Danny's in Liverpool

Food arrived stone cold, pizza dry, cold chips and kebab dry with barely any sauce even though a note had been left for the takeaways asking for plenty of sauce. Advertisement of ‘spend £25 to get free garlic bread’ therefore didn’t add to the order yet we didn’t receive this. All in all very poor quality this takeaway used to be lovely once upon a time, unfortunately not the case anymore as it’s not the first time we’ve had issues. Certainly won’t be going back there again.

Sorry to say this but the pizza I got was the worst pizza I've ever tasted. There was a sweetness to it, but no flavour in the spicy meat or the pepperoni. I didn't even finish the first slice. The whole thing was put in the bin. The jalapenos filled with cream cheese, were round balls not jalapenos with a bland cream cheese filling. The tahini sauce was definitely not tahini but a mayonnaise with a little garlic. They delivered on time but the food was abysmal.

It was missing items, so then had to wait another 20mins for them to bring them back

Always deliver really quickly and food is actually hot. Never had to complain about anything when I have ordered from here 🌟

Chicken kebab meal very nice, food arrived hot and fresh. Delivery said up to 40 mins, arrived in about 20 mins which was great. Not tried any thing else on the menu but would recommend.

normally 10/10 but unfortunately tonight was an epic let down. house kebab came with so much un asked for sauce which was not nice and made the meal inedible.

asked for no salad or sauce in the wrap it came covered iin that much nasty red sauce that it had turned the wrap to complete mush and as for the ice cold dry donor meat that went straight in the bin with the wrap chips were cold as well absolute waste of money should of gone half's with the dog on the last time of chappie

Always order from here the large special kebab is gorgeous marinated lamb and marinated chicken is absolutely amazing soft and loads of flavour. Best kebab place around 100%

Have always loved our pizzas from Danny’s but today- far too much red onion on both of them and not enough of the tuna on 1 of them , the onions totally over powered the pizza cos of how much had been put on both of them

After reading about this place being named in an article as being one of the cleanest takeaways in Liverpool, I knew I had to check it out. All of the food we got was really good, couldn’t fault it. Service was brilliant. Will definitely be coming back here again

First of all, love Danny’s. My family always opts for Danny’s, very reliable and very good when I have requests on order notes. Delivery efficiency is okay, I have only ever used delivery apps when getting Danny’s. 99% of the time their food is good quality and exactly what I need when I’m craving a chicken burger. Only thing I could critic on usually is the really small amount of sauce they put on your burgers. I usually have to add more from the fridge. But everything else is great. Love the fries that come with the burgers! However, yesterday my sister ordered Danny’s as I was craving it after having a hospital procedure which required me to fast, and unfortunately it didn’t hit the spot like it usually does. I don’t know if it was a one off but safe to say I was let down. I asked for salad and garlic mayo on my burger, I don’t think I received any garlic mayo and I had no lettuce, a little bit of cucumber and a tiny bit of tomato. The chicken burgers are usually lovely and crispy but they were quite soggy. I’m not sure if they were just having an off day as they are usually pretty good but it was a let down for sure. This experience won’t stop me from going to Danny’s again. Hopefully it was just a one off because I definitely recommend this food place for a good chicken burger!

Lovely pizzas. Spicy beef could do with more spice, couldn’t really taste it and the ‘homemade’ (?) coleslaw was very watery. Would recommend though - fast service, hot & tasty.

Danny's Special Kebab was even more delightful today, with the shish being exceptionally tender.

Food was lovely but I ordered a mixed donner and chicken kebab because I just felt like some donner meat but chickens my fave so I thought I would order a mixed so I get both but when I opened it, there was only chicken and no donner meat so that was disappointing. I didn't ring up because I was hungry and didn't want to wait around so just ate what was there which was really tasty

Lovely pizza and garlic bread first time ordering from there and it was so good.

All looks wonderful but bit disappointed we didnt get the free garlic bread for spend over £25 as spent £48 and did leave a note to remind..

My burger ended up in the bin. I could not find a single reason to eat it. The bun was try and falling apart, meat cold and the “salad” was literally quarters of onion (nobody bothered to chop it properly) and the ends of salad (not eatable). Donner meat - cold. Chicken meal (£10 one) missing 3 nuggets. The other chicken meal missing one chicken strip. Usually the food is great, but this time it was absolutely horrible.

Ordered at 17.15 and was due to arrive 17.50 to 18.10. Checked my order at 18.20 and it said it was already delivered?! Called the restaurant and told me it would be another 10 mins. Arrived at 18.35, barely warm and not very nice. Never again!

Food was late, practically cold and tasted awful. The pizza left a horrible after taste. I binned half of it and the chips. I was not impressed that my cheesecake arrived in the same bag as my chips. When I went to eat my cheesecake it was frozen. This shows how cold my food was as it had no effect on defrosting the cheesecake. I will never waste my money there again

Worst experience! Food over an hour late and wouldnt answer the shop phone! Had no idea if the food was coming or not. Then eventually when it did arrive everything was warm verging on being cold. So disappointed and angry, didnt even give us any freebies to apologise, didnt actually apologise! Only thing positive was the garlic bread - that was actually lovely even though warm. Wont be back though.

Waited and waited for order to get a message to say food was delayed and then app said enjoy your food,I would have maybe if i actually had it delivered. Joke

Ordered at 18:30. Food arrived at 20:50 and it was cold. I tried calling a number of times for an update, but I presume they just ignored the phone.

Driver went to wrong address 1st time round and went back to same place 2nd time round to the point I had to leave my house to go find him in a different close and retrieve my food which ended up being cold when I got in.

Terrible food never again from Danny’s .

The meat on kebab was not edible you could not even chew the shish and the chicken was black and dry donnor meat the pitta bread you couldn’t even bite into it was that hard!!!

Portion size was small itwas a family meal deal it used to be alot bigger in size. Also although price has remained the same the quality of the food is different and does not taste as good / fresh. Disapointed as it was one of our familys favourites.

Fantastic chicken and doner kebab. The meat was well cooked, flavourful and a generous portion. The cheesy chips could have done with a bit more cheese, but that’s my only complaint!

Ordered kebab meal But the Meat the salad and the pita bread all came separate I had to make the kebab myself So simple takeaway became I had to make it myself not what ad ordered I will not order again

Amazing experience. I accidentally sent a refund request. Due to me ordering multiple pizzas from different restaurants and one didn’t arrive but I selected the wrong restaurant .

Ordered from here yesterday on justeat, i ordered spicy chicken winds which want spicy at all, 4 lots of fries, a 12inch margarita pizza and a tray of salad, the food came freezing cold, the salad was old and everything had a taste of disinfectant, I rang the restaurant and explained the situation their reply was I'd send you another pizza i stated I didn't want another pizza and that I'd like the food collected and I'd like a refund, the man told me I'd have to contact justeat for a refund! I done this straight away to which justeat has stated I needed to send photo evidence in order to get a refund i replied to just eat stating i didn't think to take pictures because a picture can't show food being cold and having a taste of disinfectant to which they replied i can't have a refund! I am absolutely fuming as I'd spent over £26 on food that wasn't edible and I wasn't going to allow my children to eat food that tasted like disinfectant! I'd not want my kids getting sick! I will never ever order from this place ever again and I won't be using justeat ever again either!!!

Lovely food as always - the kebabs are sooo good. Had to drop stars though as we were missing an item off our order and had to ring up. It did come about 20 minutes later and was hot but always disappointing that youve already eaten the rest by then so it doesnt go cold.

Awful! I’ve always had good kebab here but was shocked. Had to play hunt the shish, the diner was inedible. Chicken barely. I asked for garlic sauce but I think it just got shown the bottle and the salad was in my opinion tired. SHOCKED, overpriced and shameful. What happened to you.

terrible food, we have ordered from here before and food has been ok, but this order was shocking all the meat was burnt, and well overcooked it was like it had been sitting there for a long time, and really salty, we threw the majority of food away as we couldn't eat it, we won't order from here again.
