Rude arrogant staff ...spoilt my daughters birthday celebrations as there was miscommunication when booked about whether everyone had to eat or not. Staff whispering behind the bar and extremely rude when speaking to the party. Will definitely advise people to steer clear..just no need to be like that with people.

This is hands down the best Chinese restaurant in the area! I've tried both dining in and takeaway, and loved both experiences. The portions are quite generous, so it’s perfect for sharing with friends, or you can grab a takeaway box and enjoy the leftovers later. The flavors are authentic and delicious—approved by my Asian taste buds!

Went to have a coffee so I could have a rest before “hitting” Primark, There were 4 members of staff all stood behind the counter, totally ignored at first as we seemed to be interrupting their conversation, the young man who begrudgingly served us whilst totally uninterested in us or our order! Asked for a coffee and tea, all the time he was still concentrating on his mates behind, we asked for a doughnut, I wasn’t sure if he had heard me or not? It he did throw the doughnut in the bag as most of the topping ended up stuck to the bag! It was really quiet about half a dozen customers as most (including us) nearly every table was dirty, we did find a cleanish one, surprisingly the staff weren’t at all bothered about customers or the place as after he flung the change at my partner he just turned his back to us and continued chatting?? Wasn’t bothered about cleaning the mostly dirty tables as my the time we found a table the two lads were to busy on the one who (I’ll be polite and say) served us phone. It was obviously more important and interesting than any potential customers or all the dirty tables. I didn’t manage to get a picture of the four of them as we were looking for a clean table, but managed to photograph the two lads still engrossed in his phone and their conversation! We love Greggs but this is the worst place we’ve ever been in (Greggs or anywhere actually) Wouldn’t recommend anyone use this one, well unless you want rude/non existent customers service and a dirty table to sit at!

My favourite restaurant in the UK so far, because it makes me feel home. Very humble but friendly staff, reasonable price, delicious Chinese local food, running by a young couple and their parents(I guess), and they work hard. Which is very different than other Chinese restaurants: agressive and arrogant staff (particularly in some Hongkong restaurants in London); highly charged dishes ( I remember one dish of green vegetables can be £13-15 !!! Wth! ) ; adapted taste for local customers, etc. I highly recommend the Sichuan pepper fried beef with tofu and potatoes, 干锅牛肉, 麻香油辣,梦飞祖国…! prepared by the Chef, I heard him shouting from the kitchen: “the dish is ready!” At the end, if you are looking for a Michelin level restaurant, here might not be the best place for you.

Absolutely awful experience. Food was sent back multiple times it was just awful. Staff were so up the wall trying to do a million things at once. It's advertises that kids eat for £1 on a Sunday but that wasn't the case they payed full price. Waited about hour and a half before we eat. Honestly awful. Avoid.

This is a very cosy little bar on Castle street. I believe it used to be a pharmacy for many years and they took over the name with little links in the display window to its previous history. It's mainly cocktails and wine with a small selection of beers. There's comfortable seating inside and outside seating for when the weather's a bit better.

So this evening I went to order for a plain white cake for my frnds birthday and the two ladies in the front counter were so rude and arrogant that they straight up said no for taking the order. They were so dumb they said they take order for coloured cakes but not white or plain cake I've ordered with them previously but never experienced such rude behaviour . Don't know whats wrong with their staff they need to teach them some manners . They don't have basic etiquettes to deal with the customer. Straight up denying on customers face is so rude . I ask them for different cakes but they said no for everything. Never thought that I would ever have to write so bad review about duman but please you need to have some good staff or else they will eat up your business because they're mannerless

My twin brother and I were pub hopping around this part of the city when we decided to drop into The Hatch, been here before, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. I like the look of this bar, interior is superb, exposed brickwork, eclectic decor and furnishings, big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Slater Street. We were here on a Thursday afternoon, we got a beer each from Carling Brewery, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and as it was happy hour only £2.50p a pint, great value for money indeed in Liverpool City Centre, we chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our beers. My beer was really good, it's a golden, light and hoppy lager style beer bursting with taste and very easy to drink especially when served freezing cold as in this bar, it was just so good being in such a lovely bar enjoying a cold beer sat with my twin brother, best beer companion in the world. We both really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to The Hatch we had a great time. The Hatch is easy to locate along Slater Street, a street famous for its great pubs and bar. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, 3pm till 2am. Friday to Sunday, midday till 4am. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.
