It's rare to see any greek restaurants where I live so I wanted to try a new experience for myself whilst staying in Manchester for a couple of days. Myself and my partner enjoyed our meal which included octopus, lamb meatballs, chicken skewer and Mediterranean rice. Staff were friendly and would recommend this place.

Paco and Raluca were great hosts. Food excellent and great value. Nice atmosphere even at lunch time!

We booked a large table and the process of booking was easy and painless and the restaurant were very flexible with changes that we made. The food was pretty average and not as good as I expected. The service was quick and fine. Unfortunately we saw two mice in the Corn Exchange Building (we were sat outside in the main hall of the building) which was quite off putting but probably a fault of the building rather than the Real Greek however we had a very 'not bothered' response from one member of staff when we pointed this out to them. Another member of staff was more proactive.

Worst Greek food in Manchester and the worst Greek food chain, please avoid, soggy bland flatbread, chunks of dry cold and none seasoned meat, no seasoning on chips, chewy stringy calamari

A lovely experience here, prompt service which was appreciated as we were going to a show after. Our server Shoonki was a real character and asset to the restaurant. This place is highly recommended. The spinach pies and mousaka are very comparable to the ones I love in Chania.

Christina (our waitress) was amazing- funny, having all the right food recommendations and very patient with our group of 20 people. I had the Greek Wines Flight (STRONGLY RECOMMEND) and the Lamb meatballs which were to die for 🫶🏻

Dined here tonight with our 12 month old daughter, they couldn't have been more accommodating. Everyone interacted with her and she really enjoyed the moussaka and dolmades. They serve Greek beer on draft which I enjoyed and the red wine was so good we took a bottle to go! We had a selection of food which was delicious. Will definitely dine here again and would recommend. Thank you all so much 😊

I was hoping for a taste of authentic Greek cuisine. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfying. The prices were significantly high, no taste, no flavors.

First time and the last.went here tonight.not impressed.waitress was very curt and not very friendly.We ordered the 3 course dinner. They served the first course which was quite nice but then brought the main course a few minutes later.We asked them to take it back and give us time to eat the first course.When they brought it back it was not hot just warm and dry from being under a heat lamp or oven.Meatballs and chicken were very dry. Not good and won't be going again

BACHI As a general Greek Food enjoyer, The Real Greek ticks all the boxes for an enjoyable meal. Came here for lunch with friends and had a chicken souvlaki and Taramasalata/Spicy Pita dips. The food was great and the team ( Liza, Paco & Christina ) made the experience all the more enjoyable!

Although this restaurant advertises as dog friendly it isn't. We were told that we couldn't eat outside or in the atrium as it says on the Dog friendly Manchester list or on the Corn Exchange site. Apparently the Manager is aware of this.

What a fantastic gem! Dropped in for a light lunch on the £10 meal deal, which was superb. The quality of the food is fantastic, and the quality and professionalism of the staff matched that of the food! We will be returning when we are next in Manchester for sure. A note to Head Office: the team you have in place here are very special and a credit to your organisation!

in a way, i was transported, not just to Greece, but to heaven entirely. i was wined, dined, fined (bill); the olive of my eye, halloumi has graced my heart, and bachi gave us free ice cream.

We came after seeing the same restaurant in Liverpool, and took again the £10 lunch menue, but with different contents, and we again enjoyed the food. Service was also quick and staff was nice.

A bit disappointed as the lamb and chicken skewer is not available. The lamb meatball was alright with a bit more towards tougher for me. The chicken homastibaki is quite good though.

Very tasty, popped in for a late lunch and used the £10 set lunch menu which offered a nice variety. Service was great and we asked questions about the menu which were answered.

I initially underestimated this restaurant, thinking it would be too touristy, but I was pleasantly surprised! The ambiance was great, and the music really made my day, setting the perfect mood for a relaxed meal. The service was outstanding—Christina was absolutely amazing. She was so helpful, always smiling, and truly professional, making the experience even better. As for the food, it was a mix of hits and misses. The htipiti was fantastic, while the dolmades were just okay. The wrap was fine, but the portion of meat and potatoes left us wanting a bit more. On the sweeter side, the Greek coffee was nice, and the bougatsa was amazing. However, the portokalopita wasn’t really to our taste.

This Greek restaurant is located in a perfect spot in Exchange square. It has a large outdoor dining area which catches the sun. It has a fantastic atmosphere. I have been to this venue twice now and unfortunately both times the food was very underwhelming. On my first visit I chose from the lunch menu. I had a spicy feta dip with pita, which was quite nice. It needed a little extra seasoning but I enjoyed it. I’d ordered the SPINACH TIROPITAKIA and was very disappointed. They were fried parcels which I had not expected. There was grease from the fryer all over the plate as they hadn’t been drained properly (see pics). This really put me off and I didn’t eat them. They came with a bulger wheat dish which just tasted like tomato paste tbh. Didn’t even have any garnish on it. The server saw I had not eaten them but did not comment, did not ask if I’d enjoyed my meal. Just removed the plate. Tbf the rest of the service was lovely, very friendly. I decided to give them a second chance and came again. This time I had the halloumi souvlaki. While this was much better quality than my previous experience, it wasn’t very authentic. It was basically chopped tomato, fries and halloumi in a pita. No sauces, no other salad. I would have liked some tzatziki or hummus as I have experienced in other Greek restaurants. Overall the food is very cheap and boring. It lacks the vibrancy/colour that is usually present in Greek food. Ironic that they call themselves ‘The Real Greek’ when serving such pitiful offerings! I would recommend perhaps a small plate with a bottle of wine here but only because of the amazing location. However there are restaurants very close which are much better value for money

We had a lovely meal there. The food was pretty good, but what really made it special was the service by Ioanna. She was such a genuine smiley person, who knew about the food and the wine, but more importantly was interested in us as people and was willing to share her story. Rarely do we give waitresses a hug at the end of a meal but this was a wonderful lady who made the evening very special. Thanks. Sandra and Graham
