Greggs in Liverpool

Went to have a coffee so I could have a rest before “hitting” Primark, There were 4 members of staff all stood behind the counter, totally ignored at first as we seemed to be interrupting their conversation, the young man who begrudgingly served us whilst totally uninterested in us or our order! Asked for a coffee and tea, all the time he was still concentrating on his mates behind, we asked for a doughnut, I wasn’t sure if he had heard me or not? It he did throw the doughnut in the bag as most of the topping ended up stuck to the bag! It was really quiet about half a dozen customers as most (including us) nearly every table was dirty, we did find a cleanish one, surprisingly the staff weren’t at all bothered about customers or the place as after he flung the change at my partner he just turned his back to us and continued chatting?? Wasn’t bothered about cleaning the mostly dirty tables as my the time we found a table the two lads were to busy on the one who (I’ll be polite and say) served us phone. It was obviously more important and interesting than any potential customers or all the dirty tables. I didn’t manage to get a picture of the four of them as we were looking for a clean table, but managed to photograph the two lads still engrossed in his phone and their conversation! We love Greggs but this is the worst place we’ve ever been in (Greggs or anywhere actually) Wouldn’t recommend anyone use this one, well unless you want rude/non existent customers service and a dirty table to sit at!

Great place to eat and drink can get busy and messy as all greggsvdovbut i go early and it quiet i get apple/cinnamon porridge £3.45 bargain ☆☆☆☆☆

I went into Greggs in Primark last night (15/7/24). I was exhausted and in pain from Arthritis and dismayed to find the seating area closed. I told the young guy serving that I needed to sit down and expected a jobsworth's reply. Instead, he immediately came out from behind the counter to find me a seat and then poured me a cup of tea. I was touched by this act of kindness. Both young guys were respectful and kind. They are a credit to Greggs. Thank you from a grateful 70 year old.

Absolutelly do not understand, why do ypu guys charge ppl for sit in, as it is primark 2floor ?? I tought it was made for ppl who shops in Primark to have a coffe while shoping ??? Or do we just have to left our baskets and go outside to drink the coffee so we are not charged extra for sits in??? Are u serious ?? Instead of 2.80 I pay 3.80 ! This need to be sorted !

I've never been here before but I decided to give it a go as I was already in Primark. Happy with the service I received and my cup of tea and doughnut were both spot on

The donuts were tasty but thrown in to their bags so lost some of the top stuck to the paper. Greggs only had Soy as a dairy alternative which was disappointing. It tasted like a very warm coffee though, so this was a let down. The staff behind the till didn’t give me that normal warm welcome feeling you get in most Greggs. I was asked how I am to which I replied and asked the staff member how they were, I think they wanted to say “overworked and underpaid”. I managed to find a seat but had to put my bags, coffee and food down and then go back to the till and borrow some blue roll and spray to wipe my table and seats, I couldn’t see a bin so I left the food and rubbish that I had cleared back to the till. The children’s play area seemed to be closed so the seating area was quite busy and by the time I got back to my table that I had cleaned for myself had someone sitting at it. After showing them my bags and food was already at the table, they did leave. I just want to add that I had to give the table a good wipe. It clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while and needed some elbow to get some of the dirt off and it was still a bit sticky. I noticed there was always a member of Primark staff sitting by the toilet entrance (I’m guessing for security) which had a constantly long line of people waiting to use it. This line also included Greggs staff having to wait. No wonder the tables weren’t cleared. As I stood up to leave, a member of staff was at my table with a broom sweeping the food and rubbish on the floor over my trainers as I put on my scarf. I told the staff member I was leaving in a moment, I repeated myself after they said “what” and then they replied, “I know” so I asked if they would like to wait for me to finish collecting my things to which they replied “no” and carried on sweeping over my feet as if I was in the way. The donuts were great but overall it was a pretty disappointing experience.

I had the sausage rolls. They are simply delicious. You get 4 pieces for the price of three. Have a nice snack after shopping in primark was the deal breaker for me.

Delicious coffee but the sausage bean roll had 2 2cm sausages tiny and it was ok .just disappointed

Very small store with limited seating. But usual quality food and really helpful staff.

Freshly cooked bakes. Friendly and welcoming staff. Recommend the steak bake!

Loved this Greggs, it was in Liverpool Primark. Fresh new look, excellent comfy seating with bright, cheerful varied patterns. A giant sausage roll swing to pose for a photo. Food excellent and a great price as always. Staff friendly and helpful.. Great selection of food, bakes, treats and drinks.

i am absolutely fuming with this store. the staff is discriminatory. i asked for a sausage roll and i received a glazed donut. when i confronted the staff about this i was shouted at and when i was walking off i was tackled to the ground and broke my nose on the floor. never coming back ever!! im back greggs lovers wrong person right time a handsome folk finally served me what i deserve sausage tasted of dhit but at least it was ab handsome server x

greggs was very nice,woman at the till brought us our donuts as we had forgotten them at the till. kinda strange how you can watch people simply shopping for shoes.. but has a nice seat for taking pictures.

Greggs primark the staff not very nice and the food was horrible the coffee think it was yesterdays 😡😡😡😡😡

Honestly totally garbage. Asked for an oat latte and was offered a Soy Latte. Watching the person make it and it was soy barista poured directly from the carton cold over the coffee. A Latte turned into coffee with milk. Then ordered a vegan sausage roll and a cheese and onion pasty. Both freezing cold and lacked any type of flavour.
