Delicious full English. Lovely staff. Recommended. (I believe it’s now called “Black Door.”)

We booked this restaurant for 5 o'clock on a Friday evening. Been here many time before food and service always spot on and food this time was as taste as ever. Unfortunately the service was terrible From the minute we walk in we felt rushed after asking for 5 minute to pick a wine we were reminded that we only had the table till half 6 Which ofcourse I was already aware of because it's on the booking confirmation. We were given starters for the four of us And before we could start eating the children's mains were brought over The waitress apologised and took them back . When we received the wine to the table it was just put on the table no glass poured to sample didn't even take the time to open it . Then when taken the starters away the waitress dropped a knive on my son plate spraying tomato sauce over his top Which led to yet another apology . The whole experience has put me off ever going back. Shame because as I said the food was lovely .

The food is always good. The best chinese takeaway I've been to in Liverpool. Now 2024 and the Lemon Chicken with fried rice I had tonight was really lovely. Still the best over all the years. Just been again in Feb 2025 and the food is even better! The shredded chilli chicken is to die for!

Fui a 51 para San Valentín y fue fantástico. Tenían especiales de comida de San Valentín y cócteles también. Nos dieron el pollo de casarme y la coliflor Katsu del menú de ofertas y eran tan sabrosos, también tuvimos algunos trozos del menú normal y eran igual de agradables. Nuestra camarera era la gracia, ella era tan amable y servicial en darnos recomendaciones sobre qué probar y nada era demasiado problema para ella. La comida salió rápidamente y hubo un poco de espera en las bebidas, pero era comprensible ya que el restaurante estaba lleno. Sin duda volveremos de nuevo

First of all, love Danny’s. My family always opts for Danny’s, very reliable and very good when I have requests on order notes. Delivery efficiency is okay, I have only ever used delivery apps when getting Danny’s. 99% of the time their food is good quality and exactly what I need when I’m craving a chicken burger. Only thing I could critic on usually is the really small amount of sauce they put on your burgers. I usually have to add more from the fridge. But everything else is great. Love the fries that come with the burgers! However, yesterday my sister ordered Danny’s as I was craving it after having a hospital procedure which required me to fast, and unfortunately it didn’t hit the spot like it usually does. I don’t know if it was a one off but safe to say I was let down. I asked for salad and garlic mayo on my burger, I don’t think I received any garlic mayo and I had no lettuce, a little bit of cucumber and a tiny bit of tomato. The chicken burgers are usually lovely and crispy but they were quite soggy. I’m not sure if they were just having an off day as they are usually pretty good but it was a let down for sure. This experience won’t stop me from going to Danny’s again. Hopefully it was just a one off because I definitely recommend this food place for a good chicken burger!

Our family have been going to Ktams since I was a young child. I'm 37 this year. The staff have always been amazing, great service and atmosphere, always the same smiley faces. Tonight I went back, different faces behind the counter, the young lad was ordering the staff around so rudely and in front of a busy shop. It was uncomfortable, the girls where only trying to help as it was so busy. The food was really good but for his attitude alone I probably wouldn't go back. Such a shame for such a good chippy!

Went here with my fiancee a week ago and ordered hunters chicken which was raw so sent it back to get refund for just my meal but I feel whole meal should have been refunded as I could have gotten ill

We ordered salt and pepper chicken and literally couldn’t eat it for how spicy it was! Eat 2 pieces and my lips, tongue and mouth were on fire!!! I like spice but that was on a different scale!

Great place to watch the match. Friendly and comfortable. Would recommend.

Can you please start delivering in l6 area had food off you once your now are new favourite chippy spot on I will give you at least 5 pound tip everytime

Lovely place, great atmosphere in the pub, everyone is welcome. Whilst I was there, there were a mixture of people from young families having Sunday Roasts to young lads playing pool to people just having a pint after a walk with their dog. Ben who was the manager working was brilliant, very friendly and a good laugh. Food was amazing too and a good selection at a decent price.

Food now says delivered but still not arrived? Man on phone very rude !

Food was vile, we thought we'd give this place a 2nd chance but food was worse than the last time! Ordered salt and pepper noodle box, a box of noodles arrived with cheap like frozen chicken strips in, (100% not fresh, all uniform in shape and size too) 1 spoon of soggy veg, probably frozen, none of it was fresh, would not order again!
