had another couple of bad-ish experiences here, regarding inaccurate closing time and customer service. Still, I wanted to give it another chance, but can't say I'll be coming back :(

We had the Mac n cheese on toast and the mushroom on toast and both were bland and pretty terrible for the price, and service was only ok. Compare that to a year ago when we would have said the opposite and liked coming here

It is fine. The food was very very slow to come this is a lunchtime no no...makes you stressed . I think it relys on customer base more than customer service.

What a wonderful place in the Manchester City Centre. Feel Good Cafe occupies a large corner plot on the Corner of Port and Hilton Streets. Relatively inconspicuous from the outside and with a straightforward, large, open, well-lit interior, Feel Good Cafe feels good as soon as you walk inside. There is an ambience that immediately embraces you, created by the background music and delicious aromas of coffee and food, but especially the warmth and friendliness of the attentive staff and the apparent chilled relaxation and undercurrent satisfaction of customers present. The food, very reasonably priced between £5.50 and £12, is breakfast cum all-day brunch oriented. A QR menu lists a variety of delectable egg, sourdough, muffin, pancake, bacon, sausage-vegan or ‘grandad’s-dishes. Numerous vegetables, from chilled spinach to succulent mushrooms, accompany meals or can be ordered as add-ons along with other sides. Famous Five-like, many dishes come with lashings of maple syrup or Hollandaise. However, it isn't just the well-portioned tasty fare and positively friendly staff who make customers feel good. Tables have daily affirmation notes on them (from the Affirmation Station stand, just behind the ‘You can still use it!’ nostalgia-prompting, pink neon signed, photo booth). Ours advised, “It is not my job to please everybody”. Good advice to customers but the opposite attitude of the attentive cafe staff! For those with dessert or alcoholic beverage predilections, these are available in scrumptious, and varieties of liquor-flavours, respectively. So, visit Feel Good Cafe for lashings of, well, good feelings-and tastes!

Staff are kind and friendly, the place itself is good with a welcoming atmosphere, well decorated and the photobooth, greenhouse, affirmation station etc are all nice touches so I would have recommended as somewhere to sit and enjoy a coffee. But at the end of the day it is a cafe serving food and so to have ordered “creamed mushrooms with garlic, fresh thyme + parsley served on sourdough” as per the menu and to receive what I did is unacceptable and disappointing. The picture says it all - no cream, no thyme, no parsley, no explanation or apology as to why the food being served is so vastly different to what is stated on the menu. Such a shame as is a nice setting but it’s wrong to be charging customers for food of this quality. Feels like the place is trying too much to do other things and needs to go back to basics of making sure what is on the menu matches what people are being served.

Coffee arrived stone cold. Then had to wait 45 mins for a piece of avocado on toast. After half an hour I reminded them I still hadn’t received my order.

Such a booji and hip coffee house which also serves food and alcohol. It really does have a lovely feel good vibe this place and that is why I like to come here. It’s right in the Northern Quarter and not too far from the train station or Afflecks palace. It also has a little shop as well to get some merch and events on at night

Unique space even in Manchester because it's equally for queer women and all genders (not men dominated like most of the village) . Great interior, great vibe and great events. Only complaint I'd the lack of toilets. They have two disabled toilets which is great but they need more for the size of the venue.

Nice staff and busy atmosphere (It was noisy, but the place itself is really nice). The food was atrocious. I ordered the vegan breakfast. The marg they use on the bread was foul, like how I imagine melted plastic to taste. The ‘sausages’ were rock hard and I could barely cut into them with my knife. The scrambled tofu was honestly disgusting, runny and weird tasting… it’s hard to make tofu taste bad given that it’s pretty tasteless to begin with, but they managed it, and *everything* was cold. I can’t believe I paid £11 for that.

I love Feel Good Club! It has great vibes and usually has seating/plug sockets available. The staff are all really lovely. Most importantly it is frequented by many dogs - one staff member even gave me a bubble blower to play with one of them and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I'm still working on getting Juno to love me though. If you're like me and tend to spend a lot of time working here I'd suggest tossing in a quid tip at the card reader on the counter.

Service was very slow. We had a table of 4 and there was a large gap between 2 of the plates coming out and the next 2, so much so they'd nearly finished their breakfast. Food was good though

So glad I found this accessible, LGBTQ+ inclusive and affirming space when Googling! Good food, good tea, good vibes and in such a cosy and welcoming space. Hoping to come more often (if only I lived closer!) as there seem to be many events going on as well quite frequently.

We came on Sunday at noon, for a party of 5. Almost 1 hour wait for the food that arrived undercooked and cold. One of the eggs also had an egg shell in it. We asked for the food to be cooked more and had to wait another 10 minutes or more each. Our smashed avocado bagels (that we expected to be the healthy option) came extremely greasy, to the point where the paper on the plate was soaked in grease. I asked for a refund for this £12 bagel (extra £3 for added vegan sausages) as not only had the food gone cold while I waited for the egg to be cooked through, the whole thing was covered in grease. All 5 of our orders had issues and we were completely dissatisfied. The staff members didn’t seem to care and had to be flagged down for us to ask for help. I also notice that the venue responds quite defensively to reviews on here. So just to clarify: we did let the server that took our order know that it was nothing personal. We were looking forward to the meal, were quite keen on the place and even used the photobooth as we wanted this to be a memorable experience. Sadly the experience was disappointing and ruined our outing. Overall, would not recommend. If you’re spending £16+ for a meal, you’re better off going somewhere that values your custom

I have been to Feel Good Club couple of times, however the services is getting worse each time I go. My friend and I went on Saturday and were asked to wait for 10 min (as I was few mins late), when I arrived, it seems like the person at reception gave the table away for other people who came after us (we ignored this issue as it wasn't major). When were sat down, the table was very run down and dirty. As we went ahead to order our food, which was great but it took 50 mins or maybe an hour to get the food. I understand that Saturdays and Sundays are busy day for the business, but I guess the owner should have more manpower to keep the standards of the business. I ordered Avacado on sourdough bread, which was literally presented like the chef didnt even bother putting some love whilst making it. It was very plane (previously the chefs added some pomegranate or some little touch to it). The tea mug was cracked! The staff was great in the other hand...

Feel Good Club in Manchester's Northern Quarters is a delightful spot for breakfast or brunch. They serve wonderful hot beverages and offer a delicious breakfast menu. The pet-friendly atmosphere, lush greenery, and a selection of merchandise make it an even more charming place to visit. We really enjoyed our breakfast and loved the vibes of this place. We are looking forward to coming back in the future.

Ordered a vegan meal and got chicken. There was no rush and yet such a blunder made by an Indian who was so disrespectful while serving as well. Arrogant employee ( just the one who served us)

Me and my partner been here many times for years but this time the ramen had little to no taste. Also the side of pork was chewy and dry normally it melts in your mouth. Was so disappointed because this was my birthday meal and one of my favourite places in manchester. Wasnt offerd any discount and was looked at clueless. I was suggested to have a replacement and it was pretty much the same. I feel kinda conned. I also noticed the microwave was pinging alot when we was in there which wasnt normal ethier... Time to look for a nice ramen place.

Disappointing evening. The service was good and atmosphere of the place was nice but the food was average at best. We had such high hopes as the menu reads like a dream but had to send back a couple of dishes for being undercooked. In my opinion it's overpriced for what we received
