Huge portion of noodles sell for £9.5 only, basically 1 bowl of noodles is enough for 2 people. We also had coconut drink which is amazing This restaurant also has 2 level, upstairs is for hotpot and noodles, downstairs is for regular dishes.

Use to visit this restaurant weekly as it use to be our favourite in Liverpool and now I will never return, food is absolutely disgusting and cold.. also served on prison trays.. such a down grade of what it use to be! That’s one way to shut down a restaurant.. 🤷‍♂️

原本以往的水煮魚、酸菜魚、大腸等也很好吃，但現在卻沒有了。Lunch只有三餸飯、炒飯和炒麵。好大碟但不好吃，飯黐在一起，沒有味的，炒麵是炒伊麵，但餸不多，牛肉炒麵的牛肉煮得老，不好吃。三餸飯比較油，只有土豆絲和牛仔骨較好吃。如果繼續只賣這些食物的話，不會再來幫襯了。

以前味道質數幾好，但最近兩次去，好明顯味道差了很多，應該是換了廚師，不值再去。

food was decent. The broth of the beef noodles me and my boyfriend had was really nice and the noodles themselves were a good texture. The beef however was fatty and not flavourful but that’s just my opinion. However, the service was awful as we kept being stared at and felt judged and rushed to leave the place as quick as possible.

The best Chinese food in Liverpool! The portions are great and very affordable. The starters were tasty and the mains were massive portions. It's ideal to get a starter and main for 2 people to share!

Went here for the first time and it was so good. One of the best Chinese restaurants IMO. We have braised pork hock with sauce and morning glory with XO sauce and both were so delicious. The portion was good too and very filling. We paid around £33 for everything including 2 bowls of rice and drinks.

Great handmade noodles! Hotpots have a nice selection of sauces, condiments and ingredients. The restaurant downstairs has a great selection of dishes. Unfortunately cash only!

The food is amazing here! It’s one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever been to in the UK. The food is just like how it tasted in Xi’an, China. We love it so much and can’t wait to go back when we next visit Liverpool again. Oh and it’s cash only, they don’t have a card machine.

We’ve tried a few hotpot in the past and being in a new city we was excited to try a new one. But we was disappointed, the atmosphere in the venue wasn’t it for us, we felt judged and watched all through our meal and we didn’t receive some items we ordered until the middle of the meal only because they saw I was checking my receipt. They also didn’t tell us the sauces was an extra £2.50 a person (didn’t both us but wouldn’t been nice to be told) Not all was bad, the food was was lovely but didn’t get any help is telling us what was what.

和爸爸妈妈和一个朋友过来吃，点了三个菜，完全够饱，因为分量很多。味道也好吃，很正宗的水煮牛肉片，京酱肉丝，还有包菜炒腊肉。下次会再带爸爸妈妈来。不过上菜就有点慢，可能是太多客人。

I have been a few time and always nice. The range of food is fabulous and fresh. The way they present the food is absolutely amazing. We can make the dipping sauces by self. The staffs are very nice and helpful.

Fabulous sichaun food. Some unusual dishes on the menu but everything I've ordered has been really tasty. The food isn't particularly spicy, as I would expect but I guess you can ask for extra spicy, if that's your bag. The staff are always cleaning up and the restaurant is clean and tidy.

Really enjoy going here, food is generally good but I stayed safe on the menu (chicken kungpao), but there is a big menu and most of the client's where from the Liverpool Chinese community and it was crammed so clearly authentic and good quality.

Authentic with big portions. Upstairs serves hotpot and 油泼面 (oil splash noodles) which for some reason has to be ordered separately to any orders downstairs. Highly recommend the 油泼面 which comes in long hand-pulled strands in a thick spicy sauce. The place always seems to be packed with family gatherings and students.

Nice noodles, numerous choices. Beef noodles are a must try.

Ordered Aubergine stuffed with Garlic sauce from the vegetable section of the menu, arrived stuffed with Pork. The staff refused to accept any wrongdoing despite the menu making no mention of pork in the dish. We are regulars here and we’re so disappointed. Worse still, the staff were rude and after much discussion only agreed to a 50% discount of the dish. I would strongly encourage people, particularly vegetarians or vegans to avoid this place. Whilst I’m not a vegetarian, the reason we ordered a vegetable dish was to avoid meat.

Had a mixed meat and green/crunchy veg hotpot. Food was great and the broth afterwards was brilliant. The noodle soups are good value and taste fantastic.

Food were very salty, staff are friendly tho

Our first ever hotpot experience last night was a good one. The young waiter was so helpful with explaining the menu to us and telling us what was what as it arrived to the table. Food was so nice. Around £100 between 4 of us, for 2 main noodle dishes, lots of beers, and lots of hotpot ingredients (sea foods, meats, veg etc). Will go back very soon.

Went for a friend's birthday meal here. First time here and didn't know if it was meant to be upstairs (hot pot) or downstairs (restaurant). We figured downstairs. We went down a set of stairs...and I think I saw a lift come to think of it..not sure if its in use, but would be handy for those with access difficulties. Restaurant was clean and bright. Staff welcomed us over to our reserved table. Food was authentic and tasted like home. We tried many dishes, the fish was silky smooth, the veggies were on point, the spice in the noodles were very tasty. The bill between us was £22 including tips. The toilets even had a squat toilet too for users that are used to that kind of toilet. I tried it and was fine. The parking is a bit bothersome as its quite pricey. Try to park around the vicinity instead after 6 as its free.

I am a massive foodie, have eaten at many fine dining and casual establishments all over the country, however, mr zhangs kitchen is a seriously rare find. Incredibly authentic and delicious Chinese food. By far the best Chinese restaurant in Liverpool, I have visited multiple times and every time I am impressed. Some dishes are very authentic and may not be for everyone (traditional Chinese food can be vastly different to western food) but the majority of menu is incredibly delicious. Value for money and portion sizes are both excellent too. Mr Zhangs is my favourite place to eat right now and I can’t wait to return again!

Not true Chinese food, food awfully similar to Japanese cuisine. Also the Indian curry needs more cream!

By far the best Chinese restaurant in the whole north west 👌🏻 super authentic flavours and options! Thank god for this restaurant 😘 although it’s cash only but I have to say they are super generous with their amount and I always have lunch left for next day! Terrible service from staff, not welcoming or friendly at all. After paying the bill and leaving the restaurant, staff chased us outside to say they had forgot to charge us for some tea. They failed to explain clearly tea prices and so overcharged us for triple the price. Absolute rip off and taking advantage of people. Staff response was simply to argue with and dismiss us. Disgusting service and no way to run a business or treat customers. I would advise people to avoid this awful place, there are plenty of other delicious chinese restaurants that know how to take care of their guests.

负一层是炒菜，整体上来说在利物浦算中上水平，素菜，牛肉鸡肉等都挺好，但有的菜会踩雷，比如猪肉类（估计是用英国猪肉但没处理好，英国猪肉都味骚）。一楼是火锅和面条，火锅没吃过（这里不自助，一般去其他地方吃自助火锅），作为一个北方人主要来这吃面条，因为其他的餐馆主要都是四川或南方面条，吃不惯。想吃兰州拉面，油泼面什么的来这没错。至于服务态度，我认为中上，有的服务员态度很好，有的就挺平淡，但没有态度很差的（利物浦中餐厅整体服务态度都挺好，有一家除外，不点名了）。

说他家好吃的人，是没有味蕾吗… 拉面也很难吃，羊蝎子也很难吃，服务态度也是差的一批

Amazing. We ordered green beans with pork mince, duck with rice and lamb with scallions, all delish. My fav was the lamb with scallions. Decent prices, with soft drinks came to £35. Would recommend for proper authentic Chinese food!

The food was nice but very expensive - it came up to nearly £50 for a hotpot with only few side dishes. They didn't seem to offer anything but a hotpot at the time I went with my friend and we were told that they didn't have much of what we wanted to order. On a side note, we only find out when paying that they only accept cash which was a little inconvenient.

We had a really good time here. The portion was so big. The food tasted great. I really like the cold pork and garlic sauce.

Love the food here, the pricing is surprising good value and lots of choice. Free on street parking from 6pm. Would like it if they offered everyone green tea in a pot though, as is traditional in Chinese restaurants and much healthier.

was really nice experience so there you can spend minimum 60£ for 2 persons for the hot pot ,the only bad thing is if you go there and the first time nobody shows you how to do it so we felt uncomfortable as we didn’t know how is the process , in the end was nice and the food really tasty but you pay more for the experience not to eat that much because the meat for the hot pot are thin (8)slices and when you put them in the soup they become really small

Next level traditional food, would highly recommend, place has steam boat as well. They have in store made noodles, its must... Not had such satisfying meal out with family for a long time. Be going back for sure.
