Lovely pub and atmosphere, great to sit in the garden on a sunny day. Carly was great throughout our visit and was so helpful and attentive

The girls who brought are food out carly and molly where really great really friendly and couldn't do enough for us the food was sound great deals would defo recommend to come for a casual pub meal

I ordered the mixed grill and it was cooked to perfection, the meat was tender and juicy, chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy in the inside and the fried egg topped meal. Amazing service from Ben, Carly, Paul, Tom and especially Mellie. Will definitely be coming again soon!!!

After checking website which advised food served until 9 pm arrived at 8.30 purchased drinks only to be told no food left

Stopped here for excellent food on the way to Anfield. Ordered a steak which was cooked perfectly, Tikka Tandoori which my mate ordered (pictured) look excellent too and the fish and chips was cooked very well also. Would definitely go again!

Popped in this afternoon for a few drinks and a bite to eat. Carly and Nelly were great behind the bar and very pleasant to deal with. Attended to our table, cleaning away efficiently and had time for a short chat which is always a nice touch to greet customers and ask how our day has been. Will 100% be back Thank you both

Another memorable trip to the Jolly Miller today. This time with the kids. Special shout out to Carly and Loraine who made them feel special from the minute they walked through the door, right up until we left. Food great as always and atmosphere was brilliant for a Friday lunch time. Can’t praise this place enough and love coming back whenever we get the chance. Top marks !!!

I ordered a steak flat bread with fries, absolutely loved it really tasty and the steak was cooked perfectly.. Very friendly staff, great food at a great price, we decided to visit instead of the Beefeater across the road, paid half the price and I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. If I stay at the premier inn again I'll definitely visit next time.

Lovely place, great atmosphere in the pub, everyone is welcome. Whilst I was there, there were a mixture of people from young families having Sunday Roasts to young lads playing pool to people just having a pint after a walk with their dog. Ben who was the manager working was brilliant, very friendly and a good laugh. Food was amazing too and a good selection at a decent price.

I brought my mum here for lunch and met her sisters for her birthday. The blond member of staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and even sang Happy Birthday with a complimentary piece of cake at the end. (Sorry I did not get her name but she was fab!) She was so lovely to everyone in the pub, very personable without being too intrusive. The place was spotless, food really good too. It came within about 15 minutes and was hot and great value. We had hunters chicken, flatbread, chicken and ribs. Such a lovely afternoon and 10/10. We would highly recommend and definitely go back again in future.

Just popped in for lunch with my husband. Lovely decor staff friendly menu had a great choice. We opted for chicken strips with chipshop curry sauce & chips. With a pot of tea each. Bargain price of just under £18. Highley recommend. Thanks

Great place. We stopped by here for lunch after visiting Anfield Stadium. Their Sunday roasts and fish & chips are great! Service was a bit slow but that’s quite typical in the UK I think but everyone’s friendly. Value for money definitely. Family friendly and cozy vibes! Cheap beers too :) I’ll come back if I’m ever in Liverpool!

Set in the backdrop of the bustle of west derby village is this beauty of a pub The place is indeed a oasis of tranquility in a solo environment but also buoyant in a social environment. No complaints with the food came quickly was hot and tasty (I recommend the beef rib)the staff who served us Carly was really pleasant and gave great service, would definitely come again.

We visited on a Saturday night so expected it to be busy. Lovely lady behind the bar served us and got us a table. She had great customer service as did all staff we encountered. Having ate here previously, I expected more from the food. The hunters chicken had one tiny strip of bacon. It was advertised as on a sizzling skillet with onions but came just on a plate without onions. Halloumi fries were rock hard. Chicken wings barely had any sauce. At no point during the meal did staff check in. Overall it was a good night and drinks were great as well as cheap but the food was a let down.

An hour wait for food witb poor amount of food for a child. Carrots as hard as bullets, raw vegetables, poor roast potatoes.

Turned up to our booking only to be told they wouldn't seat us because we never booked early enough? No warning or messages on the site and it let us book perfectly fine. Waste of taxi fare and the staff basically shrugged their shoulders and walked off. Probably won't come back here again, terrible service. Just don't allow bookings if you're not going to honour them.

All entrances are up steps, there is a ramp at side entrance for wheelchairs user's but you have to cross uneven flag stones to reach the door. The food is typical for a chain restaurant, Chicken, Steak, etc but does change depending the Season. Very limited choice if Gluten Free. Staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. The building sits at a junction of busy roads but you cannot hear traffic, inside it is spacious and well presented.

Haven’t been the jolly miller in years, so was unsure what to expect but I have to say the staff and food was lovely. I was unsure what to order so asked the staff, she recommended the flat bread with steak and others. The flat bread with the flame-grilled steak was gorgeous. Would definitely recommend here to friends in the future.

Was missing 2 portion of onions ring when asked for them was told yes they are there I was just bringing them out to you, saying this whilst walking away and serving another table.

Popped in for a quick drink. I waited at the bar to be served. Nobody to be seen. I walked all around the bar and guess what no staff. Eventually a barman arrived and served me. Beer expensive. A pint cost £6. On a previous visit when we had food we had to send it back for a refund. The steaks were awful. There are tvs and soccer paraphernalia everywhere here. Also pool tables. It appears that they try to attract a certain type of clientele that is not in keeping with their upmarket image and extortionate prices. Can't recommend.

One of the worst meals I’ve ever had in my life. The food was stale and cooked in a microwave. Everything tastes terrible. The only thing you should order in this place is beer.

Basic pub food, nice and open spaced, pool tables and tv with sports on. Tables were a little sticky, but food made up for it.

Carly Kate and Aimee, are the best ladies behind the bar I have ever met, the service is worth more than 5 stars but reviews don't allow that so I have to do 5 star.
