Absolutely disgusting food don’t bother Peas like bullets. Steak dripping in blood. Sent back came out like a piece of rubber. Meanwhile chips went stone cold. Staff had a face on her when we complained and told us to leave a review. Here you go. Wouldn’t feed your food to my dog.

5 stars all round, only criticism I have is when the football is on, the sound should be turned down for the 15 minutes of adverts as its extremely loud when it’s adverts I’ve worked in bars all my life and I’m not a crank haha louder the better when the football is on but at half time half the pub was stood outside in the rain because it was too loud to sit inside

Went on a Thursday for the burger night only to find out there were only 4 burgers on the buy one get one free offer and the others were full price. Came on a cold bun with the smallest amount of salad. I won't be returning.

We had a fantastic meal from the new menu, which is great and has lot's of choice, the staff are always so friendly and happy to help. Paul is fabulous and always goes out of his way no matter what, Service with a smile always. Would highly recommend.

We have just been for a meal, my husband & myself, well what can I say 🤮 We ask for the gammon ( had none ) then asked for steak pie ( had none) so husband settled for scampi, which came out cold ,chips & peas were also cold. I ordered the spicy half chicken, rice ,sweetcorn & salad, chicken was so dry , ( microwaved) the rice was just mush 🤮 didn't attempt to touch the salad as it was all limp, as for the sweetcorn looked like it was yesterday's. We did complain to the server, who was really nice. We were offered a drink which we expected. But will not return here again.

We had a great time recently at the Jolly Miller, surprisingly the menu was as great and had loads of choice. Food was delivered fast and was really good for pub food. Paul the barman was very friendly and really went out of his way to look after us. Had a great time would highly recommend.

Food is beautiful. Especially the 7 hour rib of beef and the £24.99 sharing platters. Drinks are steep but the food is surely not pub grub....it is lovely. Compliments to the chef.

Only used the fast charges a couple of times no issues and full charge capacity

Can be a nice pub at times with the staff included. The food can be spot on and other times rushed and ruined because there too busy.

Good place to drink, good crowds on a weekend and friendly staff, nice outdoor seating for summer. The food isn’t good, ordered a platter when we went and it was mostly burnt and inedible. Would highest Recommend to eat before going.

Cant attest to the pubs amenities as i only used the EV charge point in the car park. Didnt give full marks as its accessability is poor.

Didn't wait too long for the food after doing table service. Once our food had arrived wow blown away totally enjoyed the Hunters Gammon Skillet and my Husband had Mixed Grill Skillet. Definitely be returning with our children

Lovely pub and great staff. Food was really nice, and staff were really helpful. It was a little busy when we went but we still got seen to quickly and were not waiting long for food. Our server was Carly and she was brilliant 👑

Pleasant atmosphere. It was very busy but we found a table. The toilets need a good clean because there was a lot of dirt behind the doors and it's very small considering the size of the place

Steak was so tough could not eat it and chicken nuggets where so greasy ordered a cocktail and was told they didnt have the ingredients, really disappointed.

Don’t normally leave reviews like this but the management need calling out for this, for the way they’ve treated customers and how they treated the staff on this particular issue. Made a big booking for Boxing Day which we had to pre order for, it was across a few families so we paid separately, per family. All was paid and we left. 2 days later, some of us went back for a drink and were pulled aside to say that two items that were ordered where not paid for on the day, (fair enough, just tell us and we’ll pay what we owed). But it what was said next that I’m leaving this review. We were told that our server had to pay the remaining bill out of his pocket! We offered to pay and were told no, so we found our server who confirmed he had paid, I was shocked and embarrased. We gave him his money back there and then. Firstly, this is bang out of order that he was made to do this, secondly, how embarrassing it was for us to be told that when all they had to do was call us to tell us some items haven’t been paid for and we would have came back to pay. Absolute disgrace to embarrass customers like that AND treat your staff that way making them pay for missed items. Couldn’t go back there now knowing that’s how staff are treated in there. I’m a manager myself and this is not how I would have handled this type of situation. If you don’t call us to come back and pay, write it off. Don’t make your staff pay for anyone’s staff or customers, honest mistake.

Usually a good place, checked in the pub day before Christmas eve if you were allowed to come in for a drink Christmas day, they said yes from 11am, went after 11am on Christmas and was told that they were actually bookings only, abit rude and the staff member who came out was abit aggro

Better staff than usual. Place didn't feel sticky or neglected which is good. Food when. It came tasted fine...but was the wrong order. Got a refund as someone else had already tucked into my order.

Went in today for food got couple of drinks staff ok decided against eating there due to DOGS at least 2 with diffent parties (not assistance dogs either) being ina restaurant!!! Barking aswell sort it out greene king

Stayed across the road. This is a great wee alternative for a drink. (Didn't have food but it looked very tasty). Staff were friendly.

Dropped in when passing, didn't expect too much but I have to say it was a great little find. The staff especially Paul were all great, from the minute we ordered the service was fantastic. Can't fault the place and Paul went out of his way to make sure we were well looked after.

This is a nice place to come with your mates if you want food and a couple of drinks there’s so much choice if you don’t want a main meal the chix mix is lovely and you get loads! The staff are friendly aswell we was served by a lovely fella called Paul you can tell he likes his job he was more then happy to recommend what to have. Will be coming back over the festive weeks 😊😊😊😊😊

We’ve just been here after a busy day Christmas shopping, the food was lovely and loads of choice if you can’t decide get a few little starters you won’t be disappointed we was served Paul, nice friendly fella chatty and polite 😁 we will definitely be coming back x

2nd visit in 4 years no change.

We were a group of pensioners who had booked in for the festive menu. The service and attitude of some of the staff was less than cheery. The food not that good and the dessert we didn't get what we ordered. It was a very disappointing festive meal and we wouldn't eat there again.

We went for a meal has our hotel restaurant was busy. Even though busy we managed to get a table. The menu had a great choice at reasonable prices. Service was good.and didn't have to wait long for our order.

Not very good carling wasn't very good

Threes across the board as its an OK pub. Have been there when it's very busy and there have been some very rude people about sadly that's spoiled the atmosphere. Bar staff are great when there's more than 1 working but service can be slow when there is just the one (which obviously isn't their fault). Never had the food however it seems to look nice enough when seeing meals come out for others.

Large suburban pub owned by Greene King. I would say it is predominantly food led although they have plenty of screens to watch sport and also a couple of pool tables. I was staying across the road and went in for lunch about 4 times. I gather they have live entertainment on certain nights but I didn't see any of that. Don't want to damn it with faint praise but the food is pretty standard pub fayre. Probably very similar to the GK pub by my house. It's not too expensive and it fills a hole in your belly. Couple of vegan options for me to choose from. A big selling point for me were the EV rapid chargers in the car park. They're operated by a company called Eyvie (so) and they worked faultlessly on the 3 occasions I needed them.

Re my prev review and response from owner. I have frequented the Jolly Miller for years as it is my local. It used to be a great pub I would take friends and family too but lately has been very hit and miss. I know menu was updated recently but consistency of meals such as mixed grill, fish and chips and steaks can differ greatly. I don't know if its due to staff turnarounds or shortages as I know hospitality has suffered greatly since covid. Bar staff are ok but had to make a complaint about beer being warm a couple of weeks ago. The male bar person didn't seem to take it too seriously until he tested with a thermometer and it was too warm. No apology was given which should have been offered immediately or certainly after it was tested. He did offer us alternative small bottle of beer which was cold but there was a price difference which we had to point out to him. He did give us a refund reluctantly. It's such a shame as it's generally a good pub especially sitting in the lovely South facing beer garden at the front with a cold beer. I hate giving negative reviews but hope this helps owner.

Went at Lunchtime 24/08 and had the chicken platter . Excellent value , piping hot and tasty . Food is really good value for money and there is plenty of it . Staff work hard are friendly and checked all was ok when they brought the food . Keep up the good work . Really enjoyed this lunch and we will be back

Booked a table online then I phoned the bar and reserved table 10, when I got there, there were 2 people at at this table, I went to the bar manager with the beard and he was extremely rude saying he knew nothing about this and he was on duty when I called, all he had to be was polite and apologise for the double booking, I bought food and left at half time, my family from New Zealand were not impressed with his attitude, no wonder it was empty when all other bars were packed

Visit here alot, good choice of drinks, food is good value especially the 2 for 12.99 deal,screens for sports, outside area for a drink in the sunshine if you're lucky, all in all an enjoyable experience.

Food was uncooked (raw peas), order was incorrect and missing items for group. Manager didn't apologise, delay, and missing items. Asked for a refund on missing items and had to wait over an hour for the manager to come down. No communication given just glances from the staff. Not a relaxing place to eat. Definitely more of a drinking pub not meals.

Not had foot there for a while but have to say the outside looks lovely. Until you get close .it's filhy .cigarette but everywhere. Table really dirty . Even used condoms on floor Shame 🫠

Had food here last night - ordered the Cajun half chicken with salad corn on the cob and rice. The chicken was plain dry grilled chicken with the Cajun rub which was just dry in a pile on the top of the plain chicken which fell off the chicken and felt like eating dust, it was just poured straight out of a spice jar (pretty sure Cajun rub involves seasoning the chicken before it’s cooked!), corn on the cob was mushy, there as a spoonful of rice but more black beans than rice. Salad was the only ok part! Also ordered a side of halloumi which didn’t taste particularly like halloumi and was barely cooked. Good atmosphere for a drink but wouldn’t eat here again 👎🏼

Absolute shambles. Waited nearly an hour for food and it was disgusting. Peas were old and fresh mixed together and the steak had a strange taste to it like it was out of date. Was offered desserts but couldn’t be bothered waiting an hour for them. Worst £75 ever spent!

I just stopped off for a little drink in the sunshine the other week when the sunny weather started to arrive. So I ordered a pint of lager and sat in the beer garden at the front of the Jolly miller and it was very pleasant. I have frequented the Jolly Miller on numerous occasions over the years and it's a nice little spot for a drink especially on a sunny afternoon.

Go there as much as possible love the place nice and quiet and very friendly staff good beer not a lot of kids 😀 😉 👍

Absolutely shambolic Specific reservation made for our family but you ran out of almost everything. My sister had do with a side of chips and bread and you even got that wrong.this was our first and most definitely the last.. we don't recommend anyone going out to here. Staff could not even stop the youngsters on their bikes coming in around the fire exit to watch the match..even stopping them smoking left half my meal just so we can leave Time 7.30pm at the rear of restaurant on Monday 01st May we were a party of five and where totally upset

Terrible service, sat down with wife and kids picked what we was ordering stood in queue to order only to be told they would not be serving for another hour due to a party of 20! No signs up to say this or inform you.

Staff unhelpful, had booked a table but they were oblivious. Food was poor, service slow. Pub is scruffy and needs a good clean. Gang of young lads with bikes standing in side doorway by ladies toilets, staff need to be on this as it isn't a good look. Positive, childs dessert was best thing about visit, good portion and enjoyed but overall poor experience. Wouldn't return for food but might go again for a drink.

We were in the area today, needed to charge the car so thought we would have a bite to eat. It was busy but the food was delivered very quickly, and was really good. The staff were friendly and a good atmosphere. Will head here again next time we are in town

I used to LOVE the jolly Miller but the food has gone downhill the past few months!!!! Lovely pub and lovely staff but the food is average

One of the worst meals we have had in a long time. My wife had fish which was horribly over cooked, the batter was a dark brown colour. The side salad was lettuce with what appeared to be a small amount of salsa. My daughter had a burger that was pathetic. A burger stuffed inside a bun that was over toasted and dry. A slice of cucumber and a cheese slice that was only half on the burger. A side of garlic bread of which one slice was burnt and I mean black. The tables were not very clean and the menu's very sticky and obviously not been wiped for days. The barman did not know anything about the beers he was serving. The poor lad had not been correctly trained. We will not return and won't go to any other Greene King pub either.

Enjoyed a nice couple of hours on Friday. Quick service and brilliant staff. Paul a proper star of the team at the Jolly.
