Shirin Café in Liverpool

Went there a few months ago and felt sick after eating their breakfast. Staff very unfriendly

Lovely Cafe. First thing you notice is how relaxing the atmosphere is, very peaceful and calm. Staff have friendly smiling faces and very welcoming. Ordered a Full English Breakfast, very nice, and prices aren't too bad.(you'd pay more for a McDonald's) Daughter said pancakes with strawberries and cream was very nice too. Recommend.

Ordered an omelette, garlic mushrooms and onion rings. The mushrooms was that over cooked no liquid was in them, really dry. You wouldn't feed a rat this food. And to top it off it was freezing. Vile

Food is freezing cold. Chips & curry have been made that long and sat there there’s no curry sauce the chips have soaked it all up the toast is wet and soggy it’s not edible at all. What a waste of money.

Called in for sandwiches last week. My friends bread was stale. The salad you could fit on a tablespoon. My friend only ate the inside. Complained and the waitress just about said sorry. The tea and coffee was nice. Won't be going again.

Microwaved omlette. Undercooked bacon and hash brown. The toughest toast we’ve ever eaten. But did read order notes and listened to amendments we made.

This is what a Full English (minus the coffee) for 7 quid looks like at Shirin cafe. What can I say...nothing but always has been a glorious meal every time I dine in here before I start off with my day...the ambience and service is bang on as well. A hidden gem of Old Swan 🦢 .

Delivery was great, food was awful literally receive an egg and a cut up veggie sausage with a salad on the side- no thinly sliced fresh tomato topped with feta- no parsley with the egg - just really poor standard.

Breakfast was OK, but not worth the money, says it comes with tomatoes, it was just juice, and literally got one mushroom, cut Into small pieces, toast was only cooked on one side, and thin as anything....I'm going to stick to the Swan cafe 😀

The food was alright but I've had better elsewhere. The portions were a bit silly though, I got exactly one mushroom cut into quarters.

Popped in for a quick bite - eggs 🥚 and toast and coffee ☕. Reasonably priced, speedy service. Clean plates, cutlery and overall clean place with a welcoming atmosphere. They have lentil soup - will be definitely back for eggs 🥚 and to try the soup! Thank you!

Cafe was very clean and tidy didn't like were they put beans next to tomatoes to many beans not enough tomatoes got 1 Muhroom black pudding was very thin toast was more like bread sausages was under cooked didn't like were they put toast on breakfast plate should be on side plate

A very pleasant experience....the cafe is spotlessly clean and the food was beautifully cooked. We had a full English breakfast, which was enormous......I might get the smaller one next time...or I might not, it was so good!!! We will definitely be visiting again and try some of the othet dishes on offer.

Cafe was clean and tidy and the breakfast was presented well and plenty on the plate for the price. Could of done with a few more mushrooms. Having said that I left an empty plate.

Had the Mediterranean breakfast and some chips, both were nice.

Tried ringin them but no answer ? They gave me a cake what looked like they had eat half of it’ 😏 so yes u have lost a customer now mate 🤢 not payin nearly £4 when there was no cake there joke

Driver went in the opposite direction adding meaning he was about 10 minutes late and the food was cold and soggy by the time we got it

Quick delivery and spot on breaky

I didn't get my order they forgot to mention they had no delivery driver's, I paid sitting here waiting I had to ring them then they said oh we have no delivery drivers, I couldn't pick it up that's why I was using it, so they got £20 out of me, because they didn't put up on their site no deliveries.

Food is loverly here an the cakes but the 2 milkshakes I got the other day were like water don’t no how cause the shop is round the corner from me 😒

Ordered from here 2 years ago and the quality was really good, unfortunately it was not this time. The full english breakfast had 2 sausauges (1 small 1 medium), 2 eggs (well done), a pot of flavourless beans, 3 mushrooms (tiny ones), a thin slice of black pudding, splodge which was meant be tomoto but they looked like tinned tomatos, deep fried hash brown and 2 slices of bacon. Overall the taste wasn't bad but it did not look very appetising and was a small portion for the price. Wont be ordering again unfortunatly.

Such a lovely café in the heart of Old Swan. The staff were very friendly. The food is homely. I also had a latte which was lovely and hot - can't stand getting a lukewarm latte which has to be drunk straight away 😁.

Mediterranean breakfast “thin sliced tomatoes topped with olives and feta with a fried egg and a vegetarian sausage served with pitta and side salad” Reality: a cooked hard egg, some iceberg lettuce/ cucumber/ onion/ peppers, with 2 crumbs of feta hidden in there and a sausage on the side. No olives, no tomatoes, virtually zero feta. Basically a massively overcooked egg with mediocre side salad for £8.25

Ordered toasties and breakfasts from this place a couple of times now, always hot when it arrives and tastes great.

Really no point saying mushrooms when I got 1 whole mushroom on my breakfast terrible

This is one of THE best cafes ive ever been to, and ive been to a few.. reasonably priced, ethereal background music which is very relaxing and the food is out of this world... not very often when u see representation of food served at an establishment does it match what is placed in front of you, this nails it.. if i could give more that 5 stars i would and i will be making the effort to travel from Bootle to come here again... Bravo peeps, Bravo..

Hard chips and watery gravy wont be going back

The toast was soggy and freezing as if they left the toast out for ages and then buttered it, the butter wasn’t even melted on it that’s who you know. The sausages were literally 1 ich long like cocktail sausages and they forgot my mushrooms. How are you not ashamed to be serving food like this. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Absolutely beautiful food, lovely and warm with amazing and attentive staff. Has a very relaxing atmosphere. Very reasonable priced too. Would definitely go back if I'm ever in the area again. 100% recommend.

viggie breakfast was abysmal no tomato just tinned stuff, and 4 small mushrooms , 7 pound for beans slice of toast a hash brown and 2 veggie sausages

Absolutely outstanding. One of the best fry-ups I have ever had. Lovely, friendly staff too.

Everything was fine except use forgot my drink and chips where rock solid , couldn’t even bite into them :(

The greasiest brekkie i’ve ever eaten, doggo wouldn’t like it either.

I've been here a few times and it's always been fine. However I ordered food today, Food order confirmed, Food confirmed on way, I could see driver was on my road via map, waited outside but didn't receive Food even though app said food had been delivered but there was no sight of anybody. Called restaurant but received no answer. Had to get refund from Just Eat but was only refunded price of all items not the £3 delivery. Not impressed.

Used this place a few times never any problems untill today . The food was served cold and even tho it had been pre cooked they still couldn't serve it hot due to this I left it on the table . Will not be using again

Just like a good old fashion cafe with a little bit of continental flavour. A good contrast of old and new and we really enjoyed the food and the service.

Well what can I say, cheap, undercooked and dripping in fat soggy food I wouldnt feed to my dog. Went yesterday and I have terrible stomach pains ever since. Wouldn't recommend unless you want some time off work. Feel like death after eating there filthy omelette 🤢my daughter got a small English breakfast, the hash brown was inedible, soggy and had the worst taste iv ever encountered the rest was just cheap and nasty. Never again🤮

Order came fast, bit too fast and I know why. The food was absolutely horrendous. I ordered a double cheeseburger, and with it you get fries. The fries were old, soggy and tasteless, and the burger was just a bun with two burgers and cheese, literally, that's it! No sauce or even lettuce, just grease and a weird foul taste coming off it. The onion rings were also soggy, no crunch whatsoever. The only good thing was my Americano coffee. Would never order here again!!!! Can't believe that cast me 13 pound, I want my money back

I ordered a large Greek salad and a iced latte and honestly they where lovely the salad was so fresh and delicious I also liked the pitta that was given on the side , was a nice touch and the iced latte was lovely too I will 100% be ordering again! X

First time using and definitely won’t be the last. Delivered on time, extremely well packaged and piping hot. And the main thing DELICIOUS. Our new “to go to” for breaky on Just Eat.

First time using this cafe. Absolutely gorgeous. Cajun chicken on a roll was amazing. Will be ordering again.

Had the full English which was superb. Lovely hot food, good quality products. Only downside was the toast. It looked like warmed up bread and had some horrible spread on it, I couldnt eat it. Hot toast with real butter would have been great and I would have given top marks.

Mixed review as my full breakfast came without advertised black pudding, my 'mushrooms' consisted of 1 button mushroom cut into 3 pieces, the eggs were very over cooked and not runny at all, toast with (cheap?) margerine, carrot cake covered with artificially sweet chocolate sauce... All that said, the food I did receive was delicious, good quality bacon and sausages, everything warm, and quick delivery... I would order again but request these issues rectified first.

Foood is always perfect and delivery either on time or early. Can’t complain. Delivery man very friendly Will order again from here !

Food was really nice, the service was quick and the entire place seems to be very clean. Can't argue with the prices. I've been before and will come again some time.
