We had a great meal, the food was very tasty, service was pleasant and speedy. Mocktails are very tasty

Just popped in for lunch with my husband. Lovely decor staff friendly menu had a great choice. We opted for chicken strips with chipshop curry sauce & chips. With a pot of tea each. Bargain price of just under £18. Highley recommend. Thanks

Great place. We stopped by here for lunch after visiting Anfield Stadium. Their Sunday roasts and fish & chips are great! Service was a bit slow but that’s quite typical in the UK I think but everyone’s friendly. Value for money definitely. Family friendly and cozy vibes! Cheap beers too :) I’ll come back if I’m ever in Liverpool!

Just what you want from a family friendly pub

Incredible atmosphere and cheap prices especially because of the 10% off drinks during the match. This place is my local and I will always keep coming back. The food is amazing for greene king especially the burgers and fried chicken

Set in the backdrop of the bustle of west derby village is this beauty of a pub The place is indeed a oasis of tranquility in a solo environment but also buoyant in a social environment. An hour wait for food witb poor amount of food for a child. Carrots as hard as bullets, raw vegetables, poor roast potatoes.

We visited on a Saturday night so expected it to be busy. Lovely lady behind the bar served us and got us a table. She had great customer service as did all staff we encountered. Having ate here previously, I expected more from the food. The hunters chicken had one tiny strip of bacon. It was advertised as on a sizzling skillet with onions but came just on a plate without onions. Halloumi fries were rock hard. Chicken wings barely had any sauce. At no point during the meal did staff check in. Overall it was a good night and drinks were great as well as cheap but the food was a let down.

I took my daughter and grandchildren for lunch and the food was excellent staff was very helpful and nothing was to much trouble for them Nice clean pub I would be visiting again

Turned up to our booking only to be told they wouldn't seat us because we never booked early enough? No warning or messages on the site and it let us book perfectly fine. Waste of taxi fare and the staff basically shrugged their shoulders and walked off. Probably won't come back here again, terrible service. Just don't allow bookings if you're not going to honour them.

Food was awful came to watch the football and have some food the main meal was awful so I ordered some cheese garlic bread which was equally awful never again.......... awful sorry!

All entrances are up steps, there is a ramp at side entrance for wheelchairs user's but you have to cross uneven flag stones to reach the door. The food is typical for a chain restaurant, Chicken, Steak, etc but does change depending the Season. Very limited choice if Gluten Free. Staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. The building sits at a junction of busy roads but you cannot hear traffic, inside it is spacious and well presented.

I went with a friend to the Jolly Miller for lunch today & we were both impressed. The food was very good & service was excellent.Surroundings were pleasant.We would definitely recommend this pub & look forward to going again.

Was missing 2 portion of onions ring when asked for them was told yes they are there I was just bringing them out to you, saying this whilst walking away and serving another table.

Haven’t been the jolly miller in years, so was unsure what to expect but I have to say the staff and food was lovely. I was unsure what to order so asked the staff, she recommended the flat bread with steak and others. The flat bread with the flame-grilled steak was gorgeous. Would definitely recommend here to friends in the future.

Always come here for a catch up with friends food never disappoints always a full belly 😁 and place is always good atmosphere even when the football on.

We went to the Jolly Miller for a surprise birthday meal for our niece. Customer service was great, really enjoyed the food. Food arrived quickly. Definitely would return.

Popped in for a quick drink. I waited at the bar to be served. Nobody to be seen. I walked all around the bar and guess what no staff. Eventually a barman arrived and served me. Beer expensive. A pint cost £6. On a previous visit when we had food we had to send it back for a refund. The steaks were awful. There are tvs and soccer paraphernalia everywhere here. Also pool tables. It appears that they try to attract a certain type of clientele that is not in keeping with their upmarket image and extortionate prices. Can't recommend.

One of the worst meals I’ve ever had in my life. The food was stale and cooked in a microwave. Everything tastes terrible. The only thing you should order in this place is beer.

Basic pub food, nice and open spaced, pool tables and tv with sports on. Tables were a little sticky, but food made up for it.

They had no biscoff cheesecakes

Large portions. Had a burger but did come a little raw in the middle. Busy around 4pm but didn't need to book. Friendly at the bar.

Carly Kate and Aimee, are the best ladies behind the bar I have ever met, the service is worth more than 5 stars but reviews don't allow that so I have to do 5 star. Lovely friendly staff, nice relaxing atmosphere, plenty of space and seating, pool table(with card machine so no excuse if you forget your coins!). Really good experience, ordered two steaks - I like mine basically mooing and wasn’t over cooked.

Originally had a table booked at the premier inn for dinner which would’ve been ideal as our accommodation was booked there. However wasn’t viewing the football. The plan was only to visit for a beer then had back to the hotel for dinner , but the lady behind the bar spoke very fondly of the food which they provided. And I don’t blame her, the food was great. Very comforting . However need mushrooms on the menu!!!

The new menu at the Jolly Miller makes a big difference! We stopped for some food and drink and Carly was brilliant. Recommended some of her favourite dishes, which were a winner and helped us get a table when the euros were on. Went above and beyond. We've been here in the past but will be more frequent visitors now.

Great location and friendly staff

Popped in for a quick drink and bite to eat. Menu was great, laid out well and plenty of choices. More than pleased with the cleanliness of the place, staff were fab and very helpful. Overall great experience, will definitely be back soon.

A large cafe with a large beer garden behind the building.. Simply an excellent place to drink and eat, very extensive menu. Enough screens to follow the matches. Furthermore, excellent service.

Absolutely disgusting, how can you have people working the bar who have a terrible attitude is beyond me, waited while they served other people who weren't waiting longer then us. Also got shouted at over a table number ! Think the best place for the fella is in the kitchen. Also it's 70p each for a garlic mushroom because you get 5 for 5.19

Made a reservation but no table was available, they all had reserved on them evet though the pub was quite empty. We got a table in the bar side but it was next to the toilet and the smell was absolutely disgusting. We then moved to a table which became vacant. The wait for food was 40 minutes as they only had one person in the kitchen. Bank holiday weekend but no staff. When the food arrived it was awful, cold hard veg a bullet of stuffing and two slices of the worst beef I've ever tried to cut up, it was not edible. The gravy came out as congealed slop.i could go on a lot more but I think it's very clear... don't eat here. Staff tried to do their best but they were up against it. Definitely 0 stars

A nice pub with plenty of TVs for sport & a pool table. The staff are really great! Professional, attentive & always with a smile! The menu is great! One small gripe I had though was I ordered a side of Scampi with my main, but my side consisted of 4 pieces of small scampi. Four? In Weatherspoons a side of scampi is around 8-10 pieces. This was a little disappointing. Hopefully that was a mistake & next time I'll get a larger side, as i will definitely be coming back.

Absolutely disgusting food don’t bother Peas like bullets. Steak dripping in blood. Sent back came out like a piece of rubber. Meanwhile chips went stone cold. Staff had a face on her when we complained and told us to leave a review. Here you go. Wouldn’t feed your food to my dog.

5 stars all round, only criticism I have is when the football is on, the sound should be turned down for the 15 minutes of adverts as its extremely loud when it’s adverts I’ve worked in bars all my life and I’m not a crank haha louder the better when the football is on but at half time half the pub was stood outside in the rain because it was too loud to sit inside

Went on a Thursday for the burger night only to find out there were only 4 burgers on the buy one get one free offer and the others were full price. Came on a cold bun with the smallest amount of salad. I won't be returning.

We have just been for a meal, my husband & myself, well what can I say 🤮 We ask for the gammon ( had none ) then asked for steak pie ( had none) so husband settled for scampi, which came out cold ,chips & peas were also cold. I ordered the spicy half chicken, rice ,sweetcorn & salad, chicken was so dry , ( microwaved) the rice was just mush 🤮 didn't attempt to touch the salad as it was all limp, as for the sweetcorn looked like it was yesterday's. We did complain to the server, who was really nice. We were offered a drink which we expected. But will not return here again.

Food is beautiful. Especially the 7 hour rib of beef and the £24.99 sharing platters. Drinks are steep but the food is surely not pub grub....it is lovely. Compliments to the chef.
