Wouldn't have known this place existed until we noticed the doorman outside and so glad we did coz this place is amazing, staff are really helpfull and very good at there jobs, while spending time to explain what goes into the cocktails, what the bartender makes it was such an amazing experience. thankyou to all the staff

One of my favourite bars in Manchester...

Don't let the dark alleyway deter you, it's a very good underground bar with a cave-like decor which reminded us of the Star Wars Cantina. The drinks are great, the pizzas are good, and the staff is friendly. Good atmosphere, too. The music did get very loud despite only being around 7pm on a Wednesday, so we left to continue our conversation elsewhere.

We went at 5pm to take advantage of the free drink-pizza offer, 3 cokes and 2 beers, 5 pizzas (small but discreet). Important! Children cannot stay in the room after 6pm! Pleasant aperitif.

Last time I was in here was 1983/4 looks just the same 40 yrs later, great to be back. Shame the original Jukebox had been replaced 😕

We love this bar, the staff are awesome, the jukebox has a fantastic range, the drinks are reasonable, and we got free pizza, what more can you ask for! It is Manchester's hidden gem.

Found a table with ease. Ordered drinks and the free pizza. You can choose any of the b board behind the bar when you spend £5. I chose the special and it was yummy. It made my second trip to corbieres even better than the first. Friendly staff and a good mix of customers.

This bar had been going for about 40 years years. Its a small cellar bar.

Free pizza with your beer, who can argue,music gets a bit loud but at least it's good music (jukebox) I'm just getting old and like to hear my friends rather than read their lips but it was worth it. Nice beer selection and not extortionate for town, especially when you throw in the pizza.

Staff were unhelpful One cocktail on a board above the bar and when asked to make an old fashioned they were quiet rude. Rats outside near the bins when we left

Free pizza with a drink over £5, how can you not love that!

happened to stumble across this bar while with a friend. corbieres is such a unique experience. one feels as though inside of a salt cave someplace warm, a rarity in manchester. for a bar with a back alley entrance and located in the basement, it was brimming with people singing along to retro songs (they have a jukebox!), enjoying their free pizzas and wacky cocktails. tuesday through friday, 4pm-8pm, they have a “spend £5 and get a free pizza” with toppings of your choice. we got 2 vegan pizzas - the margherita just tasted of nutritional yeast, but the garlic pizza redeemed them. the negroni shimmered in the dim red light and was so sweetly fragrant. the smiling, swift barstaff made the 40 minute wait for our pizza worth it

I have just discovered this place thank to social media and I wish I knew about it before! The staff is very friendly, the place is busy but it is easy to find a spot to have your drinks. When I heard you get a pizza with your drink, I wasn’t expecting much, but it actually was very good.

Went to find this hidden gem of a bar. It ws on a Saturday night, Manchester markets in full flow everywhere packed. Found the bar down an alley. The steps down are steep and narrow. The bar it's self is like a cave Nd was packed. Beer prices not to bad and quick service. Will have to go back when. It's a bit quieter.

Brilliant old fashioned Manchester pub, quirkiest pub in town, i would wager no other city has one like this, should be protected, effing great juke box, please go! See you there

Very pleasant and more low-key bar with a really nice atmosphere and customer service. They have a deal with drinks over 5£ that get you a decent sized pizza. There are also vegan options available.

Went there for the free pizza with a pint deal. Honestly the pizza quality was much better than expected. I had the pepperoni, Decent little pie with a good range and a pint for about £5. Get there nice and early to guarantee yourself a mid-afternoon/ early evening snack or dinner with a pint

Great Place, an iconic Manchester venue

This bar is a time warp. We came when it first opened back in about 1980 and it has not changed. Lots of artex giving it a "cave" feel. Cellar bar of St Anne's square. Albrecht ordered the one real ale, Wainwright. It was fine.

Called in last night for a drink, first time in years I won’t be coming back either. Not a great choice of beer so got a cider, flat with no taste took it back got a different pint tasted worse. More water than cider if you know what I mean!

Really nice bar, it's underground (literally) and has a funky old school juke box, we had a great time, it's a tad expensive but it's central Manchester so not unusual, will definitely be going back 👍

Great deal - for each alcoholic drink comes with a good size pizza with several options to choose from! Good music and atmosphere. Staff were friendly and polite, even if we waited half an hour for the pizza, it was worth it!

Worst kept secret in Manchester. True. Amazing little spot,a great place to have a relaxing drink and have a quick bite. I loved the happy hour special free pizza with your pint and the pizza tasted great.

We met Mancunian friends here on the basis that it was the undiscovered Manchester. If you want to step back into the 80's and see what bars were like, then this is your place. Dark, depressing, no decor, no furniture.. with only a jukebox to save the day.

Hugely overrated but somehow extremely popular. Underground so no signal, pricey, loud, and sometimes smelly. They pour a great Guinness though.
